Title: Re: Sancta Terra
Post by: Venus Mal'Nareth on July 04, 2025, 10:55:42 am
Venus was pleased.  From Orchid,  'It's not grotesque' was the highest praise she'd probably ever get! Not only that,  but she continued to drink it she wouldn't let it reach her face,  but inside she had a sense of pride.  A compliment from Orchid was a rare thing indeed.

Venus lip curled into the slightest of smiles whet Orchid insistent she shouldn't share Akkarina's secret. Emotions were kind of Venus's thing.  And there was no doubt in her mind that Orchid was excited to share some gossip! She wondered who Orchid spent her quality time with when she was home? Did she have a group of snooty friends who went around talking about how low class everything was with her? Did they go to different establishments,  throwing shade on the services,  all while absolutely enjoying them? The thought was almost enough to force a laugh past her red-tinted lips.  But she held it in.

She locked eyes with Orchid a she predictably agreed to explain everything.  She would offer her the gaze she promised,  starting now.  She followed every word without ever interrupting or asking for clarification.  Because they didn't talk often,  Orchid was probably unaware that Venus was already royalty before meeting Rina, or that she too, was part demon. She had no difficulty following and it all made perfect sense.

She thought about all the time she'd noticed the shifts in Akkarina's appearance.  She had assumed they were her version off getting doomed up our putting on makeup.  Hearing the true rain made her a bit sad.  It also made her sad that Akkarina had kept all of this from her for all these years.  But she didn't express any of it now.  Occasionally,  her eyes would fall from Orchid's, take on her body,  and met her gaze once more.

When Orchid suggested that she should stop now,  Venus wanted to object.  She wanted to tell her to keep going.  But instead she nodded in understanding.  Out was best she hear the rest from her wife anyway.

"I thank you for being forthcoming with me.  And of course,  you can enjoy my gaze as much as you like." She said with a wink.

Orchid sat crosslegged, finally allowing herself to get comfortable and letting one of her sandals slide from her foot. Her eyes lingered upon Venus as her smile faltered slightly, then returned to that full glow that Orchid had remembered. Venus was an interesting thing, indeed. She could see why Akkarina liked her so much. The scent of the tea was surprisingly delightful, maybe this girl could do something right after all. Orchid examined her nails in boredom as she awaited Venus' return with the tea. She almost regretted the attempt at small talk, nearly kicking herself for how stupid she sounded to question the woman's gaze. The thoughts evaporated when Venus returned with the drink. The scent was heavy and sweet, and the tea was warm and milky. She took a sip and was delighted by its texture and aroma; very surprising! Orchid took a moment before answering. "Well. . ." She paused, taking another sip. "It isn't grotesque.."

She nodded at Venus' reply, taking this moment to not say anything, but to enjoy her tea. However, eye gaze turned sharply toward Venus when she asked for clarification of the statement she had made earlier. The mug was removed from her lips and a genuine smile appeared in its place. She didn't know? This could be interesting. "Wait. You don't know why the twins train so much?!" She asked, her voice reaching the excitement levels of teenage girls sitting in a room spreading gossip. "Oh child, it would be very rude of me to divulge the secrets of my dear little sister, would it not?" She smirked. "I couldn't possibly do that!" She said with a very exaggerated tone and faux concern.

She took a second to wait for Venus' reaction before interjecting. "But since you insist. I guess I can tell you." This level of excitement was not something Orchid had in mind for the day. She came here for a specific reason and was now treated with this! "Let me guess, she said she needed to be strong and is obsessed with strength? Bull crap! She's so prideful, it's disgusting!"

"Let's start with the beginning." She said, sitting the tea down and leaning forward to face Venus more closely. "The twin's father was a cosmic being. I'm not talking about cosmic as in space. But an ethereal angelic being whose whole presence in this plane of existence could break reality itself. He broke the rules to be here; that's how much he loved my mother. Now, I know I'm part demon, but this is a whole other thing." She took a sip of tea to allow this information to settle in before continuing. "Anyway.." She started. "My mother is a goddess, but she is from this world. Akkarina's father isn't meant for this world. So for them to have children defies all of the laws that govern this realm and his. This shatters rules and reality. It creates a glitch." Orchid takes a deep breath, allowing the aroma of the tea to wash over her. "If the twins don't constantly train, constantly do some type of meditation or physical activity, they could quite literally be ripped apart at more than the molecular level. The trips they take together are to fully get a hold of themselves so they wouldn't have to work as hard the rest of the year they are apart. Have you noticed Akkarina's appearance varies slightly? You're her wife, I would assume you'd notice at some point. That's from trying to keep her body from ripping itself apart and phasing out of existence. She doesn't try to change her appearance, but I'm pretty sure she forgot what she originally looked like, it's just a consequence of her bodily composure." Taking a deep breath, she eyes Venus to see how she's taking this information. "Of course there's more to it, but maybe this is all you need to know for right now. Don't want to. . .Overwhelm you." She said, smirking.

Venus had only met Orchid a handful of times.  Every time has been the same.  This attrition caricature of a Royal,  failing to be subtle about her sense of superiority.  It wasn't new or surprising,  and it didn't bother Venus as much as one might expect.  She maintained a pleasant smile through it all.  Akkarina probably worth have told her to punch her lights out,  if it were anyone other than her own sister.  The thought amused Venus, making it hard for her to feel too strongly one way or another.

Her eyes narrowed slightly,  however. When Orchid made her comment about Rina's trip.  Only for a second though,  a her expression quickly reformed to a pleasant smile.

"I'll get that right away!" She said as she headed to the kitchen.  She had made a hobby of collecting the highest quality of teas. But she was certain no matter what she made,  her Sister- In-Law would act like she was being served mud. She's play along though.  No matter what she said,  she would enjoy this,  she came out with a tray revived of high tea. With sugar vibes. Honey,  milk and cream available.

"How do you like yours?" She asked happily

The question caught her off guard but also presented an opportunity. "I think it would be inappropriate to gaze at my wife's sister,  don't you?" She tapped her chin for a moment and then smirked.

"But I'd be willing to be more liberal with my gaze,  if you told me what you meant by 'keep herself held together.. "

As Orchid made her approach to her sister's abode, she was shocked to see the door open before she even set foot upon the doorstep. It was also a surprise to see that Venus had recognized her, given the Disaster Demon genes had changed her hair from a golden white to a molten lava red. However, she shouldn't be too surprised since her beauty had remained intact. As her sister in law greeted her, Orchid looked down upon the shorter woman and smiled, though it didn't reach her eyes.

Venus, being pretty attractive in her own right, never seemed to be able to acknowledge the beauty that Orchid held, and that frustrated her. Deep down there was a little resentment toward the woman, in addition to what she held toward her sister. Now, what was his name. . .Ciaran. . Yes. He at least took notice and stood in genuine awe of the beauty that stood before him. He was definitely interesting. "I didn't come here to be inundated with your constant prattle. . ." Orchid said as she took in the scenery before her, sliding her fingers along shelving and furniture as if she were a drill sergeant doing an inspection. "How. . quaint. " She mumbled under her breath.

"You know what. ." She said, trying to be as nice as possible. "I'll partake in your pleasantries." She said as she reluctantly sat upon the offered seat, as if it were layered in a coating of disgust, while crossing her legs, right over left. "Ahh.. My timing could not have been any worse, it seems. That little sister of mine has taken to the trip to keep herself held together, hmm?" Not a question, but rather a confirmation. " I guess this time could be used to better our relationship." She said, rather smugly. "I'll have some of your tea, sounds rather delightful. I do hope you use refined leaves, and not some pedestrian brew." Struggling to get comfortable, she decided to make the most of this time with Venus. "You refuse to gaze at me, why?" She asked, dumbfounded by someone who is clearly into women, not being enchanted by her beauty.

It wasn't unusual for visitors to stop by.  Calyx often visited,  hoping to see Adelaude. Ciara visited to check on Venus' wellbeing.  Even Rai would make the occasional visit! This one v unexpected,  however! Throwing on a simple red dress and heels,  Venus made her way down to answer the door.  How unusual it was,  to see Orchid of all people!

"Will isn't this a pleasant surprise! Welcome! She said as she opened the door and invited her sister-in-law inside.  If you're here for a catch up,  I'll throw on some tea! But I'm afraid of you're here for Akkarina your timing is bad.  She's off on one of her t training trips with Akkarin at the moment." She released a tiny huff.

"There's plenty of space of you want to stay and wait,  but I'll have to confess I have no idea when she'll be back."   As always.

She didn't include that part.  Venus lived a pampered life.  She seldom had time to be lonely,  even when Akkarina was out.  But being surrounded in love ones was hardly the same as being with her love.

Off in the distance, the cool and calm waters of the Eastern ocean because to roil as if coming to a vigorous boil. The boiling water then started to swirl, creating an intense whirlpool that stretched into the infinite depths of the ocean. The anomaly was soon transformed into a portal that linked Sancta Tera to Maridia, creating a path for the Queen to emerge upon Sancta Terra soil. It would take several moments however, but the entity that emerged had finally set foot upon the sandy shores of this land.

Her eyes, that usually flow through various intense aquatic colors, now primarily a blue as brilliant as the waters that she had emerged from, had landed upon the visage of the land before her. She had never been here before, but knew of it's location. "Hmm. Now where is she?" Orchid, the Queen of Maridia had asked herself as she swept some of the now Reef Red hair from her beautiful face. The hair that would remain perpetually wet due to her close connection to her lineage. Her fit body was dressed in a skin tight green and gold body suit that resembled scales. It was also adorned with ornate gems of different colors and types; a very regal custom. Her perfectly pedicured feet, nails the color of powder blue ocean water, was set in sandals that had the same gems attached to them. The colors gleamed in the sun light. Her body had a rainbow aura about her due to the inherent moisture that always accompanied her.

She set her eyes upon the mega structure in the center of the land mass and made her way there. Good thing it wasn't too far of a jaunt, otherwise the Pretty Queen would have been highly annoyed. This business of hers could not wait too long, however, since the news she needs to inform her estranged sister about is very, interesting. "Ohh, Akkarina..." She called out, her voice singsong in tone. The locals, of course, looked upon Orchid in both awe and disdain, due to her regal presence and otherworldly beauty, something she definitely prided her self on.

When Akkarina dropped to her knees Venus just looked at her for a moment, the fire in her eyes not subsiding for a moment. After several seconds, the tattoos scattered across Venus' body began to shift and converge, forming a single image just beneath her breasts. As this happened, Akkarina would suddenly find herself bound; Her hands cuffed behind her arms, a chain linking them to the ground; and a collar around her neck chains on either side, linked to walls that had suddenly appeared. There was no more water. No shower or bathroom. They appeared to be in a room that was completely empty, nothing but white walls and floor.

This was, in fact, a powerful illusion. One that tricked the mind and body into experiencing whatever it was that happened within it. Ciaran had used it on Akkarina once before. And since then, Venus had taught Akkarina how to escape it. But her demeanor suggested that to do so now would not be a good idea.

As Venus looked down at her lover, bound in chains in her **** form, and held in a more submissive position than she had ever seen her in, she couldn't help but to think how hot it was! Venus had always taken the submissive role with Akkarina, despite the fact that she didn't actually see herself as a submissive. The opportunity to dominate the Stormbringer was tempting. But despite her impulse to jump her, she remained strong, looking Akkarina dead in the eye as steam continued to rise off of her skin. She leaned down into Akkrina's face, and placed her finger on the side of her neck gently. The contact resulted in a sizzling sound, and would cause the affected area to sting just a bit. "I hope you're listening now." She said. Her voice was stern, but there was affection behind it. She removed her finger from Akkarina's flesh and stood up straight. "Why do you think you're in this position right now?" She asked calmly. Akkarina's answer would determine where things went from there.

Whatever Akkarina did or said, she had an effect on Venus. The woman's muscles tensed up, her veins throbbed with super heated liquid. Her skin turned red hot, scorching and evaporating the water that flowed over them. So much so that the water even stopped touching them completely! It was a dome of steam and crackling bubbles of boiling water. Akkarina's powers weren't as refined as her mother's; she didn't have climate and cold powers to that extent. Most of her powers involved rain and electricity. The head caused her to retract her hand from Venus' body and give her wife a glare.  Both sets of eyes locked in a heated tug of war; glowing red vs kaleidoscopic beauty.

As Venus spoke, Akkarina's head tilted. Listen? She had to think about that for a second. She thought that she always listened to Venus' wants and needs. Was it something she was missing? Then, it happened. Venus issued a command. That command was for the Queen to get down on her knees. For what? She couldn't imagine.  It was so odd for Akkarina to get on her knees for anyone, yet alone her wife. The hissing of the water around them was the only thing that disturbed the silence betwixt them. Her eyes lowered over Venus' body, down to the bottom of the tub, then back up to Venus' eyes again. She was not kidding! And, she was VERY serious. After what seemed like a multitude of minutes, Akkarina relented. With a sigh, Akkarina slowly lowered herself to her knees. Her body struggling to stay standing as if it didn't understand the mental commands it had received. She said nothing as her knees finally laid to rest. She looked up at her lover with a slight narrowing of eyes.

Akkarina had a knack for saying the wrong thing... It was due to her inability to see the big picture. It was one of her best and worst qualities! She was so focused on what was in front of her that she overlooked everything else! This was no different. Venus' fists clenched when her wife said she couldn't check on Adelaide, that she wanted to focus on them first. They were adults. They would be fine in the long run. Their daughter on the other hand, there was no telling.

Venus could feel the rage that Akkarina had started to melt away building up again. and it only got worse as Akkarina invaded her space in the shower! What was worse, she had the nerve to grab Venus by the throat, attempting to secure her dominance while claiming she was "Trying." That was the final straw! Venus' Crimson red eyes began to glow violently, reminiscent of her brother's blood red irises. Her skin temperature began to rapidly increase, to the point that the water from the shower evaporated on contact, and steam rose from any spot where Akkarina touched her. If she maintained contact, the pain would quickly become unbearable.

Once she was released, she turned to face Akkarina, her cold demeanor, and heated aura somehow making her appear taller than she actually was. "You claim you're trying, but you're not good at LISTENING!" There was nothing soft about her tone this time. in fact the boldness and authority in her voice seemed almost out of character. "If you're trying so hard, then prove it! Get on your knees!" She stood before Akkarinas taller frame unyielding as she awaited compliance. It would be unwise for the Stormbringer to disobey.

Akkarina was growing very frustrated with Venus and her refusal to see that the Maridian was TRYING. Sighing to herself, Rina straightened herself out and began to ponder what she could do. She had never been subject to a situation like this nor have she felt this way about someone before. She only knew how to fight and be a dominant figure to anyone she was around. Maybe that was the key. . . Maybe she needed to MAKE Venus listen to her. Either that, or allow Venus to vent her frustrations out on Akkarina herself. Pressing her palm against the door, Rina closed her eyes and took a very slow and deep breath. As she exhaled, the water from the shower reacted in kind; mimicking the presence of Akkarina around the neck of Venus.  "I can't do that right now. We can give her some time. But now. . We should work on. . ." Within moments of speaking, Rina's form was behind Venus - Not a physical form, but a virtual representation-. "Us."

As she finished, the form filled in and Akkarina was completely there; transporting herself from the outside of the door and into the shower. Now, just as bare as Venus, she would allow herself to be Venus' Punching bag for a while, to at least let her get the anger out of her system. But, first, Akkarina must assert her dominance. Her hand gripped the hair of Venus at the root and pulled her head back. The other hand grabbed her by the throat while applying a slight squeeze. "I don't want anything other than us to get over this bullshit. Whatever it may take for you to see that I am f u c k i n g trying here!" She said roughly and aggressively against Venus' ear before releasing her wife from under her control. "I'm F U C K I N G trying!"

Most women could escape an argument by locking themselves in the backroom and getting in the shower. Venus was not one of those women. Being surrounded in water, she may as well have still been right in front of Akkarina's face! When she heard her wife's voice, she was half tempted to transport herself somewhere else! Somewhere out of range; Somewhere void of moisture. But then something extraordinary happened!

Akkarina... Apologized! That was something that almost never happened! Venus couldn't help but feel a part of her hardened shell crack. She cursed herself for having such a weak heart. She wanted to run to her, hug her and tell her everything would be alright. But it couldn't be that easy. She would never truly learn anything that way. Just as Venus had to toughen herself up to be a proper parent for Adelaide, she now had to do the same thing in order to be a good wife to Rina. Her words echoed through the wooden door to reach their target.

"If you want to apologize to someone, maybe you should start with your daughter..." Her voice was softer than before, but still as stern as she could muster. She was never good at being angry. In fact, she had never held a grudge in her life. Even so, she understood the value of all different emotions, and the impact they could have on people. She needed to use that now. But Rina's words were slowly digging into her soul and making her weak. She beat against the wall of the shower and bowed her head beneath the streaming water, refusing to respond, no matter how badly she wished to. She would take Rina up on her offer. But only once she had fixed things with their child...

So many thoughts flowed through Akkarina's mind; like a rushing white river carrying enough forced that would cause even salmon to not be able to swim against it's current. The waters banged against the rocks of her mind and heart, eroding away the hard chunks and quickly breaking the Stormbringer down. She had never seen Venus like this; so passionate, so fiery, so. . . Angry. But was that anger? Or a deep disappointment? Which would be worse? Akkarina had fought so hard to avoid disappointing her parents and linage that she had actually disappointed the people who she means the most to; and that stung like a jellyfish. Her pursuit of power, in the grand scheme of things, proved worthless. She wanted power for all the wrong reasons. . . . She wanted to prove that she could live up to her blood line, be as strong as her mother and father. These reasons had caused her to forget the reason they were so powerful: protecting the ones that they loved. Not some selfish self service that Akkarina had been perusing.

One would think that all of these years together would cause Akkarina to see this flaw in her character and change. Hell, even Akkarin would tell her that she needed to get her act together; maybe with his talks with Venus on the rare occasion that they would meet, he absorbed more information about Venus than Akkarina did. The dark eyes slowly began to swirl back to their original colors as tears, as rare as they are, started to be born from the corners of her eyes and race down her cheeks. "I. . " She managed to mumble out before Venus began to berate her. No matter how strong Akkarina's body and mind is, her heart would forever be fragile. But this moment has shattered her heart, mind, and soul. What was the point? Why fight to be stronger when it didn't even matter when it needed to? She was born and bred to be strong. She has the blood of gods flowing through her, and because of that, fighting was thrust upon her as early as she could remember. There was no room or time for emotions.

Akkarina, for the first time in her life, hung her head as Venus scolded her and walked off. The slamming of the door caused her to jump and sigh. She stood there for a few minutes; minutes that seemed like hours. Slowly, she turned her tear streaked face up toward the bathroom door. She wanted to reach out to Venus, but she was frozen solid; stiff with regret and shame. Should she even be a queen? A goddess? A mother? A wife? With all of the training she has been breaking her self with, she failed to realize that Airika was incredibly emotional. Maybe Akkarina would learn that one day. She slowly made her way to the bathroom door, pressing her back against it and slid down in a heap. The woman hugged her knees and broke down in tears and sobs. She had never done this before; her father would berate her if she had cried. But, her mother would comfort her. What Venus had said cut deep and she couldn't bring herself to figure out with to say to Venus in response. What COULD she say? "I. . I'm sorry. . ." Was what she said, not knowing if Venus would hear her or even think that she meant it.

Giving the loud shower some thought, Akkarina channeled her voice through the falling water. "I'm sorry. . We had this argument many times over the years and it's sad that it takes this to get me to understand. All of this training can't teach me the lessons that you and our daughter could teach me. . ." She said, reluctantly rising to her feet, turning to face the door, and pressing against it. Her somber emotions causing the weather to become a gloomy mess. "I need a different kind of training, one that you have slowly tried to bestow upon me." She said as tears continued to flow with no sign of stopping. "Please. . " Another word that she had rarely, if ever, spoke in her life. "Teach me. . . Make me better. . . For you, Addie, and myself. . ." She sobbed as the words spilled out. "My lineage starts with us. Not my parents. . " She wanted to transport herself through the moisture and enter the shower with Venus, but the Maridian was stunned and didn't know what to do. This was far out of her comfort zone and area of expertise..

Venus always felt pitiful when she cried in front of Akkarina. In all the years they had known each other, she couldn't recall seeing her wife cry once. But she felt like she was crying all the time! She must have been such a burden. It was a wonder she even put up with her and her fluctuating emotions!

But Akkarina still hadn't seen the worst of it. When the story was over, and Akkarina gave her response, it wouldn't take long for it to become clear that her answer was the wrong one. Venus grew silent, before slowly looking up toward her chosen partner. Tears were still streaming down her face, but her expression no longer reflected sadness or despair, but rather a silent anger. She shook her head as she rose to her feet, and turned her back on her wife, walking over to the window as she attempted to collect herself. For several moments she just stared out at the sky, as Akkarina's rage effected the environment.

"You have some nerve..." She said, as she finally turned back to face Akkarina. Her voice was low, and despite her anger being apparent, controlled. "You leave for months at a time on your "training" trips, and no one says a thing because it's what makes you happy.  You criticize me, and Adelaide, because you feel that we don't make good choices for ourselves. I tell you everything that's happened since you left, and THAT'S your first reaction?! Let's go get him?!"

Her calm demeanor was quickly turning to a raised voice now. "You don't care how I feel about any of this. You don't even think to go see your own daughter, and see how she's dealing with it! No! You want to go chase after some loser to vent YOUR frustrations on! YOU are the one with your priorities out of order! It's all about power! How you can gain more power. Who you can exert that power over! When there's no one left to overpower, or heaven forbid, when someone overpowers you, the only people you'll have to turn to are in this house! The same people you constantly overlook!"

She took a deep breath to try to calm herself. "You missed your chance this time." she said, clearly still fuming. "That man has already been dealt with. Do you know who took care of him? Ciaran. Because unlike you, he was here when we needed him! Fat lot of good all that power did you..." She turned and walked into the bathroom, slamming the door behind her. She needed a shower before she burned everything to the ground...

Akkarina still didn't know what to make of Calyx and Addie. They seemed so good together, yet she felt that he was a distraction for her daughter. Taking a deep long breath as Venus spoke, Akkarina simply listened; not wanting to react so fast to what was being said. Something was really bothering Venus and obviously this wasn't it. In fact, simply speaking of this seemed to shift her wife's mood slightly. "Trying to cook?" Akkarina asked, her lips forming in a small grin as she pictured what type of mess that the dynamic duo could have conjured up. "I guess I'll leave them be for now.." Akkarina spoke in a hushed tone; multicolored orbs surveying the beauty who sat beside her as she continued to inform the Maridian of what happened in her absence.

At this point, the grin widened into a smile. They were training together!! Akkarina couldn't believe it! All of that pushing has finally paid off! She couldn't help her giddiness as the story progressed, but near the end, she could see where Venus' sadness spawned from. They broke up. . . That was really quick. She could respect the fact that he needed to get stronger. . . She saw a lot of herself in him now that Venus has explained the whole situation and she could do nothing but sympathize. It was good that Addie was getting on with her life, even though training her body would have been much more beneficial to her in this day and age. But, they never listen to her. "My heart goes out to him. But he is a strong child. He will be alright.." Akkarina tried her best to sooth Venus' worries, but that was all for naught.

Venus' tears made Akkarina's heart ache, but soon, she was made to understand why they were flowing. It wasn't that their child had left. It wasn't the fact Rai's family was in trouble. It was something else; something more sinister and cowardly.  The kaleidoscopic colors that always flowed so freely; dancing like rivers of light upon Akkarina's eyes suddenly stopped. The colors suddenly began to grow a deep dark blue as the story unfolded. As the silence between them fell, the mood of Akkarina was felt as thunder blasted outside, rattling the building. She stood up, hands curled into fists as she trembled. Winds whipped up outside, and even inside the room where they reside. Seeing Venus in this state drove Akkarina crazy, and just the thought of how Addie could have felt. "Where is this person?" Akkarina asked calmly, even though there was a storm brewing. Being the hot head that she was, she didn't think of consoling Venus; only revenge. "Let's go.. Take me there.." She spoke slowly and calmly while eyeing down her wife.

Venus wasn't used to Akkarina being so emotionally supportive. It wasn't that she didn't want to be there emotionally. She simply didn't know how! But her arms... Her gentle kisses, and soft voice... They were exactly what Venus needed in that moment. She didn't know if it was the long time apart that had caused this shift, but whatever it was, Venus was grateful for it! For moments that seemed like hours on end, she remained there, neither moving nor speaking. Once she had her barrings, she took a seat beside her wife.

I was at a meeting with the council. It was dragging on for hours without you there to keep them under control. When I got back, I heard a boy in the kitchen with Adelaide! I was going to bust her, but when I came in, it was Calyx!  They had made a big mess trying to cook and they were just soooo cute!" She couldn't help but to fawn over Addie and Calyx. They made the cutest little couple!

So Calyx stayed here for a while. We trained together. He's really strong to be so young! I think you would enjoy working with him! He and Addie got into a bit of mischief, and it caused a bit of tension between us because I'm not used to being the tough parent! Things were good after that. Everything was going well until They decided that they shouldn't be together. Addie got into that school that she's been dreaming about, and Calyx needed to get stronger to fill Rai's shoes. So Addie went off to school, and calyx stayed behind. But then Calyx got a message telling him that Rai had died and he had to hurry home!"

Tears were flooding down her face once more at this point. Some horrible things have been happening in Raijuta's family. And I wanted to be around to help, until Addie came home because one of her professors had tried to take advantage of her, and got her kicked out! Everything has just been falling apart!" She hid her eyes beneath her hands. It was all too much to process at once. "I just don't know what to do! I can't help anyone!" No words came after that. Only more sobs. Surely Akkarina thought her a weakling for her display. But she just couldn't help herself.

"I know. I know" Was all that Akkarina could say. She knew that these missions were always putting a strain on Venus' emotions. It was one thing that always stuck with her upon her travels. This time. . . This time was different and Akkarina knew that. Something was really bugging Venus, but she couldn't quite get what was bothering her. "I'm sorry I've been gone for so long. This was very taxing and difficult. I'm back now and I don't plan on leaving any time soon!" Akkarina tried her best to reassure her wonderful wife that all will be okay now. She knew that Venus was very emotional. "I missed you.." The Storm Mother muttered silently so that only Venus would hear; even though they were alone, she felt the need to say it in that manner.

Akkarina cupped Venus' face as the woman tried to fight back tears. The salty pools of liquid were not visible but could be felt by Akkarina and this caused her heart to drop. Slowly and lightly, Akkarina placed kisses upon her wife's forehead, cheeks, and finally her lips. Before offering her a smile and several kisses to her eyes to kiss away the tears. What Venus didn't expect, Akkarin had been teaching Akkarina to show more affection and softness; he was always that type and wanted to help Akkarina in all aspects her her own life. It was an essential part of their training as well. "So, tell me what I missed."

Venus hadn't intended to wake Akkarina. She knew that Rina's training trips were intense, and wanted to let her rest as long as possible. She should have known contact like that would be more than enough to stir her though. It always had been. Venus secretly hated that Rina was such an early riser. She wanted the feeling that other people talked about; The feeling of just laying in bed with the love of your life all day. But it was a feeling she would probably never experience.

When the Maridian Goddesses eyes opened, Venus' eyes closed, pulling back tears that she wanted desperately to hide. "You've missed so much..." She said, the tears that were no longer visible in her face, now audible in her voice. She fell to her knees and wrapped her arms around Rina's waist, burying her face in the woman's stomach. "Dammit!" She mumbled. She couldn't hold back the tears any longer and she cursed herself for it! She knew that tears weren't a sign of weakness, but she still hated crying in front of Rina. It made her feel pathetic in front of her strong, and capable wife. And what was worse, she didn't even know how to explain it all!

Akkarina must have been extremely tired; she had never slept this long nor this soundly. She was usually the one to rise early, sometimes mocking Venus internally about her ability to sleep nearly all day. The trip and training with her brother was brutal and nearly killed her, but it was needed if she were to hone in and be able to control her powers before they rip her apart. Her body was healing; slowly, yet healing faster than a normal person's would.

The kiss caused Akkarina to stir slightly and a small smile crept upon the woman's face. Her fingers danced lightly over Venus' arm as the words from her wife's mouth coherently made their way into the Maridian's ears.  "Hmmm..." She mumbled quietly, eyes fluttering open slightly. As her view came into focus, Akkarina's smile widened. She had missed her wife and thought about her every second that she was away. That was something she tried not to do, for she felt that it was a distraction. "Why. . ." Akkarina started as her gaze honed in upon Venus' face. "Why do you look so troubled, love?" She asked, grasping Venus' hand into her own while sitting up.

As expected, Adelaide was ready to run to Calyx' side as soon as the words escaped Venus' lips. Venus was a believer in love,  above all else.  There was no way she would stop her daughter from going.  But in her haste,  Adrlaide was preparing to run off without a clue where she was going! "Wait!" Venus called to her.  She walked up to her room,  and came back with an odd looking red key.

"You can't just walk into the Dragon's Den without an initiation. " she said.  "This key was made to respond to my energy,  but it may work for you. Channel your energy through it and it will take you straight to Cslyx' front door..." with that,  she let the girl go. She heard up to her room,  and planned a kiss on her sleeping wife's neck. "Things have gotten so out of hand without you..." she said under her breath.  "Please don't leave me again..." once again,  she was holding back tears.

In spite of everything, the young girl smiled at her mother's humor, knowing that there was an ounce of truth in it. Adelaide shifted in her position on the floor when Venus said that there was something that she needed to talk with her about. The urgency of in her tone stopped the tears and her brow furrowed.

Raijuta dead? Her eyes widened. As soon as she said Calyx was in a coma, Adelaide was up on her feet and shrugging in her jacket.

"I have to go mom," she murmured. The shock was evident in her expression, but she was set on getting to Calyx and she knew her mother would understand.

Adelaide gave her a swift kiss on her cheek and was out the door.

Venus' heart sank when the young girl mentioned Calyx. It was a reminder that things had been just as bad at home as it seemed they were at school. She held her child into her bosom, stroking her hair gently as she attempted to piece together the story from the fragmented bits Adelaide had offered her.

There was a problem with a professor.  That was the easy part.  But what was the problem?  It didn't take long to realize he had attempted to use her grades to blackmail her for her body!  A 16 year old girl! It took everything in her to hold back get rage and disgust at the thought.  But she managed to remain soft for her child.  She made a mental note to look into the matter later though.

Adelaide didn't explicitly say whether or not she went through with it,  but the way she referred to Calyx suggested that she changed her mindatthe last minute. Venus was thankful.  She didn't want sex ruined for Adelaide  byanexperience like that. Calyx had unknowingly  saved her! They may have broken things off, but she clearly cared deeply for the boy.  All the more reason she needed to know...

As Adelaide pulled away from her,  Venus offered a pained smile.  For some time she just sat with her,  letting her work the tears out of her system. Once she had calmed a bit,  the Crimson eyed goddess spoke. "I want you to know you have nothing to be ashamed of Adelaide." She said gently.  "Except not knocking that professors head off  his shoulders.  Rina might ground you for that..." she chuckled,  knowing that her joke could very well be true.  Her voice straightened then.  "But i need you to be strong.  I have some things to tell you and they aren't going to make things any easier for you..."

"Raijuta died after you left. It seems he died at Ember's hand." She was fighting back tears of her own as she mentioned the death of one of her only friends. Calyx rushed home when he got the news, and he and Winter were forced to make an impossible choice... Calyx has been in a coma ever since..." She hated to be the one to bring her this news. She was hoping that Calyx would awaken before she got home.  Of course,  life was never that easy.  But wroth everything that had happened to her,  she only hoped Addie could handle it...

When her mother came in, she did not even bother trying to stop the tears. It all hurt too much to try. Adelaide curled up against her mother, placing her head against her chest. The feel of her mother only made the tears become less reserved.

"Mom," she buried her face in her hands, "I failed. I lost so much for this school. I lost Calyx and..."

She did not finish the sentence. Instead, she shook her head and attempted to pull herself together, but ultimately failed. What could she do to make it right?

"There's nothing I can do," she said, finishing her thoughts out loud. "I made a mistake and it hurts."

This wasn't like the times she fell and her mother chased away the pain with a kiss. She held no power in any if it and that alone had pushed her over the edge. Adelaide had not been sure if she should confide in her mother. Not because she did not trust her, rather she did not want her to think differently of Adelaide. But she could not keep it in either. Adelaide sank lower against her in defeat.

"A professor there threatened my grade if I didn't... didn't," Adelaide stuttered, shaking her head. She looked at her mother giving her a meaningful look before explaining further. "I didn't want to lose my chance. I went to his office, but Calyx..."

Her voice ****. "The next day, he took something I had left behind to the president and told him I had bribed him. I lost everything I worked so hard for. I just couldn't, mom."

An overwhelming amount of shame and guilt pulled her out of her mother's embrace. She ran her fingers through her hair and hung her head as more tears flowed down her flushed cheeks.

(Sorry for skipping you Thena! Gotta get the kid out so we can have the house alone! ;) )

Hours passed before Venus moved from her spot. Even so, Akkarina hadn't moved an inch. It seemed her training had been particularly harsh this time. Silently sliding out of bed, Venus put on her robe and tiptoed out of her room. She had planned to go to the kitchen and fix up some food for the two of them when she heard something peculiar. No. It wasn't peculiar. She knew the sound anywhere. It was Adelaide, crying... But why was she home? The semester wasn't over yet! Without bothering to knock, she opened the door and walked in, quietly closing it behind her. "Adelaide, what are you doing here?" Her voice carried more concern than anger. She sat down on the floor next to her daughter and put her arm around her, resting her head atop Adelaide's own. "What's wrong, baby?" Love poured from her every fiber, despite their differences as of late. Of course, in the back of her mind, she knew that the news she had for the girl wouldn't make her feel any better...

Adelaide returned home carrying her luggage and whatever last bit of dignity she still maintained. The weight of the world had placed an invisible weight on her shoulders, making her slump as she walked in the door. Skin met the cool, smooth surface of oak as her hand gave the door a gentle yet firm push behind her, closing it completely. The house was not illuminated by anything but moonlight, making even the corner lamp stand seem eerie in the shadows. Adelaide tiptoed up the stairs. Wherever her moms were, she did not want to alert them of her unexpected presence. With every bit of strength left, she hoped they were asleep.

She hardly made it up the stairs before a wave of built up shame brought an onslaught of tears. Ignoring them, she hurried to her room and shut the door behind her. Throwing aside the luggage, Adelaide sat on the bedroom floor. She pressed her knees against her chest and bit down a whimper as she cried. All the pain of losing Calyx and missing out on the chance to attend a school that would have guarenteed her dream career, came out. Part of her longed for one of her mothers, but she want to have to explain to them, or worse lie, about what happened. Adelaide wept in her lap, shielding herself from the world around her with small, fragile arms that barely even blocked out her room.

With Calyx gone, the palace was empty; Adelaide at school, and the young Draconian tending to his family affairs. Venus hated being alone. But at this time, she was thankful for it. For two weeks it had enabled her to be weak without being seen.  Noone but the walls would see her tears. But she wanted them hidden, even from them. Venus made her way to one of the bathrooms and got into the shower. She didn't bathe. She just stood under the water and cried! Raijuta was her oldest friend! He was the only living person that she had known longer than Akkarina! And now he was gone! And they said that Ember was responsible! Ember and Adelaide were friends! How could sweet little Ember have done something like that? It didn't make sense! Her sobbing was drowned out by the sounds of the running water, but she still couldn't help but feel that the world could hear her.

Once the tears finally stopped flowing, Venus got out of the shower. She dried off and cleaned her face before heading back to her room, not bothering to clothe herself. Much to her surprise, she found Akkarina alseep in their bed when she arrived. Oh how she had missed her! But she couldn't bring herself to get excited! She didn't bother trying to wake her. Instead, she climbed into the bed, wrapped her arms around her wife, and dug her face in between the woman's shoulderblades, hoping the tears wouldn't start flowing again...

It's been days since Akkarina had been home; the thought of how much Venus would be worried and or upset that she had been gone so long lingered in the Maridian's mind as she headed her way back to their home. The trip to see Akkarin was refreshing; it had been so long since she had seen her twin brother. He had changed so much, yet remained the same in many ways. The training was so intense that it had left Akkarina bruised and sore. Her body was surrounded with clouds, aided by splintering lightning as her power was growing. With a deep sigh, Akkarina picked up the pace to head home so she could get back to Venus and her daughter, who undoubtedly hasn't trained one bit since she had been away. It was a legacy for their family to try to become the strongest in the universe. How would Airika feel if her granddaughter was just a pretty face with no substance. Rina scoffed at the thought. Adel was her own woman now and it seemed the bloodline thinned with this one, but Akkarina loved her regardless and would do whatever she needed to protect her little girl. Even though she was hard on the child and seemed cold and heartless at times.

Rina's energy finally dissipated as she returned to her home. It was so quiet; unlike Venus and Adel to be so quiet in the house. She would worry about that later, all she cared about now was plopping down her her bed and relaxing her body for a few hours; she knew that she had deserved it. As she made her way to the room, the woman threw her clothes off while jumping on the be. With a long sigh to herself, Akkarina had drifted into a soft sleep. The peace was comforting, yet strange. She would enjoy this while it lasts as she recuperates.

Calyx was flying! Not in a sense that he was using his wings, but in reference to the speed in which he traveled. He was searching desperately for Imperfect! After the news he had just received, he didn’t have time for these games of Hide and Seek! Finally, her energy signal became detectable! She was… On top of the church! Normally, that would have been incredibly embarrassing but at the current moment none of that mattered. He landed in front of her, not bothering to retract his wings. Normally Imperfect would greet him with hugs and kisses but the urgency in his face made it clear there was no time for that. “Dad’s dead!” He said, with no care for the way the words were delivered. “They say Ember did it! We have to go now!”

The girl groaned as morning light flooded into the window and onto her sensitive, tired eyes. She stretched, trying to work out the kinks that had formed in her neck after sleeping at an odd angle. Remembering the night before, she immediately wished she had slept for another hundred years. With a sigh, she got up and showered and put on new clothes. Also, she took the initiative to straighten her hair and put on a little makeup. It may not fix the issues, but it certainly wouldn't hurt.

On the way out of the door, she noticed the note Calyx had left. Fearing the worse, her hands trembled as she picked it up and read it. Relief came crashing down on her like spring rain as she read it. Then, she folded it neatly and preserved it in one of her favorite books kept on a high shelf in her room.

From there, she went in search of him. She first checked his room.  Knocking lightly, her head poked around the door as a soft 'hello' emitted from her lips.

The woman standing before Calyx was not the same woman that was on that roof! Sure she looked the same. She was definitely as hot! But she was different. Mature… Regal… Far more attractive in that sense. This was what he always wanted from Marie… He nodded his head in acceptance of her apology. “I understand.” He said. His eyes lit up as she allowed him to go talk to Adelaide. “Thank you!” he said in a hushed voice before hurrying down the hall. He knocked on her door, several times, but she never came to answer. After figuring she fell asleep, he left a note under her door. ::Came by to see you. Guess we’ll talk in the morning. –Calyx :: With that he went to his own room. Surely, his dreams that night, would involve SOMEONE who lived in this palace!

Venus had finished her shower and was still a little on end. She wandered around her room, wishing Akkarina was around to settle her nerves. She was prepared to handle things the old fashioned way, when she came to the door, clad in a silk robe. She opened the door to see Calyx on the other side. She listened to his apology and smiled tenderly. She knew he was lying to protect Adelaide. This was just the kind of thing she would do. But she had to admire him for trying. “You’re a sweet boy, Calyx.” She said softly. “But it’s not your job to protect Adelaide, it’s mine. I always try to avoid being too hard on her, but tonight I made the wrong move. And for that –I- owe –you- an apology. I put you in a difficult position back there. And I don’t want it to interfere with anything you and she may be working on building.” It was amazing how quickly she shifted from child to adult. “I know I said for you to stay in your rooms. But you can go talk to her, as long as you promise not to get too handsy. Or..” She looked him up and down “Any other body part-y” With that, she gave him a wink, and closed the door.

And just like that, it was over. Calyx tried to see the situation from both points of view; Venus, who had tried to avoid having to openly discipline Adelaide, and Adelaide, who reacted as most anyone would when she felt her territory had been invaded. Hm… Her territory. He wouldn’t mention it, but Calyx liked the sound of that. Though he walked back to the Palace with his head down, there was a slight grin on his face.

Calyx remained in his room as instructed. But no matter how he tried, he couldn’t sleep. He tossed and turned, thinking of Adelaide, and how things played out. He needed to talk to her! But he hadn’t mastered telepathy. He could very well send a message to the Chinese food he never got to eat instead of his intended recipient. He couldn’t sneak to her room either. Surely nothing good would come of that! So he went with the next best thing. He got up, and made his way to Venus’ room.

He knocked on the door, and waited patiently for it to open. When it did, he began speaking. “I wanted to apologize” He said, unable to look the woman in the eye after the events that had just transpired. “It was my idea to go out. I figured I could create a loophole since you said no late night visits. It was my fault. Not Adelaide’s.” He figured she would be easier on him than Adelaide, so maybe this would get her off the hook. “You invited me to stay here as a guest and I took advantage of your kindness. My father would be ashamed.”

She should feel victorious, angry, or giddy. But she had a sinking feeling in her gut of guilt and shame. Why had she let her mother get to her so? It had been so out of character to be so impulsive and bold. By the look of Calyx, he was not all that happy being put in the situation either. Just as quickly as it had began, she felt the chance of them being together someday just as quickly vanish. All because she acted on her anger and jealousy.

She did not have it in her to apologize to either of them. It was one thing for her mother to act out, another for her to act like her mother. With her eyes downcast, she returned back to the palace and locked her bedroom door behind her. There was no use in trying to sneak out again. So, she did as she always did when she was stressed, throw herself into school work.

But first, she checked her emails and found that one was an acceptance notification from no other than Harvard whichwas one of the just prestigious schools out there. She was amazed that they were even able to transfer all classes and credits.

With a sigh, she exited the email, doubting she would go.

After a few hours, she fell asleep at her desk with her head prompted up with an open book.

Venus understood why Calyx attempted to avoid kissing her back. He was such a sweet boy! He really cared about how Adelaide felt! She forced a reaction from him anyway though, purely out of instinct. She hoped Adelaide would take note of how hard he tried for her. She really hoped she hadn’t ruined any chance for the two in the future, and for that reason, a part of her regretted her actions. But Venus didn’t know how to be hard of Adelaide like Akkarina. She had her own way of doing things.

Her eyebrow raised when she witnessed Adelaide’s response though. She was really going in! Venus had to admit, she was impressed! For a girl with only two kisses under her belt, she had good instincts! Venus had to fight her competitive nature. She knew tricks that Adelaide wouldn’t dare speak of, let alone attempt. But it would be petty to compete with her own daughter. Besides, Akkarina wouldn’t be happy about Venus getting freaky with their daughter’s boyfriend. Any more and the three would end up having a threesome on the roof of the church! Which… Sounded really HOT! Oh God… Now she needed a cold shower… She needed to get control of the situation. Which meant she had to toughen up. When Adelaide asked her question, Calyx didn’t speak, but she did. “Mom is right here and she’s saying get back to the Palace NOW!” Crimson eyes took on a hellish glow as she looked down at the younger blend of herself, and the love of her life. She offered Calyx an apologetic look, before marching both of them back to the house. When they arrived, she sent both of them to their respective rooms and dared either of them to come out before morning. She then headed to her own room. She had a date with some cold water…

Hazel eyes widened when Calyx heard Venus’ voice. He knew they would get caught but not this soon! And definitely not with this timing! It was like she had a kiss radar! She wasn’t as kind this time as she had been the first though, digging into Adelaide in a way that made him wish she would just get angry like a normal parent. And then she said the unthinkable! “Here, watch this.” Was she about to… Calyx heart stopped as the flawless creature approached him. He resolved himself not to kiss her back. He thought it would work. He didn’t pucker, even when she inhaled, pulling his lips closer to hers. But when she moaned, her lips vibrated against his own, forcing a small pucker in response. When she backed away, he appeared dizzy, because he was! He felt lightheaded, almost as if his legs would give way. But he quickly regained his composure.

Adelaide’s expression was fearstriking! What was even scarier, though, were the rapidly approaching storm clouds! Was this what happened when she got angry? He started to retreat, but what happened next was beyond belief! Instead of backing down, Adelaide stepped before Calyx, and practically rammed her face into his! She kissed him with more intensity, and fervor than he possibly could have expected, her tongue exploring his in a way that made goosebumps rise on his skin! But he knew this passion wasn’t reserved for him. It was truly the manifestation of the anger intended for Venus. He was caught in the middle of a mother-daughter feud like he couldn’t believe! When her fingers brushed the small of his back, Calyx knew she was serious! This wasn’t over… But honestly, he couldn’t help but want to get away before it got out of hand.

When she broke the kiss, he exhaled heavily, revealing that he had held his breath throughout the whole ordeal! How did this happen? Just a little while ago he was failing at baking a cake and now an extremely hot mother and daughter were having a makeout contest with him as the dummy? It was a fantasy for most guys, but he couldn’t help but wonder what kind of impact it would have on whatever it was that he and Adelaide were building. When she asked her question, words were unable to form in response. The two had put him in an incredibly awkward situation…

Calyx's comment made her blush and glance away. He managed to awaken feelings within her that she had not realized could be so tempting.

Unlike the first time, she was more prepared for the kiss. Timidly, but purposefully, her lips greeted his. The confidence that he radiated made her knees weak and her mind delightfully foggy.

 “You call that a kiss?”

She was so taken aback by her mother's sudden presence that she nearly tripped over her feet as she backed away from Calyx.

"Mom?"

And then, the unexplainable happened. Her mother kissed Calyx! Dark storm clouds rolled in at an alarming speed as lightning illuminated the cathedral. Whatever innocence that had clung to Adelaide's features, had been replaced with a murderous expression.

When the kiss was broken, Adelaide glared her mother down. The storm slowly faded, however and her expression transformed into determination. She stepped between the two, blocking his sight of her mother, and placed a hand on the back of his head and then she pulled him closer.

The kiss did not progress. It started out strong and passionate, without wasting time by easing into it. Her one hand laid splayed on the crook of his neck near the collar bone while the other cupped his cheek. There was no teasing in the way her tongue rolled against his or the nips at his lower lip, only silent promises for later on.

As her kiss neared its end, she took a risk and dropped her hand to the small of his back and lifted his shirt enough so that her fingers could brush against the skin hidden there.

Then, her lips left his with a subtle wet 'popping' sound and she looked up at him, then her mother.

"Where's mom again?" she asked, the rage from earlier returning.

“You call that a kiss?” Venus’ voice would ring from behind the kids, undoubtedly causing an abrupt end to their moment. Now free of her form fitting red dress, she donned a red and black sweater and blue jeans that did little more than the dress to conceal her figure. If nothing else, it was warmer though.  “If you’re –my- daughter, you have to put more feeling into it than that!” she teased. “Here, watch this.” As if it was perfectly normal, she walked over and bent down. Her lips lingered before Calyx’ for just a moment, before pressing against them with fervor! She inhaled deeply as she kissed him, causing their bodies to rise slowly throughout the kiss. A low, near inaudible moan  emitted from her lips before she broke the kiss. There was no tongue. She figured that was a bit much. After all, the point was to

Calyx chuckled to himself when Adelaide clung to him. He had never figured she might be afraid of heights, considering she was a creature of power that most likely rivaled his own. It was cute in it’s own way. “It’s alright.” He told her. “I got you.” Once she was comfortable, he would seat himself with her.

He was unsure what to think of her silence as he spoke, a plague that only escalated when she suddenly burst into laughter, causing him to turn to face her once more. But her question explained a lot. She had no idea how attractive she really was! She had probably spent her entire life comparing herself to Venus and Akkarina, which wouldn’t’ do wonders for ANY girl’s self esteem! “Have you seen me?” The look in his eyes was something akin to enchantment as he stared directly into Adelaides eyes. “Not nearly as much as I’d like to…”

It was then that Adelaide pulled a strange coin from her pocket and handed it to Calyx. He examined it as she explained that it was her “good luck coin.” He looked up as she explained the rules behind the coin, and mirrored her smile. “Well in that case, I think I’ll start now.” Once more, his lips pressed against hers, with more confidence than the first time.

She jumped when he unveiled a pair of golden wings longer than the span of her own arms. Unapologetically, he grabbed her by the waist and flew upwards. In the midst of his splendor and her rapid heartbeat, she vaguely recalled a deep rooted fear of heights. When he set her down, she did not immediately let go. Rather she clung to him unsteadily for an awkward moment while she mentally screamed for her muscles to move. She exhaled then released him.

He wouldn't even meet her gaze as he focused on the distance. It was then she knew he regretted the kiss. What was worse he continued to apologize.

But then he mentioned her having a possible relationship and she could not contain a bubble of laughter.

"Have you seen me?" she asked incredulously. Not that she was not pretty. She knew that her looks were passable, but she was not the type men around often went for. She spent top much time in books.

She did not continue the thought as she studied him. Pursing her lips, she looked to where he was looking and saw a grand full view of the kingdom.

"Here," she murmured, fishing something out of her pocket. She pulled out a small gold coin and held it out to him. "This is my good luck coin."

Adelaide did not believe in luck, but she enjoyed the thought behind it nonetheless.

"For as long as you have this, you are always allowed to kiss me. Deal?" she asked, with a mischeivous grin growing on her lips.

Calyx didn't hesitate to take Adelaide's hand and follow her out into the town.  The best thing about his travels had always been seeing different towns and their various architectures and this kingdom was definitely one of his favorites.  He paused as they approached the cathedral, staring up at one of the angel statues. It reminded him of his mother,  and filled him with a somber feeling.  He spent so much time in the Dragons Den siding Draconian culture,  it was easy to forget that he was half angel.

When he snapped out of it,  he saw that Adelaide was on the other side of the gate!  Eyes wide,  he slid through and followed her through.  But when she unlocked the door,  he shook his head. Instead of venturing into the sanctuary,  he wrapped an arm around the girl's waist,  and golden scaled wins sprouted from his back.  He then flew the two of them up to the roof,  overlooking the kingdom,  and took a seat.  "Listen,  about earlier..." he said.  " i wanted to apologize.  I had no right kiss you out of nowhere like that.  You could have a boyfriend or anything and i would have no idea.  Sorry..." he looked out onto the kingdom as he spoke, embarrassed to look her in the eye. He was glad she invited him out.  He may not have gotten the chance to address this otherwise...

Adelaide grinned at his question. "No, but it's worth the risk."

With that, she took his hand, guiding him down the hall and back into the kitchen. Hurriedly, she packed up the chinese along with a few bottles of water and headed out the door. Once outside, she led him off of the palace grounds and downtown where only streetlamps greeted them with their yellow glow.

Carrying the bag of food on her arm, she used the free one to hold his hand.

"I have something I think you will like," she told him, taking them down the street toward an old cathedral.

The cathedral had mid-sixteen century architecture, but with Gothic windows. It towered over them as they neared it. Although beautiful, the solemn statues of angels placed on the columns of stone along the staircase gave it all a coldness that filled most of its visitors with a sense of foreboding.

She slid in between the locked gates, having enough slack on the chain to slid through. Then, she waited for him. Considering he had a smaller waist and bust than her, he should have no issues sneaking through.

Adelaide knew how it must look, sneaking into a church and all in the middle of the night. But it simply would not have been enough fun to get the hidden spare key beneath the rock to his left and open the church that her mothers owned.

At least this way, they both could feel some excitement without really breaking any rules.

Adelaide's dramatic reaction when her mother came around the corner did nothing to make this situation look better.  But Calyx couldn't do anything to rectify it.  It was all he could manage not to let his jaw drop when his eyes settled on Venus.  So THAT was how Adelaide got so hot! When she hugged him,  Calyx felt the same softness he felt when Adelaide first ran into him!  There was n no doubt thay they were mother and daughter.  He couldn't help but wonder what traits she got from Akkarina..

He followed Venus up to the giest room for clothes.  When she told him he could stay in that room for the night he started to object.  He was planning to stay in a hotel for the night.  But her statement caused him to blush,  forgetting all about it!  He thought that her excitement at song him had caused her to miss what should have been obvious,  but she knew!  She arranged the whole "change of clothes" thing to avoid embarrassing Adelaide! Calyx wondered if his parents would have been that cool,  but he couldn't even picture himself in such a situation.

Once Venus left,  he washed up and changed into the clothes she provided. He made his way back to the rim and say on the bed,  contemplating what to do next.  It had gotten late without his realizing it.  There was no way he could go see Adelaide.  It didn't seem right though,  kissing her and being separated without so much as a word!  It would seem she felt the same though,  for before long,  she appeared at his door. His face beamed when he saw her,  but her question was surprising.  "Are you sure it's alright? " he asked,  but he had already committed to going before the words escaped from his lips.  There was a zero percent chance of them not getting caught.  But Venus only said no late night visits!  She didn't say anything about walls,  right? " he stepped out of the room and closed the door behind him

Oh no. She could feel his hesitation in the kiss. Knowing her breath did not smell, she could not help but assume that she was a bad kisser. Ugh! That was not a thing she wanted to become famous for. It was not like one could practice before their first kiss either.

Adelaide pulled back, all she could see was a faint outline of a blush brimming his cheeks. Did he regret the kiss? Why was he so quiet?

This was torturous!

Then, she heard her mother and jumped back about ten feet away from Calyx. Thankfully, it was her mother, Venus. She was not sure how the other would have reacted.

Taking notice of the remnants of the mess, Adelaide sighed and shook her head.

"I ordered Chinese," she replied lamely.

She nodded in response to her mother's request to get washed up. Stealing one last glance at Calyx, Adelaide then turned and went to her bedroom.

In her room, she took notice of the time. They had been having so much fun, she had not noticed how late it had gotten.

During her shower, she kept replaying the kiss in her mind. She wished to know what he had really felt about kissing her. It was driving her mad not to know!

Self consciously, she kept running her fingers over her lips. They were still somewhat swollen from the kiss, but they did not feel any different besides. But she felt different.

After getting dressed, she went back down the hall and into the kitchen. Chinese was sitting on the counter. The food establishment had gotten so used to delivering at her home, they had memorized the credit card number and felt comfortable enough to come in and sit it down if no one answered. That was saying something.

She loved Chinese though.

After eating a few bites, she decided to go find Calyx, afraid that her mom might have scared him off. She hadn't though, fortunately.

Instead, she found him in a spare room. She knocked before entering his room.

"Calyx?" she whispered as not to alarm her mother. "Would you like me to show you the kingdom?"

Home sweet home!

After an all day meeting with the Kingdom advisors, Venus was happy to finally be able to kick off her heels. She hated going to those meetings alone!  She always felt like those men were oggling her when Rina want around!  But she was off on a training trip with that yummy brother of hers!  But it was over now.  All that was left was to check on Ade-

Venus had just closed the door when she realized she could sense two people in the house.  One was Adelaide but the other she couldn't place.  She could only tell that it was extremely powerful. It didn't sound like there was a struggle going on... who was in the house with Adelaide? She hasn't asked if she could have company...

Venus crept up to the kitchen to see Addie standing at an intimate distance from a boy!  She grinned to herself for a moment before straightening her face and preparing to walk around the corner and play mommy but before she could begin fusing,  she recognized the boy!  "Calyx? She asked. "Look at you! " she exclaimed,  rushing over to give the boy a hug. "What are you doing here? "

She knew Calyx was of on his self explosion journey,  but she never expected him to end up in Sancta Terra! It was all starting to come together now! And not just why  there was someone in the house! The flour that Calyx had left on her dress told a story! It was smudged on both their lips!  And there was a handprint on the side of Calyx face! Adelaide  had just had her first kiss!  And it was with CALYX!  Venus had to fight back the urge to squeal!   Instead she grippe the bridge of her nose.

"Adelaide i knew you would make a mess by the time i got home,  but i didn't expect this!" She gestured toward the flour that covered the two.  "Go get washed up!" She told her.  She watched as Adelaide left. Bet attire made her shape very well known.  She had acquired bet body from both the topheavy Venus,  and the bottomheavy Akkarina; any teenage boy's dream. She sighed,  making her mixture of excitement and frustration.  "Come on Calyx. I'm sure i can find you something to wear." She lead him up to a guest room and dug out a shirt and a pair of pants. "You can stay in this room tonight. " she told him. "No late night visits! " she said with a wink.  "Bathroom's right across the hall." She then made her way to her own room,  desiring a change of clothes for herself.

It had never bothered Calyxmuch that he had never missed a girl,  despite the fact that he would be 18 in just a couple months. But now that fact made him nervous.  What if he was no good at it?  He had already jumped the gun and missed her without warning!  But she didn't seem to mind,  even seemed happy about it,  in the way her hand lined the side of his jaw.  When he pulled away from him,  his expression was a bit bashful.  He wasn't sure what to do or day at that point.  A part of him even wanted to apologize!  He would have no time to react,  however,  as another distraction was already on its way.

She had met his inquiry with a thoughtful frown. Yes, she was technically the heir of this kingdom which was thriving in all avenues, nut she craved something of her own. How good would it feel to stand back someday and gaze on something she created with her own two hands!

Then, his offer took her by surprise. Make a kingdom of their own? Her frown created even more thoughtful crevasses within her forehead. Did he truly know what he was suggesting? By the look of his expression, he did not or if he did, it was purely innocent. She swallowed, but hardly had a chance to reply before his lips collided with her own.

A small sound of surprise died in her throat as she followed her instincts and closed her eyes. Timidly, her fingers brushed his jawline, but the rest of her stayed rather still. It was her first kiss after all and her virgin lips were overwhelmed with the feeling his lips created.

After a moment, she did however press into his lips, establishing that she accepted the gesture.

Her heartbeat pounded in her ears as her palms became wet with nervousness. Would it always be like this when she kissed a man, she wondered.

But then, she doubted anyone could live up to the way Calyx's kiss felt.

Adelaide's words brought Calyx to think; What her moms had... a loving partner and family. It was the same thing his father and stepmother had.  The same thing he had condemned his mother for wanting for herself... "I guess at the end of the day that's what everyone wants." Addie had grown up do much.  When she was five she wanted to be strong like Akkarina. When she was 10 she wanted to be pretty like Venus.  But now she had developed her own identity. It made him wiper how he had changed...

When she mentioned starting her own kingdom,  questions filed his eyes.  "Aren't you in line to inherit this kingdom? " he asked.  That reminded him,  he was technically next in line to inherit the Dragons Den.  Though Ember would probably be happier to take on that job. "Then again,  when your parents live for millenia at a time,  i guess lineage isn't that big of a deal.."

He smiled then,  a hint of excitement in his expression.  "Let's do it then!  Let's start a kingdom together! " it didn't take long for him to realize what he had just suggested,  but it was too late to take it back.  When did this get do complicated!?

He chuckled when she showed him the floor from his chin.  "It's alright" he said. "You got yourself worse. " he ran his index finger down her cheek and showing her the proof,  before poking the top of her nose,  leaving the powder behind. At this close proximity,  he could see her eyes clearly; the hints of green behind his own hazel eyes more easily visible.  His breath was shallow as he could feel the warmth radiating from her skin. And then,  as if possessed by something,  he leaned forward slowly,  until his lips pressed against hers.

Idly, she tapped the countertop with her fingertips as she nodded. There was so much more than books and tests too. But Adelaide knew that traveling could never satsify her either for a long period of time. She was the type to plant roots and stay in one spot.

But he was right. Her eyes flickered across his face, considering his words. There had been more the world had to offer than she had realized.

She blinked and glanced down at her hands. Unlike him, she had no plans on exploring the world unless it was for school.

"I'm not sure," she answered honestly. "I would like to have what my moms have someday, but that's unlikely to be here and I love it here."

She shrugged and looked back up to meet his gaze. "Maybe I'll start up my own kingdom. How hard can it be?"

She smirked and then tilted her head and approached him. A mere half a foot from him, she reached out and giggled as she wiped off some flour from his chin.

"Sorry again," she said as she looked up into his eyes, holding the finger up still with some flour on the tip of it.

Calyx  turned bright red in response to Adelaide’s statement. But The flour in his face and hair made it so that he could cover it up simply by turning away slightly. Then came the completion of her statement, which caused the pounding in his heart to calm significantly. This was getting out of hand…

“Chinese works.” He said, as he got down and began to help Adelaide clean all the flour. It was quite a process, and Calyx had made a point to use his powers as little as possible for the duration of the year. Short of flying and communicating with King he had managed to avoid using them altogether! Little did he know that there would be side effects to that decision.

His eyes settled on Adelaide just as she pulled the sweater over her head. He quickly turned away, finding a small spill to distract him. What the Hell man!? Addie wasn’t just cute! She was HOT! Like, Marie Hot! When did that happen? Of course, Calyx hadn’t seen Venus or Akkarina since hitting puberty. If he had, it would probably make more sense to him.

His eyes remained focused on the counter when she asked her question.  He thought on it for a second, looking up to the ceiling before answering. “I guess the same thing as you.” He said calmly. “We’re all getting to that age where we have to learn more than we can from our parents. You’re going to college, Winter is attending one of the top Battle Schools in the Multiverse, And I’m homeless!” He joked, as he turned to face her once more, choking back the desire to bite his lip. “No. But really I’m just out experiencing the world. There’s so much more out there than that little dimension I grew up in, ya know?” He noted Adelaide’s long, curvy hair, among other curvy things as she turned her back to him. Both Soraya and Imperfect always seemed to have straight hair. It was a nice contrast. “What about you?” He asked. “What are you going to do when you finish school?”

She had mulled over his words even if she had pretended to not have heard them. There was too much to think of and nothing wise to say. After the ordeal with the flour, he was a gentleman enough to help save face for her. She exhaled, causing flour to fly off her lips and then giggled.

"Please, you ARE delicious," she joked. It took her a moment to catch the blunder. "As am I, of course, and as would have been this cake. Thank goodness for Chinese delivery."

Hurriedly, she began to clean up, hoping that he would again be gracious enough to overlook her clumsiness. It was not often did she have company, especially of the opposite sex.

This was definitely a first.

Once she had helped get him and the kitchen cleaned, she shrugged off the sweater she had been wearing, revealing a grey tank top that fell just over the waistline of her leggings.

"What are you looking for as you are travelling?" she inquired, putting up the rest of the ingredients. She had just ordered Chinese for the both of them and some extra in case her mothers decided to return.

"Or rather what do you want to gain from it all?" she corrected as she replaced the milk in the fridge, her back turned to him.

From behind, her hair nearly reached her waist even without being straightened. She loved the way long hair felt, but its curls had a tendency to turn men off she had noticed. When she had began college, she had began straightening it.

She turned back to him and waited to hear his response.

“I guess it’s easy to long for something you’ve never experienced.” Calyx said contemplatively. At the time, it didn’t occur to him just how many meanings that statement could have. He only saw the obvious. He had never seen the inside of a classroom. He had never lived in a village where there were other people besides his family. While he had spent his entire life getting to know himself thoroughly, he knew very little about the world or the people in it. Likewise, Adelaide was sheltered in her own way. She had never had the opportunity to go out on her own, and explore herself. To each of them, the other’s experiences would seem like a whole new world.
Calyx hesitated slightly when Addie said she wanted to bake a cake. That was the one thing he simply wouldn’t allow his stepmother to teach him, and now he regretted it! He never imagined there would be a reason he would need to know to bake a cake, and here it was! “Ok.” He said. He was a smart guy. If there was a recipe, he shouldn’t’ have any trouble following it. And luckily enough, he didn’t have to! He read off the steps and ingredients, as Adelaide followed them.

Or at least that was the plan, until Adelaide, in a single motion, turned the entire kitchen into a Winter wonderland! She had the reflexes to keep herself from falling, but in the process spilled flour everywhere! The light, powdery substance floated in the air, and Calyx was frozen in place, until the both of them burst into simultaneous laughter! “I see you get your gracefulness from Venus!” Calyx teased, throwing a handful of flour back at the adorable girl in front of him. Once the dust settled, Calyx looked at himself as well as Adelaide; both covered in flour. “I bet if I raised the temperature in here high enough we’d both come out delicious!” He joked. Might as well make a joke out of it! He didn’t want her to be embarrassed, despite the fact that he picked on her.

She glanced up beneath a hood of thick lashes as he labeled her schooling as 'fancy'. In reality, it was anything but. There was simply no other thing she excelled in or enjoyed enough to pursue. When she had pictured being sixteen, she would be dating and partying, but none of it had seemed appealing once she had reached the 'golden age'.

"Trust me, traveling seems much more 'fancy'," she said with a wink. A smile transpired as she nodded eagerly for him to join her.

She put her hands palms down on the counter as her gaze skipped over the recipe.

"Okay, first I want to make a cake so that it can cool enough by the time dinner is in the oven so that I can put icing on it," she explained, pointing to an assortment of flour, sugar, and other various ingredients the recipe called for.

She began reading over the recipe once more with a tiny frown that bore enough weight along her features to make her lips form a pout and her brow knit together.

As she began, she asked him to review the recipe a few times in between ingredients. All was going well until the dreaded flour came into play.

"So one cup, no three cups, or maybe it is four." She glanced down at the recipe as she spoke. "No, it's four..."

A bit of egg had spilled on the floor, just enough to create a slippery surface. In the midst of her falling, her hand flew out to catch herself, causing the single cup of flour to fly out of her hand and into the air. Instead of catching the counter, her elbow hit the plate where the bag of flour sat and it was launched above their heads, causing it to 'rain' flour.

By the time it was over with, she was too shocked  to move; that was, until a bubble of laughter escaped her. Then, she proceeded to make light of the situation by throwing a handful of flower at him attempting to make fun of what threatened to be a very embarrassing situation on her behalf.

As Adelaide took the lead, Calyx took note of her slip up. He was Raijuta’s son after all. Not much escaped his observation. Of course, he didn’t have the same degree of training Raijuta had. He couldn’t hide his emotions in the same manner, nor could he read people to the same degree. But there was no doubt in his mind that he had caught Adelaide of guard when he called her Princess. Why was that? Even though it was playful, he figured she should be accustomed to being referred to as such!

Calyx was probably more amazed at Adelaide’s disclosing that she was already in her college years than he should have been. Calyx had never had any sort of formal schooling. His parents educated him and his sisters at home. His education was equivalent to that of a High School Graduate. The rest of his education was in life.

When they arrived in the kitchen, she asked what he had been up to. “Well I’ve been out on my own for almost a year now. Exploring the world like my dad did at my age. Honestly I’ve just been walking around. Nothing fancy like you or Winter.”  He caught himself staring as she gathered ingredients from around the kitchen. Snapping himself out of it, he walked over. “Anything I can do to help?”

It was nice of him to accept, but she could not help but to think her offer may have been too much to ask. They were still minors afterall. However, the suggestion had the purest intent behind it.

"That would be great," she replied with a nod.

When he called her princess, she stumbled over her thoughts and nearly dropped her flowers. It took her a moment to remember her title. Of course he had not been flirting, merely calling her by her title! She cleared her throat and pretended the slip had been intentional by rearranging the roses.

"Well, let's go then, shall we?" she said trying to cover up the growing blush with a smile.

Along the way to the palace, she made it a point to tell him about how she was getting ready to begin her third year of college. Mortal studies came easy to her, but it was hardly anything to boast about; though it seemingly proved to be a good conversation starter.

"So, what have you been up to?" she asked, entering the kitchen within the palace.

The girl placed the flowers in a vase and set them on the kitchen table before digging for the ingredients for a pasta dish.

The way Imperfect took off was embarrassing to say the least. It was clear wha the implication in her actions was. And yet, she gave neither of the young ones the time to object. Calyx and Adelaide didn’t have a relationship like that! If anything, she was closer to Winter and Ember. There was no way there was anything there, right? When he looked at her, he couldn’t convince himself of anything though. When she said that her parents were out, and invited him over, he quickly resorted to a technique he had learned from watching his father. By drastically dropping his own body temperature, he was able to prevent himself from blushing profusely. However, he had a feeling that a light shade of pink may have made it to the surface anyway…

He thought back to his home. Even with his parents always around, he had never had company of his own before. Adelaide had come to visit with her parents a few times, but even then, they were all children, bound by their parents activities. “Sure.” He said, figuring the whole point of his travels was to become an adult. Adults could visit each other on their own, right? Why did he keep asking himself these questions?

When Adelaide admitted to not being a great cook, Hazel eyes smiled at her. “It’s alright.” He said. “Maybe I can help.”  He was no world class chef, but he had learned a few things from Sora. His father may have taught him more about surviving, but Sora made a point to try to teach him how to live. “After you, Princess.” He said, gesturing with his hand for her to lead the way. After all, he didn’t really know where he was going.

"Actually, it's Adelaide," she replied as a light blush brightened her cheeks. "But Addie is fine."

She accepted the woman's hand with a touch mirroring her own. "Nice to meet you."

Like her son, Imp possessed an ethereal charm about her. It was intimidating to say the least.

She was about to decline the offer to join the pair when Imperfect departed. Before she could object and insist on letting the mother and son catch up, Imperfect was gone.

She rolled her bottom lip between her teeth and nipped at in as guilt settled in her expression. It had not been her intention to intrude. Perhaps, she could invite his mother over for dinner with her parents sometime soon to make up for how rude she had been.

"Actually, my parents are out and I was getting ready to make dinner if you would like to join?" she offered, her attention turning back to Calyx.

Adelaide tucked a hair beneath her ears as she jostled the flowers to the opposite hand.

"I'm not too good at the whole cooking thing, but I've been practicing," she admitted with a light laugh.

Upon acknowledgment, Imperfect didn't expect much from her son, given the state their last meeting had gone so it came as an utter shock when Calyx had his arms wrapped around her, longer than he usually would. Her own arms warmly embrace him, plump lips finding their way to his forehead and setting upon it a soft kiss before leaning back, chuckling at how cheeky his remarks were. It had been almost 7 months since Imperfect had started following his trails, his scent, letting it lead her to places she hadn't seen, some sights prettier than others. During this time, she had also failed in her attempts to find Calyx's uncle, her dearest brother, Vlad. She had been feeling rather detached from her roots and one might've suggested visiting her homeland would do the trick but her stubborn nature didn't allow this.

"I've been following you, Cal, though you kn-" She playfully ruffles his hair before being interrupted by the arrival of an eager, hyperactive girl. Addie. Imperfect's hazel gaze brightens as she watches her son's reaction to this other individual; she watches the flush that overcomes his cheeks, raising an intuitive brow. As he mentions his plans, she turns to the girl, that seems more or less her son's age.

"Pardon my boy, dear. It seems along with his composure" she teases, chuckling mid-sentence, "he's also lost his manners. I'm Imp. Addie, was it?" With the question lingering in the air, she reaches out to grasp Addie's hand, her touch tender and warm. She squeezes gently before smiling toward her son.

"No, it's okay, my love. You two go and enjoy yourselves, I'll catch up with you later."

Another gentle squeeze and she lets go of the girl's hand, addressing her once more.

"It was a pleasure, dear."

Her wings protrude from her back, heavy, dark feathered wings, taking her son in her arms once more before giving him a kiss goodbye on his cheek. "I'll see you when you're done." It was a whisper, meant only for his ears and as the words pass her lips, she is soaring into the sky once more, at an extremely fast pace.

Calyx' last meeting with his mother hadn't been on good terms.  He regretted it now,  despite believing that he was right in his qualms. He loved Sora dearly but at the end of the day he had only one mother. He had sensed her tracking him for some time now, but he hadn't reached out to her. He didn't know why, but he couldn't bring himself to. So instead he had been traveling more slowly;  walking when he could have flown,  taking his time and taking in the sights.  It seemed on his search for a meal,  she had finally caught up.

Her getting was so classic... Deeming their meeting a "surprise" when she had clearly been searching for him for at least three days.  At least,  that was how long he had been onto her... Calyx just laughed and threw his arms around Imperfect. His embrace may have seemed unnecessarily long but that was what he needed.  This was his first time seeing family in almost a year and it was a warmth that was beyond description. Once he was satisfied,  he took a step back.

"What are you doing way out here? " be asked,  playing along with the "surprise" story his mother had given him.  He was preparing to hear her Answer when he heard a girls voice calling his name. He only knew one girl in this kingdom,  but when he turned his head,  it wasn't little ten year old Adelaide that greeted him. A girl wrapped her arms around him,  and her scent conformed that it was Adelaide.  But she was different.  She was.... soft.  His face turned red as one arm shaped. Wrapped around her waist.  "Addie!" There was a bit of hesitation before using that pet name. The gap between them didn't seem so large anymore.  "How have you been?"

He hadnt forgotten his mother's presence though. He looked to her when Adelaide stepped back.  "I was just going to find something to eat.  Would the two of you like to join me? "

Adelaide's boots crunched the ice beneath them as she walked along the street at the farmer's market. Despite the heavily loaded down carts, there were few people out shopping this time of day. No one bothered to look up as she picked around the carts, looking for nothing in particular.

Long auburn ringlets cascaded down the length of her head as she gave it a decisive shake. The motion was unbeknownst to her as she remained deep in thought. It was only when her eyes snagged on a lovely bouquet of Osiria roses was she pulled out of her thoughts. A gentle smile caressed her lips as she thumbed one of the petals. The flowers were a rarity, much less in winter.

After purchasing them from an elderly woman with a kind smile, she continued on her way. She had only made it a few paces when she glanced up and saw a familiar face. With a large foolish grin and her nose nestled deep within the roses, eyes the color of amber locked on Calyx.

Frozen, Adelaide lost her smile along with a number of senses as surprise threatened to overcome her.

"Calyx?" she murmured. Though sounded like a question, there was no uncertainty within her expression.

How long had it been? Six years? Perhaps, it had been longer; it sure felt like it.

All at once, her smile returned and she quickly embraced him with a tight hug. The scent of roses freshly picked wafted in the air as her arms along with the boquete went around him.

"It's great to see you." Her excitement was contained in the whisper of her voice as to avoid hurting his ear, but it was not long until she sprung back like a clock wound too tight.

Her curls bounced against her spine as she went. Usually, she straightened her hair, but she had not expected to see anyone today. She ran her hand over it, willing the natural curls not to be so wild, but it was to no avail.

For Imperfect, the beauty of life was in a person's ability to enjoy, with full complexity, the simple things of the earth. The water, the evergreen, the mirage of orange and red in the setting sun were things you had to admire from afar, and for a while. You can't take a simple glance and expect your eyes to abide with your impatience, they'll be hungry for more. The woman floating in the clouds wasn't hungry for the earth's candle, it's beautiful colours, no. She was hungry for some time alone with her son. It had been too long since their last meeting, his travels and her business not allowing them to meet. She had been consistent with her search for her older brother, having not had any luck as of yet. Her search for Calyx had proven to be more successful, his presence seemingly becoming more definite as she starts soaring downward. He's walking along some streets, and for a moment, she just gazes at him, taking him in; his blonde locks, his eyes, so identical to his mothers. As her feet lay flat on the ground, her wings retract into her back and she begins to walk to him, calling out.

"What a lovely surprise this is!"

Calyx had been wandering for several months now. Here for a day, there for a week. He had taken a detour from his planned route when he heard the Kingdom of Sancta Terra was nearby. That was the land where Venus and Akkarina ruled. He hadn't seen Adelaide in 5 or six years so he thought he'd drop by. Of course, he had no clue how to find any of them, so he just ended up walking the streets. The Kindom was nice. Unlike the last village he found himself in, the streets weren't littered and dirty. The people seemed to keep to themselves though. No one paid him any mind, and he was fine with that. It had been a few days since he ate, however, so he figured it was about time he found himself a meal. Even if he didn't come across Adelaide, he could still enjoy himself before taking off to the next town.

The queen jumped and smiled when her queen had given her a little whack on the behind. It was playful, yet hard; a stern exclamation point added to her words. "So forceful. . . I like it. . " The Maridian said as she made her way toward their room to find some clothes to wear. Venus was something special; she had a way about her to not only get someone out of their clothes, but to have a Maridian put on clothes. Especially Akkarina, who normally would dress as if she was going to wind up having several random encounters as the day progressed. Huffing, Rina found the tiger stripped form fitting mini dress that Venus liked so much coupled with knee high boots. Adjusting the moisture, Akkarina was able to curl her hair quickly and efficiently all while the commotion was happening in the kitchen. She could do nothing but smile. As she exited, she came across a huffing Adelaide who, by the looks of things was displeased. Looking at the problem, Akkarina peeled off the band aid and shook her head. "No no no. That does not look good at all. It looks like another head is growing out of your face!" Normally, that would be Venus doing the joking like that, but Akkarina has learned from Venus as well over the years. She gave the child a few moments to die inside before making a suggestion. "You are MY daughter and a Maridian. Skin rarely blemishes. Since you aren't full blood Maridian and you don't train your body often, this is what happens. SEE?! Look, use your powers to make the pimple go away. The oils will recede. Remember, you have control over things like this..." Giving a stern, yet condescending look. "If you have it in you, of course..." She knew she had it in her; she felt the storm clouds earlier.

Dark storm clouds befell on their daughter's eyes as she looked from the cream to her mother. Jumping off of the cabinet, she then righted herself and folded her arms over her chest.

"You would have me look like this, really?" she asked, appalled at her request. "Ugh! Fine..."

She slumped her shoulders in defeat and began cleaning up after herself, though she made sure to do it a bit more loudly than it was called for to illustrate her displeasure. Once she was finished, she returned, covering the pimple with her hand in shame of its appearance.

"I'm -..."

She noticed a bowl still on the counter and rushed to put it back in its place.

"Okay, now I'm done. Please give it to me," she begged.

Adelaide was ecstatic to be going out, but she had to solve this pimple issue first. Eyeing the cream, she caught the little description that said, 'results within just 24 to 48 hours' and squealed.

"No! We can't go out! I like I have two heads. Do you know how many heads that is. One more than what you are supposed to have!" she exclaimed. "I'm a freak!"

She stomped upstairs to her room to get dressed in spite of her words. As horrific as she looked, she would never actually turn down a chance to shop. What teenage girl would in their right mind?

From upstairs, she yelled, "I'm going to need a band aid the size of the Atlantic! No, the moon! Wait, is the moon larger than the Atlantic? I don't know, but it just needs to be huge! When she returned, she had on a tank top with a sweater and a pair of black shorts with flip flops on. Her long hair fell in waves, framing her face.

She busied herself with fiddling with the bandage as she waited on her mothers to get ready. After a moment, she went up to Akkarina and tilted her head back then pointed at the band aid.

"Does this look okay, mom?"

Venus watched in amusement as Adelaide examined herself in the mirror. It was like having a tiny Akkarina who actually cared about things like make up and shopping! She was everything Venus could possibly ask for! But then it came... ZitGate O-4! Venus barely moved from her spot as Adelaide went on her rampage through the house, searching very obviously for some sort of pimple cream. She continued to watch with a smile on her face. That was, until she felt those arms snake around her, and the kisses over her neck. "Behave you!" She said to her beloved Queen, before turning and planting a kiss on her lips. The only thing Akkarina was, just as much as she was training crazy, was frisky. ALL the time! It must have driven her crazy to not be able to do it whenever she wanted, like before they had a child. Venus had to admit, she missed it too. But if there was anything she was willing to trade it for, it was Adelaide.

"Get dressed." She told Akkarina. "We're going shopping. Your daughter has a dance coming up." It was true that Adelaide had a dance coming up, but they weren't actually going shopping. Venus had already taken Adelaide to find her dress and shoes. Venus just liked teasing Rina with girly activities she knew she didn't want to do. In actuality, she had decided the family would go out to eat that evening. Venus then turned and walked down the hall, slapping her wife's firm booty lightly on the way to their own room, where she went into the bathroom and picked out a tube of the very substance Adelaide searched for.

By the time she found the girl, she had made her way to the kitchen, where she was tearing through the cabinetws. Venus didn't dare ask the girl why she thought she would find zit cream in the Kitchen. She simply held up the tube, as the girl declared that she needed it "yesterday."

"You mean this cream?" She asked, but she would quickly raise it out of the girl's reach when she attempted to take it. "You can have it after you clean my house! Tearing apart cabinets and throwing everything on the floor is not how you search for something!"

Venus was usually what you would call the "cool" parent, as Rina was definitely what you'd call the strict one. Though that was true, Venus didn't want to raise a child as spoiled and oblivious as she had been. There were many things in life that she wouldn't have known if Akkarina hadn't taught her, such as how to appreciate things. Adelaide wouldn't grow up without that knowledge, so in order to ensure that, Venus had to police Adelaide at times, despite her constant desire to spoil the cute little girl to death...

It was a lovely day to train; five hours from the crack of dawn until now in the work house building her strength. Venus claims that Akkarina was strong enough now and that she could calm down and be more family oriented. Of course, Rina objected because she still feels she's not adequate enough to be considered a true ruler and comparable to her parents legacy. As she finished with her training, Akkarina returned to the home with her wife and daughter: The daughter who reminded her so much of Orchid that it made her sick to her stomach. Orchid was a fine ruler of Maridia and a strong woman, but her vanity will be her ruin. They have become very close because of that. She didn't want that for her daughter. Wrapped only in a blue towel, Akkarina draped her arms around Venus from behind while placing several kisses upon the back of her neck. Cool breath then caressed the slender neck of Venus like a guided hand from Akkarina's lips. Omni colored eyes watched along with Venus to see their beautiful daughter treat her see in front of the mirror. It was a way of training, yet not physical. Akkarina never understood it, but Venus seemed to love how she had turned out. She would not dwell on that for any longer and just enjoy this moment.

The girl in the mirror smacked her lips together, rubbing the lipgloss evenly over the pink skin. Adelaide stared at the girl, admiring her work and looking for any flaws. Cupping her cheek, she turned her head this way and that in order to look at it from all possible angles. It was all going well until she saw 'it' under her chin.

She let out a shrill and jumped out of the chair. Running into the restroom, she climbed onto the countertop on the sink and started looking through the medicine cabinet, throwing everything out until all that remained was a pink bottle. She shook it, praying to hear the 'washing' and 'wishing' of liquid, but instead there was nothing. The girl threw the empty bottle which landed in the tub with a solid 'thud' and ran out.

"Emergency!" she screamed, running past her mother and down the hallway.

In the kitchen, she rummaged through cabinets and drawers as tears came to her eyes. She stopped and took a breath.

"Okay, Adelaide," she told herself. "Get a grip. Remember what Tyra says 'worry leaves lines and lines don't go with beauty'."

Calmly, she looked up and caught her reflection on a glass on the counter. The pink bump beneath her chin seemingly growled at her as her eyes fell on it.

"Ah! Tyra was wrong!" she screamed. "We need pimple cream like yesterday, people!"

~Insert Time Jump~

Mere moments, it seemed had passed, since Venus and Akkarina had turned this modest land into a grand Kingdom. The two lived as Queens, but that meant little to Venus. She had grown up her entire life as Royalty. Riches and power had no value to her. But what did matter to her was the people. She may have been pampered like a palace brat before, but she had no responsibilities to rule or protect anyone. She had made it her personal business to tend to the people of the land. Obviously Rina wasn't gong to do it...

But even more important than the people of Sancta Terra, in Venus' heart, was it's Princess. It was hard to believe her little Angel was already 12 years old! She was the spitting image of Akkarina, but that was as far as their simalarities carried. Venus watched from the door as the girl sat at her vanity table, applying lipgloss in the mirror as daintily as she could manage. It must have irked Akkarina to have such a girly daughter, but Venus loved it! She was so adorable! And when she was older, Venus would see what Akkarina would look like as a dainty girly girl. The thought was exciting to her, though she never teased her Queen about it. Not that she wasn't tempted, mind you; She just didn't want to give Rina any reason to try to toughen the girl up. Venus loved her family. Just the way it was.

It's been months since Akkarina and Venus had first met the child and took the orphan in. Anessa was another child that Akkarina had taken in years ago and that girl had grown up to a woman that Akkarina could be proud of, sort of. Cammy, had indeed shown some promise over the past few months, however, which had caused Akkarina to soften up on the kid; kind of.. Usually, Akkarina would be up at the crack of dawn, training and making sure that her quest for strength was never halted. But, today, for some reason, Akkarina had slept in. Maybe it was due to the night that she and Venus had, or the fact that she had pushed her body to the limit the day prior. Regardless, Venus had made today one of the rare times of waking up before Akkarina and fetching herself a shower. The water vapors that floated through the air started to collect on Akkarina's body, creating a form of comfort healing. Venus' removal of herself from the bed caused this aching feeling deep in Akkarina's soul. Once Venus returned to wake Akkarina up, she could be found clutching her other half's pillow. Akkarina had grown quite fond of the woman, so much so that it seemed like she wouldn't know what to do without her partner in life and crime.

The Maridian used to think that attaching yourself to another person creates a weakness and a distraction that could be exploited by the enemies to dire consequence. But, over the past year or so, Venus had grown on her. She's strong, dedicated, and willing to improve herself. Though childish at times, it created a nice contrast to Akkarina's constant seriousness.. "Huh..?" She questioned, slowly opening her ever changing eyes to view upon the woman she loved; wet hair draped across her beautiful, yet concerned face. "Cammy's gone?!" Akkarina shouted; the first bit of concern for the child showcasing itself upon her features. "Maybe she's outside?" Akkarina suggested as she stood to her feet and stretched. Though, her first thought was to give a low voiced 'good riddance'. Despite the fact that Cammy was missing, the food smelled wonderful. "You think she'll smell that and return? I mean, there are plenty of reasons for this. Don't jump to conclusions.." The woman said while making her way to the kitchen. "What do you suggest we do?"

Venus yawned and stretched as she awoke from her slumber, looking over at a still sleeping Akkarina. How long had it been since they had made their home here with Cammy? Five? Six months? No matter. It had been the happiest time of her life. She knew that much. Rina and Venus had both been training Cammy in combat and survival techniques. In a short time, Cammy had become quite the hand to hand combat expert, but what was strange, was that they still hadn't discovered the nature of her Draconian abilities...

Despite her harder nature, Cammy was more drawn to Akkarina than Venus. At first, Venus had been a little jealous of this fact, but she grew happy about it over time. It was cute. And though she wouldn't admit it, it made Akkarina happy too.

Venus slid her way out of Rina's arms and made her way to the bathroom. Sure, she had learned Raijuta's cleansing technique back when they were in the army together, but nothing beat an old fashioned shower... She turned the water on as high as she could take it, and stepped under the stream, allowing it to flow over her head, get caught in her hair, and cascade down her body like a waterfall.

She remained in the shower for nearly an hour before finally getting out and wrapping her body in one towel, and her hair in another. "I'm going to make breakfast, hon." She said to a sleeping Rina. It was unlike her to sleep so late. Yesterday's training must have really gotten to her. She made her way to the kitchen and began making an extravagant breakfast that she knew Rina would barely touch. Turkey bacon, pancakes, Cheese eggs, orange juice, and strawberry milk for Cammy.

She then walked to Cammy's room to wake her, but didn't see the small child there. With a furrowed brow, she checked Cammy's bathroom. Nothing. She then went to see if she had crawled into bed with Akkarina while she was cooking. Still nothing. "Rina, I can't find Cammy! She said, shaking her gently, but starting to panic on the inside. It wasn't like Cammy to disappear...

"Hmm..That's a good thing, I suppose.." Akkarina said, still trying to gain her bearings. The dream was realistic, as if she was actually living it. So, of course, she would find the fact that she was back in bed, holding Venus to be a strange occurrence; one she had to check to make sure was real. "Yes, I remember them.." She said, softly, while yawning. Then, it was the knock, and the voice. There she was. The young child who who had latched on to them like some sort of leech; Akkarina especially. She wondered why, honestly. Akkarina was amazed by Venus' power over spawning objects and controlling the water around them; the room looked perfectly clean as if nothing had transpired the night prior. The Maridian actually enjoyed her new robe, it wasn't blue, but the red worked well for her and it fit perfectly. Even though the girl had asked Rina, Venus answered in her stead. A quick glare was passed toward her lover, before focusing upon the little one, sitting up as well. "Yes we do.."

Her wording wasn't exactly warm and cuddly, but at least Venus had managed to get an agreement out of her. She couldn't help but hold back a silent giggle at the way Rina chose her words, but she didn't speak on it, rather enjoying the comfort of being held. Besides the wet carpet, the remains of the storm seemed to have faded. "She's a Draconian, after all. Being a warrior is in her blood." She thought back to when the three of them had met with Raijuta. She wished she had asked more questions back then. Things that could have been useful in raising a young Draconian warrior. It was too late now, however. And then came the knock on the door. Eyes wide, A pink blouse and jeans appeared on the woman, and a red one for Akkarina. She had no time to ask what kind of outfit she would prefer. A suctioning wind rose from the ground, sucking up all the water the carpet had absorbed into a large ball, which she quickly tossed out the window. "We have to get better control of that."  She said under her breath. "Come on in sweety!" She said to Cammy. She sat up on the bed and looked toward the door, awaiting the arrival of the  young one.

"Take your most wildest dreams, my child, and let them fly... Allow yourself to become what you wish to be; whether to be for someone, or to keep what you have, just do not, and I repeat do not.. Change who you are..."

It was that voice again... The voice that had been taunting and prying open her dreams like a seashell. She felt so vulnerable when she heard it. She felt like she could actually touch and caress the voice with the tip of her fingers, she felt alive when she heard the voice, and yet she didn't even know where or who the voice belonged to. No, she knew not of anything about the voice. All that she knew was the feelings that crowded her mind in some many ways then one. The sleep that had taken her so suddenly while she was with Akkarina and Venus was slowly wearing off. At first she was a little confused, and her soft hazel eyes glanced to the side and then back to in front of her. She was in a room and she couldn't even think straight.

Did they leave? Camille saw no sign of them anywhere, and a shot of fear stroked through out her entire body, she sat up quickly and looked to her left and then to her right; still not seeing a single soul in sight. A slow throbbing began to pound within her temples, and she raised her short, stubby arms and pressed her fingers against her flesh, slowly rubbing the pads of her fingers in small circles, a soft sigh slipping from her lips.  "V-Venus? R-Rina?" Her voice broke out throughout the silence, and she slowly stood up, upon hearing the faint voices in the night, she almost thought it was he voice that spoke to her in her dreams, but this voice sounded more firm and she recognized it as Rina's voice.

As she heard the other room, the voice got louder until she heard her voice clearly. Cammy took in a soft breath before she knocked lightly on the door, and spoke softly.  "R-Rina? Can I come i-in?" As she spoke she opened the door and tinge, just to crack it open, hoping they would let her in. She wanted some cuddle time.

Akkarina awoke to hearing an angelic voice calling her name; Venus' voice could always send chills up and down Akkarina's spine, as well as warm her seemingly cold heart. It was now that she had realized she was holding the woman in her arms, tightly clinging onto her as if she were to float away if she was allowed to slip pass the spacing between her arms. The Maridian murmured and mumbled as she attempted to gain some composure. She could feel the heated body of Venus against hers, which made her not want let the girl go, so she simply listened while embracing the woman tightly and planting a kiss upon her head; which was out of character for her recently. Maybe this affection wont last too long. As she listened, she nodded her head, agreeing to what she was being told. "It would be nice to have a prodigy. Maybe we both could instil our knowledge into her. Create something we could be proud of. Instead of a bumbling pile of dead weight.." There she goes again... Akkarina's 'charming' way with words. Her grip loosened while her lips parted to make way for a yawn; the dreams still haunting her conscience.

Venus smiled as her partner cuddled closer to her, but she didn't open her eyes. Her dream had been so wonderful, and she wasn't ready for it to end just yet. So she lay quietly in Akkarina's arms, hoping that her dream would claim her once more. Unfortunately, that dream never came. For some time, she simply thought about it. It was the perfect compromise. Everyone training to become stronger, but looking out for each other as a family. "Rina..." She asked, unsure if the woman was awake. If she recieved no answer, she would remain silent for a while before asking again, repeating this process until she recieved an answer. "Why don't you train Cammy?" She asked.  "Maybe she could become your prodigy. You have to leave a legacy behind one day, right?" She decided that she should check on the girl, but she wasn't quite ready to get up. She was too comfortable being held...

Akkarina slept like a baby; she didn't toss nor turn, just slept soundly all huddled up with Venus' warm body. The dreams she had was so vivid, so pronounced, so. . . happy. They trained, played, laughed, and giggled. It was so strange; reminded Akkarina of the fact that there was more things to life other than fighting and training. Though, most of the dream was training little Cammy while Venus looked on. Seemed that Cammy could have been a prodigy of Akkarina, much like Annessa -should- have been. The Furian Queen was feeling a connection between herself and Cammy, one that she didn't expect to feel. What was this dream and why was she having it? There wasn't violence, the need to become stronger, just playful training and fun. Becoming stronger without the need to prove ones self as a greater being. Akkarina always thought that she needed to be like her mother and father; live up to the great names they had created for themselves in battle. She wanted to live up to that heritage and found that anything else would be a distraction. Love, affection, caring about anyone would just get in the way of being the best! Akkarina's mindset seemed to be nonexistent during this dream and all was tranquil and beautiful. Akkarina seemed to cuddle closer to Venus as if seeking her warmth and. . . .love.

A years worth of frustration, released from both bodies, now flooded the room in the form of... an actual flood! The floor was soaked as a result of the storm that the two had created in their passion. It seemed every time the two got together, they created a new act of nature, but this time it would have an actual impact on their home. The carpet would likely need to be replaced, the walls painted... The entire room would probably have to be redone. But this was no time to be concerned with that. After such a release, it wouldn't be long before sleep overcame the two women, tired and tuckered as they would be.

Akkarina hadn't been the only one in heavy training. In her partners absence, Venus had been continuing her training with Ciaran. Her ability to invade the minds of others had vastly improved. However, she hadn't expected that her incomplete mastery of it would have... side effects. As dreams captured the ebony skinned beauty, her lack of control played it's part. Interjecting Venus' dream into Rina's mind, sending her the images, and forming their dreams into one. The setting was beautiful. An open field that went on for miles. But naturally, a beautiful setting didn't always make for a romantic storyline. Venus was sitting on the grass, looking on as Rina trained with Cammy. The girl was going surprisingly well, keeping up with Rina during their sparring match. Rina had made her into quite the little warrior. It was honestly fun to watch. Because even though they were fighting, there was an air of respect, and maybe even a hint of affection between the two. Perhaps Venus should pursue this future...

Eventually, of course, Rina took the little one to the ground, declaring her victory with a pointed hand to her opponents throat. She then helped the girl up, and the two simultaneously bowed to each other. Venus then surprised them both, splashing them with a mass of water. It was nice having the two as sparring partners. It meant there wouldn't have to be an air of competitiveness between Rina and Venus, who would likely kill each other if a sparring match got out of hand. The result of Venus' assault was an all out water war, in which Venus and Cammy had no hope of surviving against Rina. This would be a perfect life... But before it could be realized, the two would have to wake up...

Akkarina's legs unwrapped from around Venus' neck, only to spread out before her as if a pallet presented just for Venus' pleasure. Her body writhed with euphoria the likes in which would just cause her to lose control. Her toes curled, fingers gripped at Venus' luscious thick hair as her head tilted back in pleasure. Her heart rate rose as well as the secretion of water and juices that leaked out of her body. The water mingled with the heated body of Venus, creating a sweltering atmosphere around them which caused their own little storm to break out. Inside of the building, there was fog, clouds, and even rain. The friction between them would emit sparks that traveled up Akkarina's body and out of her eyes which rolled into the back of her head. She moaned out between gasps as the pressure within her built. Her hands shot from her lover's hair and gripped the saturated sheets, nearly ripping them up. It's been a year since she had seen Venus, and since she had returned, it seemed Venus was second place in her mind, but right now, Venus was all that she could think about. Training and getting stronger was her pleasure, which was evident by the muscles that graced Akkarina's body as well as some light scaring in various areas from training and fighting. But now, Venus was her pleasure, was her life, was her every single thought at this very moment. Would this change after they're done? Who knows, but right now, in this moment, Venus was everything to her. Her womanhood throbbed and leaked heavily, due to Maridians being extra wet in that situation. Even when it comes to simple **** lubrication, or orgasms, they are extra wet. With a howling gasp and moan, Akkarina's trembling body would produce a gushing orgasm that sent her over the edge. Her breathing was heavy and quick, her body was trembling as if she had lost all control of it. She was in such a love high that she couldn't move from her position; she just trembled and writhed... Left a twitching bliss coma induced mess.

What a failure Akkarina was, Venus thought to herself with a giggle, as her tongue explored the caverns of the Maridian Queen's love. She tried so hard to play the role of a Goddess, but she was, in truth, just a confused girl, no different from Venus. Searching for herself; no; Trying to create herself. Trying to create this being that was the embodiment of strength, similar to that of a mountain. But Venus knew how to melt all of that away. She knew how to expose the truth of a scared woman who didn't know what to do. And it wasn't simply through acts of pleasure... No, it was deeper than that. It was in everything from the way they looked into each others eyes to the way their voices seemed to soften when they were around each other. There was no Akkarina when they were together. There was no Venus. What existed in that room was the embodiment of true perfection. It was visible in everything from the sweat that formed on their bodies, to the multicolored mist that now rose toward the ceiling of the room. As the gas extended beyond the reach of the Astille's warm aura, the natual reaction would occur, the mist would begin to condensate, causing a light rain to fall within the room. Even indoors, The weather was effected by the passion of these two. As the drops of rain landed on Venus' bare back, a sizzle could be heard, before the water quickly lifted once more. Between that and the sounds of pleasure coming from Rina, Venus' own climax was starting to build. And as it did, her body temperature continued to rise, speeding up the rain cycle that had occured in the room. With every moan, every pant, every gasp, she grew hotter. Her hips rotated in response, and her attention to her lover grew in intensity her pink, spongy organ infiltrated deeper, while her fingers massaged her love button with a finer precision. and before she knew it was happening, Her body released the most amazing pleasure she had ever felt! As if a wind had blown from her body, both the mist, and water blew to every corner of the room as she cried out in an ecstasy that she had never known. The floor, walls, and cailing were soaked, but she didn't care. In this moment, all she could manage, was to try to catch her breath...

As much as Akkarina demanded dominance in everything in her life, this was one thing that her control issues seemed to fail at; she found it hard to take control of Venus in the bedroom, instead being as submissive as a kitten. Didn't mean she didn't try, oh she tried and would continue to try. Hands moved from gripping the sheets, that was now soaked in the sweat of the women and the natural aura of Akkarina, plus the steam that was now aloft due to their passion filled love making; it was a sizzling display of blue and red hues igniting the mist that surrounds them. Little moans and gasps slipped from Akkarina's lips as she was determined to fight the sensation of pure bliss. Why? Because it all was a distraction from becoming perfect.. Perfection is what Akkarina sought for, strength, power beyond measure. She knew that she could achieve it, but she would need to remain focu--- "Uuuggnnn..." A deep moan crept past her defenses, knocking whatever thoughts she was having out of her mind, inviting the euphoric sensations to flood her every fiber, encompassing her with pure bliss; melting her inhibitions into a puddle, much like the puddles forming upon the sheets between her legs. The tongue of her love was well trained it seemed and touched upon every surface that it could touch. The groans and moans of Akkarina were now set free and she shuddered under the pleasure that her ebony lover provided. She arched and buckled, legs folded as well as her body while the red eyed beaut took hold of her writhing body. Tongue dipping and diving, juices clinging in strands to her lover's face. Hair clinging to her body and face as she returned her, now softened, gaze toward Venus. Her fingers tangled deeply in the fibers of Venus' hair...

Stop? Why in the world would Venus even consider doing something like that? This moment was hers. It was her every dream, her every anticipation, her every yearning for over a year now. The force it would take to stop her was beyond comprehension. And with Akkarina now fully exposed to her, she could open up a whole new set of tricks that she had planned for her partner. Venus' ability over various elements would serve her well, as with her own abilities, she warmed her tongue before reinserting it into her lovers exposed love canal, the warmth would be accompanied by a tingling feeling, as it slipped deeper inside, sliding along the walls and sending jolts of heat through the woman's body as she flattened and twisted the long, pink organ around. such stretching caused a slight pain to the frenulum under Venus' tongue but she showed so signs of pain or hesitation as she granted the Maridian goddess' request. Her hands gripped the woman's hips as she dove deeper, moaning slightly, despite the difficulty. The intensity was just too much. Her own juices had begun to flow down her leg, only in response to the erotic view, and sounds that surrounded her. It was bliss, it was enough to build her toward her own climax. But she couldn't have that. Not yet. Not until she has shown Akkarina a whole new side of the world that she had been ignoring... Her tongue retreated from the home it had so missed, and Crimson Red eyes glared through the mist that had filled the room, up toward the queen that was only managing to keep her breath. This would be a night to remember...

Akkarina was sinking, falling, losing herself within the pleasures that her lover was giving her. More so, the amount that Venus could affect her, both mentally and physically. For short moments, Akkarina would gaze down provocatively at her lover while that slick pink appendage finds it's way to the love button that so delicately protruded from the Maridian's body and was being treated like a treasure that was hidden beneath the deepest ocean, found by this planetary vixen; her very own pink pearl. Strong legs twitched and fingers clawed at the sheets while the mist that formed; composed of Venus' burning aura and Akkarina's aquatic.  The steam rose as if water was poured upon a billowing flame, spewing out from their sizzling bodies and filling the room. It was so energetic, the clashing of auras, that it actually created a purple glow. Even the cooling of Akkarina's body couldn't keep that flame down from Venus' passion. The auras sizzled and popped, which only gave Akkarina more and more pleasure.

It seemed that Venus was more skilled than she was the last time they had romance. After that night, was the night that Akkarina had left ona  year long voyage with her family. Now that she's returned and is in much better shape than before, Venus had found that she needed to enjoy her watery lover once more. And, to make up for the argument that they had endured earlier. Make up they did. As the finger made it's way inside of Akkarina, her juices spilled out; being Maridian made her overly lubricated. Her breath hitched as it was caught in her throat. Venus's soft lips and tongue made Akkarina swoon in delight, nearly twisting herself off of the bed, but she remained composed. As the second finger entered her tight and muscled womanhood, Akkarina squirmed and squealed, having her walls pushed open by way of powerful and skilled fingers; someone had time to study. Her toes wiggled and her Omni-Colored eyes twisted like a kaleidoscope. The mist in the air layered the women's bodies , creating this sizzling sheen of wetness. No matter how wet, it didn't compare to how wet Akkarina was on the inside. "n..No.." Akkrina replied in a breathy moan while strong legs hooked the woman against her. She writhed in pleasure, as each push of fingers and strokes of her tongue sent bolts of pleasure rippling through Akkarina's body. The passion was so great, that even bolts of electricity sparked between them and even in the mist..

The invasive fingers not only sent this weird warmth through her already heated core, but it also sent these ripples of bubbling pleasure through her as the water bubbled against that sizzling digits. It was an odd sensation, but didn't cause any pain at all. Soo, the burning stopped and it was simply this super natural warmth that cause her insides to want to explode in ecstasy. She groaned and cried out while arching her body to the point seeming like it was break, then returning to lie flat on her back. Akkarina then pulled her strong and wide legs up and used her arms to fully nest her legs parallel to her side to open herself up completely for Venus. Akkarina was a very flexible being, and this, right here, proved just how much she could be. "Oh please... Ruby.. Don't you dare stopp.." She commanded, though her breaths were sharp and moaning, and her words were soft and drawn out, almost as if she was crying. She knew that this was just the beginning, but she was already feeling her walls tighten around those hot pokers and that savory tongue..

The collision of the two aura's at times like this always resulted in bizzare occurrences. It was always beautiful, and yet, it was always different. Red and blue beams of light, that were visual proof of the intensity and passion that encompassed the room merged, creating a single purple aura, which was then spread and formed by the steam that the two had produced through nothing more than the very contact of their heated bodies. All of this was the very definition of erotic, and yet, The only thing Venus seemed to be capable of focusing on, was the beauty that lay beneath her. The jewel that throbbed at the tip of her tongue. The moans coming from above her, and the writhing of the woman's hips into her face. This was what Venus needed... Everything else was just background noise...

A single, slender digit found it's way into the woman's canal, as full, soft lips wrapped around her pearl. Venus' original intent was to take Akkarina to a point of pleasure that she remembered something other than strength. But what she hadn't anticipated, was the pleasure she would receive just from witnessing Rina's reactions to her. Her rear end wiggled in the air as she slid a second finger inside the woman, feeling her own juices beginning to flow down her leg as her fingers were covered in those of her lover. She removed her fingers from the Maridian woman, lapping up a bit of her love juice on her tongue, and offering a naughty grin before reinserting them once more.  "Do you have any more objections?" Her voice was low and sultry as she asked Rina the completely rhetorical question. There was no stopping now...

Through Akkarina's obsession with strength, she also had another obsession: her name was Venus. The planet that goes by the same name was known to be beautiful, fierce, dangerous and relatively unknown. This woman shared the same traits that her namesake provided; especially now. She was taking what she wanted, the little bubbly attitude was gone, and in it's place, was this beautiful WOMAN, who showed her strength. This, did make Akkarina understand that Venus had changed a lot, just as Akkarina had. But, who changed for the better? Akkarina couldn't think about that, for she was far too distracted by the pink spongy organ that stroked her love button. Warm saliva trailed over the bead and dripped down the valleys of her flower and down between both of her holes, pooling upon the sheets of the bed. The liquid mingled with Akkarina's juices as she squirmed against Venus' face, writhing in pleasure that she hadn't had for a while. There was so much tension, so much love, so much lust that had built up over the year apart, that it all would seem to explode into fruition this very night.

"Ruby..." Akkarina whispered as her resistance to this night soon started to fade away. She didn't know why she fought this, but she knew that she needed this. Long strong legs -Long for such a short person- widened yet, still held that bow shape to leave contact with the top of Venus' body. As the tongue lowered and slipped inside of her entrance, Akkarina gasped and tensed up as the sizzling tongue invaded her body. She moaned and almost squealed as that tight hole was penetrated and pushed apart by the sweet, soft, and seemingly practiced tongue. Akkarina licked her lips as her breaths became labored. Toes, still slick from saliva curled from how intense this was. . Already. Their bodies were drizzled with water as a blue haze surrounded Akkarina and a red haze seemed to surround Venus. Sizzling sounds bathed the women, which was accompanied by the sounds of Akkarina's moans and the kissing and slurping sounds that Venus was creating. "Ohhh... Ahhh..." Was the assortment of sounds that left the lips of Akkarina. As she twisted and writhed, her hair, now wet covered her face, but she didn't care, there were . . Things stealing her attention..

By this point, the steam created from the collision of the two bodies had all but filled the room. An onlooker would see little more that two seductive looking silhouettes carressing, and tending to each other, as well as the red beams of light that emitted from the Astillian woman's eyes. The rays of light scanned Akkarina's body as if searching for the source of her passion, while simultaneously attempting to enhance it; Attempting to bring out the primal instinct that Venus knew was hidden somewhere deep inside her....

Inside her.. The answer was suddenly so obvious. As Venus continued to plant tiny kisses on the woman's pearl, she knew where that passion was hiding. The same place she had found it the first time. The place where she had searched only once, in order to find the portion of her love that was hidden away behind the layers of insecurity covered by an obsession with strength. Her small, light pink tongue ran over the tiny slit that now excreted a sweet moisture, much like the nectar of the ripest of fruits. Then, without warning, her tongue darted into Rina's love hole, traveling up her walls and excreting as much of the sap as she could. She wouldn't let up and she wouldn't stop. This was her moment. She would have satisfaction. They both would...

There was this nature of Venus that was coming out that Akkarina had never seen before. She was forceful, dominant, possessive. It was like Venus was actually seeing red; literally and though Akkarina was being resistant, namely because she had other things on her mind, per usual. Such as training, moving, trying to figure out what to do with her new powers and abilities. her aura was stronger, and when aroused, it becomes almost like a wave of moisture that envelopes the room. This clashed with Venus' aura, and despite Akkarina's best efforts, her body had succumb to the motions and weight of Venus' body upon her own. Her pushes slowly morphed into grabs; nails scraping the hot flesh of Venus' arms and back. When she get aroused, it seemed that Venus would get hotter than she would when she's angry; or maybe that was just Akkarina's thoughts upon the subject.

Each kiss produced a slight hiss from the heat mixing with the cool water that was Venus and Akkarina, respectively. The saliva snapped, popping into the mouth of Rina, in which she licked her lips, gathering that sweet mouth juice for her own enjoyment. Akkarina could take a break and enjoy her time with her lover for a little while, right? I mean, Akkarina was a driven woman, and it seems that Venus had found some spark and drive of her own. She was silent and direct, knowing just what she was doing as if planning this strike from the year that they were away from each other. The kisses to the jaw line and neck, sizzled as the heat radiated with the water of Akkarina's flesh, creating more misty steam that wafted through the room a if a hot shower were in session. Akkarina groaned and shifted as the Astellian sucked and then bit her neck, leaving what seemed to be a burning mark if a Lover's Claim. Her fingers gripped at the back of Venus' neck, carrying strands of hair along with it, tightening the follicles around her fingers.

Venus' warm body was moving possessively as if trying to subdue the aquatic temptress. Lips teased the flesh of Akkarina as almond shaped eyes, composed of upwards of a thousand colors, spiraling in random motions that would be forever unpredictable, glanced down at the red eyed love of her life as her soft lips wrapped around the hardened nipples; the bubbling of the heated water tickling her nipple, which could only give some type of insight to how the rest of the night would go. "Mmm.." Akkarina's lips betrayed her composure and broke the silence between them. After this, soft breathy moans spilled from the woman's lips as she arched into the licking of her belly button and even giggled, breaking out of her shell for at least a moment. She shivered and laughed as her navel was blown into, squirming and batting at Ruby's hair.

Akkarina gasped a bit as Venus' lips came into contact with her foot. It was a very weird feeling and at that moment, she didn't know if she was into it. The good thing about being Maridian, was that no matter how hard and vigorous she trained and how tough her flesh was, it was still always moist and soft as if soaked in baby oil. But as the kisses continued, Akkarina found that this was more of a turn on that she had originally thought. She writhed slightly and licked her lips, her hands instantly moving to play with her breasts and nipples while enjoying the sight of Venus' lips upon her feet and powerful and muscular legs. It wasn't so much the feeling - sure that was great too- it was the visual of seeing the Portal user on her knees and kissing her feet, legs, thighs; moving on up and worshiping every part of the woman's body. The room was so hazy that it was almost hard to actually see through the thick heated and humid haze. But, Akkarina could actually see better in situations like this, even though her senses are perfect. With water around, her already super high senses would be spiked even more, making the pleasure her woman gave her irresistible.

Akkarina gasped and squealed as Venus' lips came into contact of her already dripping womanhood; the Maridan blood making her usually always wet, but turned on, she becomes extremely lubricated. This, coupled with the hot lips of Venus caused the water to boil and bubble, which created this vibrating sensation that caused her to arch and spread her legs even more. Her hands returned to play in the hair of Venus, while her legs bowed and rested her feet upon Venus' shoulder blades. She could already feel that this was going to be an amazing night, but just how amazing, she had no clue. Fate, huh? Something she's very accustomed to..

By this point, The Crimson eyed beauty heard nothing. She saw nothing; Nothing but her goal. Nothing But Akkarina wriggling beneath her in pure ecstasy. Nothing else in the world mattered in that moment. It was the fate that had consumed her mind and plagued her body; A fate that she would submit to through actions of sheer dominance. The air would become thick, after only moments of their shared and intensified kisses. Thick with emotions held back since their last encounter; Thick with the aftermath of their clashing aura's Venus' intense body heat battling with Akkarina's aquatic energy, resulting in steam that would soon fill every corner of the small room. Venus could feel her partners hands on her, but she couldn't feel the sensation of being pushed, only the tingling that came with skin contact between the two. This moment was certain. It was hers, and nothing would take it away from her.

A thin stream of saliva trailed between the lips of the two as Venus willed herself to break her face away from the Maridian Queen's. But she didn't stray far, as her lips immediately traces Rina's jawline, misting kisses down to her neck,  where she would nibble, and lick, as if prepping the woman for when she bit down, hard. After claiming the skin between her teeth, Akkarina would feel the suction of her lover, sucking hard on the side of her neck, in a fashion that was likely to leave a slight bruise. She would then release her, however; Slowly running her tongue along the mark as if attempting to heal the damaged skin.

Akkarina would know on this day who she was; Where she belonged. Venus would be sure of it. Her lips continued to explore the Maridian's body as if on a brand new voyage, seeking depth and wonders never before seen. She offered a devilish grin to her partner, before flicking her tongue over the now sumbissive woman's nipples, taking them between her lips and savoring the flavor of her skin as her own nipples hardened against the woman's flat belly, which she immediately covered in kisses on her way to her ultimate destination. She slowly poked her tongue into the womans naval, laughing playfully as she blew into her belly button to dry it out, and repeated the process all over again.

She skipped over the true prize, and slid all the way off the bed, looking at the feast that lay before her. Her bottom lip was claimed between her teeth as images of what she would do to the woman flashed in her mind, and within seconds, she was on the prowl once more. Lowering to her knees, Venus took a tender grasp of Akkarina's shin, and smiled before planing a single kiss on the bottom of the woman's foot. Every inch of Rina's body belonged to her, and there wasn't an inch that wasn't beautiful and that she didn't love. She would prove this, as she kissed her way up the woman's foot, with every bit of tenderness she had shown to her stomach. Ankle... Shin... Thigh... Not a single spot would go neglected as Venus catered to the woman's lower body just as she had the upper. And then, she arrived.

A single kiss to Akkarina's womanhood would serve as a notice: Now the games begin...

Akkarina surely missed her Venus and she loved the fact that she was in the woman's presence again. But, her current mindset wasn't showing her deepest most feelings. Showing them would cause a distraction. What if someone tried to use Venus against her? What would these needless emotions cause her? So much damage could be caused by this thing called 'love' that Akkarina had avoided for so long. Zara caused her to break this habit with her influence, but Venus had genuinely gained Akkarina's heart. Every since returning, she was better at keeping herself composed and cold hearted, something a warrior should always be. Despite Venus' best efforts, Akkarina has maintained her disposition. Even as she stared out the window, it seemed that Venus would leave the woman alone to her own devices, boy was Akkarina wrong..

"Venus! What are you doing?!" Akkarina yelped out as she was grabbed quickly and strongly by Venus by her waist. Her own heat colliding with the cool nature of Akkarina's own body. It seemed that Venus was now taking what she wanted. Being Oblivious and all into her training and getting stronger, she had completely looked over the subtle hints that Venus had displayed during their travels. She was so forceful and quick, barely getting the Maridian the time to react to what was going on and to try and slow the heated woman down a bit. The woman gasped as Venus locked the door and yanked the only clothes that Rina was wearing off of her now, even more fit and tight body. "Venus!! Wait!" Akkarina spoke, but the words landed upon deaf ears. The crackle and popping of the clashing auras only intensified as Akkarina looked into the woman's eyes. They were so red and bright. One could mistake this for anger, but it seemed to only equate to passion; raw and unbridled.

She gulped as she was pushed down on the bed and pounced by a now **** Venus. God, her body had gotten much better over the year she had been away. Rina pushed up against Venus to try and throw her off of her. But, with that deep kiss, and roaming hands, her struggle began to get weaker. They connected in ways that many was unable to, but Akkarina's mind was swarmed with other things. But, slowly that was changing, slowly that was breaking. The feeling of the woman on top of her was almost overwhelming. It seemed the true natures of the woman had finally aligned. Fire, much more violent and possessive than water. Though, Water resists the urge of fire until it melts and submits. Akkarina's groans of nonacceptance, soon turn into slow and almost held back moans as her pushes soon softened.

What a day it had been... Venus sighed upon their arrival in the small apartment. It was far from the most luxurious place she had ever stayed, but it was comfortable, and symbolic of both their accomplishment, and an opportunity to rest. For at least a few more hours, there would be no more walking. No more objectives, and no more stress. But their arrival gave birth to something else as well... Venus watched as Akkarina lay Cammy down on her bed, and as her eyes settled on the Maridian, something began to release. She felt her skin growing hot, and her breath growing shallow. It was a familiar feeling, but one she hadn't experienced in so long... She could feel the heat radiating from her pores, and the longer she looked at the woman before her, the worse it got.

Without so much as a word, she grabbed Rina by her wrist, and a light sizzling sound could be heard, as her heated skin made contact of the water creature. She pulled Akkarina out of the child's room forcefully, and into the room that the two shared. She released her arm, and  turned away only long enough to close and lock the door. When she turned around, there was an intensity in her narrowed, crimson red eyes that was hard to place. Anger, perhaps? The question would be answered quickly as Venus grabbed the belt that held Akkarina's Kimono, and yanked at the string, forcing it open before she pushed her onto the bed. There was the answer. It wasn't anger that possessed the Crimson Eyed Beauty. It was lust. It was a craving that had been held inside her for over a year, and no force on earth would hold it back a minute longer.

In what appeared to be only the flash of a second, Venus' kimono hit the floor, and she rushed to Akkarina's side, forcing her lips against her partners as her hand instantly began wandering the body that it had missed so much. She massaged the woman's petite breasts as she held herself up on her other arm, attacking Akkarina's tongue with her own. Every moment only intensified Venus' heat, causing the glow in her eyes to intensify as the sound of water hiting a hot pan on the stove overtook the sounds of moans being muffled into the Maridians parted lips.

. . . .Reappearing  as if the woman had already been there, Akkarina was at the tiny apartment that they had resided in before they left previously. Akkarina's arrival made no mark upon the room, no winds shifted the sheets or curtains, nothing had changed within the room; it was indeed as if she was there the whole time. It was a gift of hers, provided by the powers of her father. Laying the child down on the bed and tucking her in nice and comfortably, Akkarina moved to look out of her window and sighed. She missed the Furian Kingdom, and all that happened there, taking a deep breath to sooth her mind.
