Welcome to the World of Pokemon!

For this rp, we're going to use aspects from the Pokemon Red/Blue Game Boy games, the anime, as well as a few ideas of my own! Here are a few ideas to help you out in your Journey


Money and Shopping:

Currency for each character will be held in an account accessible by Pokedex. This Currency, (hereafter referred to as PC) will be visible by your post count. When you earn PC, I'll add to your post count, and when you spend PC, I'll take it away. posting will not add to your post count, as long as you're posting in the Pokemon board, or the OOC. Characters in the Pokemon rp will not be permitted to post outside of these two locations, as to keep the currency amounts accurate.

Players can purchase TMs from the TM shop, an app in their pokedex. (http://macabreofwriting.createaforum.com/pokemon/tm-store-2104/) careful! TMs can be expensive!


The Pokeshops in each town will be posted in the descriptions, along with the prices of available items. Simply include what you wish to buy in your posts, and I'll deduct the PC from your pokedex at my next availability.


Pokemon Battles

Battles will be treated like spars in any other rp. I was hoping to use a dice system to aid in determining success of attacks, like I did in a previous rp, but this site has no such system, so I'm leaving it up to trainers to battle responsibly, and within reason.


Pokemon Contests

The rules for each contest will be different. They'll be presented at the time your character signs up for the Contest, and it will be up to you to come up with your own appeals. Judging will be more critical at some contests than others.
