Mirage's instructions hung in the air as he left them and entered his room without further comment. Cam then went to her own bedroom and collapsed on the bed with a heavy sigh. It had been a long day and she was exhausted. Her eyelids soon fell, pushing her into impenetrable darkness.

Ziya looks toward Ciaran with eyes that held doubt for the first time before looking back to the small kitten in her lap. "Whatever you say Ciaran......" Her words slowly fade as she closed her eyes for a small nap that she would need to be able to hold the appearance of someone else. How she hated having to do this.....this is not the life she meant to have for herself but plans always manage to change and this time, she could only blame herself.

Ciaran listened to Blaise's warning carefully and considered his options. It would be wise to not only abandon the computer, but their I.P Address as well. They could install a new wireless system directly on top of the original and it wouldn't bring about the slightest alert. He decided that was the best route to go. He then stood up, and looked toward Cammy, and Deanna. "Be ready to go out at 2:00. I'll explain the plan along the way." He then went into his room and shut the door. He had planning to do before he could catch any rest. He checked the time. 6:07pm. That gave him enough time to take care of everything he needed to.  He hoped the girls could do the same

Ziya saw no point in this. Even IF they succeeded with Ciaran's plan, there would always be the off chance that someone would recognize him. There is truly no safe way to get away with having a wanted registered mutant criminal with them at all times, but stashing Faith away like he had no feelings would not make anything better. Something had to be done, something needed to happen so that everyone could have a semi-normal life, if only for the moment......

Faith sat in his room in complete darkness. At this point he really could do nothing but over the situation . He simulated what had happen and what he should of done. At the end he came with an conclusion why this even happen.. Child like emotions. He couldn't help that they where there , in him, randomly wanting to free itself to expose like he did when he was in had cuffs . His emotions was is weakness and because of it , it got Camy in trouble and everyone at risk

He only way he could see from this ever happening again was to go back to what he use to be when he was in chains and shackles . Silent , always aware of his surroundings , short answers , no sign of emotions, a robot . Faith thought long and hard about it and settle with the conclusion it had to be done because at the end , even though he was free from the prison he still didn't have freedom . The world wasn't reAdy for Faith .

At this point he was useless , he only thing the man could do was I train in this small room he would be sleeping in for the next couple of days. The spheres , which was so hard for the man to control came to him almost instantly . He expand it to a basketball shape and meditated on controlling it

Blaise frowned but obeyed without objection.

"When the truth does come out..." her sentenced trailed as her frown burrowed further into her cheeks.

The squint of her eyes and the rapid drumming of the keys made known she had hit a brick wall in her work. Several black boxes began popping up on the screen with white inscriptions within them. All at once, the power turned off and the computer gave an unhealthy grumble. Blaise exited the room and after a few minutes, the power flipped back on and she returned soon after. The woman then went back to work at the computer.

"Someone planted a 'bug'. If I get rid of it, they will know so I'm going to mislead it to think I am watching funny cat videos but after this I do not suggest using this computer," she said, pushing 'enter'.

A few more moments and she threw up her hands with a grin.

"Done!"

----

Cam shook her head to his question. She hadn't time to sleep much less play on the internet.

She nodded her head to his instructions, not knowing why they were going to make a video, but having enough sense not to ask. He would tell her when the time came.

Ciaran listened to Blaise's advice, considering it carefully before making a decision. "Altering the videos could bring about even worse consequences, should they be discovered." He told her. "The man in this video is undoubtedly Faith Alexander. But the good news is there is no recognizable shot of Cambria's face. Not only that, but he  called out to her several times, but he never used her real name. That could very well be any blonde haired woman named Cammy. These videos don't necessarily link Faith to us, but we need to take some precautions. I want you to create a youtube channel belonging to a young man around college age. Make sure that there is no way to trace it back to you, this computer, or OpMax." He then stood up from his computer and went to grab a slice of pizza before calling out. "Cambria!" It was rare he called her by her government name. It was clear that he was serious.

When the blonde haired woman arrived at his side, his voice was calm, yet stern. "The picture that you sent Ziya when you got your hair colored last night... Did you upload it to any social media?" Her answer to this question would determine the decisions he made. If it hadn't been uploaded anywhere online, he would instruct both Cammy and Ziya to delete the picture, and then Cammy would be getting her hair done again; Cut and recolored. If it had been uploaded, that would be a wasted effort, and he would skip to phase two.

"Ziya, and Cammy, we're going to create a video." He said calmly. Be prepared to go out late tonight, and Blaise, make sure my video camera can see sharp as a blade at night. We're going to need it to be unmistakeable..." As usual, the man was in complete control, even in a state of possible emergency. Even now, he showed no signs of anger, despite his apparent frustration. This was supposed to be their day of relaxation, though he had errands to run. Not only that, but... He sat down and turned toward Evelyn. "I apologize." He told her. "I haven't been a very hospitable host. I hope I'll have the opportunity to make it up to you in the future."

Ziya watched Ciaran talk to the police for a moment before allowing them to leave. "Weird....." Shrugging, she walks into the house without looking to find anyone who would be on Ciaran's rampage path. Turning to head down one of the halls, she slips into her room without a word or a want to come back out until she was needed.

By the time Cammy had finished shaving Faith's hair, her hands were trembling; not out of fear but from stress. The flight had sapped her energy and the present drama was only adding to her exhaustion. Written within the two sets of eyes, she felt the weight of accusation pressing down on her, making her feel claustrophobic in a way. Cam fought the urge to fidget because she knew the nervous twitches would only upset Ciaran more.

Her eyes stuck to the ceiling as the doorbell rang. Aromas of cheese and pepperoni filled her nostrils which made her stomach do a rather unpleasant flip. After the door had closed again, Cam watched Blaise assault the keyboard viciously all the while staying silent.

If she had opinions or ideas, she didn't say. She had a feeling that they, or really she, were not welcomed at the moment.

Blonde hair cascaded down the small of her back while she gave her head a simple shake in order to move the wisps of hair off of her cheeks. Idly, Cam continued to watch, only moving to seek comfort in her stance.

While everyone else was worried about the scene Faith caused on the beach, Evelyn only got hungrier. The whole ordeal didn’t interest her, besides, Blaise and Ciaran were taking care of the situation beautifully. Evelyn stood up from her chair and slipped out of the room, unnoticed. The tension in the air was palpable, it made it hard for her to breathe, so instead of remaining in the thick of it the mind reader left the room and ventured into the kitchen, half tempted to search for some food to eat.

Just as she was about to open the refrigerator she felt another mind enter her range of sensitivity. The pizza delivery man. Long legs carried her to the door with silent steps, once again moving unnoticed through the house. Before the guy could even touch the knob, the door flew open, revealing Evelyn’s smiling face. The food smelt amazing. Their exchanged was silent; he didn’t speak once other than the ‘have a nice day’ as he left, to which Evelyn didn’t reply to at all. The money for the food was paid out of her own pocket with money she’d been saving up or was taken out of someone else’s pocket when they weren’t looking. Either way, Evelyn went back into the house with her arms loaded with food. She placed the food on the kitchen counters, immediately going for a giant slice of the supreme, which she promptly took a huge bite out of, a soft sigh of content leaving her lips.

Faith didn't even bother to say a word about the decision Ciaran made . He to a deep breath and exhale the negative thought of losing his hair. He sat down , it wasn't Camy'S fault that she had to be the one to to cut it short. But Faith gave her a stare that penetrate steel , it was cold , blank , able to stab her emotion at will. The process begin, he stared at the wall with no thought intended . Inch by inch his dreads fell from the top of his head. With each dread falling Faith became more cold . Then she begin with his facial hair.  She told that completely off, not even an goatee.

When it was all done Faith look at Camy one more time . He gave her a look he would give an  inmate when he wanted to kill them, but that wasn't thought he had in mind . The man left the room and headed back to his quarters where it was dark and he had time to think...

Cam held together her demeanor as a gaze hard and cold as steel, penetrated the distance with invisible daggers. Ciaran barked his commands and she complied without rebuke. With a razor, she made Faith's hair shorter and completely shaved his face. In her opinion, Cammy thought it would have been wiser to dye his hair but she was not going to mention the fact, much less speak in front of Ciaran. Faith escaped unscathed, thankfully, and Cammy cleaned up then waited for further instruction as she stood out of the way.

Blonde hair cupped her jawline as she watched the action with blue eyes.

--------

Blaise pulled up all of the footage in the matter of thirty seconds. She pointed to the screen.

"This video in particular has over 31,000 views already," she said.

Youtube was a pain.

"The only way to rectify the issue is to confront it with honesty, erase the video which won't take back the memory of those who have seen the video, or plant 'defects' within it that only trained professionals can catch which will cause everyone to believe it's fake once they find it. It will be like another fantasy football video."

Every time Ciaran asked a question, Cammy gave the exact question he didn't want to hear. The situation was growing progressively worse with every bit of information he obtained. It had gone from a situation which was an inconvenience, to one that could land all of them in jail if not handled quickly. Of course, holding Ciaran in a cell would be near impossible with his influence, but it was still bad publicity.  And then, the doorbell rang, and the line was instantly disconnected. Ciaran knew what that meant. It was dangerous for her to be on the phone now. At least something he taught her had stuck... He was close tot he house now, so he didn't bother with the phone anymore.

When he pulled up to the house, there were three cops walking away from it. Someone in the house had done something right. Anyone's guess who, though. Ciaran got out of the car with a smile on his face. "Hello,Officers, I'm Ciaran Cross." He said, as he shook each of their hands, his smile turning to a grin once each of them had touched his skin. "Is there a problem? I hope my guests haven't been causing any trouble!"

"No, a nevous sounding officer said, his eyes shifting. We're looking for a suspect that we got a tip may be in the area, but your home checks out, sir." The nervous tick in his expression and face was shared by the other two. They were trying to protect themselves from something. Information getting out? That meant the one who had protected Faith was either Blaise, or Evelyn. He couldn't picture Evelyn playing a role without a price, so he assumed it was Blaise.

Unfortunately, blackmail wouldn't keep them away forever. Eventually, they would be secure enough to return, or at least send someone else. "So the man you saw in the house wasn't the man you were looking for, right?"  His power was already working it's way into their minds. Whereas they probably never went past the front door, their memories were being rewritten. It wouldn't take long for them to recall seeing a man who looked like Faith from a distance, but was confirmed to be someone else once they arrived. Once Ciaran was certain that would be written in their report, he sent them on their way.

When he walked into the house, his smile was gone. He looked no one in the eye, instead walking straight to his laptop and carrying it into the dining room, motioning toward Blaise. "Pull up every video of Faith that's hit the web." He said, turning away and toward the room where Cammy and Faith hid. His eyes were narrow and harsh, which only added to their intimidating color. They shifted from Cammy, to Faith, and back. "Cut his hair off, and shave his facial hair too." He said to her. There was no indication in his expression that he intended to ask how Faith felt about this. He then turned back out to where Blaise had surely accomplished her task by now. If only Blaire were as obedient and efficient as her... It seemed she had run off somewhere in his absence, but there was no time, or need, to hunt her down. She always came back for her sister.  Ciaran then sat down and prepared to watch the videos of Faith's meltdown on the beach.

Cam squeezed her eyes shut as she answered, "Yes".

He had been seen with her. Why hadn't she foreseen the mistake? But what other option did she have?

"Yes," she answered again without trying to summon up an excuse .

There was excuse to give; although she wished there was one good enough to dodge his anger. It then dawned on her that she would never gain anything more than a business relationship with the man. With difficulty, she ignored the thought and forced herself to think about the matter at hand.

And then, in the sound of a death sentence, the door bell rang.

Cam hung up the phone without a closing and sought out Blaise who was standing nearby in the next room.

-------

Blaise went to the door and found three policeman standing there.

When would Cam learn to clean up her own messes?

She smiled. "Why, hello officers, what can I do for you?"

The stiff, white-haired gentleman held up a picture. Faith's picture.

"Have you seen this man?"

Blaise tilted her head and sized up the picture in one glance. "Isn't he that escaped criminal? From North Korea? Wow, he doesn't even look Asian! Do you want to come in for coffee? I have been needing to discuss the affair you have been having. Has your wife found out, yet?"

The man paled and then coughed as the other two policeman stared at him. The brunette on his right looked back at Blaise and said, "M'am, we have witnesses saying this man had went into this house. Can we search this home?"

Blaise turned to him and grinned as she stepped aside. "By all means, Jerry. And hey, if you need any more ointment, there is some in the bathroom."

It was his turn to become pale.

The last gentleman, whom had remained silent, finally said, "No, that won't be necessary. We must have been misinformed. "

She watched them leave and shook her head. It was amazing what you could do with random information you find when you hack.

Ciaran wasted no movements. The only thing that he allowed the extra time for, was Ziya gathering the cat, and her things. As Cammy explained the situation, he was analyzing the situation, even as she spoke. He didn't have time to waste on anger. He needed to resolve the situation. Scolding wasn't top priority. There were two questions that needed to be answered. "Was he seen with you?" It wouldn't make a difference if he was seen with Evelyn, or the twins. They weren't documented employees of OpMax. But being seen with Ziya or Cammy could be catastrophic! It would be enough to arouse suspicion of their involvement with his escape. There was another question that needed to be answered as well. "Was he seen traveling toward the house?" Ciaran's quick deciphering of the situation left no room for him to register the words that traveled from Ziya's lips. Whatever moment they may have been forming would have to wait for another time...

Her hand reached for his face as he looked into her eyes. "What about it?" Softly, her fingers danced around his cheek for a moment before he pulled away and read a text. Apparently Faith tried training outside and Cam went to rescue him from the people on the beach, only to have the two of them video tapped. "Give me just a second. I have to be careful with Simba." The woman gathered the small ball of fur and a large purse which she loaded with make up from a kit that no one knew she brought. With a deep and brooding sigh, the woman closes the door behind her and follows the storming man back down to the car only to idly stroke Simba's back when Ciaran took off in the car. "Just when I started to make a break through....." The words mumbled to herself accidentally filled the car as she stared off into the blurred scenery.

Blaise nodded in reply to the woman's words. Ciaran was going to be pissed. It was going to be fun to watch someone get in trouble, although it was not going to be fun putting up with his attitude afterward.

"Maybe, we will get to go to Spain. I've always wanted to visit there, " she murmured, idly.

Red and blue lights danced on the ceiling as she listened to Faith and Cam in the next room. And then, she heard a phone ring and she knew it was probably Ciaran.

"Great, he's going to be in a mood for weeks."

------------------------------------------------------------

Cammy watched Faith go without saying a word. He was beating himself up pretty bad but she knew Ciaran was going to be pissed at her, not him. Faith did not know any better, she did; it was that simple.

Her phone went off and Ciaran's picture stared back at her on the screen.

****.

"Faith made a scene while training. Cops are outside on the beach and videos are all over TV and youtube. He's inside now and calmed down," she replied.

Ciaran found it hard to believe that Ziya didn't know what it was they needed to talk about. He stopped directly in front of the woman, and looked her dead in her eyes, daring her to tell him she didn't understand. But when she gave him no indication, he came forward with it, more expression in his eyes than he had shown in years. "Before we released Faith, back at your house... I-" Just then, his phone went off. With a heavy sigh, he pulled his phone out and looked at it, prepared to give the text a quick look over and put it away. But when he saw the message, anger flared in his eyes. "We have to go..." He said. He gathered his necessary things, and waited for Ziya to do the same. Before he even made it to the car, he was dialing Cammy. When she answered, he would offer her no greeting. "Start talking." would be his only words, as he started the car, and pulled off in the direction of the house.

Evelyn took her turn to shrug her shoulders. “Cammy seems superficial, if I’m being completely honest, although I haven’t really spent any time with her. She comes off as the classic blonde; hot and stupid.” She shrugged once more, sliding her eyes across the room to the doorway where she saw Faith carrying Cammy. Any other normal person would be worried, but Evelyn couldn’t care less, the situation held no importance to her.

A quick glance over at Blaise told Evelyn that the ‘geek on steriods’ didn’t like Cammy, A smirk flashed across her face at the realization, though it was soon replaced with a blank expression. It was around that time that the electricity began to flicker on and off. Evelyn immediately knew it was the workings of the man-child that carried Cam in. “They’re either having a really good time or he’s having a breakdown…” She mumbled to herself with an amused voice, eyes darting to look at the flashing lights.

Ciaran said that she did not hold empathy toward people, even though she had the ability to mimic them. His statement, true about everyone on the team, made him sound like a royal ass but she sounded like the same just moments earlier. And yes, the man did hold truth in his words, she did not understand how to show empathy toward people, but if some helpless creature had a moment where the only correct emotion was empathy, she would show it in a heart beat. Ziya never thought about it before....could she be defective in how she communicates with the world?

"What do we have left to talk about Ciaran? I am actually extremely relieved that you trust me." Her body turned toward his as he approached. Could he still have the moment of the kiss on his mind from when they were in her house? It actually annoyed her how hard Ciaran was to read but something of the same nature tried bubbling itself to the surface again. There is also the chance that he could just want another kiss and leave it at that.

He took a deep breath and calm down. It was easier to tame the madness with just some deep breaths .  Faith never thought of this as a training exercise , but if it was he failed epically .

" I just don't understand , in prison all I had was time. All I did was lift weights and educate myself . I received my masters in psychology , learnig body motions , human emotions from just sound alone . Just there energy and how they express there's elf . But yet I have a masters in a field that I can't even control my own child like emotion. I don't understand , I can't process the reason why I can't adapt even though I have read every book, magazine , and artical about the outside world . It puzzles me being in this mental state ".

Faith place a hand on the couch arm to help him rise off it .

" Camy , I know what I did was wrong and that alone I'll apologize for it, but you don't to take the blame for action in act on alone . Remember I am grown and will be accounted for my own faults . But thank you , you saved a lot of lives from my hands today "

Faith left heading to the bathroom so he could tend to the wouds on his feet .

"Faith, you are training, right now," Cam said, placing her phone in her pocket. "You are being fronted with two choices. Being controlled by your emotions, or choosing to not let them control you. Everything is flickering. Can you take a deep breath and calm down?"

Cam gave a deliberate flick of her finger, shutting off the tv.

" If he's mad at you, Faith, I'll kick his ass, " she said in a serious tone.

She tried to confort Faith with her words and playful tone. But the man wasn't stupid , he was far from dumb. He knew leaving the area was a bad idea to begin with , he could feel it in his gut just thinking about it at the time. But he wanted to train more and explore the outside . Always being surrounded by four walls gets to a man after awhile . Faith wanted to feel things for himself for once . A different smell other then cement blocks all day. Something different other then the feel of cold concrete and metal bars .

Faith was drug into the other room and was told what to do for the time being . He could only listen as people on the new plastered him , calling him a freak , mutant , a mistake from god. The blind man sat down on the couch listening as the victims on the news continue to blast the man for his mistake . Faith understood what was going on but his child like emotion tended to overrun at times .

He could here Cam texting a number , it was Ciaran no doubt . He was going to be pissed at Faith when he return from errands .

" No .... I don't want Mr Ciaran to be mad at me . I just wanted to train more .."

The lights in the house started to flicker on and off , first the flat screen cut on and off then the lamps follow by the bathroom and kitchen lights. As Faith started to think more about Ciaran and everyone else was going to be mad at his the more the electricity played on and off the house

Blaise shrugged, "Only if Cammy isn't here to. Cam is highly selfcentered and her emotions for Ciaran is pathetic. "

She rolled her eyes and shook her head at the thought of Cam.

"I'm a geek on steroids. Some power, right? But I guess it's better than being a giant lizard. At least, I can hide mine."

The back door opened and closed and soon she saw Faith carrying Cam into her room. Annoyance brought tension to her face as she shook her head at the scene. Couldn't Cam keep her pants on for once?

---------------

Cam could have walked on her own but she was not about to distract Faith while he was somewhat calm. They would have to do damage control, especially if the incident had been leaked onto the internet. Also, they may have to relocate if anyone had recognized Faith.

She could see the headlines now.

'MUTANT CRIMINAL SEEN IN HAWAII'

Ciaran was not going to be happy.

Faith, moved by guilt and fear, began ranting. Cam shook her head before realizing he couldn't see it and then said, "No, it was my fault. I saw the crowd growing and I didn't think to stop you. You have no idea how to live on the outside yet, Faith. It's not your fault everyone is attracted to danger in a sexy form."

Playfulness filled her voice and she smiled, hoping to reassure him. Fishing out her phone she began making phone calls, hoping to scrub up the mess before she had to tell Ciaran.

Cam drug Faith along with her as she roamed the house, first going to the TV and then the computer. Videos of Faith's outburst were plastered on both screens, making her job that much harder. In midst of the chaos, she took a moment to text Ciaran.

" Hey, so you love me right -"

" Remember that time I accidentally flushed your socks down the toilet and flooded your whole apartment and we all laughed -"

Did he even know about that? She couldn't recall.

Cam sighed and finally sent the words 'Faith escaped'.

Ciaran should be home soon after he got the text but there was no predicting what he would do.

"Faith, I need you to listen to the news and let me know of they say anything new while I correct the situation."

She hoped it would help distract him if he had something to do.

Ciaran didn't seem to show much reaction to Ziya calling him an "ass." But he didn't have his normal blank expression either. His face seemed... contemplative. After a while, he took a deep breath and spoke up. Unlike normal, however, there was no authority in his voice. Just calm conversation. "Everyone among us is flawed. "Evelyn is selfish. She has no problem invading someone's space in order to further her own goals. Blaire is aggressive and rude. Blaise... Well, Blaise probably doesn't like you because of your relationship with Cammy, who has always been rude to her. Faith is childlike. He's eager to please, but isn't fully aware of himself or his surroundings yet. I'm goal oriented to a fault." He took a deep breath. "And you, Ziya, are oddly without empathy, considering the fact that you can absorb a part of someone's essence. I took everyone in with full knowledge of these faults. Maybe even because of them. You should never feel that I don't trust any of you.

He looked at the ground when she mentioned him having "fear of rejection" He never really considered that. Did he fear being rejected by the group? Probably not. It was more likely that he feared acceptance. It was his role to stand on top as the leader. He couldn't be a part of the group. It would disrupt the dynamic. It was his role to watch from the outside.

When she walked over to the window, his eyes didn't follow. He just continued to listen. He let out a sigh, before finally responding. "Then I'll start by putting my trust in you." The fact of the matter was, Ziya was the most responsible among the group. If he could trust anyone to start building relations within the group, it would be her. As he looked at her though, resting against the window, another thought came to mind. "There's something else we need to talk about as well, though..." He said, as he got up from his position on the edge of the bed, and made his way toward her. The look in his eyes made it clear what he was referring to. They still hadn't made heads or tails of the events that took place at her house. Something else they needed to make sense of.

It felt like jack hammers was pounding on his head repeatedly. All he could hear was voices of people moaning from the sickness. He tried to mute the sound away like he was taught but there was to many people in one area to even begin to focus. He felt like his head was about to explode , every word that escape from the crowds mouth travel to his ears all at once, it bash in , all wanting to enter at once without no wait.  Tears gently walk it's way down from his blood shot eyes to his darken cheeks from the pain that was endure his brain .

"Someone help me!!!"

Faith cried out, but instead the moans increase causing him to fall into a trans . "Focus on my voice Faith please "

"Camy? Camy where are you ? I'm scared, I can't see nothing . Camy , CAMY!!!!"

His panic and fear started to grow more and her voiced fainted away . All she was whisper was focus on her voice . Faith started to walk , the sand made each step difficult to take. Soda cans and sea shells made gashes and cuts on the bottom of each foot. But with each step her voice got a little louder meaning he was getting close . Faiths fears started to settle when Camy's voice increase with each step , his calm demeanor returned and in no time he found Camy lay on the sand .

The sound of police cars and ambulance came from afar , " **** , we have to go , let's go Camy " but she was to drain to even stand let alone walk . Faith pick the feather weight women up , he position her so the only thing she would have to do was wrap her arms around he his neck . He started to tap the sand , he new both his feet where bleeding but if enough blood fuse with the sand he could make it mushy enough to turn it into a solid ground . He repeated it each time till he found the boardwalk and head back to the hotel .

Faith free one arm and open the door, then place it back were he was hold the light women up. He travel up the steps into her room. On his way to her bed he step on some of her expensive clothes . She was going to be pissed when she recovered, but Faith wasn't worry about that at the time . Faith place her on the bed " What have I done ! " tears started to pour from he blind eyes . "All I wanted to do was train and feel normal " . He then wipe his tears away and left her in her room to rest and recover . While going up the stairs the pain on from his feet started to sting . The blood slow down but didn't stop as he continue to walk to a dark room and just curled up in a ball.

Evelyn nodded her head, a nasty grin on her face. “Met Ziya, survived the fleas, and I even got to see her with her claws out. It’s quite adorable. Does she always act like she’s better than everyone?” She queried with a raised brow, completely sarcastic with the intent to offend. Too bad Ziya wasn’t there to receive the blow.

She leaned back in her chair with a sigh of content, closing her eyes for a few moments. “Don’t apologize for the pizza. It’s the best thing I’ve had all week.” She only had one customer, and there’s only so much you can buy with ten dollars, especially since everything was obnoxiously priced, so Evelyn managed to by a loaf of bread and two Slim Jims. She's so fancy, but you already know that, in the fast lane, from L.A. to... Hawaii.

“I’m Evelyn,” She added after a moment of thought, snapping her blue eyes open and looking at Blaise. Her powers remained idle; while she was able to feel the presence of Blaise’s mind she didn’t yet enter it for it was not needed. Anything she would gain from the other woman wouldn’t be any value to her; Evelyn was not looking to make a new friend, so it would be pointless to learn about her, except for one thing Evelyn was completely curious about.

“So what’s your power?”

In the moment that she took to lay Simba on the small pillow, her head turned with a brow raised. "What do I think about you? Right now......I think you are being an ass who has a hard time showing even the slightest bit of emotion. And that you do not care to take others into consideration when making decisions. The new recruit has personal space issues, the pets need a muzzle or an attitude check, and I like the other two. But......" sitting on the edge of the bed next to him, she places her hand on his knee, "I know that there is another person hiding behind all the seriousness. Someone who wants to come out and play with the rest of us, but you feel as if you cannot show to us out of fear of rejection."

Slowly standing, she walks over to the window and looks out to the rolling waves. "Not everybody is out to get you. And you have to have some type of trust in us if you are willing to have all of us together in the same house and working underneath you as a team. As dysfunctional as we are, it all comes back to you being the one who brought us together." Leaning her head against the window, jade coloured eyes hide from the sun as her arms fold under her breasts.

A soft sigh escaped Ciaran's lips upon hearing Ziya's question. "So you're saying you would trust the twins to be there alone with him?" It didn't make much sense to him. The house was completely in the other direction. What was the point in back tracking just so the kitten could sleep? He was already sleeping anyway... These were the thoughts that crossed the man's mind as he walked toward the door. But just before arriving at the room, Ziya showed up behind him.

He turned to hear what the woman had to say, remaining silent as she raged. His expression as she went on about his behavior was more curious, and reflective than anything else. Had be been particularly moody today? He didn't feel that he had. Of course, he often tuned out as he went over plans in his head, striking out events down to the smallest detail. It was easy for him to forget how he was coming off to people. At times like this, it wasn't at the top of his list of priorities. He smiled and shook his head. "I'm fine." He told her, in a calming voice. "Just reflecting as always, I guess. Have I really been that moody today?"

He opened the door and ushered the woman in before walking in behind her. He immediately began opening up the bags that they left in the room. In the first bag, was a small pillow, that he pulled out and put on the dresser. "Here, Simba can sleep on this. He also pulled out two envelopes before seating himself on the edge of the bed. "Be honest with me for a second." He told Ziya. "What is your overall impression of me?" He didn't know why such a thing suddenly came to his mind, but Ziya's outburst got him thinking about the way he comes off, particularly to her...

Cammy stood down the beach, away from the ruckus coming from beach goers who carefully, and wisely, stayed away from Ciaran's property which extended to the shore. The waves licked her feet as she stared out into the ocean. Exhausted, she debated on taking a nap when something eerie pricked at her neck causing her instincts to guide her eyes to a man dressed in orange among a growing crowd. Faith!

Did he not know better than to not roam areas with people in it? Especially, in his old prison outfit!

Cam didn't stop to think, she sprinted across the sand and she was thankful she had no shoes on to slow her down.

Her stomach churned upon nearing him and despite running every morning, she was out of breath after just running a few hundred feet. Faith appeared anxious and unable to comprehend his actions. The people around him were sitting down, suddenly, while others were still crowding him. There was no way to break up the mass of people, not in their state.

"Faith," she murmured into his ear as her hand cautiously caressed his cheek. "You are okay. Focus on my voice, tune out everything else. Take my hand."

Her other hand, very gently, reached out and brushed her knuckles against his, seeking acceptance.

Cam felt weak, extremely so by this point, but nothing of it showed in the way she carried herself. A battle waged in her expression as she fought to maintain her composure. It was vital for her not to convey weakness or sickness because of the onlookers watching their every move. If they had been playing Chess, the crowd would have her king backed up into a corner.

"Faith, please," she whispered, hoping to find him on the midst of the chaos.

Faith left from the back and travel down a road that would hopefully end him up at the beach. The concrete was warm, this was new to him .He was use to cold pavement that gave him chills up his spine every morning . The guards use to yell to wake him up for roll call, Faith never really saw the point if he was the only one that stayed in the level 5 section of the prison . While walking his ears pick up everything that made a sound . The seaguls , children laughing , parents talking , food cooking . It kind of remind him of his shorten childhood . His mom splashing water on him while he sat on his fathe's bold shoulders . The only thing he had left of them was the memories and the locket that he trusted Ziya with .

"Mommy why does this guy have a prison suit on ?"

"Be quiet hunny he might hear you "

The orange jump suit did stand out , he didn't have money to go buy a piece of clothing , plus he wouldn't even know how to approach that . He couldn't see, knowing his size wasn't the problem , matching would be his own downfall . He would need an women's touch to help him with "Shopping" . Faith knew he was an escape fellon but everyone else didn't need to know that he was. To make things easior he took the top portion of his jump suit off and wrap it around his wraist hiding the numbers . Then he wrap his dread in a pony tail trying to "blend in" His ebony skin reflected off the sun's rays . The baggy top that hid his fit torso was no longer in the way and awkward words started to be thrown his way.

"Hey cutie "

"Mhmmmm  he looks yummy

"I want a piece of that "

Cammy said something similar earlier but it was to Ciaran he thought to his self while trying to find this beach "Excuse me miss " he heard one of the females from afar ."Can you help me find the beach please?"

"I'll help you find something alright baby boy"the women reply . She bit her bottom lip then reply to his question . "We going there right now , we can give you and ride if you want ? Faith had a flashback about the plane ride before giving an brief answer " Noooooo, I get car sick easy , I'll perfer to walk but that you so much. " This women was relentless , as the man turn around to be on his way the cury women hug her arms around his neck and glance her hand up and down his ebony chest . "I'll walk with you then love " Faith would of said no but he didn't know where the beach was, for now he was at the women's mercy ."I would be honor then , by the way whats your name" She reply Jessica , but you can call me Jessi"

After about 10 minutes of walking they arrived to the beach . Jessi kept her word and show him to the beach . Before they part ways she drew out her phone and ask Faith for his number . Of course Faith didn't have one and told the women that so instead the women pulled out a piece of paper and and pin and wrote hers down and slip it in his pocket .. Faith was lost in thoought , he didn't know what jsut happen and how all this came about . Of if the women even know that Faith was blind . Anyway, they parted ways . Faith found an isolated location on the boadwalk where he could train in peace .

While training a large group of people started to over run the grounds he found at the time .
The waves shifted towards this direction and the surfers follow , Rude bunch of people . They shove ,bumb, even push the blind man in into the sand . He started to get scared , the sand took away his sight , the salt water stole away his sent, the multiple people conversting and yelling blind his hearing . Faith was truly blind now . He started to panic , he tried to find the board walk but the more he tried the more people push him to random direction . Then it started , Faith started to adsorb electrons from everyone around him . it couldn't be seen from the human eyes but people begin to get sick , tired, weak ,slowly falling from where they stand . The cuff where ment to stop Faith from exploding but how much could they adsorb ? They glue a bright red before the system overloaded and the cuffs submitted there will to tame him. Next half the city started to lose power on and of . The next step would be Faith glowing a brighten red and if he reach the final step this city would just be an memorie. But he only reach step 2 which was taking power from the city

Faith's fear increase as he stayed on the sand blind from every sense he had

Something about Ciaran didn't sit quite right with her. Never before had Ciaran given her such a cold shoulder and the fact that he wouldn't respond to her thank you except with a nod, completely out of character for him. This time though, she didn't feel the need to fees him. If he truly wanted to talk to her, he would.....the feeling of a small animal being placed in her arms brings her back from the dazed world she slipped into. Such a small creature with a little cone on his head. "My poor baby. When will I be able to take the cone off and bring him back to have the stitches removed?" With an almost failed attempt to console the tiny mews from her still dozing kitten. Nodding slowly as she listens to the vet, she smiles and accepts the appointment card and heads out to the car to take Simba back home so he could sleep.

"You do know that I have a half asleep kitten in my lap right? We couldn't have dropped Simba off first so that he could sleep in my room." But he simply went inside to retrieve something. With an annoyed huff, she exits the car with Simba cradled in her arms and storms inside to yell at him. He could have at least left the keys so that she could enjoy the island breeze and listen to music or something. As she grumbles to herself she catches up to him in the hall just before he gained the chance to enter the room. "What is wrong with you today? Seriously? Is there a stick up your but or did your new recruit say something to make you angry?" Standing behind him, her cheeks tint red at the apples with green eyes narrowing with anger.

Blaise hardly felt the need to summon up an excuse for the fast food. Even if she attempted to explain the stove situation, Ciaran would not listen nor care. His disapproval concerning the pizza hardly surprised her, but there was little she could do. Silently, she sidestepped and allowed Ciaran room to lead Ziya out the door. She glanced to the remaining woman in the room.

"So, you have met Ziya and survived the fleas," she muttered without much of an expression.

Blaise was not mean in her eyes, just blunt. Although, she was criticized allot by other people around her for being too cruel. They didn't know her or her past, though, and had little right to judge. What use was it to have a filter for the mouth when you still thought it?

"I'm Blaise," she introduced. "Sorry about the pizza. If you would like something else I can call it in for you."

Cam had been listening from the living room couch but hadn't made a move to join their conversation. A yawn passed from her lips as she abandoned the couch and went to her room. The bright yellow paint on the walls assaulted her eyes when she entered and closed the door behind her. Silence emitted from the four walls around her, bringing an almost deafening ring with it. How long had it been since there was nothing but quiet and just her? She couldn't recount.

Peeling away the clothes she had worn for a little bit longer than twenty-four hours, Cam stripped down to her underwear and then searched for a new attire within a walk-in closet.

After she had gotten dressed, Cam decided to take a walk on the beach and avoid people, and her phone, if only for a few moments.

She took the back door and wandered until the water met the sand. Foam bubbled on top of the rippling waves as they crashed into eachother. It was a beautiful sight but her mind was elsewhere. In the distance, she was able to hear the gardeners packing up for the day as clouds with foreboding greys stretched over the horizon. However, in the front of her mind were checklists she was mentally creating, people she needed to reach, and somewhere within the chaos, was Ciaran.

Cam shuffled her feet, tossing the sand between her toes as they rubbed together, and sighed. She was in Hawaii and she still could not enjoy herself.

A crab walked across the sand, making her jump out of her thoughts. The crab was odd looking, but of course most sea life was in her opinion. Slowly, she extended her hand with curiosity written in the high arches of her eyebrows.

The power coursed through her like tiny electric shocks dancing along her nerves. It did not hurt, at least not usually, but it always left her feeling more relaxed than before.

Timidly, she touched the crab shell and nearly fell over herself as she tried to keep up with it. Instantly, it fell over and flailed its legs. She 'hmm'ed' out loud as she pushed the energy out like a punch instead of allowing it to slowly escape. The woman's vision became impaired as a massive pain shot through her temples. Cam sat down, holding her head until the pain passed a few seconds later. Her gaze lifted to the crab which was no longer moving but deadly still.

"Okay, that does so not work with animals," she muttered beneath her breath as the tide reached her knees and carried the crab out into the ocean.

Ciaran nodded his head in response to Ziya's thanks. He didn't mind her keeping the cat. It didn't obstruct his plans in any way. But things should be done properly. When it was their turn to go back, the doctor gave Simba his immunizations, and filed his nails. He also registered the kitten to be officially Ziya's pet. No longer a stray.

Once they were finished, the Doctor put Simba in Ziya's hands, and They returned to the car. However, Ciaran didn't appear to be returning to the house. The roads would be familiar, but that was because they were headed back to the Hotel where they had stored their bags earlier. When they arrived, he parked the car and removed the keys. "I need to grab something." He told Ziya. "You can wait in the car, if you want." With that, he got out and made his way toward the hotel, and up toward their reserved room.

Sighing just a bit when the car finally comes to a stop in front of a veterinarian office, Ziya allows the small animal to squirm from her hands and happily jump into Ciaran's hands. Such a peculiar animal to take such a shine to the man who she thought wanted to get rid of him. Why had Ciaran brought them to the vet? Why did he care about such a small animal that he just met?

As the thoughts ran through her head Ziya exited the car and enter the office while looking for Ciaran and Simba. The woman took a seat next to him, she wiggled her fingers at the small bouncy kitten with a soft smile. "Thank you for not getting rid of Simba. I thought he would be a cute surprise for everyone." Giggling then pulling her finger away to stick it in her mouth. "Ouchie Simba. Don't bite me like that." Pulling her finger from her mouth, she looks at the small cut which was still bleeding.

Ciaran didn't answer Ziya's question. In fact, it was uncertain if he even heard it. He didn't look in her direction once, his eyes simply fixated on the road before him. He drove for several minutes in silence, taking several turns, as if he had been driving the streets of Hawaii for all his life. "Simba..." He repeated, as if contemplating the name for some untold reason. But he never spoke beyond that.

After about ten minutes, they arrived at a Veterinarian's office. Ciaran took the kitten from Ziya's lap, and carried it inside, and to the front desk. He sat the kitten on the desk, where it proceeded to play with his hands as he waited for the attendant, sure that Ziya would be arriving behind him soon. It didn't take long for a middle aged, blonde lady to arrive, asking how she could be of help. "Yes, we found this kitten a little while ago, and decided to adopt it. I wanted to be certain that it got all of it's immunizations squared away. After assuring Ciaran that it would be no problem, she gave him a number, and he took a seat in the waiting room, with Simba playfully bouncing around in his lap.

"And just when I thought I got away with having my kitty friend in the house, Blaise had to ruin it for me." Gathering Simba in her arms, she sits, silently pouting as her kitten tries to squirm from her lap to play with Ciaran's fingers.

"Am I in trouble for wanting a companion?" She looks over to him before flipping Simba onto his back to play with his paws. "Ciaran doesn't want to play Simba. He's much too serious and angry right now"

Ciaran's brow furrowed when Blaise announced that she was "ordering" dinner. He was in more of a mood for a real meal, than pizza, but then, there was no way for Blaire to mess up a pizza, so it was probably better that way. Speaking of which, where was Blaire? He hadn't seen her since their arrival in Hawaii.... "Yes, one guest." He told her, his eyes settling on Evelyn once more.

Ciaran smiled when Evelyn finally asked about the job she would be asked to do. She was finally ready to get down to business. He chuckled when she asked if her job would be just to sit and look pretty. "Well, as you can see," He gestured his arms to the surrounding objects and people, "I have an affinity for things that are 'pretty.' I'm sure you would fit in just swimmingly." He paused only for a second before continuing. "But I'm sure you'll be tasked with more than just that."

He reached into his pocket and pulled out a business card with his company logo on it, sliding it over toward his guest. "I'm founder and CEO of the company known as OpMax. We're opening a chain here in Hawaii starting tomorrow, and I'm going to be at the Grand opening, to cut the red Ribbon. Should you accept my offer, your job at this event, as well as many other public events, and meetings, will be to be my right hand. You'll stay by my side, investigating reporters, or anyone else who approaches me. I want you to find out what information it is they're in search of, and inform me. Let me know their angles and intentions. From a legal standpoint, you'll be able to document that you're employed as a Chief Executive Assistant at OpMax Inc. Of course, the fun stuff always happens behind the scenes, right? To compensate for more... Odd jobs you may be asked to do, you'll be placed on a 24 Hour clock, and paid at a rate of 12 dollars an hour. If my math is anything like it used to be that places you just under 6 figures a year. Sound like something you would be interested in?"

Ciaran would barely have enough time to hear Evelyn's answer, before Blaise and Ziya got into it. His eyes traveled the room to see the source of the conflict. "A cat?" He glared at Ziya, and released a heavy sigh, before rising up from the table. "Excuse me, Evelyn." He said, before grabbing his keys. "Come with me, Ziya." He said, with a slight irritation in his voice. "And bring the cat with you..."  He spoke to Blaise before leaving. "I'll be right back." He told her. "I hope you, Cammy, and Faith can entertain our guest until I return." He then got into the car, and waited for Ziya to get into the passenger seat before taking off down the road.

If it wasn’t already obvious by the questions she asked, Evelyn was only concerned about herself. If there was one thing she’s learned it’s that the only person you can completely trust is yourself—unless, of course, you were possessed by someone or something. Then you’re **** out of luck, but it didn’t seem likely with her mental awareness and strength, which she could see increasing with the training Ciaran mentioned.

Evelyn hummed in approval when Ciaran offered to let her stay for dinner, giving her head a single nod to confirm his invitation. She placed her elbow on the table, cradling her chin in her hand. “You keep mentioning a job, but you still haven’t told me exactly what it is. Sure, being on an ass-kicking team fighting for world peace is fabulous and very beauty pageant-esque, but what am I supposed to do? Stand around and look pretty,” A brow rose, as if daring him to deny the fact that she was pretty good looking, “or am I going to do some badass stuff?”

Just as she finished speaking another woman came in—the same one that set the untouched tea in front of Evelyn—and announced that dinner was ‘ordered’ and would be there soon. Ordered? Evelyn chuckled. “You’re very prim and proper. I can’t see you eating greasy pizza from a box. I’m sure you’ll look just as dashing as you always do, Ciaran,” She teased, tearing her pale eyes away from the woman to settle them on Ciaran’s, which were freaky. His red eyes definitely added to the intimidating affect he had going on, but they made him stand out too much; a beacon, signaling that he was a freak and definitely not normal. Evelyn decided she liked them.

A chuckle forms in the woman's throat as she listens to what Blaise said. "Cute little pet of my boss, if I have never met you in person, why do you not like me and how am I suppose to know that you are allergic to cats. Though it is a sad day because Simba will be staying with us." Turning to head out into the yard as Blaise walks away from her, Ziya continues on trying to find something to entertain herself without giving into the sleep that asked to claim her body.

"Hungry?" asked Blaise as she wrestled with the gas stove burner.

The many attempts to ignite the burner had all been in vain but the stubborn woman was still twisting the black knob. Three more tries later, she sighed in discontent and abandoned the pot of cold water only to retrieve a cellphone from her pocket. It was an older style of phone, flipping open at the middle to reveal a set of buttons with numbers on them. For whatever reason, she had not upgraded to any of the new phones that resembled tablets, just in a cuter, mini version.

"Two-" her eyes glanced at Ziya pointedly before correcting herself. "Three pizzas, large please. One supreme, one meat lovers and the other with only cheese." She paused, listening to the other person on the line. "No, I don't care about specials, that's what I want. And-" she stopped mid-setence when the person cut her off to read off the total bill.

Blaise sighed, irritated. "I am not finished, thank you. I also need a family sized salad with each of your dressings. Bread sticks, cheese sticks, and some fried pickles. "

She told the employee at the pizza restaurant their address and her phone number before hanging up and replacing her phone into her pocket.

"If you want something different then you will have to order it or give me the number so I can, " she said, her gaze back on the stove top.

Ziya did not get along with her, neither did Cammy. Not that she cared and at times she even enjoyed their awkward encounters. It gave her normality, something to distract her from other annoyances in her life.

With a perturbed frown, she glanced at the cat within Ziya's arms.

"Really? A cat?" she said, exasperated. "You know what allergies do to me? I swear, I'm not going to be able to breathe for weeks! Isn't Cam enough of a pet for you? I mean, goodness, all she needs is a collar and a chain."

There was more she could say on the matter but getting Ziya too pissed off did not seem like a bright idea and Ciaran would not appreciate it either.

Blaise turned her heal to Ziya and ventured into the room where Ciaran was busy speaking to a woman.

"I am sorry to disturb you, Ciaran but I just wanted to inform you that dinner has been ordered and will be arriving in a short amount of time. Will we have guests?" she asked, looking to the woman then back to Ciaran pointedly.

Slowly Ziya rose to find Simba sleeping on her chest with tiny purs. Somehow he managed to bring a smile to her face, even though he just joined the family. It turns out that what Zi truly wanted, in the deepest secret place in her heart and mind, unconditional love. Softly lifting the cat into her arms, cradled like a baby, she slowly ventures toward the kitchen where she last saw everybody, mostly because she wanted to eat something.....

It was easiest to describe Ciaran's powers as "illusions." But more specifically, his ability was to affect the nervous system of other individuals, more intensely after coming into physical contact with them. His ability of influence required a far greater amount of energy, and he preferred not to use it unless absolutely necessary. In fact, the only reason continuing to use that ability to create his mental block hadn't completely worn him out was because he didn't have to permeate the mind of another.

Evelyn's excitement at seeing his ability was understandable. He had imagined her to be quite a loner after her experiences growing up. She had probably never met another person with mutated abilities; Or rather, she had never gotten to know someone well enough to learn about their abilities.

Once he had shown Evelyn what he needed to show her, she confronted her with a question, which he answered with a very straight face. I'm simply saying that I will never be at the mercy of another person. No one, human, or mutant should be willing to accept that. I have no intention of "taking over" or colonizing humankind, but should they cast the first stone, know that I will be prepared to fight back..." His voice was stern, and unwavering. It was clear that he was dead serious. He wanted a world of peace, but if he was forced into a world of war, he intended to come out victorious.

Evelyn's next question brought a smile to the businessman's face. "The twins should have dinner prepared shortly. I'd be honored if you stayed to enjoy it with us." he looked around to see that everyone had scattered out. It seemed that the flight was finally having it's effect on them.  "And as far as what you can afford, on the salary i intend to offer you I can assure you, you'll be able to have plenty more than a meal a day, should you accept the position, that is."

Evelyn was clueless about the natures of Ciaran’s power, not to mention she didn’t even know what his ability was to begin with. Her hands clenched the arms of the chair once again as Ciaran mentioned showing her his visions, though this time it was excitement. The girl grew up being experimented on; her parents were both humans and made a point to show their distaste for having a mutant daughter. She’d grown up in the lab, spending 17 years in their confinement before she managed to sneak away and go to Hawaii, but by then she knew the nasty nature of humans and was very street smart. She did what she had to do to stay hidden and alive, nothing else mattered. Evelyn kept to herself and never went out of her way to meet new people, and because of that she never met anyone else with powers until today: Cammy, Ziya, Faith, Ciaran. They all had different powers and Evelyn was excited to witness them with her own eyes.

She could tell from his strong mental block that his power had something to do with the mind, and she wasn’t let down when the visions took over. Much like Ciaran when he saw Evelyn’s memories, the mind reader’s face remained completely blank all save for the wide, excited smile on her face and the slight twinkle in her glazed over eyes.

The room faded out and was replaced with hell; people like Evelyn and Ciaran were placed in cages, experimented on, killed. Those that were considered lucky and weren’t captured lived lives as refugees, hiding and running. Ciaran’s voice broke up the vision like a pebble tossed into the smooth surface of water; once the water settled a new world was presented, one where humans and mutants lived alongside each other in perfect harmony. It was a Golden Age; immaculate and positively delicious to look at.

After a few seconds to binge herself on such perfection, the meal was taken away. Evelyn blinked several times to focus her eyes upon Ciaran. Once more her head tilted to the side. “You mentioned that if the humans don’t accept us, we’ll simply take over. Why? Why would you even think of that? We’ll be just like them if we do that. It may seem innocent right now, but when it actually happens, people—those who are like us—will begin to think that way when they get a taste of power.” She paused, searching for the right words, before she began again. “I’m not saying that I won’t help you because I will, I just want to know if you’re actually thinking about going that far if your plan doesn’t work. In some cases, an eye for an eye isn't the best way to go." Evelyn shrugged casually, eyes locked with Ciaran’s.

“Now, back to more serious matters.”  A brow rose. “Unlike you and your little posse, I can barely afford one meal a day if I’m lucky. If you wouldn’t mind, could I get something to eat?”

Cam watched as Faith left the room and followed suit only to wander to the living area. A large screen television hung above a fire place carved into black granite and a leather sofa and matching chair and love seat sat around it. Her eyes caught the large window above the couch and she sighed. The sky looked sick, pale green with rolling black clouds, signaling the possibility of a storm. Maybe, it was time to settle down...

In one decisive movement, she plopped down on the leather sofa and curled up into a ball with her arms over her head and her knees against her chest. She smiled and fell asleep.

From his peripheral, Ciaran took notice of Ziya's gloomy mood as she made her way to her room silently. He made a mental note to check on her when he finished with his meeting. It was a wonder no one seemed sleepy, after the 13 hour flight they had taken...

This didn't stop him from noticing, however, Evelyn's actions. Closing her eyes, breathing deeply. It was a well known exercise for calming the nerves, particularly before a big performance. He wondered what she was planning.

And then it came. Flattery; So that was her chosen approach. His fingers laced before his face, covering his mouth as he listened to the woman's words, however, his smirk was still apparent in his crimson red eyes. "Wrong." He spoke up in response to the woman's question. "I actually like, and try to reward curiosity. It's an excellent trait to carry." Of course, he didn't plan to tell the woman -exactly- how he got her records, but he would give her a hint that could help her greatly, whether she ended up accepting his offer or not.  "You see, most people think that the greatest power in the world is money. Those people are mistaken. Money can achieve great things, but the true power in the world is knowledge." He chuckled as he realized how cliche the whole "Knowledge is Power" statement must have sounded. "You see, Having a surplus of cash can help you, until that cash runs out, but knowledge only grows. What you're capable of accomplishing relies on what you know, and more importantly, -who- you know..." That was the big clue, and also his answer to her question. Having friends in high places. That was how he was able to pull her record so easily.

The woman laid it on thick, however, Ciaran wasn't cursed with an ego. Only a strong knowledge of the human mind. It was safe to assume that half of Evelyn's praises were true, and the other half were given in attempts to make him feel bigger than he was, and to throw him off his game. "Persuasive..." He repeated... He couldn't help but think of his recruiting of Ziya and Faith, still less than 24 hours ago... "I suppose you could say that's true..."

She then took the conversation in a different direction. It was unexpected, but not something unmanageable. "Yes, I've read your file in detail. Three times to be exact." But in truth, it wasn't her history that interested him. It was her potential. Her power, coupled with Ziya's could be an unbreakable force! But he hadn't been informed yet, of the controversy that had occurred between the two. It would surely be a hindrance.

An inquisitive eyebrow raised as the woman made her way over to him, speaking of her experience as she took on a sudden change of attitude. Charm and charisma; They were traits that Ciaran looked for him his team members, who existed all too often in the public eye. Evelyn was proving to be more and more useful as the moments passed.  When the woman touched him, her visions would pass on to Ciaran. However, he did not have to remove his mental block in order for them to do so, because of the nature of the wall, that worked like a mirror. If she tried to penetrate his mind while showing him her story, she would see exactly what she was showing him, and nothing more.

He watched Evelyn's cutscene with a straight face. He didn't smile, nor frown. He didn't wince when she experienced pain, nor did he show signs of sympathy. When the visions ceased, and she returned to her seat, he looked at Evelyn humbly. "You're right." He told her. "Reading about it on a piece of paper is nothing like seeing it for yourself. I would say I'm sorry for your experience, but I believe everything we survive is a part of what shapes who we are. You may not be sitting here at this table with me, if not for your past, so instead I'll offer you a toast, To a future that outshines the past." He raised his tea cup in offering of his toast.

When Evelyn stated that removing her name would be difficult, the smirk returned to Ciaran's face. Every one of his associates was once on that list. He had removed all of them successfully, and no one will ever know they were there. Well, everyone except Faith, at least. Faith was a Class 5 detainee. Alerts would go off all over the world if his name was removed from the list. But Ciaran had a plan for that as well, as soon as they returned to New York. If Evelyn were to probe his mind, that thought would be made available to her.

And finally, the second million dollar question... Blood red eyes looked at the woman as he spoke. "I suppose it's time for me to show you one of my visions now... By making skin to skin contact, Evelyn had made herself fully susceptible to Ciaran's illusions. But he wouldn't need the full version, that could effect her body. He just needed her to see what he wanted her to. The table, the room, even Ciaran would fade from her vision, replaced by a nightmare of a world in which Mutated humans were less than second class citizens. They were kept in cages, and subjected to experiments far worse than the ones done on her. The ones who weren't captives, were refugees, constantly running to avoid detainment. "This is the future man wants for us." Ciaran's voice would reach the woman's ears, despite her being unable to see him. "I refuse to live in this world.

The vision suddenly shifted. To a more progressive world, where humans and mutants lived alongside eachother, went to school together, and served in politics side by side. "I want to move toward a world like this." he told her. "But even I can't always know the right thing to do or say. I want you alongside me to help ensure that this future becomes a reality. A future where we can live side by side with humans, and if humans are unable to accept us, we will be the ones to come out on top..." Then her vision would return to normal, and Ciaran would be seated as he was before. "So, interested?"

Ziya looks from one person to another before she pouts slightly and walks out of the room in the direction of her own. Everyone seemed in their own world and she was outside of it all. 'Oh well.' Sighing softly, she places Simba on her bed and sets up a small space for him in the corner next to her dresser. "This is for you. The big bed is mine. The little bed is yours, not my pillows, the little bed right here."

Slowly the woman stands and goes to play with the kitten for a bit before the small creature becomes sleepy.

Evelyn took notice of Ciaran’s smirk. Immediately she knew he had the upper hand on her; she was unable to pry into his mind—she was in his territory, completely helpless, for some unknown reason. As that fact dawned on her, she wondered if Ciaran was ever taken off guard. He came off as extremely composed and prepared; it was evident that he always had the upper hand in most, if not all, situations.

The corners of her pink lips lifted in her own smirk. Evelyn closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath as she leaned her head against the back of the chair she was sitting in. The sound of papers rustling and crinkling reached her ears; only at the sound of the sliding paper did Evelyn open her eyes. Her face immediately took on a completely blank expression. The paper had her records on it. Of course, Evelyn knew her records were floating around—she was a wanted girl after all—but the fact that Ciaran currently had a copy of it in his possession made her uneasy. Her hands tightened their grasp on the arms of the chair.

“You must be pretty powerful to be able to have a copy of that.” She mused aloud, sliding her eyes up from the paper and to Ciaran’s face. “I would ask where you got it, but I can safely assume that would be pointless, right?” A shrug rolled its way across her thin shoulders. “And I’ll be completely honest and say that I am surprised you have that. Congratulations, you’ve made your way into my head without even knowing it.” The words left her lips with a light, airy tone, and a smile appeared on her face soon after. “It’s got me completely on edge. I can tell you’re more of a… pusher. You naturally come off as a very persuasive man.” The pale blue eyes of the woman gained a slight twinkle in them and the smile widened as she leaned forward in her seat to grab the paper from the table. “I take it you’ve read the whole thing, right? You know all the little juicy details of my life; the experiments, my parents, the reason I’m in Hawaii making a living off of ten dollar fortunes even though seeing the future isn’t even my power to begin with.”

At this point Evelyn stood up from her chair, lazily making her way closer to Ciaran. “But reading about it isn’t that appealing.” Now she stopped right next to him, setting the paper down on the table with an oddly cheerful smile. “I mean, why read about it when you can just experience it for yourself?” A brow rose challengingly as she reached a small hand out to him, touching the back of his neck. If Ciaran chose to break down the mental wall, he would go through Evelyn’s life; through all of the experiments, feel every needle poke through her skin, feel every reaction she had with the steroids she was injected with, experience what it was like being born to parents who were part of the government’s attempt to eliminate all mutated beings.

While Evelyn lived a horrible life with her parents, she still gained something from all of the experiments. Her powers grew stronger; they went from being able to read immediate thoughts to being able to read memories and being able to project her own thoughts and memories into other people with little to no effort. If there was anything she would thank her parents for, it was that. She got fed up after so many experiments, and eventually ran away. Hawaii became her refuge; no one would think to look for her in Hawaii.

Ciaran was able to experience all of that, and once she was done she removed her hand from his skin and moseyed her way back to her chair and sat down. “Removing my face from that list will be extremely difficult, Ciaran, but for some odd reason I trust your abilities. However, you’ve made me extremely curious; what would a big boy like you want with a little gal like me?”

Faith's dedication to his training was commendable. However, the years of time he had been forced to neglect his powers may have caused him to grow overzealous. Ciaran feared he may hurt himself, if he didn't keep a careful eye. Luckily, he was distracted by the arrival of their companions.

The arrival of Evelyn was another step scratched off in Ciaran's playbook. He decided that the most accurate description of his initial reaction to the girl was... "Impressed." Not everyone could walk into the house of a man with a nine figure net worth and maintain an uninterested expression. Ciaran was very good at researching people. He could know their powers, blood type, occupation, and almost any other empirical data on the person. But no data could allow you to really know a person; Not like looking them in the eye could. She was strong... Or at least she knew how to play the part. Either way, it was a good sign.

Ciaran understood the woman's refusal to thank him for pulling her chair. It wasn't an attempt to intentionally be rude, but rather not to put herself in the position of a disadvantaged guest. She needed to maintain some sort of power in the situation, and pleasantries could essentially rob her of that. Especially with her inability to read him; A disadvantage that Ciaran didn't share. He may not have had the ability to read minds, but as an expert in human Psychology, he was excellent at reading body language, and faces. Even microexpressions that lasted fractions of a second rarely escaped his observation.  The tilt of her head was a signal of curiosity. She was intrigued by the prospect of being approached with what could possibly be a big move for her. If it fit her liking, of course... But the way her hands clutched the seat... That was an innate sign of nervousness; Subconsciously keeping herself grounded. She probably didn't even realize she was doing it.

Ciaran's advantage was maintained, as always. But he had no interest in competing with the woman. He was only interested in forming an alliance. And then came the million dollar question; "What's in it for me?" Ciaran smirked in response to the question. It was different from Ziya's initial inquiry, but that was to be expected. Their motivations were completely different. Ciaran picked up a folder from the seat next to him, and removed a single sheet of paper from it. He placed it on the table and slid it over to Evelyn.

Upon inspection, she would discover that the paper was her record. It contained all the essential information about her, and a recent picture. It had the names of both her parents, her address, place of employment, powers, blood type and plenty more. "For starters, I can have you completely removed from the government's extensive profile list of superpowered humans. It'll be as if you were never there. No more Big Brother watching over you..." He made to attempt to take the paper back from her, allowing it to sit in front of her face, giving her time to realize just how little privacy she had. "Of course, there are plenty of other perks as well, but I'd say that's a pretty good starting place..."

More training was needed to even get the basics down. Faith's body started to discharge sweat from the pours of his ebony skin from the relentless training he was putting himself though. The sun decided to exposes his skin to the light just before resting behind the horizon. But he wouldn't rest , at least to he either got it down or was dead . He require more air as he pushed harder and harder to test his limitation. He continue to train unit he heard two set of footsteps coming towards the two men.

One was Camys , her runway walk always seen to make the hallways echo . It's was like her grand entrance , letting everyone know that she had arrive like an A class celebrity. The other was more settle , to settle to be Ziya . Ziya had a similar walk like Camy but she didn't swing her hips as hard as Camy did with each step . Faith was about to say something to Ciaran but from his vibe he was expecting the newcomer . Confidence flush from Ciaran just before the two females enter the back yard .

"Oh my, I almost forgot " Faith quickly put his jumpsuit top back on but by then they would already seen the scars on his back . A sharp pain claim the back of his head before it went away "Odd" he thought to himself . Maybe it was a sign that he needed rest . But then again maybe it was just......

"Hey cutie how is it going " Faith didn't know who Camy was talking to , him or Ciaran . Must be Ciaran , he never got those type of jesters like that ever . After some minutes past he finally here'd the new women's nam " Evelyn ". Then Ciaran and Evelyn left leaving Faith and Camy alone .

"So still blind?"  An awkward way to start a conversation , but before Faith even got a chance to answer to question the nervous women ask, no , told him if he wanted pizza . The women on the phone had an Italian accent , a deep one in that . Camy seen to struggle to comprehend the women's words and and hung up thinking she order a pizza but really order a bag of flour. He gave the women a smile of pure innocents before speaking

" It's ok Camy, I can tell by the tone of your voice and how your body shift to an defensive stance that you don't feel confinable around me with out Ciaran or Ziya around , and it's ok I get that a lot. Hopefully one day you will feel confinable to just be yourself around me . But till then I will just stay distance so I don't make you feel you feel uneasy . "

After he said what he had to say the blind man left though the back door to the beach so he could continue his training

Her hair slowly straightens and darkens before the corner of her newly browned eyes spot the figure of Cammy. Ziya didn't want to talk, she just wanted to get this over with and have a little bit of alone time so that she may be able to avoid the conversation that will be laced with questions as to her actions. Continuing to look at clothes while waiting on the locket to be repaired at one of the kiosk shops, the woman remains silent, bending slightly to look at a pair of shorts that were on sale.

Gathering the bags and returning to the jewelry kiosk, Ziya smiles softly as she's handed a box with the now repaired locket and a gold chain adorning it now. "It's perfect, thank you so much. My friend will be so excited to have this back." Paying the man with her personal card for the repair and new chain, Ziya slips the box into one of the bags with the male clothes before heading outside in hopes that she will be able to have a calm car ride back to the house because for once, retail therapy did not do it's job.

Climbing into the back of a taxi, she gives the address to where she needed to go and they were off.....well almost. Something caught the woman's eye as she stared blankly out of the window and a quick yell caught the driver off guard but he didn't seem to mind since she told him to wait for a moment and he was able to keep the meter running. Bending to look at a young cat, not yet fully grown but not a kitten, the woman's anger and heart melts at the same time. Something about this little black and white cat with one blue and one brown eye stole her heart and she had to have him. After a quick search for a worker, she fills out the adoption paper work and gathers her new kitten in arm and heads out after buying a bag of cat food and a few toys for him.

Returning to the taxi, she smiles and holds the fidgety animal in her lap as a pleasant surprise for her house mates.....though how would Ciaran and Faith react to having a cat in the house? Frowning then shrugging off the thought, the woman sighs lightly with a smile as the juvenile cat mews. "Yes Simba, we are going home now and I think you will love all the attention you will receive from the family." Lightly rubbing between his ears, the small animal slowly starts to doze as they pull in front of the house.

Placing the new pet in her over sized purse, Ziya attempts to grab everything from the back of the taxi, only to be greeted by his voice offering to help. A small smile tugs at the right corner of her lips as she nods softly. With the assistance of the driver, they make it to the front deck of the house in one trip. She follows the man back down as he begins to descend so that he can have the proper payment. Her eyes widen a bit at the price of the ride home but with the extra stop and helping her with the bags, she didn't mind paying the higher fare. With a soft wave, the woman watches the car drive down the street before walking back up and taking the bags into the spacious living room and removes the necklace box from the bag and Simba from her purse before starting her search for Ciaran and Faith.

"At least you tried, Ciaran, at least you tried, " she joked, shaking her head slowly. "Me behave? I don't believe I put that skill on the resume."

Her eyes fell on the psychic as a smile took over her lips. The woman was withdrawn, showing that she was thoughtful and probably highly intelligent. Even more, she stood her ground with Ciaran which not allot of people could do. Very admirable. Yet, there was something she didn't trust about her, something she could not put her finger on. But, time would tell and she never judged a book by its cover.

The two, Ciaran and the psychic dismissed themselves, leaving Cam behind with Faith. Awkwardness settled in the air like a dense fog but she kept her exterior cool. She did horrible one on one with people besides Ciaran and Ziya. Ziya was her best friend and Ciaran was her boss so she always had the role of an assistant to play. Without the role and without the bond of friendship, she was out of sorts and felt like a worm dangling on a fish hook.

'Hey, you okay? If you don't hurry you are going to miss the hot gardeners in tight jeans!' she texted Ziya.

After, she put her phone in her pocket and folded her arms.

"So, how is it going?" she asked. "Still blind?"

'Still blind?'! Really? Out of everything she could say that was what she had chosen? ****, her mind spat at her.

"I mean..."

'Quick, Cam, come up with something!' she thought, wildly.

"... Pizza. Want some? Okay cool! I'll go order some person, place to make it!" she said, without giving him an opportunity to respond and dialed the number to a local restaurant.

When a woman answered, she tried to place an order but for the life of her she could not comprehend the woman due to her accent. After a few moments, she hung up.

"I think I ordered pizza but don't be surprised if someone comes to look for a chicken," she said shaking her head.

Evelyn spent the time she had while Cammy and Ziya were away thinking. It was ironic; she was a person with the ability to dig into another’s mind, yet she spent most of her time in her own. Despite popular belief, Evelyn didn’t purposefully read other’s minds; she found that it resulted in more problems than what was necessary. Sure, it can be helpful and beneficial, but most of the time it wasn’t, which is why Evelyn only ever used her power when it benefited her particular needs. After the experiences she’s had, she’s only interested in helping one person; herself. There’s no need for anyone else.

Sometime later Cammy returned to collect Evelyn so they could make their way to Ciaran, Ziya was nowhere to be seen. A curious light entered the mind reader’s eyes at this, but she wasn’t too worried. Ziya was a big girl and could handle herself. Cam, on the other hand, seemed to be experiencing some deep inner turmoil. The car ride was spent mostly in silence. Several times the cabby tried to make small talk about the weather, scenery, traffic, beautiful women – the works – but neither Cam nor Evelyn tried to keep the conversation flowing. And while Cam was deep within her thoughts and all but oblivious to the rambling driver, Evelyn found it extremely amusing. A perverted old man with a mouth that could run miles around anyone, whose primary thoughts revolved around Cammy’s nice set of **** and how well her shirt showed them off. Pretty gross, but a nice compliment nonetheless.

When the cab stopped in front of a nice looking house, Evelyn mumbled a quick thanks to the driver and slid out after Cammy so as to not get left behind. She followed the model-like blonde through the house and out to the backyard with a mind wondering why Cam looked as though she were strutting on a runway in Paris rather than the halls of a massive house. Maybe she was born with it, or maybe it was Maybelline. Who knows.

Upon entering the backyard, Evelyn noticed two things. One being it looked as though someone got a little fire happy, the other being that sparks seemed to flow off the unknown male. Literally. Evelyn took a quick look inside his head and deduced that his name was Faith. Just from that one little dip Evelyn knew that Faith was extremely innocent—and he was blind, but that’s beside the point.

In a matter of minutes Ciaran’s intimidating eyes settled on the mind reader, but she didn’t back down from his gaze, rather she met him head on with a bored expression. She nodded her head in greeting to him before she followed him back into the house and settled down in the chair he offered her, not even bothering to thank him or the woman who brought them tea. Hands remained clutching the arms of the chair as she watched Ciaran with a curious twinkle in her eyes; head tilted mere degrees to the side as she listened. His offer piqued her interest, but when she tried to enter his head to get more information she was met with a wall, one far more advanced than the one Ziya had erected. Evelyn smirked and withdrew back into her own mind.

“What’s in it for me?”

Faith's decision to try firing electricity from his feet impressed Ciaran. It showed initiative. Not only that, but it showed that he was fully capable of observing, analyzing, and coming to the best possible conclusion, even without the use of his eyes.  His training was proving to be quite destructive, however. The work was going to be busy for the next several days at this rate. It was important that he gained as much control as possible.

When Cammy showed up with Evelyn, Ciaran got to work immediately. He began the use of a technique he had been practicing since he discovered Evelyn's file. He used his power of influence on himself, making it so that his mind would only reflect his immediate thoughts, and making it impossible to dive any deeper into his mind than his present thoughts and actions. It had been a difficult technique to master. His powers had only been used to influence the minds of others, up until that point.

"Aw, and here I paid them extra to wear the tight pants just for you." He teased. He didn't overlook the fact that she called Faith "Cutie." Though he didn't say anything. His gaze instead moved from Cammy, to Faith, in attempts to gauge his reaction. It was possible the two could be into each other, though that would be an inconvenience...

Then she proceeded to try her flirting act of Ciaran himself. He smirked as he took a few steps forward, and lifted her chin with his index finger. "Behave yourself Cammy. We have a guest."

Crimson colored eyes then settled on Evelyn. With his mental barriers in place she would only be able to read him as far as his initial thoughts, which were simple. 'So this is her...' "It's a pleasure to meet you, Evelyn." He offered her a generous smile, as he ushered her back into the house, and away from the image of the back yard that had been all but burned to a crisp by Faith's training. He offered her a seat at the table, pulling out a chair for her before taking a seat himself. "I'm sure you know why I invited you here, after having that nice car ride with Cammy. Nonetheless, I want to thank you for coming." Blaise then came with tea for their guest. "I'll get right to the point. I want to offer you a job." His eyes showed that he was serious, and that he had much to discuss with her. But his mind offered only a simple thought. 'Let's get down to business'

Deciding not to waste time looking for Ziya any longer, Cam left the mall after stopping by the pyschic's shop to get her and got into a cab. The driver was courteous enough to point out the nice view the low cut top she wore gave him before pulling out of the parking lot and driving towards Ciaran's. Along the way, she debated about slapping the old driver across the back of his head for the earlier comment, but decided a wreck would be hard to explain impatient Ciaran, and she also sent Ziya a text.

'I left already. Couldn't find you. Meet you at the house.'

Her eyes lifted from the screen of her cellphone to the window view of the world. Cam didn't really see any of it as she thought back to the psychic and Ziya. Always, she had chosen work over her personal life and that was because of Ciaran. Soon, she needed to reevaluate her life and where it was headed. It bothered her to know she was so willing to put her friendship with Ziya on the back burner in order to please her boss.

Clearly, her feelings for him were a dead end road with caution signs every other step she took in that direction. She rubbed her temples and shook her head. This was silly, she could control a simple crush and she would pick Ziya any day over a job. Despite the thought, it did not console her.

A deep breath later, she exited the cab and made her way into the house after allowing the psychic the chance to follow her.

"Ciaran, " she called out just as she entered the room. "Great job on those gardeners. I mean they must be home grown, if you catch my drift. Too bad they wear tight jeans because we all know what that means. Big ego, small-"

She grinned when she saw Faith.

"Hey cutie how is it going?" She winked.

"So, learning to use your powers?" she asked with a mischievous grin. "It's always fun to see Ciaran work. Especially, when he sweats."

Dramatically, she waved her hand in front of her face.

"So hot."

With a mental sigh, she watched Ziya exit the shop. Of course, she did not blame her for being upset but it made difficult to acquire the psychic's interest. Luckily for Ciaran, in spite of everything, the psychic was willing to go back with them. Cam didn't speak as the woman replied and then left her standing there with the cash laying on the table. Her eyes drifted to the money as her ears rang in the silence. After taking a moment to collect herself, she quietly exited the shop and meandered down the mall hall, looking for Ziya.

She checked her phone for the time and sighed at it. It was barely four and already she was exhausted. Perhaps, Ciaran would cut her a break and allow her to go to bed early.

Yeah, right.

Still looking for Ziya, Cammy meandered in and out of the crowd, ignoring the faces of strangers as she went. The jewelry store came into view and gave her some hope.

Once in the shop, she didn't see Ziya at first so she took a small detour and sought out a display of necklaces. Gold, white gold, silver, titanium, and diamond stared back at her in alluring glimmers. One particular necklace caught her eye but not because its beauty, but because of the distinct marking of an eye engraved on a golden plate. It had no chain but rather just a small hole on the top that probably only thread to penetrate.

Cam yawned and moved deeper into the store, continuing her search for Ziya.

With countless efforts Faith manage to fire lightning from each one of his finger tips. He really didnt get the concept on why untill Ciaran explain it in full detail . To be able to to guide lightning from each limit would increase his arsenol . It wasn't a, what if they put shackles  on his hands, it already happen . Before Ciaran explain the next task in hand Faith focus on using his feet . It was much more harder then his fingers and took way more concentration ,sometimes red lightning would discharge from his feet . But being blind he couldn't see it but he could feel a odd feeling sometimes . But finally after almost taking the whole backyard out he manage to get the concept of streaming electricity from his feet .

He would practice some more later but the next task couldn't wait but first, he had to get more confortable . The one piece orange prison suit started to hold the heat in from all the sweating. All the female where at the mall and he didn't think Ciaran wouldn't mind if he took the top portion of his jump suit off . Faith's upper torso was expose to the light for the first time in years . The sun relfexed off the sweat form his ebony torso . His body was build from endless push-ups , sit-ups and bench pressing . Everything stood out from his chest to his abbs that layer on top of each other .But his back was another story . Faith's back contain all the pain he went through . Each scar told a story , gave him an reminder of what not to do or who to trust .

The next task was explain in full, he even made it visional so Faith would imagine how it should end up being .Faith first thought of the steps on how Ciaran just perform that move then mimic it . First he would gather elecricity from the rod to each each of his finger tips . If this was correct Faith would have more control in guiding it like mini rods then just te palm of his hand . The second step he focuse on a mark on his palm where all five rods would stream out the currents to one location . Then he attempt the task . A small ball form, he use his finger tips to keep it in place . Everything was working perfectly until the elecrical sphere started to increase in mass and scatter everywhere .

"Dammit, and I thought I would get it on the first try "

Evelyn nodded her head, listening intently to Cammy with a curious light in her eyes. It was interesting hearing her apologize for Ziya’s actions, when Ziya had no intent to apologize. Evelyn could only smile, the curiosity turning in to amusement before all emotion left her face in the next second. That was one of her special little tricks; complete control over her mind. She was able to ‘separate’ the mind from the body in varying degrees of severity: from keeping her emotions tightly confined in her head to completely severing the tie and not feeling anything inflicted upon her body. It was a useful tactic she learned during her time as a lab rat; experimented on by her very own parents on their quest to discover just how strong their ‘little girl’ could possibly be. Evelyn felt pain on a daily basis, both physical and emotional. She didn’t want them to know just how hurt she was, so she never showed it, no matter how many times they poked and prodded.

Evelyn’s attention was brought back to the present with Cammy’s words. Her face was set in a passive expression as she listened, although her mind was alight with amusement. She nodded her head in understanding. “Ciaran, I presume.” She mumbled during the break within Cammy’s speech, presenting some of the information she gleaned from her trip within Ziya’s head. Evelyn listened as Cammy spoke, but her eyes seemed glazed over as she withdrew back into her own mind. She made no attempt to tell Cammy that if she really wanted more information about Ciaran, she could simply dig for it on her own, and she made no attempt to dig for it either. Despite having the ability to uncover many things about that Ciaran character, Evelyn found herself drawn to the idea of a surprise—she absolutely adored surprises.

“I don’t think you understand that you did, in fact, ask me to enter your head by placing the money on my table, Ziya.:  Evelyn watched with a blank expression as Ziya left her shop, obviously fuming. A little spitfire, that one was, not to mention thoroughly amusing.

Cammy stood up soon after Ziya left, intending to leave with her own parting words. Evelyn’s face broke out in a genuine smile, one that touched her eyes for a second before it was gone altogether. “I am indeed interested with what Ciaran has in mind for me, but I am, however, completely uninterested in running errands with you and Ziya. I’ll meet you both outside when you’re done with them.” At this, Evelyn stood up as well. “And you can have your money back,” She said, nodding her head to the untouched money at the center of her table before she withdrew into the back of her shop.

"If you must wonder why I entered, it is because of the woman to the right of me. This was to keep her happy, was, being the key word. Now I could kindly care less than I did when we first entered. And if I would like to consult someone for my future, it will most certainly not be another person. The future is to be shaped by the one living the life, and I would prefer it to remain that way." Ziya's nature began to show as she followed the woman's movements, tilting her head to the side as she watched the twinkle fade from the woman across from her.

Once again the woman tried to dig around in Ziya's brain only to be met by a brick wall. "I do believe that I asked you to stay out of there. It is not nice to try and enter a place where you are not welcomed." Though, the psychic tried her best to cause harm to Ziya, the woman only grew a smile for the ages. "Nice trick, but the pain that you tried to cause is nothing compared to the pain that I live with on a daily basis. Though, I must state again, nice trick." Something within Ziya began to glow as she rose from her seat as the psychic turned to address Cammy, only to be angered and annoyed by the words that filled the air.

"Cam, I do not need you to apologize for my actions because they are mine to make and I do not regret them. And secondly, I do not wish to work with one who has no sense of privacy when it comes to matters of the mind, though I do wonder what our boss could want with....." Her words trailed off as she looked to the sitting women before turning to walk out. "All I have to say is that I like dealing with members of the undead more than psychics. At least they ask to enter before hand." Without another word or caring to see if her friend would follow, Ziya takes her leave on the last few words to return to her reason for coming to this place, shopping and getting the locket repaired.

Cam glanced at her friend with a subtle frown. Why Ciaran hadn't let her in on the plan, she didn't know but it certainly did not make things easier on her part. As the two went back and forth, she remained silently composed with her gaze fixated on a scratch that reached from one end of the table to the opposite end. It was growing increasingly awkward but she made no noise to intervene in fear that she would only wear the nerves of the pyscic that much more. Within the gaps of the conversation, she found her mind wandering to the do to list she needed to complete before returning back to the summer home and also, shamefully, to Ciaran. There seemed to be nothing that could distract her from him, even now.

Her gaze drifted up to the psychic when she finally turned her attention to her once again. Cam noted the carefully plastered on smile which she wore but doubted its presence was a good thing. Perhaps, Ziya would be, if she was not already, pissed at her for what she was about to say but disappointing her boss was not an option. Straightening her spine, the woman met the psychic's annoyance with an unwavering and serious gaze.

"I apologize for Ziya's outburst but I assume you already know that she has no clue as to why I am really here," she murmured, hoping to calm things down with a lowered voice. "I also apologize for my rude behavior. Your ability is far more advanced, and fascinating if I may add, than what I was led to believe. I hoped to come in and first get a reading in order to confirm that you were who I was searching for. Never, had I wished to mislead you to think that I would bluntly lie to your face, yet I suppose by hiding the real reason I have done just that."

Casually, she folded her legs and laid her hands upon her lap, allowing a few seconds to pass so that the woman could interject something if she wished.

"The reality is that I'm not here for your business but to offer a deal myself. You see, I work for a very powerful man and he is very interested in you."

She waved her hand in front of her for emphasis before continuing. "This, what you have, is very impressive but he can pull out your true potential and give you so much more. Don't get me wrong, it's not about fame, money, or anything material. No, he wants to invest his time and his work in you in order for you to achieve something much greater than ten dollars a reading can get you."

Cam gave her one last smile before standing.

"I'm not here to force or manipulate you. I'm simply here to let you know that someone else understands what it's like to be special and alone. You can come with me and speak to him, if you would like but I'm afraid, for his privacy, I cannot give any further details."

Evelyn sat silently in her chair, arms crossed over her chest. Her expression could’ve been considered blank if it weren’t for the amused twinkle in her pale blue eyes. “Fortune tellers use a variety of different methods to predict one’s future, and even then it’s nearly impossible to get exact details, surely you would know this, Ziya. Anyways, if you know what is in your future, why do you insist that I still give you a reading? It’s awfully rude of you to come into my shop and proceed to do my job for me, all the while insulting my methods of doing things.” Ziya definitely wasn’t giving Evelyn a good first impression, and she could feel herself growing annoyed rather quickly, which was a bad thing for the one annoying her. Despite the irritation she was feeling, Evelyn’s expression remained utterly blank—even the amused twinkle in her eyes dulled to a detached lull.

Evelyn’s head tilted to the side, an act of curiosity. “I must confess to a slip up earlier. You felt me in your mind, which is rather out of character for me. I can assure you that it won’t happen again…” As her sentence faded to silence, Evelyn’s eyebrows narrowed slightly, focusing. She dug deeper into Ziya’s mind, completely unnoticed this time; however instead of reading any thoughts, Evelyn’s brow twitched in irritation at Ziya’s words, which would cause Ziya to feel a horrible pain in her head. The pain, while it lasted just under three seconds, would feel like it lasted several hours to Ziya. “I don’t like your attitude, Ziya. If you don’t want to be here, then I insist that you leave.” The poisonous bite to her words paired with a gentle smile seemed to cancel out the effects of the other. Evelyn wouldn’t mind if Ziya left or not, but instead of focusing her energy on her, she turned her attention to Cammy. Her head tilted to the side innocently, the gentle smile still on her face. “Mind telling me why you’re really here? Don’t lie to me—I’ll know if you’re lying, and I’m sure you won’t like what will happen if you do lie.”

"Please remove yourself from my mind and find out the real reason through the aura exerted from our bodies, psychic." Ziya's green eyes darken as she looks over to the woman in front of her before turning her attention to her best friend. She always hated these types of things but she didn't want to disappoint Cammy, then again, the woman wouldn't sit idle and allow someone to poke around in her mind while giving vague answers to every day problems. Slowly, she shifts in her seat with her palms out stretched and she returns her full attention to the psychic, "I know that there is love in my future, I know that there is danger in my future, and I know that there is fortune in my future. Tell me something that I would not know just by looking into the way that my life is going."

"Cammy, you have the same things in your future but there will be a downfall of something in your future." The words come out almost uncaringly as the woman continues to face forward. "I would much rather go shopping or at least drop of the locket for repairs right now. I can't believe that I let you talk me into this Cammy-love." With a soft shake of her head, the woman closes her eyes and sits motionless, awaiting the touch of the psychic to see what could really be found in her future.

Ciaran watched in satisfaction as Faith improved quickly. It was amazing what a little bit of knowledge could do. Once he was content with Faith's ability to direct electricity. There was a reason he wanted him to be able to fire it from one finger. The easiest way to use an elemental ability was through the extremities; The hands or feet. But most people focused on learning to expel elemental abilities through their palms, or even their fists. To be able to individually use a power from each finger required a greater deal of control, and would eventually build up the control to fire from any part of the body. If his hands were tied up, how would he use his abilities then? Always planning ahead...

"Alright, here's your next excercise. It's going to require a much greater degree of control, so I don't anticipate you being able to grasp it quickly. But once you learn it in full, I'll be able to raise the level on yoru wristband a bit, giving you access to more of your powers." He then created an illusion before Faith's eyes, as he had done back in the prison, so that he could "see" everything around him. Ciaran then pointed toward the pole as Faith had before. "It's easy to create a current of electricity. For the most part, you just have to guide it, and it will create it's own path. He then made it appear that he was doing the same exercise that Faith had done, a current of electricity flowing toward the pole. "It's much harder to contain that electricity, and not allow it to travel." He then held his palm up, and the "electricity" formed a ball that overed above his hand. Small charges flashed around the ball, but they never traveled far from his hand. "This is your goal. You not only have to collect a mass of electricity into a small space, but you have to control it to the point that it won't move unless you will it to." Ciaran expected that it would take several weeks for Faith to fully master this technique. Electricity was one of the most unpredictable elements, unlike water, which always followed the path set for it. Ciaran backed much further away from Faith this time, as he undid his illusion. "Give it a try..."

Cam couldn't deny that she was longing to have a distraction from her crush on Ciaran. It seemed pointless and wrong since he was her boss but she couldn't help wanting him. Although, at times he appeared to see right through her. Often Cammy saw him favoring Ziya but the she knew the envy she felt was petty. Still, it bothered her.

A smile captivated her lips as Ziya agreed to the fortune telling and she nearly skipped into the shop and took a seat in front of the fortune teller.

Immediately, her smile broadened, displaying two sets of white teeth, after her name was uttered from the woman's lips. She elbowed Ziya gently with a 'told you this would be fun' wink.

"We would like you to tell us our fortunes, please, " she said, laying the money on the table between them. "Don't leave out any dirty details. "

Despite her playful nature, Cammy was really interested in this women's gift and how powerful it was. Unlike the usual fortune tellers, Cam could tell she was the real deal. She shifted into her seat and watched the female across from them.

"Do Ziya first."

Her mind was open. She didn’t read thoughts, rather she felt the minds of others. People swarmed nearby stores, and made a point to avoid her shop. Giving out ten dollar fortunes wasn’t exactly her ideal job, but one had to play to their strengths. It was easy for her. Reading minds and seeing into the future were two completely different things, but fortune tellers weren’t meant to give specific details, rather they give one a general idea about what is to come. By reading their minds and digging into their memories Evelyn is able to learn many things about people. You’re developing a crush on a coworker? Love is in your future, my dear. Your grandma is cancer and there’s a great chance she’ll die? There’s a dark cloud looming above your future, symbolizing a great loss that is soon to come. All of the information Evelyn gains from digging into their head is used to her advantage, and with that she can play to their desires.

Two presences neared her shop. Evelyn felt them. Long legs carried her to the front of her shop just as they entered. She took her seat at the table, motioning for the two ladies to take the seats on the other side. She burrowed her way into their minds, while it needed some focus for Evelyn, the two girls were completely unaware. They didn’t feel anything, and wouldn’t if Evelyn did it right—which she always did. What she needed were their names, it was enough for the time being. Once that information was located Evelyn left their minds. The faux fortune teller gave the two girls a forced smile. “Welcome, Ziya and Cammy,” she began, nodding to each as she said their names. “What have you come for?”

Ciaran did have a point , not everyone could be effected by others abilities. Some could resist other powers  and some even had the nature to negate it . So of course he would have to have a secondary just incase he met a foe that could give him a challenge . This man was always more then just one step ahead . His words where mix with power and certainty , Faith couldn't read the man all the time and it scared him in a way .

A rod and a umbrella that had a bucket of water under it.  No wonder the umbrella kept on exploding . Ciaran gave Faith a quick crash course about electricity . Fact, electricity couldn't be control . Even now the only thing that was keeping it at bay was the cuffs . Faith gave Ciaran theory a shot , he wouldnt aim at the umbrella, he would just guide it in that directs .  The currents started to flow though the water with no effects of the umbrella going up in flames . He continue to repeat it over and over till he could do it with just his finger tip

Ciaran shook off Faith's second apology with a smile, accepting the compliment. "Thank you." He said calmly. "My powers don't affect everyone the same way. I've spent all my life taking different forms of martial arts to make sure I could protect myself, should I need to. He then lead the man outside.

Once Faith had unsucessfully attempted to hit the pole several times, Ciaran decided to give him a hint. "Faith, keep this in mind. An electric current doesn't travel the same way a laser does. It won't blindly travel in the direction you point your finger. Electricity creates it's own path as it moves toward whatever it's attracted to." He then walked over to the pole, and reached up toward the umbrella part. The electricity is traveling to the umbrella because there's a pocket of water on the inside. Water attracts electricity, but so does metal. What you need to do, is focus on the target you want the current to reach, instead of the direction you want it to travel." With that, he took a seat once more, and watched to see if Faith made any improvement.

"Faith isn't that hot Cammy. He's still a little kid in an adult's body, I feel an overwhelming need to protect him for some reason." Her shoulder softly bumps into her friend's while sitting in the back of the cab, though the woman wondered why they took a cab in the first place when Ciaran handed over the car keys but she did not mind having to worry about driving and paying attention to the directions.

"I think you are just happy to have a male to distract you from your crush on the one who signs our check....." Turning, Ziya winks before sliding out of the car with a sparkling laugh. Even though the two of them tried their best to last on the flight and having to go out on a silly assignment.

The happy squeal from her best friend caused a slight drop in her heart when she figured out what it was about. "Cam....I don't want to do this....." Slowly, the woman steps into the tent and sits on the chair in front of the fortune teller. "You better be glad that I want to keep you happy Cammy....." Ziya's attention turns toward the woman in front of her with a slightly un-amused gaze.

They where at a stand still, a man in his position would need to know some t type of hand to hand combat skills just incase if he was in a situation where his people couldn't complete the task. But still that was an expert move and little people knew how to counter it . He might wasn't just the smarted person in this group but also the strongest . Something to be feared mentally and physically , Faith took note on it ." That was a good counter sir , and again I apologize , something in me just snap . I'm not use to having my guard down . Even when I'm sleep I'm aware. Jail house combat was meant to clear and end people in one swoop "

His mind couldn't rattle on that right now ,Ciaran had a task for him to perform that sound easy. .

"Just the finger tip ? shouldn't be that hard to perform " So I thought

His first attempt was a fail , The umbrella didn't even catch on fire , it blew up . Faith imagine himself looking down as the remains rained down on him .

"I didn't even but any percentage into it , sir I'm confuse "

The task seem simple in ear but as Faith tried again and again the umbrella either blew up or burn to ashes . "Stupid rod " Faith's eyes started to glare a crimson red . Then the cuff activated , They also flared a similar color . Faith then aim his hand towards the rod and nothing came out but a little shock that made the umbrella explode . He finally took a deep breath and exhale his anger and restarted his task again.

Ciaran looked down at Ziya as she went on about him being "dark and gloomy" He was somewhat disappointed. She was usually the one who understood a business mentality, even when Cammy didn't. That was one of the reasons he had chosen her. But it was clear that when the two were together, it was going to be a party. Ciaran wasn't interested in games, not when there was work to be done. Work hard now, play hard later. But then she said something that caught him off guard...

"you wouldn't be you without being overly serious......unless....."

There had never been an "unless" He was serious because he had to be. But after the night before, he was going to have to do some internal searching, and make sure that he wasn't losing touch of himself. Also, he and Ziya would have to talk. The look that he gave her was indicative of the discussion that was to come at some point soon. He nodded as she made her offer to Faith. Her initiative made him proud, however, he also felt something tugging at him. Something familiar... He then sent the women on their way. There was work to be done on all parts.

It was at that moment that Faith attempted to flip Ciaran. It was a reflex, obviously, but the CEO had reflexes as well. He quickly shifted hiis right leg, locking the crook of his knee behind Faith's, he then forced his left palm under Faith's arm, blocking off  his leverage, and locking the two men in a standoff, until Faith came to his senses and apologized. "It's fine, Faith." Ciaran said calmly. "It's a survival instinct. You just have to realize that you're safe here. You don't have to be on  your guard all the time now." He straightened his tie, before changing his mind. "Let me get changed and we'll get started."

He then headed off to his room, returning only moments later in a pair of grey sweatpants, and a black, sleeveless, V-Neck T-shirt. "I was going to set up  your training area in the basement, but I figure you're probably tired of being underground. What do you say we practice out back?" He lead Faith out to the back yard, where a large, metal umbrella pole extended from the ground. The bottom and top of the pole were wrapped in a rubbery substance. "Your first exercise is simple. All you have to do is channel an electric charge from one finger, to the metal pole." The pole would naturally attract the electricity, keeping him from accidentally firing at something else. "Your challenge is to do that without burning the umbrella at the top. For now, the Rubber will aid you in that, but as time passes, I'll remove more and more of the rubber, and you'll be expected to control it on your own." He then took a seat nearby. "Are you ready?"

It hardly surprised her when Ciaran's hardened exterior remained intact through her playful rampage. Besides, he was correct about the spa day and her carelessly spending money.

"Exactly!" she replied to Ziya. "Finally, someone understands!"

Cam smiled at Ziya but it soon faded as Faith retrieved a broken locket. It would have been beautiful if not for the wear and tear. There was a jewelry shop in the mall where they were heading. Ciaran already had an account there and they knew him quite well.

She glanced down at her wristwatch and frowned. They needed to leave quickly if they were going to make it there in time. Cammy gave a subtle indication of a nod goodbye and wandered out the door after giving Ziya a chance to catch up.

The sun glared down at them as the cab driver swerved in and out of traffic without being mindful of the speed limit. Cam checked the time again and sighed dramatically. She had jet lag and Ciaran hadn't helped her mood either.

"So, Faith," she turned to looked at Ziya with a devious grin. "He's pretty hot, especially for a blind guy. It's a bit of fresh air to have another man around that isn't so serious all the time."

Parking behind the mall, the cab allowed time for them to exit the vehicle after paying the driver. Like always, the mall was packed with tourists and locals both. It would have been difficult to navigate through the crowds to find the destination if she had not been so familiar with the place.

Before they were able to make it to the clothing stores, they passed a shipping center with a cardboard sign that read, 'TEN DOLLAR FORTUNES!'. Fishing into her pocket, she withdrew twenty dollars and grinned.

"Looks like we are getting our fortunes!" she exclaimed and then slipped into the door, taking a moment to hold the door open for her, waiting to see what her choice would be.

"Cammy, Ciaran does have a point for not trusting you with the money but I think you look awesome for the fun time with the company card. Though I think the shoes are a steal for full price and half the taxes!" A quick giggle passed the woman's lips before she turned her head toward Ciaran.

"I know you don't like our pet jokes but sometimes you need to lighten up instead of being so dark and gloomy all the time. But then again, you are a man who doesn't know how to smile at most moments where it would come in handy when not closing a business deal." A soft glare is shot at the man's face before a smile ruined it. "But then again, you wouldn't be you without being overly serious......unless....." Her words trailed off before her body turned toward Faith when he spoke.

"Thank you for your measurements." A soft but unseen nod follows her words. As he pulled out the locket, Ziya's heart broke in the slightest. The last thing he had of his mother, of his innocence, of his happiness, only to be ruined by the guards trying to rip every shred of happiness away from him. "I would not mind taking your locket in to get cleaned and repaired. It would actually be an honor to restore something that means so much to you that you would protect it with every fiber of your being." She stood there for a moment to survey his reaction and she would not leave without an answer.

Options , it was strange to have them. They actually gave him the freedom  to choose to go or not .He didn't have to ask for permission or have to be force to do something he didn't want to do . It was uneasy at first , then he made his decision not to go ."I don't mean to be rebellion but cars freak me out and people. They tend to whisper words that I can clearly hear . but thank you anyway . "  He have them a smile that could embassies the suns radiant shine . But the prison clothes wasn't negotiable, for good reason he understood why .

Ziya offer to measure him but he declined quickly ."I wear a large in shirts , a 34 waist line and a 38 in length Ma'am .My shoe size is a 10 in men. Ummm I know yall did so much for me and I really do appreciate it but I have one favor to ask . This locket my mom gave me and it has a picture of me and her on the beach when I was 7 . I  know I cant see it anymore. but still its the only think I hold left of her " He show the locket to the women. Broken in two with permitted blood stain on the outer rim where he clutch on tight every time the guards try to take it from him .  "If its  too much then I can do it myself. Matter of fact , I feel like im being a burden now , i'm sorry for asking "Faith grip the locket once more before placing it back in his pocket .

Faith started to listen to the women Cami rant about her 5% off shoes she was wearing . She tried to plead her case on how she was more responsible with money but Cairan wasn't hearing it . The proof was in the bill . Faith giggle , looking at both Ciaran and Cami even though he couldn't see them though his eyes but he like to pretend to once in a while. It made him feel normal around them . His prison clothes and there high power suits and dress. The awkward perfume Cami had on that smelled like roses and breadsticks . Ziya's vibe when she was told that she would have to be responsible for Ciaran's bank account, and Faith .

Ciaran wanted to start training ASAP. Ciaran place his hand on Faith's shoulder . It startle him and his reaction to it would be over faith shoulder and slam to the ground with his arm between Faith's armpit . Faith's base change to a serious defensive  stance . Clutching the man's arm he stared and remember where he was and quickly snap out .

"Im so sorry sir , I....I... don't know what came over me ...

Faith's hesitancy to get back into a car was understandable. But remaining in his prison clothes was not an option. "I'm afraid you'll stick out a little too much wearing your prison clothing." He told Faith. "New clothes are mandatory." He was going to recommend that the girls could pick up some new clothes for him, but before the words could even escape his lips, Ziya spoke up and offered for him, being sure even, to take his measurements first. That was the initiative he liked to see! He gave the woman an approving nod before turning back to Faith. "If you're adamant about not traveling with Cammy and Ziya, how about you stay here with me and we'll start your first training session?" He was hesitant to send those two on a shopping trip alone, but if nothing else, he trusted Ziya's business sense.

Narrow eyes shot toward Ziya when she asked about the twins, indication that he was growing tired of the "Pet" jokes. Both Ziya and Cammy had a tendency to forget who signed their paychecks. Perhaps a group training session was in order. Employees should learn when it was and wasn't acceptable to joke with their employers. "Blaire and Blaise are working on an assignment of their own right now." More accurately, Blaise was working on the assignment. Blaire was slacking off as usual. "I'm sure both local and National News are lighting up about Faith's escape by now. They'll be scanning any and all sources to get an understanding of how much information authorities have. Also, They'll be checking for any news pertaining to our "Company Retreat.""

Any information they found would be processed and put to use. It was fortunate that Blaise was so loyal. her ability had been of use to him on several occasions. In fact, it was the reason he had picked up the twins in the first place.

Crimson colored eyes settled on Cammy as she underwent her little tantrum, but he didn't grace her with a response until he was sure she was done. "Ziya will handle the money. Or did you forget the all-out spa treatment you enjoyed yesterday?" He motioned toward her newly-blonde hair. "I got the bill for that right before we got on the plane. You won't be touching any credit card of mine for a while." With that, he nodded to the women, and placed his hand on Faith's shoulder. "What do you say we get to work?"

Cam noted Ciaran's comment and simply inclined her head to show acknowledgment but she also dramatically huffed to reinforce her role as a challenging teen. With a roll of her eyes, she turned her head towards the plane window and fell silent. The sea below was endless; so it seemed. Before long, a tropical island, that really looked like one huge city, slipped into a view much too large for one plane window to completely contain.

Ziya's comment didn't go unnoticed but all Cambria did in response was purse her lips. The ploy appeared to be working however, it bothered her that other people had been assigned to first class when she had booked it privately. Once landed, she immediately drew out a galaxy s5 phone. The airline website would not accept her login or password; how odd!

Following Ziya, Cam placed her phone in her front pocket and climbed into the cab after her. It was lovely here, especially with shirtless tanned men walking on the streets. Gently, she nudged Ziya's elbow and grinned. Hawaii had a great gene pool indeed! Her eyes then trailed to Ciaran and the smile chipped away then her gaze maneuvered out the windows once more.

The entire time they were getting things arranged at the hotel and then moving to the beach house, the woman was engrossed in her phone. It was all she could do was to keep things running back home. There was already business to be discussed with Ciaran but it would all have to wait until later.

"Wait, what!?" She looked up from her phone. "No credit card? I've changed from my going shopping crazy days! Honest! See these shoes?"

With her index finger, she pointed to a pair of designer flip flops on her feet.

"Five percent off," she said holding up five fingers to reinforce the importance of the number.

"Five, " she whispered.

Cam glanced over to Ziya as if expecting her to reason with the man but she quickly gave it up and took the key he handed her.

Ziya's comment about the twins created a small smirk along her lips but she didn't comment further in fear that she was already walking a fine line with the credit card outburst.

Ciaran was more serious than not but it was difficult not to be when his life revolved around business. It was hard to read him.

"If you interested in going with us, Faith, I can go retrieve a nice outfit from Ciaran's closet for you to wear to town," she suggested, her eyes on Ciaran seeking permission.

Ziya turned her head toward Ciaran before looking to Cam and Faith. When did she get labeled the money handler? Yes, she did know how to shop without breaking the bank but she did not know why her boss trusted her over the original assistant he had. "Where are the twins Ciaran? I don't think your 'family' would be complete without your favorite pets." Deep lily coloured eyes turn toward Cam and hold a secret smile.

"If you are uncomfortable going with us Faith, you can stay behind. I will not force you do something that you do not want to do. But if I may, do you mind if I try to take your measurements? I would like you to have the option to wear something other than the jail uniform." Her voice calm and level as she stands next to him with a smile invisible to him. "If not, I will buy something that I think will fit you but that will also be optional for you to wear. I just want you to be comfortable while you are with us."

This man always took caution with me , but I guess it was to be expected . Faith listen to Ciaran explain the details about the new set of cuffs . He explain in more detail why he would have to wear these cuffs for an long period of time. In prison , while the darkness slowly strip his eye sight away he did manage to practice when the batteries on the cuffs where overcharge . Even with the prison break the trust wasn't there .

Shopping, those words never whisper in his ear sense he was a child. to have new clothes on his back would be something he would have to adjust to also . Faith Slowly grip his shirt , 42764 , the number that was branded on his shirt .The number all the guards called him and some of the inmates .Faith was the only thing he had left and the only thing he held on to . How would he feel having these torn clothes off his back . It was like a second skin to him. To be strip of flesh would hurt.

From a plane to a car , Faith slowly started to creep backwards towards the door where he was staying . His feet platted the ground so he knew where he was at all times. He hate planes but he hated cars even more . The random turning , breaking , accelerating, the honking  plus the abilitie would equal an outburst that no one was ready for . "Ummm I think I be fine with the cloths on my back , but that you anyway " .But if he had to go he hope that these new cuffs was up to the taste like Ciaran said

Once they were settled at the beach house, Ciaran immediately went to the computer located in his room. He worked the machine, completely engrossed in it for about twenty minutes before coming out with something in his hand. It was a new set of wristbands for Faith. He placed them on his wrists before taking off the old one. "These will limit your power the proper way." He tapped the one of his left wrist. "You'll be able to use your powers at will now. This band will prevent accidental outbursts like the one from your childhood. The one on the right, is an amperage limiter. It will stop you from releasing any more than a certain amount of power at once. For now, let's keep it on the lowest level, But we're going to train together while we're here, and the more control you get, the more we'll increase the level, until you can remove it all together."

"First things first." He said. While he appeared more relaxed than normal, there was still a businesslike air about him. "Cammy, Ziya."  Once both had arrived at his side, he put a key in Cambria's hand. "Faith and Ziya will be needing clothes for our stay here. Take the car out to make sure they get them. Of course, there was a reason she was the one to get the keys. Cammy was always the first to know what was going on. It was her job to take them to a particular shopping point.

He wouldn't give Cammy the Credit card though. He instead put that in Ziya's hand. She was much better when it came to managing money. A credit card in Cambria's hand was a catastrophe waiting to happen. "The two of you pick out 5 days worth of clothes. Enjoy! Of course, Ziya understood that "Enjoy" didn't mean to go wild. There was still more to do. The Twins had an assignment as well. Things were about to get interesting. It was just a matter of time...

Placing her headphones in her ears, Saidie simply walks off the plane without looking at anybody. She didn't want to stop and talk with anyone without having to have a serious reason. As she enters the light, sunglasses make their way onto her face as the soft clicking of her heels sound against the airport floor. So much commotion, so many things going on at once and seamlessly. A small smile crosses her lips before she stands at the luggage port with a soft tapping foot.

Finally, descent. Ziya's eyes stay closed as she feels the plane touch the ground and bounce slightly. She hated the feeling, almost as if she had fell within her seat without moving an inch. Without really saying anything, the woman just stands and holds her hand out for Faith to take a hold of. "Son, I'm right next to you so that I can help you safely walk off the plane." With a soft smile, she places her hand on top of his and grasps it softly. She didn't want him to be afraid, but she didn't want to seem like an over protective mother either. As she waited for her son to rise from his seat, she looks around at the other people who seemed to appear around them without a sound as they left the plane. "Seems like we had unexpected company....weird. I thought your father reserved the whole cabin for us...."

'Time for you creatures to stand still, while I reposition myself. Good luck stopping me. . .' Though he was still on the plane, the 'sleeping' man seemed to simply vanish once the flying machine was vacated. Watching the events transpire from outside their dimension, he chose to reinsert himself at a point in time which would put him in the hotel lobby. With a smirk, hidden in shadow, Gabriel was well aware of the surroundings and the proceedings; regardless of if they'd yet to happen in the timeline, or not. 'Just a matter of time, now, until you're all in my trap, my pets. . .' Making himself appear as though just some tourist, off in the background, in truth, he had a very good reason for this; not that it would truly matter if these other beings were to catch onto his sinister plot or not; it would already be too late, for them, once his plan were set into action.

Blaire had a bad feeling about what was going to go down, she sighed as her and her twin woke up early the next morning, to catch a private jet to go to some place that Ciaran had told them to go to. Blaise of course was more than eager to do all of Ciaran’s bidding that she was already up, dressed, and ready to rock and roll when Blaire had woken up. No sooner than her getting dressed were they on the private jet. Blaire kept glaring at her twin, she hated being a slave, but she would behave… If it would make Ciaran not hurt her sister. She would do anything for her sister, and once they were there, Blaise took a deep breath. She needed to clean the Beach Houseas fast as she could even though her master wasn’t due for another couple hours, she didn’t care and went about to clean the rooms that were available. Blaire launged on a couch, propping her feet on the table by it and grinned. “No use, he’s probably not coming..” Blaise ingored her twins babbling, and continued to work until he got there.

The conversing had grown old, especially after Ciaran realized that the First Class section he had paid extra to have reserved for HIS party alone, was somehow occupied by others. The airline would suffer for it's failure to comply after being paid so handsomely. Instead of speaking any further, Ciaran opted to communicate with the group using his abilities. "All will be explained when we get there." He then leaned his seat back and looked out the window for a moment. 12 hours until arrival... Naturally it had all been planned out. Ciaran had sent the twins to Hawaii much earlier in the day. hours before the prison break. They went in Ciaran's private jet, to make it appear that his party had been out of town well before the incident took place, removing Ziya and Cambria from the list of possible suspects, since their names were both on the Government list of super powered humans. Their alibi was simple. They were in Hawaii celebrating Ziya's recent promotion.

After a few moments, Ciaran dozed off, and when he awakened, they were nearing descent. And after not too long, they were on the ground, taking a cab to a nearby hotel. Ciaran stayed at the back of the group at all times, where he could keep a protective eye on everyone. Once the "family" was checked in and secured, they left their room under Ciaran's veil, and traveled to his beach house, where they could finally remain out of costume. The beach house was well suited to fit all of them. Five rooms, and three bathrooms. The twins would bunk together and everyone else would have their own room. The living room and kitchen were fully furnished and the glass sliding door in the back led directly to the beach. "Welcome to Paradise." Ciaran said, They didn't have any bags to drop off, as the bags they took on the plane were left in the hotel room, and filled with fake clothes. But clothes were easy to come by. And he, Cambria, and the Twins already had clothes in the house. Ziya and Faith were the only ones that he had to ensure were taken care of...

The Saidie's eyes dance around the cabin, taking in the sights. A family, cute but the teenagers seemed like they had too much and didn't know the actual value of a dollar, but another man, staring at the young girl for some reason. It was slightly creepy but she didn't want to comment, the flight was going to be landing on the big island soon; she would not have to see this same group of people on the flight back, much less have to worry about seeing them on the island. Placing her headphones in her purse, the woman looks out the window with a blank stare. The moment that the plane would touch down on the run way would be the moment that she turned her phone back on and got back to the matter at hand of making sure that her business was handled before making herself go on vacation. She needed this escape from her mundane life, the routines bored her almost to the brink of insanity. This, this is what she needed to feel like she was going to be doing something important, something that she could not find back home. Peace, quiet, and white beaches with the views of guys, girls, and the beautiful animal life that thrived within the ocean itself.

Sitting quietly in the back of the plane, a man in a white suit pretends to not overhear the conversation taking place. His exposed eye, of course, befalls a woman who seemed to take a sudden interest to him. 'Hmm... what's her name, I wonder...' The individual would think to himself, being sure to hide under his hat and other things; it wasn't chilly but he preferred to remain hidden when possible. Finally, the random passerby would speak her name; allowing the suited man's superhuman hearing to pick up on it. 'So.. her name is Cambria.. is it? ... Cambria... you.. will.. be... mine...' Gabriel, the "Laughing Man" would keep himself out of sight though.. For the time being; biding his time as the war within himself would swell; tearing him from good and righteous hero, and self serving supervillain mastermind. 'Yes... Cambria... Soon...' A sinister grin, worn in the shadows of the blanket and hat; making him appear as a sleeping man.

"Cambria". Interesting name I thought to myself as she explain that I didnt need to ask for permission to use the latrine. But little she knew I always had to ask for permission for everything, even to eat. Maybe one day I would break from that state of mind but for now I just wanted to use the bathroom. Finally Cross answer with a yes ,even though he wasn't a teenager he had to act like one."Damn dad , I know where the bathroom is quit babying me I'm 16 for god sake ..". But still I needed to be guided for i and blind while this plane is in the air.. Reaching the latrine I quickly threw up in the toilet .When was the last time I ate, I didnt really know , being this high in altitude must have a effect on a empty stomach.
This would be the painful part for me, washing my hands . Turning the water on  i bit my bottom lip to braise myself for the pain .I started with just a figure , nothing happen ,"That's weird " Then I place my palm, no reaction. Then thought pop in mind . The new cuffs , they must be high tech beyond military funding .. After the awkward moment I exit the bath and sat right down only to here about homework.."Homework what ???? I'm confuse , Repeat that?''

Ziya's eyes turn toward Faith as he asks permission to go to the bathroom and gives a slight nod. She didn't want to be on the plane at the moment, for once, she didn't even care that she was going to the one place that she had her heart set on for such a long time. "Stop sharing secrets with your brother. He's still the good one." Winking toward Cam, she laughs a bit and returns to the book was open in her lap. As she listens to the two boys return from the bathroom, her head turns up once again to give Ciaran her attention for a second before returning to her book. "You always want something from us. Never just a vacation with you......" Shaking her head, she decides to stay silent for the rest of the trip without looking up from her new novel.

Upon hearing Faith's request, Ciaran stood up, and walked over, placing a hand on the man's shoulder. "Alright son. Let's go." He then guided the man to the bathroom, before making his way back to speak with Cammy. He leaned forward and whispered in her ear calmly. "You know what you're doing well." He told her. "You're to a point now that I don't have to tell you what to do, because  you already know how I operate. But Faith is a different story. He can't see, so he -has- to ask, otherwise he wouldn't be able to make it on his own, especially when we're not on the ground, where he could feel his surroundings." He looked from Cambria, to Ziya, and back. "I'll need your help looking out for him, until he get's used to being free again." He then headed back to the restroom door to await Faith's exit, so that he could guide the man back to his seat.  "Listen everyone." He said once everyone was together, and the hostess had left. "We're going to be on a min-vacation here. But I still have homework for each of you to work on. I'll be expecting to see results by the time we go back home..." And with that, his eyes closed once more...

Cambria leans over and speaks into Faith's ear, calmly so as not to scare him. " Listen, first off my name is Cambria, or Glitter, whichever you prefer. Now, as long as we are in public you ought to act like a teenager which means no asking for permission and try to look bored. If you get really nervous just talk to me okay?"

My resists failed with a soft gentle hand pushing me onto the plane. Sitting down my eyes started to wonder even though I couldn't see, The ground under me was hollow . A big stomp gave my ears a visual about a quarter of the plane.. It was huge, beyond my own imagination. My fears started to expose there self's more and more with me sitting on this plane. The lights started to flicker rapidly ,then the planes power started to turn on and off randomly.

The pilot came on the intercom trying to keep his calm but even he didn't know what was going on. Then these new cuffs activated and everything just stop. It was strange in a way , not cause they where new cuff, but they didn't take no energy from him. it even kelp his discharge at bay .. Cross said something about Hawaii ,"Hawii? Ummm umm Mr Cross ca.. ca.. ca..   can I use the latrine . I mean bathroom .. Anyone with a good ear could hear the fear and sickness in his voice.

Waiting for a yes and no answer I only image being grounded and off this god damn plane .

Once everyone was secured, and the plane had taken off, Ciaran appeared to be completely at rest. For the past 24 hours, it had been all business. He had followed the schedule that Cambria had given him to a T, however, each event on that schedule had been leading up to this moment. The moment where he could lean his chair back in his seat and let out a big yawn before his eyes drifted shut. However, those who knew Ciaran knew that his guard was never completely down. If someone needed to speak with him, he was fully attentive and able to respond. In fact, he was the first to speak up. "So none of you want's to know why we're suddenly up and going to Hawaii?" First Class was much better for conversation. After all, who knew who else could be listening in?

Features to change once again, though it was easier this time since the woman resembled her in subtle ways. Ziya, now in her mid 40s but still looking like she had never had the two children trailing behind her. She was not a fan of flying but it got them where they had to go, though she did not know how Faith was going to react to the new cuffs, let alone, the new environment. There was not a fear of safety for herself or the others in her 'family' but a fear for the pilot and the other passengers. Was he going to get to the point of doing something that Ciaran was going to regret...or just something that had been expected but left to simmer for too long....

Cambria is watching Faith. Having changed into a simple T-shirt with Wally's Waffle House and a pair of short shorts and flip flops, she looked every bit the teenager but this ma was far too reserved and quiet and his halting steps were making her uneasy. With a small groan she reaches out, touches his arm, and lowers his resistance just a bit, or at least she tries to.

Once everyone was in the car, and he had taken off, Ciaran's attention settled on Faith. "I apologize for my ambiguity back ther, Mr. Alexander." He said calmly. My name can't be shared everywhere." He took a deep breath before taking the exit off to the freeway. "My name is Ciaran Cross, and as of today, We'll be working together to get your abilities under control.  When he heard Ziya's question, he handed her a folder. Inside it was a fake I.D, and a set of plane tickets. The woman in the image was middle aged, but looked quite well for her fourty-something. She had Red hair, like Ziya's, but her eyes were a honey brown. She appeared to have a tinge of hispanic flavor in her, but it couldn't be known for sure. "That's your next form." He told her. "Take it now." It wasn't long before he pulled into the airport. and when he did, he placed a new cuff on Faith, but only on his left wrist.  "The old ones will come off when we reach our destination." He told the man confidently. With that, he began his own task for this step, taking the form of a carefree father, while Faith and Cambria were given the form of teenagers. "Are you ready for Hawaii family?!" The father asked. His voice was completely different than normal. It would seem he had rehearsed this role well.  He went around to the trunk and pulled out four suitcases full of clothes that would fit the forms each of them had taken. Getting past security was as easy as before. Ciaran held onto all the family's passports, and before long, they were on a plane to Hawaii... Ciaran didn't answer any questions concerning their trip during their walk through the airport, and once they were comfortably seated in first class, he seemed quite refreshed.  He was up to something, but as usual, no one would know what until he was ready.

Sitting in an ally, a cloak over his head casting a shadow over his face, rain falling from the sky coating everything with it's coldness. A passer by bumps into Akatsuki's feet waking him from his slumber, lifting his head to looks at the man who bumped into him, his blue eyes seemed to shine due to their color. The man tossed down some change. "Sorry." Thinking he was just another homeless man, he walked away. Akatsuki sighed before getting to his feet, looking up toward the dark sky, rain drops hitting his face. "Old man..." He closed his eyes before heading off down the alleyway. It wasn't to long till the sound of garbage cans hitting the ground echoed through the alleyways, followed by a muffled scream of a women. Turning the corner Akatsuki spotted the source, two thugs were robbing a women, and mostly likely going to **** and murder her, this was what the world as come to, not even the prison he had just escaped from was this bad. One thug had a gun, the other held a knife to the womens throat as the one with the gun yanked her necklace off before dumping her pocketbook to the ground to see what was in it. "Is this all you have?" Akatsuki shock his head turning to leave but stopped as the voice of the old man echoed into his mind. 'bout time I do some good in this world.' Those were the words he spoke when he agreed to help Akatsuki.

Turning around again to look back at the two thugs he stepped towards them. "Let her go." The thug with the gun turned pointing the gun at him. "Leave if you know whats good for you kid." The one with the knife watched, but kept the knife to the womens neck. Akatsuki took a few more steps, a shot fired grazing his shoulder, he flinched slightly but kept walking towards the two. "Da ****?" A few more shots fired this time hitting Akatsuki in the chest, his movement stopped his body bent over slightly. A few seconds passed, the two thugs just kind of watched, then the sound of the metal hitting pavement broke the silence. The bullets had been pushed from his body as he stood up straight, the wounds in his chest closing. "What the ****?!" The man with the gun fired off a few more shots as Akatsuki rushed them both, his body lower to dodge most of the bullets. Once he got close enough he grabbed the wrist of the gunmen forcing him to point the gun in the air. He then brought his head back then forward to smash the face with a headbutt, this caused him to dropped the gun and hold his face with both hands falling back to his ass. Akatsuki spun on his heels, lowing his body even more so, catching the gun before it hit the ground, finishing the spun standing up right with the gun pointed at the guy who had the knife. "Last chance." The one with the knife gulped slightly dropping the knife and slowly backed away before running away, moments later the one who first had the gun got up and followed. "T-thank you...You saved mylife" Akatsuki looked at the women who thanked him, but said nothing in return, he just simply walked away.

The next morning Akatsuki was walking the streets, when he passed a newsstand when he heard what the seller had as the front page. "Hero returns to the city! Saved women from two thugs." Akatsuki stopped to see the front page had a picture of the girl he saved. 'Is she talking about me?' He shock his head slightly pushing the thought from his head, the age of the hero was dead. He pulled the hood of his cloak down slightly and continued to walk.

Fifteen years ago the world was rid of it's heroes. Fifteen years ago the world had no hope. Fifteen years ago the villains had nothing left to fear. The created heroes were just getting used to their powers, so they hid in the shadows slowly working their way into the new city the villains founded Morrigan named after Arthur's biggest threat to power. So now with their city established and corrupt cops and politicians running things. The villains believed they were finally free to do as they pleased. Their leader a true immortal being who assisted in founding the city. Was now about to face his biggest threat in over fifteen years. The created heroes had finally honed their skills enough to start to back what was rightfully theirs.
