Akiko looked at Max with a kind glance, "Yes it works rather well. Not use to being ale to touch anyone." She had a nervous glance about her as Vanity eyed her up, as if she was prey. "Nice to meet you." Although he seemed to just ignore her. "If you say so, Max."  She felt unsure of Vanity ever growing on her. He was much too rough and cold for her liking. Not that that would ever make her act curely she was a priestess after all. As Max entered the shadowy cave he decided to follow him in walking closely behind him. There was a nice cooling breeze. She couldn't wait to see how they all lived, what this cave truely looks like inside.

Maximus quickly caught Akiko as she finally made her way onto the platform; his hand holding gently to her forearm with a kind smile. Looking down to her hand with a smirk on his lips: baring all four of his elongated fangs. Looking back up to her as he spoke in a calm tone. "So the ring works." He looked back up to her with his crystal blue eyes. Softly meeting her own eyes as his hand gently released her arm. Dropping his arm to his side before turning to Vanity. His kind smile slowly fading as his glance changed to that of distaste for the man's presence. Vanity may have been the oldest and the only werewolf among them, but, he was the most animalistic in their ranks. Maximus may have prided himself on his animalistic heritage, but, that did not mean he lacked any civility. Vanity on the other hand was far from civil. He was a cold blooded, battle hardened, warrior. Max only letting out a sigh in return to the man's attitude. "Yes... This is Akiko. The newest member of our ranks."

Vanity slowly eyed over the woman as a dog would a bone: preparing to pounce. Yet, he remained calm: his golden eyes only taking in her measure for now. Only letting out a disapproved huff as he turned back towards the entrance to the cave. Calling back to them as he slowly faded into the shadows that lay within. "We will see what use she has for us." A faint chuckle escaping his lips before he was gone into the depths of the cavern. Maximus letting out another sigh as he turned back to Akiko. "I promise he gets better in time. He is a stubborn old man from times when women were only used for one thing. It's not all his fault." He said before turning back to the cave. "Follow me. I'll show you around" With that he began walking. Slipping deep into the cave as he carried her bag along with him.

Akiko followed Max up to the branch once he requested she through him her bag. She backed up a bit and started to run up to the branch until she seen the new figure. His appearance was slightly uncomfortable and Akiko just ran against the branch. She paused and looked at the two. The way he acted, this Vanity man, he was arrogant.

Akiko started over, running up and swinging across from the branch. She grabbed Max's hand at the end for security but quickly walked forward and letting go. Her hand immediately moved to up against her chest as her eyes looked down to the ring. Akiko still wasn't sure about touching another being, she was unsure of the ring being truly able to protect others from her curse.  Akiko looked over at Vanity and bowed a bit, "I am Akiko, it is nice to meet you.." Akiko also gave him a slight smile.

Max remained in his small wolven hybrid form as he turned back and handed her the bags. Only continuing to walk up the thin trail going back and forth over the mountains side. The higher they had gotten the more thin the trail would grow. Thousands of feet high to the mountains peak it seemed to be impossible to walk on. Only a large root poking out next to the landing in front of the cave. Working as a bar to swing out onto the landing. Max looking down to Akiko with an amused huff. "Sorry about all this.. It is a bit of a hassle, but, the hike and danger deter the public." With that he jumped up and swung off of the thick branch. Landing upon the small landing in front of the cave. Moving slightly to the side as he outstretched his arms. "Throw me your bags." He said so calmly as he waited for her.

One slowly emerged from the cave; his hair a mix of white and brow. His old, tired, golden eyes shot through the darkness as they grew closer to Max. Two massive gauntlets clutching the side of the cave as he looked out to Akiko: his large horns towering over his skull. "So this is her.... The healer." The voice scoffed out as if annoyed by the woman. Max only rolling his eyes in lament. Holding his hand out for Akiko. "Well, I was gonna wait, but, this is Vanity... The oldest one out of us." Max sighed out as he looked to Vanity. Vanity only scoffing in reply to Max's introduction. "You forgot strongest..."

Akiko bega to readjust her kimono, properly putting it on this time. As she worked on tying it she still felt uneasy. It wasnhe as not use to being without clothing I'm front of anyone.

"Sorry, I guess I am just a bit unsure yet. You are all still new to me. I usually waited to shift back once in the shrine..I suppose I am just a bit shy."

Akiko finished with her clothes but left off her shoes and socks. She had always loved to be bare foot rather then wear shoes. There was just something about being able to dog your toes into the dirt. Akiko looked over at Max then up at the  mountain's peak. It was coming up fast, and she could begin to feel herself getting nervous.

Akiko smiled to Max, "I can take my bag back now it you want."

Maximus only chuckled as he continued to walked; smelling the fear from her. she may not feared his power or his persona. Though she feared embarrassment. it was quite, but, very misguided. Max didnt not bother with ones looks. his own romantically driven though emptied from his mind long ago. even with these kind they were too different. they were animals. He was... Something different. He only spoke back to her in reply, but, never looked at her. "impressed...? Very. you have complete control over the blessing... That's more than I can say for Vanity. and you are a healer. you will be very useful. Though its odd..." He finally turned around as she held out the bag for him. Gently taking it from her hands; sliding it onto his shoulders. "do you realize you are an animal, Akiko. They are just bodies." His eyes never averting from her face as if he had not been the slight bit interested in her form. "no need to be embarrassed... Though, dont worry. the others dont feel the same way I do... They keep their clothes on."

He let out a laugh as he pulled the mask up to cover his face. speaking once more in a muffled tone. "but, if it does bother you..." As soon as he placed the mask on his face his body had changed to fit the mask. Growing the white hair once more over his body to conceal everything. a long white bushy tail hanging down. this form was just as small as his human form. not qute as massive as his original wolf form. also standing up much straighter as if he still was human. turning as he began to walk up the mountain trail. his tail gently waving back and forth. stopping to wait just a foot or two longer. keeping his back to her as she changed. "We are very close... Now we just have to get to the top." he spoke absentmindedly as he looked up to the tip of the mountain: seeing a small cave near the top. this was their home away from home.

As Max began to change back, his silky white coat disappearing and his bare skin now exposed Akiko averted her eyes to the sky looking up at some birds.  When he mentioned changing back she felt overwhelmed with an embarrassed feeling. Akiko sulked a bit and shook her head no at first. "He could just want to see me naked." She told herself giving him a sharp glance as he began to walk away from her. Akiko growled slightly and shook her head once more. "Them again he doesn't seem to be that type...I guess so." Akiko sighed as her mind pondered his request.

With the she began to shed. All her silky brown fur flooded from her body and her body shrunk in size; back to her human size. Her body completely exposed. Her face filled up with a tint of red as she knelt down to go through her bag to gather clothes to quickly put on. She pulled out a kimono and just threw it around her and quickly rushed up to Max.

"Hey, wait up! Are you still impressed? I trained hard. Can you hold this quick so I um can put this on? Please."

Akiko held out her bag while her other hand held together the front of the white and orange kimono. Her face still slightly pink.

"I don't want to meet everyone else...naked. After all they are all boys..."

Max only let out a huff in his wolven form as she had shifted; a loan groan escaping his lips. He always enjoyed watching their kind change. Something about abandoning their humanity seemed to amuse him in every sense. Maybe he was the only true animal. He only watched as she darted ahead; turning to follow. As he darted behind her he kept his distance: remaining completely silent. Only his white fur shining through the darkness of the woods to expose his position. Other than the white fur he completely avoid anything that would so much as make a sound; not even so much as stepping upon the twigs that lay on the earth.

As she stopped and he came upon her; he let out an amused huff. Slowing down the closer he got before letting out an amused huff. His large body standing over her as he spoke in that same rough tone. "So, you can change at will and maintain your composure as an animal... Consider me impressed. It must have took you a long time to really master it." They were much closer to the mountain now they they had reached the fork in the road.

With that he looked up to the top of the mountain; his fur beginning to shed from his body. His form slowly shrinking as he made his way back into a more human appearance. Though, as he changed back, he no longer had a shred of clothes on his body. The fact barely seeming to phase him as he looked over her wolven form. She was now much bigger than he was when he was in his human form. "Question is... Can you change back just as easy?" He spoke plainly as he began walking up the path of the mountain. It was cold, though, it did not seem to bother him. He would have to wait to change once they had reached their final destination, though, he seemed comfortable like this regardless.

Akiko tilted her head and said "well I guess so..." And she dropped her bags onto the path next to her. She backed up slightly and focused her energy, her body began to morph. Brown fur began to cover her body, which also grew in size. Her hands and feet became massive paws with black nails poking through the shiny brown fur. Her eyes were as golden as the sun.  Although she was slightly smaller then Max.

She left out a snarl exposing Max her pearly whites. Her fangs finely pointed and sharp as arrow points. Akiko shook her body off and picked her bag up by the strap using her mouth. With that she left out another snarl and streched. Barking out a slight 'woof' she darted ahead gracefully running along the trail before diving into the woods.

Akiko weaved in and out of trees. Darting through the woods making perfect time, avoiding the hunters and their prey so that she may not disrupt their game to much. She slowed down at the fork in the path that would lead up to the mountain trail. Akiko sat and dropped the bag in front of her to let out a howl so that Max may know her exact location. Akiko began to think to herself; "my control is probably the far best in the group...maybe I can help this Vanity learn his own."

An amused, though, almost filled, smirk crossed over his face as she began walking and asked her question of Vanity. A name rather fitting for the way he had acted. Though, unlike the rest of the pack, Max knew of Vanitys true name. His human name. He was an ancient creature. Once human. Now cursed by the wolf. Forsaking his once human nature long ago. Max's face drifting down to watch earth as he calmly walked behind her. A slight chuckle escaping his lips before speaking. "Well, Vanity is the only one of you four who are not in control in his transformation at all... He has to be the least needed, but, the strongest of us in pure strength. A force to be reckoned with, but, he has a bit of a temper.." it was clear Max did not fully approve of Vanity from the tone inhis voice and the way he presented himself.

Maximus only shaking his head as he shrugged off the thoughts. Looking back up to her with a smirk. "Though it is a curse of the werewolf... And of course the curse of an old grump as well." He could smell the hunters. Their blood tipped weaponry reaked through the thick woods. Looking back to her. "I may know much about you, but, I have yet to see your control in person... Change here. Well see if you can resist your hunters. Dont worry. If you cant I can stop you." He said as his form quickly burst through his clothes. Shifting into that of a massive wolf standing as a man. His large body hunched over as he groan in excitement. His fur as pristine white despite his black hair. Speaking in a much more rough tone. "Lets see it, then." He slammed down onto all four as he still towered over her mortal form. Still meeting her eye to eye.

Akiko looked at him left out a smile, the mask looked fitting for him. "Oh it looks rather...fetching." Akiko gigged a bit since having tried to make a corny joke. "Our village is a village of hunters. We make me memorabilia to honor the dead animals we hunt and kill. The wolf is a big part of this town's culture. Wolves fought by our sides so we honor them. For services rendered." Akiko tilted her head and itched her cheek.

"I can carry them, I am a big girl. Thank you though."

She looked to the mountain he spoke of it was a bit of a hike. She shook her head and looked at Max slowly walking around him and heading to the village path that led them outside into the wooded area. Most likely the hunters of the village would be out there hunting.

"Vanity? Oh that is right you did say something about another person. What's is he like?"

Maximus stood leaned against the tree; looking down to a mask he had bought in this small village. A hand made mask of a white wolf; causing an amused smirk to be permanently placed upon his lips. Exposing his canine-like fangs. He could tell just how heavily the wolven blood weighed on this village; despite it being kept as such a secret. They had their own... Subliminal imaging.  It was rather... Amusing. Though, as she spoke to him he only placed his new mask upon his face; turning to face her. His cold, blue, eyes peering through the shadows in the eye holes. Letting out a huff as he spoke out in an amused tone; holding against his face. "What do you think? I'm rather fond of it. You's have some interesting things in this village." He let out a chuckle as he dropped his hand to his side; still holding the mask in his hand. Exposing his flawless appearance once more. That smirk never leaving his lips.

He turned around and pointed up to a large mountain in the far distance in reply to her question. Speaking softly as he tapped the mask against his thigh. "If you are asking a final destination it is the peak of that mountain... The blue haired boy you previously met is off on training... So it will just be Vanity and Erron waiting for our arrival." He looked back to  her as he outstretched his free hand in a kind gesture. "Would you like me to hold your bags? After all. I can't ask you to carry all that. I do have some pride as a gentleman, after all." He always kept that kind demeanor in his face, but, it was obvious in the way he walked and the look in his eyes that it was only covering something more... Taxing. His cold eyes especially throwing off his lie of happiness.

Akiko struggled to come to terms with her leaving the village she called home. Her village was peaceful and of course Grandmama was more then capable of handling the village. Only six of the children currently, who were moonborn, had little control over their powers. Young pups although are much easier to manage and clean up after then the fully grown ones. There of course was also the men of the village the ones who did the hunting and help protect the village who definitely had the village under control.

It was still so hard, she would be away from all she knows. She would be constantly worried as well, but she needed this to become a better leader for her people. Akiko wanted to be stronger. Not only that she wanted her village to not have to hide in fear. This man, Max, he seems to know how to make this all a reality. He even found her the ring she needed to conceal her curse. For the first time she could touch another person. Embrace them even with out hurting them..

Akiko swung her bag over her shoulder and made her way down to the main hall of the shrine. She was raised here. Her family lived here for years. Not one has left, until today. The kids ran in to say their good byes, for once she could hug them back.

"Be good everyone, don't give Grandmama a hard time okay. Train hard. I will always believe in you."

The kids all full of tears cried their byes. An old women embraced Akiko, the woman too strong to show her saddness fought back her swelling eyes.."I believe in YOU Akiko. Come visit. Take care."

"I will Grandmama. I will.."

With the long good bye or at least it felt that way, Akiko excited the shrine. She traveled down the stone stairs and over to the tree in the middle of the town. A man dressed in very weirdly compared to the local attire waited there. "I am ready to leave, where is it we are going first?"
