Her ebony hair hung low, just below the sway of her hipbones. As her head turned from side to side, the woman's hair swayed effortlessly in the open air. Bare feet broke twigs as she ventures further into the forest. Around her, creatures stirred at the sound of her approaching steps but none were brave enough to make themselves known.

Her steps hit the ground at a faster pace as the woman sped up to a light jog. As she went, she whistled and called out a name. She jumped between two trees and stopped dead in her tracks. Her lids peeled back, revealing more of the silver rings around her dilated pupils. A man stood in the midst of the path, a mere few inches from her. She frowned.

The woman wore a skirt with slits up the sides and a bikini-like top. Two silver strands with sapphires hung around her stomach, crisscrossing at either side of her waist.

Her eyebrows pinched together, becoming an inch apart from each other as they went and forming wrinkles across her forehead that wa s mainly hidden by a sheet of bangs.

A long braid hit her stomach as she stepped back, measuring him up with once glance, and continued to frown.

"What do you want here?" she said, firmly.

A light accent licked her voice but it was impossible to be deciphered by most ears.

This was the pits... When Calyx turned 18 he was to go out and experience all that the realms had to offer; To learn to become a man. He had been from town to town, village to village, and he had experienced nothing he couldn't have experienced back home. He just missed his sisters. Everywhere he went, he thought about Ember, and the strange meeting he had with Marie....

Nonetheless he kept moving forward, searching for the great adventure that he had promised the Multiverse could offer him. This time he found himself in a strange forest. Rumors said it was home to an ancient civilization that worshipped fox spirits, and that if you traveled far enough, there were ancient ruins filled with treasures! Calyx didn't need treasure, but at least that sounded like an adventure! Onward to life!

Kayis stood ready, watching waiting As Kota prepared he did the same. Taking his sword into both hands despite the broken form of his left arm he used his drive and aura to hold it up. Behind him the symbol that was on his chest appeared and was chained by two crosses that rose from the ground on either side of him. The Sun became a timer for the moment and around it every single phase of the moon appeared in a form of crystalline energy..  Behind him the visage ghost of a Warrior with braided Black hair appeared.. a long goatee, and pure armor with a fur cap[e made of a thousand wolves. he had a stern look on his face and a crown on his head. The Shadows bowed behind him an army supporting his final strike and then He raised his sword as all the moon phases and the sun shot toward the tip of the sword forming a single white line into the sky. A thread like form at the tip of his sword As Kota rushed him... He too called out the attack in perfect Sync with the Kings visage that mocked his moves perfectly..

Requiem of Misery!!
Judgement of Kings!!!

Kotas sword clashed with Kayis own but the true form was what came with it.. The Chains pulled and the sky split as two guillotine like forces came forth one pulled from the depth of an underworld and the other from the deepest lie of hell residing in the sky, misery of everyone that had ever existed now brought into a pure form slash, Only to collide with the brilliant white light that surged from the sky in the same second. The Air burnt in upon itself causing explosions and Lava spilled from the center of the earth as the two colossal powers hit each other head on.. one over came the other and in a flash of light it was over.. the remnants of a once proud forest gone now, and replaced with barren magma rock.. cleansed and Kayis knelt on his knee with sword in the ground on one island amongst the lava. His eyes had cleared now as he looked about frantically praying he hadn't completely destroyed him..  However as he looked around he noticed the boy bare as ever laying sprawled over a rock with a few bones showing through his body... Somehow Kota had survived the attack... somehow... He wanted to help Kota, he truly did but there was no chance of that... none at all, and he was injured already pretty good himself.. So reluctantly Kayis pulled himself up saying a small prayer for Kota...but he left right after.. limping away from this battle in bare minimum of clothes... he was damaged.. and would need to get far enough away from here to heal.. So with a jump and a step Kayis took to the sky once more, and Oberon and Garreth appeared to hold him afloat as he made for somewhere much more safe, he could only think just how thankful he was that Kota had survived it.. after all that was his one.. and only son... despite his ambitions......

He could feel his flesh burn, his power fading and his body was just about to explode as the shadows of and chained coffin consumed him and held him their burying him in the cold hard ground.. Of course the damage was insane and every second he spent in his ultimate defense was painful with how the sharp threading shot through him and part of his organs... Blood fell from his lips as the explosion finally ended and silence once more consumed the world... He knew that if that had hit him it would be over.. he would have been absolutely destroyed by a power like that, and that realization to him it was now or never to end this..

The coffin rose just as Kayis turned and then the chains uncoiled leading Kayis to turn around and face it all with a blank expression.. The door to the coffin flung open and it was as if a Mirror was placed before them. The Dead look in each of their eyes mimicked the others.. Kota stepped out bruised beaten, destroyed utterly and still he had the determination to kill this man.. His aura started to grow around him.. this time taking shape and form as a gigantic 12 black angel winged Dragon appeared... in his aura... The equivalent was seen in Kayis with a brilliant white Phoenix behind him... Kota raised his hand outward lazily and the Aura focused as from his flesh a million chains of black shot towards the sky and the earth latching firmly as the sky began to form cracks in its flawless form... He spoke in the coldest of tones before dashing forward as if he were dead.. truly dead emotionless and the chained pulled... as Kayis prepared his own strike...

The wolves snapped their jowels and growled as they watched the young Kota... Kayis eyes had become distant, vacant and distant as if he no longer cared about trying to stop him any more and that was a dangerous realization with the creatures he commanded. The chains that held them, and it was Kayis there was always more than met the eye. Still Kota had his mist which formed around him, and he also had his secret weapon, his own move he had developed by himself.. one that would kill Kayis and an army when executed, at least that was what he was banking on. The wolves didn't wait though, they sprung into action soon as the mist crowded around him and now they were running it at him and in their mouths appeared a single long bladed katana.. " what the actual ****!?" Kota growled watching them lunge in towards him and meet his blade, but what he hadn't planned on was them phasing through the blade as if it wasn't even there at all.

Kota panicked, the wolves latched onto his limps and clenched on... but he was only slightly able to get them off by slashing pieces of his own flesh off along with them. There was no words for the pain he felt slashing off his own flesh.. He hissed in pain but had no time for that as the wolves cornered in once more.. " Damnit, DAMNIT!" He cursed out... and then Lifted his hand to the sky... Kayis only looked up fast enough to see the Rain get harder, hiw eyes widened in astonishment as he realized the Sand orb in the air was gone.. " no **** way...." was all that passed his lips before the beating and battering of Rain came down and with each drop a needle the size of a droplet came down.. not stopping at the earth no it completely went down through the earth leaving the tiniest little hole where each drop fell... Kayis could only defend until the rain stopped. His Swords began their works swerving around him at an unreal rate and deflecting each and every needle as the final parts of Kayis shadow mark started to work their way up Kayis throat...

Kota looked up ready to see the needles tearing Kayis to ribbons as they even battered against his blade in its mist like form. He was sadly disappointed, not only was Kayis fine as day but the wolves still stood watching him and from the look of the mark he was running out of time.. truly.. and energy. The rain was deadly now... the Wolves, and his weapon was also busy with fending off his own sand.. "I am going to kill you, you know.. Im not going to stop until you kill me.. or you lie at my feet dead in the filth of this place.. I have waited for this for far too many years to let it slip by now..." He taunted and growled and everything else trying to make himself clear but what he didn't realize.. was this whole thing was already over.. Kayis made that apparent.. "I have known that since the beginning, the difference is Iv tried not to kill you, to make you retreat or see that this is wrong.. sadly in about five more seconds, that will all have been history... " Kota growled out forming a gun in his hand and firing off perfectly lethal shots only to see them deflected by the blades surrounding Kayis..  The count down began...

5.. Kota was relentless with each shot.. aiming at a different part of the mans body with no chance of hitting.

4... If that wasn't enough the needles that were falling he now redirected with his remaining power to try and pincushion Kayis with them..

3.... Still there was no give in the mans defense even as some scrathed him it did nothing and the mark started to form next to his lip and gradually moving towards his left eye.

2.... Kota Knew that he was getting no where but he didn't give in.. now the needles that had pierce the ground expanded and a thousand giant pillars of sand like black spears aimed to impale Kayis at each side... as he danced on the sides of them with ease...

1.... It was done, the smoke covered the battlefield and he could only hope that he had got him, however as he stared intently on the dust cloud the sight of 64 golden set of eyes was seen all standing upon different parts of the pillars.. A full glowing silver set of eyes in the background behind it all, but they were different.. the eyes had no mercy in them they were lifeless almost and as the dust cleared Kota realized what exactly had happened but all too late...

The Wolves lunged in at him and just as his weapon moved to deflect them and Kota danced around them dodging at every single angle he possibly could... A familiar click of a sheathe was heard and just as Kota flashed his vision over at Kayis the mans sword came down claiming each and every chain and severing it as they dispersed to nothing... Things were moving in slow motion now as all 64 of the wolves launched in towards him and though he able to physically cut and hurt them now.. it was too late.. The world became silent and masked the inaudible scream of Kota as a flashing explosion consumed the entirety of the forest something more powerful than 640 nuclear bombs going off int he same exact location.. life ceased to exist... and the Demons that lay in hiding were wiped away, and as the flash cleared all that was seen was Kayis knelt on the ground as his clothes had ben blown off except for a part that covered him slightly in the lower region.. his body scarred and his eyes glowing as well as his mark.. The dust settled and in it an empty crater, but still he felt nothing... as he pushed off the ground and began his walk away from the battle field... It was done...

Surely it was starting to wear on him, but it didn't matter it would all end soon and he would walk away leaving his fathers corpse for Carion and crows, if not the multitude of Demons that were shying away from this place during their battle. His sword was resonating now as It started to fade, or near face. the shadow like form of whips, and smoke like tendrils became  a million tiny particles that surrounded him while his hand became free now and the sword was controlled by his will. Kayis of course had no clue as to what type of abilities the weapon held but he wasn't about to find out either. soon as the mist had appeared and Kota started a slow stride towards him, Kayis replaced his sword in its sheathe still allowing for the twelve swords to float around him but he had a feeling it would be best to have his hands free for the upcoming round in this desperate battle.

Kota didn't care if the man was weaponless though, his smile broadened and he shot forward, the mist following around him as the sound of 14 weapons clashed in sync. The gold and silver mix matched eyes met Kota's own abyss like orbs ove rthe mesh of twelve of Kayis swords against the mist and two Large well curved schimitars in each of their hands... Kotas were black as could be while Kayis own simply appeared white.. The two recoiled again and just as Kayis swung in with a double strike Kota hopped it and a spear formed in his hand blocking both of the weapons easily with its point firm in the ground.. Kota spun around the spear tugging it from the ground and the end turned to that of a glaive for him. He started a piercing set of Jabs towards Kayis but Kayis was no fool in this ground either. A Kusari Gama formed in kayis own hand and he flung it to swing around the shaft of the spear so that he could tug Kota closer and also catch his arm with the hook of the blade..

Kota was quick as well however and instantly leg go of the mist which reformed again in Kota's hand only a few yards away as he dashed from branch to branch.. He held a Large very long and powerful bow and was firing off the arrows in earnest. Kayis of course dodged as best he could taking a single arrow to his side, but he picked it out just as soon as it hit.. and formed a long javelin in his hand as he spiraled it towards Kota. Kota of course flipped the weapon and in that time had received a multitude of throwing knives which he flung like a true champion.. Kayis could only summon it just in time to throw the very same knives just in time to catch the others.. Then Kota landed and With a gigantic Scythe came in with a slash that surely would have claimed Kayis head hadn't he ducked just in time.. He now hand wrist band gloves with Blades on each and every finger and caught the scythe with one hand while slashing Kota good across the chest..  However before Kota could return his focus past the pain the unfamiliar sound of a click resounded and Kayis held both Oberon and garreth in his hands pointed at Kota's skull.

Kota chuckled as his Shadow appeared behind Kayis and a gun was held to Kayis own head.. Kota wasn't reluctant to pull the trigger though, and Kayis only dodged quick enough to fling his leg out and slash the shadows legs in half with a sweeping kick, before returning in that motion to Catch Kota aiming with his right hand to try and grab hold of Kayis head.. The shadow like mist that formed around his hand was one of the most merciless forms of energy he had ever felt before, He instantly ducked under the strike and grabbed Kota's hand while turning and forcing a palm strike with his left hand that was already destroyed, the sound of a snap and then Kota screamed in pain... his wrist broken and the shadow like mist ceased to exist on his hand...He stepped back holding his hand and cursing but Kayis did the same.. A look of daggers as he looked towards the mans but what he saw he never would have expected... In Kayis hands he held 64 different chains 32 in each hand.. and at the end of each and every chain. A dire sized White wolf..... Kota eyes widened and he prepared just in time for the synchronized howl of the wolves to mark their oncoming assault.

The walls closed quickly around him and the shadows held his weapons in place, but still Kayis recognized the technique.. he could feel the blades of sand falling over his body and slashing him up with each drop, and only was able to avoid it when he timed his energy outburst and burnt the sand, which only pushed for him to suffocate faster, but saved him from bleeding damage.. The worst hadn't even come but it was astonishing that Kota, his son had learned the technique his father treasured.. that Kayis had never been taught, yet somehow Kota had? it didn't make sense but there was hardly any time to think of trivial things like that.. He had to do something and fast.. The fire allowed for him to have enough room to maneuver.. and point his sword outward... sand fell over it but  it didn't matter as he chose different places to soften and harden air all around him.. Within only a few seconds he had set up the defense just enough or so he thought..

Kayis heard the words and prepared himself as the dreadful spears of sand came in at every single angle their tips shattered on the hard surface of the air, then they had the soft form to try and scathe through and another hard surface that stopped and chipped them to a point that none of them touched. that was what he thought anyways. However under the heat pressure and case of suffocation at risk he had clearly missed a point and was suffering now.. as his Left arm was torn asunder. the bones crumbled. the muscle torn and he writhed in pain just in time enough so that he could shut his eyes to fall out of the bottom of the prison with the blood of his arm.

He fell in perfect free fall towards the earth and hit the ground rolling to avoid at least some damage.. Kota had already claimed a huge amount of power.. he was winning, and the battle almost seemed one sided... He knew this So why couldn't he change it, why couldn't he get excited to fight him? Surely Kota was excited at the prospect of killing him so why.. That was just it though.. this wasn't like other fights. this was life or death, with his only son.. and he couldn't, he was going to die here...

Giving up already....

A familiar tone chimed in his head, the soft yet hardened tone of a stubborn woman.

I thought you were going to keep your word this time, I thought you were going to see Charm..

He knew it, he knew that she was correct, his lovely Kolagara, but how, how could he fight.. how..

Are you really going to lay down and take it? do you really care so little for her, for yourself.. is your life so insignificant that you think you are allowed to remain like this and let this little boy destroy you?

He is my Son, my only Son...

He is your enemy, and the little girl that still does love you is waiting for you...

The words echoed in his mind as the sky only resembled the turmoil in his own mind. Rain started to fall from the unforgiving clouds. " Charm.." he whispered and stood up to hear Kota screaming in rage and flying towards him.. Kayis eyes hardened and he knew it.. He knew what had to be done... With each and every tear that fell to mock the rain he knew what he had to do to end this... His Shadow mark finally met his chest and began to spread through out hsi entire body at a rapid rate... and with his destroyed left arm pain and all he tore the half mask from his face.. just in time for Kota to appear beyond the tree line. Kayis pointed his Sword straight out and a brilliant silver and gold form of energy formed at the top most point of the sword before the raw beam of energy claimed all the trees and Kota for three miles straight of the shot and a mile wide... The earth was shattered and lingered in dust like debris as he caught sight int he distance of Kota pushing up from the ground, crimson lining the spot where he had just been kneeling.. He spit to the ground and got to his feet as rain beat over them..

"Enough Kota... I don't want to fight with you like this..."

Kayis called to him a stern note in his normal tone..

" Well thats just too bad.. I told you Im going to kill you and I intend to do it!!" Kota screeched out and rushed once more.. Each step pllaned perfectly as if he were dancing over to him and His katana met the blades that surrounded Kayis even to this point. Kayis left arm hang limp at his side, unable to move anymore..., but he wasn't the only one hurt. He could see the bruises the pure burning cuts all over Kota's body from taking that Blast head on.. Each second held the ring of another sword slash but Kayis was careful to avoid the dangerous contact mist that surrounded Kotas blade.. carefully timing attacks to come in and out again as the tore down tree after tree and danced in the rain like mad men..

They exchanged blows, battered their legs against each other and Kayis finally had began fighting as he should have been, no mercy at all in either of their desperate fighting styles.. "Kota Stop this!" Kayis growled swinging down to try and cleave off his sword arm.. Kota retaliated with his own comment "Getting tired old man?" before they both jumped back and swung their swords out to send another crescent slash ten times as powerful as the last.. Kota's eyes were pure black now except for the brilliant sphere of blue and violet in the middle of the abyss.. Still though they were evenly matched.. The wave of energy knocked each of them into a near by tree and they got up just the same.. Kota was breathing just as hard as Kayis and cursing under his breath, both of them were tired, yet empowered... there was no give anywhere to be found.. " Why wont you just die for me? Kota hissed spitting up a bit more blood as he raised his weapon and prepared again..however this time... He switched it up.." Reap the Earth with Pain and misery, take form the Mist of Death..." He growled out and the Sword began to change...

The sand finished its course and the Forest was covered now in a black desert.. Kota held his hand in a ball form and though his aura began to glow he knew just how much power it would take to perform this move.. the Hand symbols he began to make and the focus power... "Pharoah's Desert Asylum!!" he growled out int he coldest tone.. The sand started to harden forming more and more into the Very enclosed dome.. Spinning forms started to form around it picking points where the spikes pointed down towards the giant dome, but the true danger was inside. For inside of its deem desolate crevices only a place the size of a body remained with consistent falling amounts of the razor sharp sand. that inclosed Kayis.. Kota lifted his hand high into the air and began to focus his strength into closing the mass as more and more layers formed and orbited around the prison.. it continued to grow.. until there were a total of 100 orbiting walls that circled and floated around the perfectly formed sphere. His hand just about clenched and the words came out in a serpents hiss. "Burial..."

It happened in only split seconds.. The Orbiting walls stopped in place covering nearly every possible angle and then they all snapped into place like a perfectly weaved puzzle of a magicians sword box.. there was no escape to be found.. Kota's fist was clinched before him a smirk upon his face as he opened it just slightly to allow the blood to drain out the bottom over the forest and mark the mans demise, by his own Fathers technique. However.. only a tiny bit of blood fell out, as well as a limp Kayis that tumbled to the ground however still perfectly in pieces... "Damn you...." Kota growled gritting his teeth as his eyes started to fill with black... He hissed and then like a shooting star he shot toward where his Father would have landed. he was determined that this was going to be the end, but how had Kayis not been eviscerated in the prison... It didn't matter he would hold him in their for a whole day if he had to force him to suffocate all the while stabbing him with the spike walls.. he would kill Kayis.. that was his promise.

Despite the Shadow marks influence he still wasn't fighting how he would need to, for even a hope at surviving this.. His body had taken to the air at rapid speeds and though the rough bark of the trees was less than inviting he was still able to move as if nothing had happened. the worst having been that horrible kick to the face.. Though just as he could reflect on that and spit some blood up he was being hit again, this time straight up.. "****..." he growled.. as he lingered in the sky, he could hear Kota coming closer and turned flinging his body just in time to flip backwards and crash his own kick into the back of Kota's head sending him flying back down towards the earth.. Kayis took the moment to get himself sorted just a tad bit more before taking in a large breath of air and closing his eyes. His aura disappeared for a moment.. "Unending Roar of the White pHoenix!!" As he called it out over the lands a brilliant blazing White inferno gust  came over and complete devoured the trees that surrounded Kota.. The fire streamed infinitely through Kayis lips and funneled down over the lands...

Finally it ended and the smog and smog from the ashen trees was all that was left to be found in the air.. harsh breath passed the mans lips as he stood in the sky looking down at the damage and searching for Kota.. It was a lot more powerful than any other time he had performed the move.. and the added stress of his Shadow Mark activating only made it that much worse on his internal organs. " Is it done?" He questioned.. but was answered just as quickly as it had been asked.. The smog had masked it and he had hardly noticed... but the slight buzzing sound of the Sand was apparent for one that had used it for so many years and he was only just able to dodge the move as the thinnest of lines of razor sharp sand shot out like a pin cushion attempting to impale him while remaining hidden in the smoke.. "Damnit.." he cursed as he felt one of the stinging threads line right through his shoulder on the left collar bone side.

The smoke cleared however, and Kayis suddenly wished it hadn't.. A wave, a tsunami that was ten times larger than anything he had ever crafted had already formed in the thick form of the smoke and was wading like a giant to cast him in the shadow of its wake.. He had to think fast, and though he had hoped he wouldn't be forced to do this.. he knew there was no way around it.. "Scathe the Sky, and become a Castle of Kings Kolagara!" He growled it out and just as he had the Weapon took its released form.. He still held the normal sword just a tad longer and a bit more decorative.. However dancing around him now were twelve forms that were just the same only lacking of detail and pure white of color..

The Sand came in that moment as the wave began to collapse over top of him.. and he could see Kota on top of the Giant.. riding it like some god of a technique Kayis had invented before the boy was even born.. He was so distracted though that he never noticed what came next until it was far too late.. The Shade that came from the Sand wave now had become lively.. forms of tendrils forming out of it grasped the swords that surrounded Kayis, leaving his ultimate Defense useless as the wave tumbled over top of him... However Just as it had, just before Kayis was completely buried he could see the gleam in Kota's eye as he took up a new form with his free left hand... Kayis knew what he was about to do...

His eyes had narrowed by that point and he was intent on watching his fathers movements. he didn't even have to answer Kota knew the rules, of White on Black.. he knew it all too well as he had already been hunted by two of His fathers flunkies, and fought each of them multiple times. twice having come close to death or lost people due to them. They were just as ruthless as his father.. but that would change today. Kota would make sure it changed.. The slight click of his blade echoed as he pulled it slightly out of its Sheathe and then with a loud war cry he withdrew the weapon and sent a gigantic torrent of  Black crescent like energy to clash against its white polar opposite. The collision was powerful and in instants the trees around them for a few yards were disintegrated...

The smoke cleared and each of their weapons clashed in perfect succession.. His Black Blades katana pressed against the straight metal of his fathers weapons and their faces were only inches apart. The two recoiled and then the blades met again, the tremor of powerful clash of steel on steel ringing through out the forest.. Sweat beaded already on each of their foreheads as they trembled to keep the other at bay for just a few seconds at a time before they clashed again.. Each movement a new terrain came about and when they would clash Kota aimed a arial kick coming around to cross his father across the jaw and send him flying and crashing through each and every tree in his path. A line of dust came from the forest marking Kayis path.. and Kota didn't stop their.. Just as Kayis found enough strength to get up from the ground. Kotas Left fist came up a monkey type of form of Kung Fu sending Kayis into the air from impact at his lower jaw. Kota of course followed Up Phantom stepping upward at an unreal rate as he aimed to slash Kayis in two mid air.

The words came in loud and clear as Kayis stared upon his son mid transformation. he had been distracted but deep down he knew.. His own body began to glow and the bright White aura like fire swirled around him.. The pain of the Shadow mark all over his body indicated just what was going on, but it didn't take away from the pain he felt.. It wasn't even the Shadow mark anymore.. A tear ran down the mans cheek as he realized exactly what had happened.. "you're Black Shadow marked aren't you son.." he questioned it but he knew, there was no denying the hateful feelings that were perking in his own mind that never would have even surfaced otherwise.. "Of all of the things..they could have chosen to do to me.... " he growled under his breath and clenched his fist.. The Makers had gotten him.. they had him defeated.. the ultimate equivalent Exchange for his mark, which was the most Ironic point to this... " This..".. He was astonished with just how easy it was for him to place his hand on the hilt of his own weapon. "Im sorry Kota..." he stated once more as his energy peaked and he grasped the hilt firmly tears still falling down his cheeks. He didn't want this he never wanted this... but it was too late now... there was no other way..

The smirk never once left his face but the burning sensation running through his shoulders down each of his arms had become much more noticeable int he time he allowed Kayis to speak to him. Honestly he couldn't believe Kayis had the balls to even think to do something like this, to try and demand his sympathy to try and turn himself into the victim of his hateful children... "So selfless aren't we Father.." He hissed  his eyes beginning to glow.. He hated him, he hated him with every fiber of his body. he hated him for abandoning Ivorie, for causing his mothers death, for abandoning him.. and then.. for the way he had haunted himself into Charms life as well.. "A chance? You want a chance?" he demanded growling as the black smokey like aura started to form around him " you think that if I beat you I will be satisfied, having your blood pained on the trees and dyeing this forest in crimson, you honestly think thats what I want to do with you..? " Kota started to laugh as his aura got bigger and bigger and his symbol started to move.. It moved from his left arm and his back until only his Right arm was covered entirely in the shadow like mist of and black form that was his shadow mark.. Chains with different pieces of skulls and flesh..showing just slightly through the markings on his arm.. It fed over his chest but could only be seen slightly in the slit of his chest.. " No Father you misunderstand completely.. I want to kill you... not beat you.. Im going to make you suffer... that is what I want..' he emphasized the "I" and pointed to himself as well. A low growl parting his lips as he prepared and rest his hand on the hilt of his Hand craft weapon.

"father?"

That was what him the hardest as his emotions became perfectly in tune with his mind and he realized just who had tried to assassinate him. A single visible golden eye met the man that now stood before him, a perfect resemblance of himself with shorter hair and other minor differences.. It was indeed his only son Kota. " Kota... what are..' He was cut off by his own confusion. After all it didn't make sense at all, Why hadn't Kayis been able to sense his sons incredible energy.. it didn't seem right at all. "Kota, how have you been boy.." he started; of course he would, as the way Kayis seen it he wanted nothing more to try and mend things with his children to try and be that of a family once more like it should have been, now that he was able. However the more and more he spoke, the more he tried to address Kota the more he realized just how pointless it was.. the daggers in his sons eyes told him just how much Kota had grown to hate him.. "I really do understand that you hate me, I do I could never expect anything less with what I have put you kids through.. I can only say that i am honestly and truly sorry for it all.. Thats all I can do Kota, I can let you punch me beat me bloody if thats what you need.. I just want another chance, a chance to be your Father again.. " he was near pleading at this point, despite his desire to see Charm there was no getting around this.. Kota was also his son.. his only son.. He needed to change things between them as well.

" Kota....."

He never would have hoped for such a simple tactic to kill the man, not even close, he didn't care to kill him yet actually. Kota wanted to face this bastard, face him eye to eye nose to nose... face to face..  The shadows caressed his being and only when he saw the man tumble to the forest floor did he emerge from the darkness. Tendrils of shadow pulled at his hair hair and tug it into a wild mess just for him to emerge. Kota in his own deep black Kimono with Golden trim.. He looked almost polar opposite of Kayis attire in color arrangement. White hair fell over both of his eyes like a curtain, both cerulean blue violet orbs shimmering just beyond the white mess. A strong chin and his perfectly sculpted and formed body now transformed into that of a near adult.. His hip held the place for his own katana and his neck a white scarf that hung around his neck as he stared the man in the eyes and smirked. " Hello Father..."

He was so close now, so very close to finding her, he could even smell the slightest hint of the little girls scent lingering in the fox just below. His robes flew behind him and flapped in the wind almost matching the sound of a storm as he descended upon a tree and looked down to where the scent was just in time for it to disappear again... It was far off.. very very very far away now... in only instants.. " what the actual hell..." he groaned  gritting his teeth and growing just a tad more upset by the moment. His reaction was short lived however when a stream of shadow like black Kunai flew past his head with him just barely and luckily dodging the brunt of the blow. They pierced the tree and just as they did they dissipated into the million of tiny shard crystals of Black sand that he could say was only hereditary.. His eyes widened and just as the tiniest of String like needles shot outward in all direction from the focal point Kayis jumped down to land in a crouch on the forest floor... His paranoid gaze scanning the forest.

A startled stir caused the man to jump up from his spot rooted next to her. A worried voice from an angel above him and through hazy vision he met her blue eyes again.. It was a short lived disarray as the sure of power hit him like a brick.. "Kayis..." He growled, and then he knew exactly what was going on, They had slept for too long and Kayis and Kota were almost upon them.. Running would be likely absolutely pointless. They were too close now but his mind was still swirling when she made her request,a d it wasn't until the gentle shock of her presence upon his cheek that he woke up entirely. " A place.." he thought to himself trying to vision somewhere int he many lands hed travelled that was living and safe. Kayis hadn't exactly been the type to avoid dangerous zones, so the task proved more difficult than he originally hoped it would be. "Asidawa tree its a tree that has leaves that fall in forms of snow year round. the snow is multi colored and gives the visage of a rainbow.. its a living organism which controls that forest.. its not super safe but its the best I can do.." he growled knowing that the time was almost up and soon enough there would be no time for anything.. " its our best bet..."

Her sleep was static and dreamless, tiptoeing shakily between over exhaustion and mania. It was a delicate rest, just enough on a mental break to be called as such; just enough to keep her from succumbing to the demon or to her own lack of energy. Nevertheless it took nothing more than a distant spark of sound to wake the restless Angel. She came to with a start, eyes swimming blindly in the pale blue morning light. A low growl pierced the silence as she swung her face to regard the weight against her shoulder, but it's ferocity quickly died as Sayor's sleeping face came into view. For a moment she simply watched him, stunned into a disbelieving awe at the peacefulness in his face. Such a rare sight was hardly something she wanted to waste, but before she could settle down against him again, there came another burst of energy similar to the one that had woken her. "Kayis... And Kota?" The two distinct signatures were very close and gaining steam, making their soon-to -be arrival very apparent.

"****!" she exclaimed with a harsh growl, all the while shoving herself to her feet. "Sayor, wake up." Angel bent to shake his shoulder gently, eyes scanning the boundary of the trees expectantly. When the very human-like demon opened his sleepy eyes and groaned softly into the morning, she moved over to where Charm was sleeping; stuck in a blissful sleep and painfully unaware of the danger. Angel scooped her up gently and moved back to Sayor, now standing alert despite his prior sleepiness. "They caught up to us already, dammit..." She struggled to make her groggy mind work, cursing herself all the while for falling asleep in the first place. A short moment passed as she listened for an advance. And then, the smallest spark hit her. Wide and slightly panic-filled eyes turned to the man at her side, but her voice remained calm and steady, defying the fear on her face. "Sayor, I need you to think of something. A living thing in a safe place. Think of it as clearly as you can for me." Her hand was already reaching to rest against his cheek as she gave the command, trembling just slightly against his skin with anxious anxiety.

There was wear and tear all around. they both landed and just as they had, Sayor noticed Angel move off to her own. At first his instinctual readiness pressed him to follow her, but he thought it not the best idea. Then there was also the fact she had Charm, but he trusted her and would give her the chance to handle it as she needed to.. Plus if a certain Demonic surge of energy entered the area then that would be enough to send him dashing after her.. So after settling a tiny flare that let off no smoke he leaned his back pressed agains the rough bark of a tree as he whispered to himself. " Fox Forest.." he flicked his finger around to get a stick away from him, if not just to have something to do as he waited and reflected on everything that had happened.

It didn't take long at all for the exhaustion to start taking control over his body. His eyes became the site of a battle that was just waiting to be lost as he relaxed there and heard the familiar coo of a near by Owl. A yawn passed his lips as he waited, and waited for Angel to return but just as the familiar embrace of sleep started to take hold on him.. He felt a sudden surge of a dark menacing energy force. The bright blue eyes peered up to the sky to see the black miasma enshroud and enforce his barrier, and it only took him a moment to scramble to his feet and dash through the forest towards the source. The Journey didn't take him far before he caught sight of Angel curled up, she seemed to be slipping as well, exhaustion and everything combined, but at least both her and Charm were safe, and he was ever thankful of that. So as he walked over to her he didn't say a word simply moved and rested beside her leaning his head against the tree as well. " Its ok rest dear.." Was the only thing he could manage before his body finally lost that battle inside. His eyes fell shut and then he was along in the darkness leaned against her.. well deserved rest that was much needed.

The black roots had formed a base in the soles of her feet and were stemming slowly through her veins, marking clear paths of darkness through her otherwise stark-white skin. They were tracing a path, slowly, up to her chest; and she was aware that if she was caught still in the sky by the time those markings reached her heart, the last thing they would have to worry about would be the onslaught of demons coming at them from all sides and the very real, very familiar pressure of two energy signatures that somehow were already on their trail. Sayor had never seen this form of hers, because it was one of her most guarded secrets. Only when she had exerted most of her energy and still faced affliction did it come out of her, and bombarded by the lustful and demonic energies that were following them through the sky, she could hardly resist her demon form much longer. By this time she had fallen silent, sticking close to Sayor's flank and assuring his questions with a low, feral groan.

Her mind was swirling endlessly around the gross and disgruntled screams filling the skies. They were beautiful- joining together like a tragic chorus and singing into her blackened, bloody veins. She wanted to drink in the energy that burst from their destroyed bodies; absorb the death and put form to it. But Angel was still fully aware of the little flower on her back, and the graceful man shooting through the sky just in front of her. Silently she sent a thank you to her Shade for encouraging her to feed earlier that night. If she hadn't, who knows how far into the change she would be? The darkness had climbed into her thighs by the time Sayor slowed down again. "Here is fine. But we have to hurry." She didn't explain anymore; merely jumped down into the branch Sayor landed in, and sprung to the ground before a breath could be taken. Angel landed in a crouch and unfurled her wings carefully, releasing Charm for only a moment before she scooped her up into her arms and walked with her to the small clearing Sayor had discovered.

As quickly as she could manage Angel located a small crook of trees and settled Charm into them, a little regretfully, and stepped away from the delicate little girl who was still asleep. "If I continue to hold her," she told herself between shallow breaths, speaking to herself, imprinting the thought into her muscles which had begun to shiver "I may harm her. I cannot harm her. She is only to be protected. She is innocent. I will not taint that innocence." Although she had been speaking to herself the words came out in a strangled murmur, and she could hardly bother herself to see if Sayor had heard. Instead, as he fell back onto his butt and settled in next to his little princess, Angel started toward the edge of the barrier he had created, unable to steal a glance at his eyes. The blackened vines had frayed and branched out around her hips now, stark trails cutting through her white skin, and she was sure he could see the changes claiming her. But still she couldn't think to speak to him or say anything. All she could do was slide down against a tree and curl into the smallest and most compact ball imaginable. And with her face tucked into the confines of her legs, she began to pray, to sing an incantation that would dispel the darkness away.

No longer had she begun to speak that the shadows swirling inside of her began to screech in protest. They filled the small encirclement just as the demon hoard filled the sky, with a chorus of screams; the voice of one thousand damned souls being cast away from their creator. They fell away from her, the collection of shadows that had been drawn to her from other demons, as if she were shedding a second layer of skin. And when the shadows were dispelled they hung around her in a dark cloud, writhing and pleading to join her body and her own Shade again. Her shade was all that stood as a barrier between her and the shadows of The Other, yet still he clung to her body and hissed protectively at the cloud, a threat. When her prayers fell silent the collection of shadows screeched a final time before exploding into the night, cast away in all directions. But rather than disappearing, the shadows latched onto the invisible dome of energy Sayor had created around them; enforcing the field and strengthening the barricade between them and the outside world far more than she could have managed had Angel not been lulled to some extent into her demon form.

For a time she merely hovered between consciousness and nightmares, her very small, very pale frame shuddering and shaking. "Thank god," she murmured over and over again, "thank god that I fed... thank god I didn't change..." How could she face Sayor like this? He probably didn't even understand the extent to which the demons had effected her. She had never explained to anyone what happened in situations like this; never confided in anyone to keep her secret or keep her from performing the inevitable sin of a fallen angel. How could she? It disgusted her that she could fall so easily to the darkness, it showed her weakness. It left her flaws open for anyone near her to see, and up until that night she hadn't allowed another to see her like this. But she wouldn't allow herself to fly away when Charm was safe- she wouldn't allow herself to run away from the very real, very human male sitting somewhere not too far away, most likely wondering what had happened to her. Angel would regret it in the morning, but for now she merely curled up in a huddled and pitiful mass at the base of the tree, murmuring over and over again the simple prayer that meant nothing to her, until it changed into something that did. "Thank god, thank god... thank my god, my shade..."
