To her surprise, Hanini grabbed her by the wrist, stopping her. They were in the hallway with no one else around, fortunately. She had heard a crazy rumor about a kid destroyed the gym floor with a basketball during P.E. and now she was dealing with the pain she had been experiencing since the incident. Only today, it was a lot more intense. What was happening to everyone? Hydro caught onto what was happening and directed her to the pool area.

"Yes," she replied, rubbing her temples.

The room was veiled in darkness, yet she could still detect small traces of light that reflected against the water's surface. Even that bothered her, but it was nothing like it had been. Tears surfaced in her frustration, but she held them back and shook her head defiantly. What did this mean? Would she ever be able to stand in the sun again without feeling like her head was about to split in half? She had had her entire life mapped out. Normality was what she had been chasing only to be thrown back into a world far from it. But she knew that Hydro was going through the same thing though. Unlike her, he appeared to be taking it in stride. Although, he could still act normal.

"Thanks," she said, lamely, taking a seat on the floor by the water. "Better get back to class before you get into trouble."

Dark hair fell over her shoulders, concealing her expression from him, but the tone of her voice had deepened slightly.
