Chuckling, she shook her head and looked over the waters. "Because I don't see a point in harboring ill nature towards humans. I was always taught to never bask in hatred for something that happened when humans could not understand. As for my dying, well, we all die sometime. I've already died before, so a second time would most likely be less... Painful." She shrugged and walked up to the edge of the waters, kneeling down and placing her fingers in it's cool refuge. When he called her beautiful her cheeks turned a soft red and she smiled a bit more down at the water. "Well thank you.. " She straightened up and pulled her ribbon from her wrist, tying up her lengthy hair. Her heart was thudding in her chest and she couldn't quite figure out why. Shaking her head at the feeling, she pulled her dress over her head and tossed it to the ground behind her. It wasn't odd for people to go swimming in their underwear in this time, that's how they normally did it. She slowly slipped into the water and turned around to look at him, giggling a bit. "Do you want to come in? I know that outfit probably isn't the most comfortable.."

"Good. Good. I wouldn't want to contaminate such perfect waters ignorantly." I smiled at her until she got to the part about, how all is certainly doomed by the outside nature of evil that pressed its way in. The phrasing made me almost turn completely into her bodyguard. Perhaps her barrier extends to lengths as far as keeping out my own demons... a world where my deal is safer. Fair. "Hm. Most people don't tend to have such qualms with a smile while talking about a conditional death of their part." My hands felt secure to hers, not unstable like usual. I found her comforting as my friend. "Elvira, I very much so envy your ability to befriend your own Judas. You're like a martyr in a sense." When we got to the lake, I was calm as the waters were. Silently gazing across crystal clearings. "They're beautiful, such as yourself."

Elvira looked to Ibuki for a moment and a soft smile curved plush flesh. She could see his concern but said nothing as she slipped her arm into his. Slender limbs began to carry her, guiding him with her as she looked in front of her. "It's just a little ways up.. It's not attached to the mill either, so it's not used for drinking water." Twining her unoccupied fingers in red locks, she thought to herself quietly as they walked. Her eyes scouring the world around them. Though she loved this place, she had wanted to start over. Yet she had been longing for this place some how as well. Home sick much? She giggled a bit at the thought and tilted her head, nodding to the people who waved. "Humans are very.. Less observant than most creatures.. So it's easy to be someone else by simply changing one's appearance.. I guess that's why I worry about these people, because a child can deceive them. Which makes them vulnerable to attacks by creatures. But, without their knowledge of course, I sustain a barrier around this place. Those with evil intent can't barge in here now. So even if I'm not here, they should be alright. Unless I die, then they're kind of out of luck then." She said with a light chuckle, smiling a bit more.

*As she described the moment of the birth of her burns, she looked deeply saddened. The treachery of a thousand friends hurts more than the hottest flames. I can see how it would be hard to cry in pain for what seared her skin. Her childhood was just one large chapter of life, leading up to a large betrayal, almost unforgivable. I sought out in my mind, what more I could do to ease her pain, but found myself coming up short in thought. There was nothing to do for her, but allow her to heal and recover. She spoke back up and brought my troubled heart back to jubilation and compromised for a small smirk. "Yes, Yes. I'd love to view the waters here. Before humans became the monsters they justified to kill. Care to court my arm, or is that considered indecent at this time?" *Slowly pops out my arm and opens it for her. "Now, where is this lake of which you speak of?"

Though Elvira was keen on her senses, she had hardly noticed anything around her but the sky for the moment. Yet when she felt a hand on her back, she tilted her head a bit to look at Ibuki. His words rang upon her mind, bringing about a soft look of sorrow before she looked away. "I've always been the one to take care of these people... Which makes it hurt even more.. That they so quickly burned me." She whispered, looking down before she ran her fingertips to the side of her hair to tuck it behind her ear. "There was so much pain involved.. But I did not cry out.. Even as the fire licked at my skin and craved for my taste." She muttered, looking back in front of her before she smiled a bit. "Let's go." She said quietly, keeping that soft smile upon plush lips, slender legs carrying her a little ways from the house. For a moment she paused and looked to the side. "The water.." She muttered, looking to him once more. "The water from earlier.. It was murky and tainted.. Years of evolution hasn't done this world's natural resources any good." She said lightly, holding out her hand to him with a brighter smile. "So how's about I show thee a water that's untainted." She suggested.

"What to see first..." I didn't quite think that far ahead, I was more ensnared in the thought of untold adventure for the meanwhile. But what was to come next was easily decided for us. Where there is sickness, there is healing. Who am I to chose my leisure over the life of another? Those who are destined with power, are destined to be at the will of the people. I followed quickly after the bunch, though halted at the door, not wanting to be intruisive on a family I had never met before. That kid was so typically adorable. However when I stood against the outside of the house, I realized the fatal mistake of leaving some of my tattoos exposed. I locked the images under my skin and covered myself up with the stretch of my long coat.

When Elvira finally came out of the sick womans house I greeted her with a warm smile that rose from my very own lips. She looked at the sky, and basic human instinct led me to do the same. The skies were by far much more appealing and attractive and blue. So pure, in comparison to the brightest of modern morning skies. "The Mother." *I took a small moment to clear my throat. The soft winds made my tongue dry. "I think you, a brilliant doctor." My hand patted her back once, then twice. "Was thy childhood always the town Doctor? Did you not wish it a burden?"

Upon exiting her home, she found herself in a state of serenity. Only because it was the place she felt at home at, despite how they had treated her the first time around. Humans were afraid of what they didn't understand, so it was obvious they would've reacted in such a way. Blinking a few times when she heard his string of questions, she looked up at him and chuckled. "Remember to use Ye.." She whispered, looking out for a moment to make sure that no one was around before she decided to answer his questions. "In ten years, I do not know. I live by the day. As for time traveling, I did that by accident, so I'm sure I probably wont continue that unless it's for leisure. I keep track of my years, I'm already getting along in age, but we don't age as quickly as humans do." She stated this as they walked, looking out at nothing before she slipped her arm around his and chuckled a bit. "So, what would ye like to see first?" She asked lightly, looking up at him. Though it wasn't long in the walk before she felt herself being bombarded by tiny arms. Currently green orbs turned down to the small curly red haired child who was seemingly frightful. He whined and sniffed,"Elvira!" He whined.

She quirked a brow and rested her unused hand atop his head. "What is it Samuel?" It seemed she knew the child. Samuel sniffled and choked on his sobs before being able to speak once more. "Mother's gotten sick again, can ye help her?" It was those words that always made her wary, so she hesitated, but in seeing his sorrow stricken face; she couldn't help but to nod. "I guess ye will see a friend's home first before anything else.." She whispered to Ibuki with an apologetic smile. Leaning down, she picked Samuel up and her longer strides carried her quickly to the boy's house. It looked similar to her own, but had stones atop it and was mainly built of stone rather than wood like her's. Peeking inside the house, she stepped inside and gently settled Samuel down so he could lead her to his mother, when she saw the sickly woman she gave a small smile. Seeing her coughing and wheezing, she stepped forward and pressed her fingers to the slightly older woman's forehead. "Ah.. Thine's only got a small sickness." She said gently, smiling a bit before she reached into her bag, making sure not to dive deeper than she needed to as Sketch would push up the vile she needed.

Placing it on the table, she looked to the child. "Make sure thine's mother mixes this in with her milk every morning for three days. She will feel a lot better in that time." She smiled and he nodded, her eyes trailing to the woman who smiled weakly. "Get lots of rest and drink lots of water." It was as though she was the community's doctor, yet she had never really seen it that way. She was just helping people, which is what she liked to do. Turning on her heels, she left the house and stood outside for a moment, looking up at the skies.

"To be a stranger. I'm quite well versed in that already actually." *I moved along side her and kept her company as the ground below us squeaked in old wooden sing-song. With sweeps of my legs, I kicked the air infront of me in almost a silly fashion, though in reality, trying to get used to the feeling of overals and dress shirts, and new shiny shoes. Not to mention the fabric of the over coat made my hands itchy, but at least I had experience with my sweater so I could ignore it better. In our walk outside I saw a rich landscape. It amazed me indefinately, and took a trace of my breath away. This air.. It's new. Untainted, and pure. I could smell the chance of encountering wildlife, and sparkling lakes that glistenened like a chrome pool. I envied the subtlety of the moment. There was a moment to place my hand on her back, or escort her in some timely fashion but I wasn't quite sure on her tradition. Simply thinking of respect for women at the time and age. So my hands remained in their overcoat pockets, building up heat from the wool like material. With parched lips I grew some nerve and asked her in a calm way. "Where do you see yourself in, say ten years? Will you keep time traveling? How will you know you're old?"

Chuckling at the shoulder bump, she looked to the black goop and scrunched her nose. "It already knows how to move, but it doesn't mess with you if you don't mess with it. I guess it prefers solitude." Shrugging her shoulders, she looked to him and quirked a brow. "Well.. I could show you around the town, just remember how to speak." Crawling to her feet, she turned on her heels to face him and smiled brightly. "There's not as much as the place you come from, but it's homely." Thinking to herself, she chewed on her lip and folded her hands together behind her. "Okay, you'll ne a reason as to why you're here if someone asks.. So.." She scrunched her nose and chuckled a bit. "You and I don't look alike at all. So I can't say you're family. How's about this, you're a foreigner who's a long time friend of my family back home. So you came to visit. If they ask why you haven't visited before, just say that you've never had the time or expenses." Giddy with glee that he had come home with her, she was close to skipping as she pranced out of her room and down the hall. Fingers brushing against parchment that hung up as she moved through the house and to the front door. "Shall we?"

"Your room is frightening?" *I followed her into the safety of her room and looked about. There were things that even so reminded me of my room back in... I think modern times. Formulas scattered amongst the walls and floor, they reminded me of my drawings. Then there was some sort of blackened goop in the furthermost corner. It made me think of it as a black hole. "I... Hope that thing doesn't learn how to mobilize in the middle of the night either. Lest we awake to its stomach." When she sat down, I felt inclined to sit down next to her as well. She cutely crossed her legs and I couldn't help but to give a chuckle to that. I gave her the ol' shoulder to shoulder bump to show friendship, but didn't know what to make of this situation exactly. "So, what would you like to show me first? The towns? And past friends?" I smiled and looked to Sketch. "Besides Sketch of course!"

Elvira looked around her house for a moment before looking back to him. "Just right? Ah well, I think it's homey." She giggled a bit as fingers folded around the cloth of her dress, lifting it from the floor as she walked down the hall. "I can show you my room, but I'm not too sure of if it would frighten you or not. I don't know how they depict witches in the future times." She said, quirking a brow as she stood at her door before opening it and stepping inside. The innards of her room consisted of her large cauldron, piles of books everywhere, vials and beakers, just about everything one would need to do spell casting and witchery. Settling down on her bed, she crossed her legs and looked towards the door. "Nothing in my room will eat you.. I don't think.." She looked around and scrunched her nose. "Just stay away from the black sludge in the corner. That WILL eat you. Still haven't figured out what it is.. Came about when I messed up a potion." She chuckled a bit and rested her hands on her calves, smiling.

"I'll miss your true looks Elvira." *Her skin changed from that golden tan to common white, littered with freckles. She was still beautiful, though I felt shame for her to hide who she was. Those eyes that I dreamed of, and stared at for hours dissapated like murky water through my hands. Fast, but slow enough to realize what was slipping away. Then her fingers crept up to mine and held them to what felt like a working heart, equipped with the most fragile of all beats. But then the resounding beats grew louder as I felt like I dropped through the deepest abyss. It was okay. She held onto me. Arms wrapped smoothly around me. I hugged her back, closing my eyes softly as my body eased. However, when my eyes reopened, they awoke to mid air floating. Not the easiest of things to get used to, though I wasn't afraid of landing as long as I would have taken the fall for her. She made our feet finally touch the floor and I didn't regret any of that experience. I looked about the wooden cabin with the slightest awestricken face. It was a simple place. Like mine. That's all I had ever dreamed of in a house. Sketch made his appearance and I literally did feel like I was at home again. I wouldn't have been surprised, this being Elvira's house that there were doodles in the floorboards that Sketch had made. Yet again, she could have replaced them or something. "Your house... It's.... Just right."

Elvira smiled softly and blinked a few times,"Oh I almost forgot.." Looking to her hair, she scrunched her nose and muttered something before a light orange-ish color began to leak through her white pearlesuqe locks. Soon enough, her dark flesh whitened and was covered with freckles, even her eyes changed to a light green. She didn't look like Elvira at all anymore. "There, all done. I can't have dark skin and white hair, it's not normal for humans I guess you would say. That and my eyes alone would give me away." Smiling brightly, she opened the vial and grabbed his hand in her unoccupied one, holding it tightly but gently as she ran the liquid over their hands and whispered something beneath her breath. In that moment, everything around them began to melt away before they were suddenly falling. Though she had already been through this, she worried he'd be afraid, so she pulled him against her and smiled down at him as they fell in the darkness. Once everything stopped passing them by, they stopped short of the ground as she quickly shut her eyes and caused them to levitate. Letting out a startled sigh, she straightened up and got to her feet, making sure he was on his feet as well before she uncast the levitation.

Quirking a brow as she looked around for a moment, she giggled. "Well.. This is my old home.." Surrounding them was an old log cabin type house. Along the walls were cast iron tools and various paintings, pictures, and etchings. Everything was either wooden or metal. Looking to her bag, she reached inside and pulled sketch out, putting him on her shoulder as she snickered a bit at his protesting yawn.

"Love... That is, an ironic name." My head was turned down and looking at my nifty old slip on shoes that looked as pristine and immaculate as ever. If there were things that I took care of, it was my apparel. Though people might have many clothes, I wear mine better. I should cash in on that quote. Smoke surrounded and bound me in confusion. Afterwards, I looked... Good... Stylish. If I could restate what I said earlier. I wear my clothes better. All I needed was a black top hat and no one else could be as snazzy as I. My fingers looted through my pockets to see if anything had occupied them previously, but instead I found what I had almost forgotten in my other set of clothes. Withdrawing the brush from my pocket, I calmly stuffed it into the inside of my coat in the little pocket by my breast. I looked over to her new wear and found myself transfixed in her newfound beauty. "I like your dress. It looks lovely on you." Then she grasped my collar and took hold, turning it into place. She was delightfully close and unexpected. I smiled in content. "Thoust be kind."  Couldn't help but scratch my head in a quick effort to change. Love returned and I was easy. She called us lovebirds, but I didn't mind it. Most demons try to stir trouble. But then she licked Elviras lips... When she is right... beside me... "Um. I am ready."

Elvira tilted her head a bit when he spoke, quirking a brow as she chuckled a bit. "Love isn't one to kill, she merely uses for her own enjoyment." Watching him trail away, she leaned against the counter as she awaited the demoness' arrival. "Her name is Love. Ironic, right? A demoness that uses her own name to pretty much exclude everything she is in a simple introduction of her name." Shrugging her shoulders a bit, she picked up her bag and tossed it over her shoulder, picking up the vials and mixing a few of the contents. Once she had a prismatic shine coming from the vial, she held it in her hand and blushed a bit when she felt him kiss her forehead. "It is troublesome to be friends with a Demoness.. But, she's a good friend when she's not playing around." She giggled softly and looked him over for a moment then looked herself over. With a quick snap of her fingers, the familiar smoke wrapped around her and Ibuki this time. His clothes appeared folded on the counter as he was soon wearing a pair of black slacks, a white button up shirt, with black suspenders and a black jacket. Any contents he had been carrying now transferred into the coat safely. She herself wore a green long sleeved velveteen dress.

Reaching up, Elvira lightly fixed his collar and smiled a bit. "There, as long as you don't speak like you do right now, then you'll be fine. Remember, Thine, Thee, Ye, Thou, and Nay." Turning her eyes to the red and black flames that swirled up once more, Love stood there with a cocked brow and chuckled. Alright love birds. The cost is clear and I'm off to go visit a playmate. Good day to you fellows. She grinned that toothy grin and leaned forward, licking Elvira's lips which caused the smaller woman to squeak and turn a few shades of red. Pouting as Love vanished, she sighed and shook her head. "Alright then, shall we go?"

"Heh. Just for the most part, the demons I know tend to mislead..." I spoke nervously in my own domain. My arms crossed themselves with anticipation of the demon to become. When the hellspawn appeared, my eyes would swear that I saw flames turned to flesh. Like a spiraling current of blood forming into red naked legs. Then the thing had conversed with Elvira in a fashion as if they had been pals forever. It was all fine and simple, though certainly odd seeing how most demons that entered my house wound up dead. But by all means, a friend of Elvira's is a friend to me, and most certainly welcomed as well. A... Toy? A lover!? This chick must have issues... Though I don't want to be a toy to Elvira... I hope that's not what she really thinks I am. Secretly at least... My skin felt like it was swarming with insects. Crawling up to the very tips of my fingers, rushing towards Love as if she was the cause of it all. One mere demon made me cringe. I'll never get used to this. In the eyes of the seductress I found doubt. Doubt I commonly found in myself, yet you can't blame me for it. I stared at the devil in question. For some reason, my next set of words came out poorly. "Don't kill me. Alright?" That had to have been awkward. My body slumped down into my stool as I scratched my head. "Nevermind, nevermind. Nice to meet you!" Then she poofed. Just up and vanished. She should have at least said goodbye. "A handful? Hah, not everyone can have a demon for a friend! I'm proud you're able to manage that Elvira. As for your potion, I am ready when you are. Well, not quite but for the most part yes." I got off my seat and walked past her with a welcomed smile and proceeded to enter my bed room. With a turn to the right, I gazed down a bust of Apollo. Opening its head in a long severed creak, I removed a paintbrush hidden away inside of it, and placed it in a hidden sleeve of my sweater. With a quick scoop, I grabbed a stack of papers and placed it in a leather back pack I slung over my shoulder. Returning, to Elvira with my hands in my pocket I looked about. "Is that demon back? What is her name anyways? All I heard were terms of endearment!" I gave her the usual smile and nonchalantly kissed her forehead before returning to the stools at the table, swiveling around to face her with a small blush.*

"I could show you a few tricks on containment and everything else when it comes to demons. In fact.." She shuffled off to her room before returning with her bag. Settling a few vials and some black stone chalk on the table, she moved the bag aside and smiled at him. "Not all demons are murderous.. Still bad, but not as bad I guess you could say. The Salem Witch Trials have already started, I was the first witch to be burned remember?" She gave a sad smile before she picked up the black chalk and stooped down. "This will burn away with the summoning, so don't worry about a mess." She quirked a brow as she drew different symbols and shapes into a rune. Getting up, she placed the chalk down and picked up a vial of white dust and poured it around the rune. She then picked up a vial filled with blue liquid and scattered it on a few symbols. White locks fell over her shoulders as she placed her hands in between the lines of the rune and recited a scripture in a tongue that went unrecognized. In that moment, flames of red and black spiraled upwards and soon revealed a hardly covered red woman. Her locks nothing more than flames as was the tip of her tail.

Horns raised from her cranium and she held blazing ember eyes. I was wondering when you'd play with me again Elvira darling. The words spilled from plush pillows like smooth silk over flesh. Straightening up, Elvira giggled a bit and held her hand out, the red phalanges twining around her dainty palm as the demoness slipped from the rune and looked to Ibuki. Oh my my what have we here? Your lover perhaps? Or maybe your toy? Elvira blushed deeply and shook her head rapidly. "You know better than that, Love! I don't have toys as you do." She sighed and looked to Ibuki with a gentle smile. "Ibuki, this is Love. The Demoness who was kind to me when I was burned. She's very mischievous and is a temptress as well.. But she is a friend." Love quirked a brow and licked her lips, wrapping her arm around Elvira's waist and pulling her close against her. Her tail wrapped around the shorter woman and she peered at him. A pleasure. So you're of modern times.. How quaint.. Has my little dove been giving you troubles? I'll be sure to punish her later. Elvira squeaked when her head was tilted up and she felt the slick appendage on her cheek. "Loooove! Stop it! I'm going to be taking Ibuki to our era.. So I need you to make sure no one's in the house, okay?"

Love pouted and crossed her arms, sighing deeply as she scrunched her nose. Fine.. I'll play later. Anything for my little dove. She grinned that toothy canine'd grin and soon enough, vanished in flames, nothing left of the rune or anything. Elvira chuckled a bit and rubbed her cheek from where she had been licked. "She's hard to handle some times.. Demonesses are often hard to handle anyways, I'm just glad she's only one of seduction and temptation rather than a hellish one I've come across before. When she gets back, if it's all clear, then we'll go. I can concoct the same potion that got me here but reverse the ingredients and make sure the time is correct this time."

"yes, I understood what you were referring to." when she referred to summoning witchcraft I would be straight out lying if I said I wasnt interested. In my time on this earth, I have conjured thousands of apparations by my natural birthright, but never really through ritualistic means. Yes, I've made the occasional summoning pact bound by blood and hell knows what. "Quite actually I would like to pick your brain about the witches summoning process. I'd I'm going to be accursed with talent in a certain field, I might as well learn and stride to become a master of the art." hm. That certainly made me think... Then she went on about possible options for our days activities. I heard when, and looked up joyously at the thought of switching roles for the moment. "Your era? That is intriguing... Perhaps it could help me see what it was like back then. Though we would need to stay somewhere remote from any main towns, in fear that a demon might alert people In the night and thusly start the Second Salem Witch Trials. But besides all that I would love to. How do we get there??"

Elvira quirked a brow and laughed a bit, shaking her head. "I don't think that's the case. With child birth, there's a lot of pain, so the women hold their husband's hand or hands and end up breaking one or both with the firm grip they have. So, I don't think the men having a firmer grip would do them any good." Tilting her head a bit when he apologized, she shook her head and offered him a small smile. "I've dealt with worse, so it truly is alright. Ever seen a witch screw up a summoning? Yeah, now THAT'S some horrible stuff." She had nearly finished her breakfast when he complimented her cooking, a light blush crossing her cheeks as she looked at him curiously. "Alright, how's about this.. Since I'm not much of a morning person, you cook breakfast and I'll cook the other two meals. Sound good to you?" She giggled a bit before she stood up and leaned down, picking up the left over bone from Sketch's breakfast. After tossing that, she placed her dish in the sink before she examined everything for a moment. It wasn't too much different from back home. Just a different way of pumping and there wasn't a basin of water either.

Tilting her head a bit, she spun on her heels and crossed her hands behind her back. "So, how's about I take you some where today? Or rather, some when." She chuckled a bit and looked up at the ceiling, rocking on the balls of her feet for a moment. "I could take you to China in the early dynasties.. Or to Sweden in it's first years.. Oh! I could even take you to my time to where Sketch and I use to live. Though I'd certainly have to alter your attire to match for back then, and you'd have to change your use of tongue for when you spoke to anyone." She giggled a bit and looked at him with a bright smile. "Or I could show you how to make a dragon with potions and fire."

"Hah! Breaking our hands? That would really be our fault for not having a firm enough grip." I conjured up a glass of orange juice the more natural way with a glass and a carton. It was called for after consuming that piece of toast. With a sip, it tasted pleasant consistant with pulp. I placed it with a clink on the counter as I looked back up to her. "I suppose I am a morning person when I take care of the spookies and the creepies quicker. Thanks for helping out with that last night by the way. They usually stay in my room, but there must have been a leak. Sorry about that." My hands calmly reached for the glass, taking in one more sip of orange juice. That's when I finally saw Sketch! Must've slipped from my line of vision all this time. My mind was raveled under what he might have said next, or drawn. But mentally, I digressed. "Oh no no. Please, I am no such cook. I simply make the same old common eatery as the next modern family kitchen. You Elvira, You are a cook!! So elegant and from scratch too. Mm. I don't want to miss out on another chance to taste your work again." I swiveled the liquid around in my glass before taking in the last of it. Gently placing it in the sink behind me without having to get up off my stool. My arms got slightly cold since the flames from the oven blew out, so I pulled the sleeves down over my forearms again.*
