A chuckle forms in the woman's throat as she listens to what Blaise said. "Cute little pet of my boss, if I have never met you in person, why do you not like me and how am I suppose to know that you are allergic to cats. Though it is a sad day because Simba will be staying with us." Turning to head out into the yard as Blaise walks away from her, Ziya continues on trying to find something to entertain herself without giving into the sleep that asked to claim her body.

"Hungry?" asked Blaise as she wrestled with the gas stove burner.

The many attempts to ignite the burner had all been in vain but the stubborn woman was still twisting the black knob. Three more tries later, she sighed in discontent and abandoned the pot of cold water only to retrieve a cellphone from her pocket. It was an older style of phone, flipping open at the middle to reveal a set of buttons with numbers on them. For whatever reason, she had not upgraded to any of the new phones that resembled tablets, just in a cuter, mini version.

"Two-" her eyes glanced at Ziya pointedly before correcting herself. "Three pizzas, large please. One supreme, one meat lovers and the other with only cheese." She paused, listening to the other person on the line. "No, I don't care about specials, that's what I want. And-" she stopped mid-setence when the person cut her off to read off the total bill.

Blaise sighed, irritated. "I am not finished, thank you. I also need a family sized salad with each of your dressings. Bread sticks, cheese sticks, and some fried pickles. "

She told the employee at the pizza restaurant their address and her phone number before hanging up and replacing her phone into her pocket.

"If you want something different then you will have to order it or give me the number so I can, " she said, her gaze back on the stove top.

Ziya did not get along with her, neither did Cammy. Not that she cared and at times she even enjoyed their awkward encounters. It gave her normality, something to distract her from other annoyances in her life.

With a perturbed frown, she glanced at the cat within Ziya's arms.

"Really? A cat?" she said, exasperated. "You know what allergies do to me? I swear, I'm not going to be able to breathe for weeks! Isn't Cam enough of a pet for you? I mean, goodness, all she needs is a collar and a chain."

There was more she could say on the matter but getting Ziya too pissed off did not seem like a bright idea and Ciaran would not appreciate it either.

Blaise turned her heal to Ziya and ventured into the room where Ciaran was busy speaking to a woman.

"I am sorry to disturb you, Ciaran but I just wanted to inform you that dinner has been ordered and will be arriving in a short amount of time. Will we have guests?" she asked, looking to the woman then back to Ciaran pointedly.

Slowly Ziya rose to find Simba sleeping on her chest with tiny purs. Somehow he managed to bring a smile to her face, even though he just joined the family. It turns out that what Zi truly wanted, in the deepest secret place in her heart and mind, unconditional love. Softly lifting the cat into her arms, cradled like a baby, she slowly ventures toward the kitchen where she last saw everybody, mostly because she wanted to eat something.....

It was easiest to describe Ciaran's powers as "illusions." But more specifically, his ability was to affect the nervous system of other individuals, more intensely after coming into physical contact with them. His ability of influence required a far greater amount of energy, and he preferred not to use it unless absolutely necessary. In fact, the only reason continuing to use that ability to create his mental block hadn't completely worn him out was because he didn't have to permeate the mind of another.

Evelyn's excitement at seeing his ability was understandable. He had imagined her to be quite a loner after her experiences growing up. She had probably never met another person with mutated abilities; Or rather, she had never gotten to know someone well enough to learn about their abilities.

Once he had shown Evelyn what he needed to show her, she confronted her with a question, which he answered with a very straight face. I'm simply saying that I will never be at the mercy of another person. No one, human, or mutant should be willing to accept that. I have no intention of "taking over" or colonizing humankind, but should they cast the first stone, know that I will be prepared to fight back..." His voice was stern, and unwavering. It was clear that he was dead serious. He wanted a world of peace, but if he was forced into a world of war, he intended to come out victorious.

Evelyn's next question brought a smile to the businessman's face. "The twins should have dinner prepared shortly. I'd be honored if you stayed to enjoy it with us." he looked around to see that everyone had scattered out. It seemed that the flight was finally having it's effect on them.  "And as far as what you can afford, on the salary i intend to offer you I can assure you, you'll be able to have plenty more than a meal a day, should you accept the position, that is."

Evelyn was clueless about the natures of Ciaran’s power, not to mention she didn’t even know what his ability was to begin with. Her hands clenched the arms of the chair once again as Ciaran mentioned showing her his visions, though this time it was excitement. The girl grew up being experimented on; her parents were both humans and made a point to show their distaste for having a mutant daughter. She’d grown up in the lab, spending 17 years in their confinement before she managed to sneak away and go to Hawaii, but by then she knew the nasty nature of humans and was very street smart. She did what she had to do to stay hidden and alive, nothing else mattered. Evelyn kept to herself and never went out of her way to meet new people, and because of that she never met anyone else with powers until today: Cammy, Ziya, Faith, Ciaran. They all had different powers and Evelyn was excited to witness them with her own eyes.

She could tell from his strong mental block that his power had something to do with the mind, and she wasn’t let down when the visions took over. Much like Ciaran when he saw Evelyn’s memories, the mind reader’s face remained completely blank all save for the wide, excited smile on her face and the slight twinkle in her glazed over eyes.

The room faded out and was replaced with hell; people like Evelyn and Ciaran were placed in cages, experimented on, killed. Those that were considered lucky and weren’t captured lived lives as refugees, hiding and running. Ciaran’s voice broke up the vision like a pebble tossed into the smooth surface of water; once the water settled a new world was presented, one where humans and mutants lived alongside each other in perfect harmony. It was a Golden Age; immaculate and positively delicious to look at.

After a few seconds to binge herself on such perfection, the meal was taken away. Evelyn blinked several times to focus her eyes upon Ciaran. Once more her head tilted to the side. “You mentioned that if the humans don’t accept us, we’ll simply take over. Why? Why would you even think of that? We’ll be just like them if we do that. It may seem innocent right now, but when it actually happens, people—those who are like us—will begin to think that way when they get a taste of power.” She paused, searching for the right words, before she began again. “I’m not saying that I won’t help you because I will, I just want to know if you’re actually thinking about going that far if your plan doesn’t work. In some cases, an eye for an eye isn't the best way to go." Evelyn shrugged casually, eyes locked with Ciaran’s.

“Now, back to more serious matters.”  A brow rose. “Unlike you and your little posse, I can barely afford one meal a day if I’m lucky. If you wouldn’t mind, could I get something to eat?”

Cam watched as Faith left the room and followed suit only to wander to the living area. A large screen television hung above a fire place carved into black granite and a leather sofa and matching chair and love seat sat around it. Her eyes caught the large window above the couch and she sighed. The sky looked sick, pale green with rolling black clouds, signaling the possibility of a storm. Maybe, it was time to settle down...

In one decisive movement, she plopped down on the leather sofa and curled up into a ball with her arms over her head and her knees against her chest. She smiled and fell asleep.

From his peripheral, Ciaran took notice of Ziya's gloomy mood as she made her way to her room silently. He made a mental note to check on her when he finished with his meeting. It was a wonder no one seemed sleepy, after the 13 hour flight they had taken...

This didn't stop him from noticing, however, Evelyn's actions. Closing her eyes, breathing deeply. It was a well known exercise for calming the nerves, particularly before a big performance. He wondered what she was planning.

And then it came. Flattery; So that was her chosen approach. His fingers laced before his face, covering his mouth as he listened to the woman's words, however, his smirk was still apparent in his crimson red eyes. "Wrong." He spoke up in response to the woman's question. "I actually like, and try to reward curiosity. It's an excellent trait to carry." Of course, he didn't plan to tell the woman -exactly- how he got her records, but he would give her a hint that could help her greatly, whether she ended up accepting his offer or not.  "You see, most people think that the greatest power in the world is money. Those people are mistaken. Money can achieve great things, but the true power in the world is knowledge." He chuckled as he realized how cliche the whole "Knowledge is Power" statement must have sounded. "You see, Having a surplus of cash can help you, until that cash runs out, but knowledge only grows. What you're capable of accomplishing relies on what you know, and more importantly, -who- you know..." That was the big clue, and also his answer to her question. Having friends in high places. That was how he was able to pull her record so easily.

The woman laid it on thick, however, Ciaran wasn't cursed with an ego. Only a strong knowledge of the human mind. It was safe to assume that half of Evelyn's praises were true, and the other half were given in attempts to make him feel bigger than he was, and to throw him off his game. "Persuasive..." He repeated... He couldn't help but think of his recruiting of Ziya and Faith, still less than 24 hours ago... "I suppose you could say that's true..."

She then took the conversation in a different direction. It was unexpected, but not something unmanageable. "Yes, I've read your file in detail. Three times to be exact." But in truth, it wasn't her history that interested him. It was her potential. Her power, coupled with Ziya's could be an unbreakable force! But he hadn't been informed yet, of the controversy that had occurred between the two. It would surely be a hindrance.

An inquisitive eyebrow raised as the woman made her way over to him, speaking of her experience as she took on a sudden change of attitude. Charm and charisma; They were traits that Ciaran looked for him his team members, who existed all too often in the public eye. Evelyn was proving to be more and more useful as the moments passed.  When the woman touched him, her visions would pass on to Ciaran. However, he did not have to remove his mental block in order for them to do so, because of the nature of the wall, that worked like a mirror. If she tried to penetrate his mind while showing him her story, she would see exactly what she was showing him, and nothing more.

He watched Evelyn's cutscene with a straight face. He didn't smile, nor frown. He didn't wince when she experienced pain, nor did he show signs of sympathy. When the visions ceased, and she returned to her seat, he looked at Evelyn humbly. "You're right." He told her. "Reading about it on a piece of paper is nothing like seeing it for yourself. I would say I'm sorry for your experience, but I believe everything we survive is a part of what shapes who we are. You may not be sitting here at this table with me, if not for your past, so instead I'll offer you a toast, To a future that outshines the past." He raised his tea cup in offering of his toast.

When Evelyn stated that removing her name would be difficult, the smirk returned to Ciaran's face. Every one of his associates was once on that list. He had removed all of them successfully, and no one will ever know they were there. Well, everyone except Faith, at least. Faith was a Class 5 detainee. Alerts would go off all over the world if his name was removed from the list. But Ciaran had a plan for that as well, as soon as they returned to New York. If Evelyn were to probe his mind, that thought would be made available to her.

And finally, the second million dollar question... Blood red eyes looked at the woman as he spoke. "I suppose it's time for me to show you one of my visions now... By making skin to skin contact, Evelyn had made herself fully susceptible to Ciaran's illusions. But he wouldn't need the full version, that could effect her body. He just needed her to see what he wanted her to. The table, the room, even Ciaran would fade from her vision, replaced by a nightmare of a world in which Mutated humans were less than second class citizens. They were kept in cages, and subjected to experiments far worse than the ones done on her. The ones who weren't captives, were refugees, constantly running to avoid detainment. "This is the future man wants for us." Ciaran's voice would reach the woman's ears, despite her being unable to see him. "I refuse to live in this world.

The vision suddenly shifted. To a more progressive world, where humans and mutants lived alongside eachother, went to school together, and served in politics side by side. "I want to move toward a world like this." he told her. "But even I can't always know the right thing to do or say. I want you alongside me to help ensure that this future becomes a reality. A future where we can live side by side with humans, and if humans are unable to accept us, we will be the ones to come out on top..." Then her vision would return to normal, and Ciaran would be seated as he was before. "So, interested?"

Ziya looks from one person to another before she pouts slightly and walks out of the room in the direction of her own. Everyone seemed in their own world and she was outside of it all. 'Oh well.' Sighing softly, she places Simba on her bed and sets up a small space for him in the corner next to her dresser. "This is for you. The big bed is mine. The little bed is yours, not my pillows, the little bed right here."

Slowly the woman stands and goes to play with the kitten for a bit before the small creature becomes sleepy.

Evelyn took notice of Ciaran’s smirk. Immediately she knew he had the upper hand on her; she was unable to pry into his mind—she was in his territory, completely helpless, for some unknown reason. As that fact dawned on her, she wondered if Ciaran was ever taken off guard. He came off as extremely composed and prepared; it was evident that he always had the upper hand in most, if not all, situations.

The corners of her pink lips lifted in her own smirk. Evelyn closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath as she leaned her head against the back of the chair she was sitting in. The sound of papers rustling and crinkling reached her ears; only at the sound of the sliding paper did Evelyn open her eyes. Her face immediately took on a completely blank expression. The paper had her records on it. Of course, Evelyn knew her records were floating around—she was a wanted girl after all—but the fact that Ciaran currently had a copy of it in his possession made her uneasy. Her hands tightened their grasp on the arms of the chair.

“You must be pretty powerful to be able to have a copy of that.” She mused aloud, sliding her eyes up from the paper and to Ciaran’s face. “I would ask where you got it, but I can safely assume that would be pointless, right?” A shrug rolled its way across her thin shoulders. “And I’ll be completely honest and say that I am surprised you have that. Congratulations, you’ve made your way into my head without even knowing it.” The words left her lips with a light, airy tone, and a smile appeared on her face soon after. “It’s got me completely on edge. I can tell you’re more of a… pusher. You naturally come off as a very persuasive man.” The pale blue eyes of the woman gained a slight twinkle in them and the smile widened as she leaned forward in her seat to grab the paper from the table. “I take it you’ve read the whole thing, right? You know all the little juicy details of my life; the experiments, my parents, the reason I’m in Hawaii making a living off of ten dollar fortunes even though seeing the future isn’t even my power to begin with.”

At this point Evelyn stood up from her chair, lazily making her way closer to Ciaran. “But reading about it isn’t that appealing.” Now she stopped right next to him, setting the paper down on the table with an oddly cheerful smile. “I mean, why read about it when you can just experience it for yourself?” A brow rose challengingly as she reached a small hand out to him, touching the back of his neck. If Ciaran chose to break down the mental wall, he would go through Evelyn’s life; through all of the experiments, feel every needle poke through her skin, feel every reaction she had with the steroids she was injected with, experience what it was like being born to parents who were part of the government’s attempt to eliminate all mutated beings.

While Evelyn lived a horrible life with her parents, she still gained something from all of the experiments. Her powers grew stronger; they went from being able to read immediate thoughts to being able to read memories and being able to project her own thoughts and memories into other people with little to no effort. If there was anything she would thank her parents for, it was that. She got fed up after so many experiments, and eventually ran away. Hawaii became her refuge; no one would think to look for her in Hawaii.

Ciaran was able to experience all of that, and once she was done she removed her hand from his skin and moseyed her way back to her chair and sat down. “Removing my face from that list will be extremely difficult, Ciaran, but for some odd reason I trust your abilities. However, you’ve made me extremely curious; what would a big boy like you want with a little gal like me?”

Faith's dedication to his training was commendable. However, the years of time he had been forced to neglect his powers may have caused him to grow overzealous. Ciaran feared he may hurt himself, if he didn't keep a careful eye. Luckily, he was distracted by the arrival of their companions.

The arrival of Evelyn was another step scratched off in Ciaran's playbook. He decided that the most accurate description of his initial reaction to the girl was... "Impressed." Not everyone could walk into the house of a man with a nine figure net worth and maintain an uninterested expression. Ciaran was very good at researching people. He could know their powers, blood type, occupation, and almost any other empirical data on the person. But no data could allow you to really know a person; Not like looking them in the eye could. She was strong... Or at least she knew how to play the part. Either way, it was a good sign.

Ciaran understood the woman's refusal to thank him for pulling her chair. It wasn't an attempt to intentionally be rude, but rather not to put herself in the position of a disadvantaged guest. She needed to maintain some sort of power in the situation, and pleasantries could essentially rob her of that. Especially with her inability to read him; A disadvantage that Ciaran didn't share. He may not have had the ability to read minds, but as an expert in human Psychology, he was excellent at reading body language, and faces. Even microexpressions that lasted fractions of a second rarely escaped his observation.  The tilt of her head was a signal of curiosity. She was intrigued by the prospect of being approached with what could possibly be a big move for her. If it fit her liking, of course... But the way her hands clutched the seat... That was an innate sign of nervousness; Subconsciously keeping herself grounded. She probably didn't even realize she was doing it.

Ciaran's advantage was maintained, as always. But he had no interest in competing with the woman. He was only interested in forming an alliance. And then came the million dollar question; "What's in it for me?" Ciaran smirked in response to the question. It was different from Ziya's initial inquiry, but that was to be expected. Their motivations were completely different. Ciaran picked up a folder from the seat next to him, and removed a single sheet of paper from it. He placed it on the table and slid it over to Evelyn.

Upon inspection, she would discover that the paper was her record. It contained all the essential information about her, and a recent picture. It had the names of both her parents, her address, place of employment, powers, blood type and plenty more. "For starters, I can have you completely removed from the government's extensive profile list of superpowered humans. It'll be as if you were never there. No more Big Brother watching over you..." He made to attempt to take the paper back from her, allowing it to sit in front of her face, giving her time to realize just how little privacy she had. "Of course, there are plenty of other perks as well, but I'd say that's a pretty good starting place..."

More training was needed to even get the basics down. Faith's body started to discharge sweat from the pours of his ebony skin from the relentless training he was putting himself though. The sun decided to exposes his skin to the light just before resting behind the horizon. But he wouldn't rest , at least to he either got it down or was dead . He require more air as he pushed harder and harder to test his limitation. He continue to train unit he heard two set of footsteps coming towards the two men.

One was Camys , her runway walk always seen to make the hallways echo . It's was like her grand entrance , letting everyone know that she had arrive like an A class celebrity. The other was more settle , to settle to be Ziya . Ziya had a similar walk like Camy but she didn't swing her hips as hard as Camy did with each step . Faith was about to say something to Ciaran but from his vibe he was expecting the newcomer . Confidence flush from Ciaran just before the two females enter the back yard .

"Oh my, I almost forgot " Faith quickly put his jumpsuit top back on but by then they would already seen the scars on his back . A sharp pain claim the back of his head before it went away "Odd" he thought to himself . Maybe it was a sign that he needed rest . But then again maybe it was just......

"Hey cutie how is it going " Faith didn't know who Camy was talking to , him or Ciaran . Must be Ciaran , he never got those type of jesters like that ever . After some minutes past he finally here'd the new women's nam " Evelyn ". Then Ciaran and Evelyn left leaving Faith and Camy alone .

"So still blind?"  An awkward way to start a conversation , but before Faith even got a chance to answer to question the nervous women ask, no , told him if he wanted pizza . The women on the phone had an Italian accent , a deep one in that . Camy seen to struggle to comprehend the women's words and and hung up thinking she order a pizza but really order a bag of flour. He gave the women a smile of pure innocents before speaking

" It's ok Camy, I can tell by the tone of your voice and how your body shift to an defensive stance that you don't feel confinable around me with out Ciaran or Ziya around , and it's ok I get that a lot. Hopefully one day you will feel confinable to just be yourself around me . But till then I will just stay distance so I don't make you feel you feel uneasy . "

After he said what he had to say the blind man left though the back door to the beach so he could continue his training

Her hair slowly straightens and darkens before the corner of her newly browned eyes spot the figure of Cammy. Ziya didn't want to talk, she just wanted to get this over with and have a little bit of alone time so that she may be able to avoid the conversation that will be laced with questions as to her actions. Continuing to look at clothes while waiting on the locket to be repaired at one of the kiosk shops, the woman remains silent, bending slightly to look at a pair of shorts that were on sale.

Gathering the bags and returning to the jewelry kiosk, Ziya smiles softly as she's handed a box with the now repaired locket and a gold chain adorning it now. "It's perfect, thank you so much. My friend will be so excited to have this back." Paying the man with her personal card for the repair and new chain, Ziya slips the box into one of the bags with the male clothes before heading outside in hopes that she will be able to have a calm car ride back to the house because for once, retail therapy did not do it's job.

Climbing into the back of a taxi, she gives the address to where she needed to go and they were off.....well almost. Something caught the woman's eye as she stared blankly out of the window and a quick yell caught the driver off guard but he didn't seem to mind since she told him to wait for a moment and he was able to keep the meter running. Bending to look at a young cat, not yet fully grown but not a kitten, the woman's anger and heart melts at the same time. Something about this little black and white cat with one blue and one brown eye stole her heart and she had to have him. After a quick search for a worker, she fills out the adoption paper work and gathers her new kitten in arm and heads out after buying a bag of cat food and a few toys for him.

Returning to the taxi, she smiles and holds the fidgety animal in her lap as a pleasant surprise for her house mates.....though how would Ciaran and Faith react to having a cat in the house? Frowning then shrugging off the thought, the woman sighs lightly with a smile as the juvenile cat mews. "Yes Simba, we are going home now and I think you will love all the attention you will receive from the family." Lightly rubbing between his ears, the small animal slowly starts to doze as they pull in front of the house.

Placing the new pet in her over sized purse, Ziya attempts to grab everything from the back of the taxi, only to be greeted by his voice offering to help. A small smile tugs at the right corner of her lips as she nods softly. With the assistance of the driver, they make it to the front deck of the house in one trip. She follows the man back down as he begins to descend so that he can have the proper payment. Her eyes widen a bit at the price of the ride home but with the extra stop and helping her with the bags, she didn't mind paying the higher fare. With a soft wave, the woman watches the car drive down the street before walking back up and taking the bags into the spacious living room and removes the necklace box from the bag and Simba from her purse before starting her search for Ciaran and Faith.

"At least you tried, Ciaran, at least you tried, " she joked, shaking her head slowly. "Me behave? I don't believe I put that skill on the resume."

Her eyes fell on the psychic as a smile took over her lips. The woman was withdrawn, showing that she was thoughtful and probably highly intelligent. Even more, she stood her ground with Ciaran which not allot of people could do. Very admirable. Yet, there was something she didn't trust about her, something she could not put her finger on. But, time would tell and she never judged a book by its cover.

The two, Ciaran and the psychic dismissed themselves, leaving Cam behind with Faith. Awkwardness settled in the air like a dense fog but she kept her exterior cool. She did horrible one on one with people besides Ciaran and Ziya. Ziya was her best friend and Ciaran was her boss so she always had the role of an assistant to play. Without the role and without the bond of friendship, she was out of sorts and felt like a worm dangling on a fish hook.

'Hey, you okay? If you don't hurry you are going to miss the hot gardeners in tight jeans!' she texted Ziya.

After, she put her phone in her pocket and folded her arms.

"So, how is it going?" she asked. "Still blind?"

'Still blind?'! Really? Out of everything she could say that was what she had chosen? ****, her mind spat at her.

"I mean..."

'Quick, Cam, come up with something!' she thought, wildly.

"... Pizza. Want some? Okay cool! I'll go order some person, place to make it!" she said, without giving him an opportunity to respond and dialed the number to a local restaurant.

When a woman answered, she tried to place an order but for the life of her she could not comprehend the woman due to her accent. After a few moments, she hung up.

"I think I ordered pizza but don't be surprised if someone comes to look for a chicken," she said shaking her head.

Evelyn spent the time she had while Cammy and Ziya were away thinking. It was ironic; she was a person with the ability to dig into another’s mind, yet she spent most of her time in her own. Despite popular belief, Evelyn didn’t purposefully read other’s minds; she found that it resulted in more problems than what was necessary. Sure, it can be helpful and beneficial, but most of the time it wasn’t, which is why Evelyn only ever used her power when it benefited her particular needs. After the experiences she’s had, she’s only interested in helping one person; herself. There’s no need for anyone else.

Sometime later Cammy returned to collect Evelyn so they could make their way to Ciaran, Ziya was nowhere to be seen. A curious light entered the mind reader’s eyes at this, but she wasn’t too worried. Ziya was a big girl and could handle herself. Cam, on the other hand, seemed to be experiencing some deep inner turmoil. The car ride was spent mostly in silence. Several times the cabby tried to make small talk about the weather, scenery, traffic, beautiful women – the works – but neither Cam nor Evelyn tried to keep the conversation flowing. And while Cam was deep within her thoughts and all but oblivious to the rambling driver, Evelyn found it extremely amusing. A perverted old man with a mouth that could run miles around anyone, whose primary thoughts revolved around Cammy’s nice set of **** and how well her shirt showed them off. Pretty gross, but a nice compliment nonetheless.

When the cab stopped in front of a nice looking house, Evelyn mumbled a quick thanks to the driver and slid out after Cammy so as to not get left behind. She followed the model-like blonde through the house and out to the backyard with a mind wondering why Cam looked as though she were strutting on a runway in Paris rather than the halls of a massive house. Maybe she was born with it, or maybe it was Maybelline. Who knows.

Upon entering the backyard, Evelyn noticed two things. One being it looked as though someone got a little fire happy, the other being that sparks seemed to flow off the unknown male. Literally. Evelyn took a quick look inside his head and deduced that his name was Faith. Just from that one little dip Evelyn knew that Faith was extremely innocent—and he was blind, but that’s beside the point.

In a matter of minutes Ciaran’s intimidating eyes settled on the mind reader, but she didn’t back down from his gaze, rather she met him head on with a bored expression. She nodded her head in greeting to him before she followed him back into the house and settled down in the chair he offered her, not even bothering to thank him or the woman who brought them tea. Hands remained clutching the arms of the chair as she watched Ciaran with a curious twinkle in her eyes; head tilted mere degrees to the side as she listened. His offer piqued her interest, but when she tried to enter his head to get more information she was met with a wall, one far more advanced than the one Ziya had erected. Evelyn smirked and withdrew back into her own mind.

“What’s in it for me?”

Faith's decision to try firing electricity from his feet impressed Ciaran. It showed initiative. Not only that, but it showed that he was fully capable of observing, analyzing, and coming to the best possible conclusion, even without the use of his eyes.  His training was proving to be quite destructive, however. The work was going to be busy for the next several days at this rate. It was important that he gained as much control as possible.

When Cammy showed up with Evelyn, Ciaran got to work immediately. He began the use of a technique he had been practicing since he discovered Evelyn's file. He used his power of influence on himself, making it so that his mind would only reflect his immediate thoughts, and making it impossible to dive any deeper into his mind than his present thoughts and actions. It had been a difficult technique to master. His powers had only been used to influence the minds of others, up until that point.

"Aw, and here I paid them extra to wear the tight pants just for you." He teased. He didn't overlook the fact that she called Faith "Cutie." Though he didn't say anything. His gaze instead moved from Cammy, to Faith, in attempts to gauge his reaction. It was possible the two could be into each other, though that would be an inconvenience...

Then she proceeded to try her flirting act of Ciaran himself. He smirked as he took a few steps forward, and lifted her chin with his index finger. "Behave yourself Cammy. We have a guest."

Crimson colored eyes then settled on Evelyn. With his mental barriers in place she would only be able to read him as far as his initial thoughts, which were simple. 'So this is her...' "It's a pleasure to meet you, Evelyn." He offered her a generous smile, as he ushered her back into the house, and away from the image of the back yard that had been all but burned to a crisp by Faith's training. He offered her a seat at the table, pulling out a chair for her before taking a seat himself. "I'm sure you know why I invited you here, after having that nice car ride with Cammy. Nonetheless, I want to thank you for coming." Blaise then came with tea for their guest. "I'll get right to the point. I want to offer you a job." His eyes showed that he was serious, and that he had much to discuss with her. But his mind offered only a simple thought. 'Let's get down to business'

Deciding not to waste time looking for Ziya any longer, Cam left the mall after stopping by the pyschic's shop to get her and got into a cab. The driver was courteous enough to point out the nice view the low cut top she wore gave him before pulling out of the parking lot and driving towards Ciaran's. Along the way, she debated about slapping the old driver across the back of his head for the earlier comment, but decided a wreck would be hard to explain impatient Ciaran, and she also sent Ziya a text.

'I left already. Couldn't find you. Meet you at the house.'

Her eyes lifted from the screen of her cellphone to the window view of the world. Cam didn't really see any of it as she thought back to the psychic and Ziya. Always, she had chosen work over her personal life and that was because of Ciaran. Soon, she needed to reevaluate her life and where it was headed. It bothered her to know she was so willing to put her friendship with Ziya on the back burner in order to please her boss.

Clearly, her feelings for him were a dead end road with caution signs every other step she took in that direction. She rubbed her temples and shook her head. This was silly, she could control a simple crush and she would pick Ziya any day over a job. Despite the thought, it did not console her.

A deep breath later, she exited the cab and made her way into the house after allowing the psychic the chance to follow her.

"Ciaran, " she called out just as she entered the room. "Great job on those gardeners. I mean they must be home grown, if you catch my drift. Too bad they wear tight jeans because we all know what that means. Big ego, small-"

She grinned when she saw Faith.

"Hey cutie how is it going?" She winked.

"So, learning to use your powers?" she asked with a mischievous grin. "It's always fun to see Ciaran work. Especially, when he sweats."

Dramatically, she waved her hand in front of her face.

"So hot."

With a mental sigh, she watched Ziya exit the shop. Of course, she did not blame her for being upset but it made difficult to acquire the psychic's interest. Luckily for Ciaran, in spite of everything, the psychic was willing to go back with them. Cam didn't speak as the woman replied and then left her standing there with the cash laying on the table. Her eyes drifted to the money as her ears rang in the silence. After taking a moment to collect herself, she quietly exited the shop and meandered down the mall hall, looking for Ziya.

She checked her phone for the time and sighed at it. It was barely four and already she was exhausted. Perhaps, Ciaran would cut her a break and allow her to go to bed early.

Yeah, right.

Still looking for Ziya, Cammy meandered in and out of the crowd, ignoring the faces of strangers as she went. The jewelry store came into view and gave her some hope.

Once in the shop, she didn't see Ziya at first so she took a small detour and sought out a display of necklaces. Gold, white gold, silver, titanium, and diamond stared back at her in alluring glimmers. One particular necklace caught her eye but not because its beauty, but because of the distinct marking of an eye engraved on a golden plate. It had no chain but rather just a small hole on the top that probably only thread to penetrate.

Cam yawned and moved deeper into the store, continuing her search for Ziya.

With countless efforts Faith manage to fire lightning from each one of his finger tips. He really didnt get the concept on why untill Ciaran explain it in full detail . To be able to to guide lightning from each limit would increase his arsenol . It wasn't a, what if they put shackles  on his hands, it already happen . Before Ciaran explain the next task in hand Faith focus on using his feet . It was much more harder then his fingers and took way more concentration ,sometimes red lightning would discharge from his feet . But being blind he couldn't see it but he could feel a odd feeling sometimes . But finally after almost taking the whole backyard out he manage to get the concept of streaming electricity from his feet .

He would practice some more later but the next task couldn't wait but first, he had to get more confortable . The one piece orange prison suit started to hold the heat in from all the sweating. All the female where at the mall and he didn't think Ciaran wouldn't mind if he took the top portion of his jump suit off . Faith's upper torso was expose to the light for the first time in years . The sun relfexed off the sweat form his ebony torso . His body was build from endless push-ups , sit-ups and bench pressing . Everything stood out from his chest to his abbs that layer on top of each other .But his back was another story . Faith's back contain all the pain he went through . Each scar told a story , gave him an reminder of what not to do or who to trust .

The next task was explain in full, he even made it visional so Faith would imagine how it should end up being .Faith first thought of the steps on how Ciaran just perform that move then mimic it . First he would gather elecricity from the rod to each each of his finger tips . If this was correct Faith would have more control in guiding it like mini rods then just te palm of his hand . The second step he focuse on a mark on his palm where all five rods would stream out the currents to one location . Then he attempt the task . A small ball form, he use his finger tips to keep it in place . Everything was working perfectly until the elecrical sphere started to increase in mass and scatter everywhere .

"Dammit, and I thought I would get it on the first try "

Evelyn nodded her head, listening intently to Cammy with a curious light in her eyes. It was interesting hearing her apologize for Ziya’s actions, when Ziya had no intent to apologize. Evelyn could only smile, the curiosity turning in to amusement before all emotion left her face in the next second. That was one of her special little tricks; complete control over her mind. She was able to ‘separate’ the mind from the body in varying degrees of severity: from keeping her emotions tightly confined in her head to completely severing the tie and not feeling anything inflicted upon her body. It was a useful tactic she learned during her time as a lab rat; experimented on by her very own parents on their quest to discover just how strong their ‘little girl’ could possibly be. Evelyn felt pain on a daily basis, both physical and emotional. She didn’t want them to know just how hurt she was, so she never showed it, no matter how many times they poked and prodded.

Evelyn’s attention was brought back to the present with Cammy’s words. Her face was set in a passive expression as she listened, although her mind was alight with amusement. She nodded her head in understanding. “Ciaran, I presume.” She mumbled during the break within Cammy’s speech, presenting some of the information she gleaned from her trip within Ziya’s head. Evelyn listened as Cammy spoke, but her eyes seemed glazed over as she withdrew back into her own mind. She made no attempt to tell Cammy that if she really wanted more information about Ciaran, she could simply dig for it on her own, and she made no attempt to dig for it either. Despite having the ability to uncover many things about that Ciaran character, Evelyn found herself drawn to the idea of a surprise—she absolutely adored surprises.

“I don’t think you understand that you did, in fact, ask me to enter your head by placing the money on my table, Ziya.:  Evelyn watched with a blank expression as Ziya left her shop, obviously fuming. A little spitfire, that one was, not to mention thoroughly amusing.

Cammy stood up soon after Ziya left, intending to leave with her own parting words. Evelyn’s face broke out in a genuine smile, one that touched her eyes for a second before it was gone altogether. “I am indeed interested with what Ciaran has in mind for me, but I am, however, completely uninterested in running errands with you and Ziya. I’ll meet you both outside when you’re done with them.” At this, Evelyn stood up as well. “And you can have your money back,” She said, nodding her head to the untouched money at the center of her table before she withdrew into the back of her shop.

"If you must wonder why I entered, it is because of the woman to the right of me. This was to keep her happy, was, being the key word. Now I could kindly care less than I did when we first entered. And if I would like to consult someone for my future, it will most certainly not be another person. The future is to be shaped by the one living the life, and I would prefer it to remain that way." Ziya's nature began to show as she followed the woman's movements, tilting her head to the side as she watched the twinkle fade from the woman across from her.

Once again the woman tried to dig around in Ziya's brain only to be met by a brick wall. "I do believe that I asked you to stay out of there. It is not nice to try and enter a place where you are not welcomed." Though, the psychic tried her best to cause harm to Ziya, the woman only grew a smile for the ages. "Nice trick, but the pain that you tried to cause is nothing compared to the pain that I live with on a daily basis. Though, I must state again, nice trick." Something within Ziya began to glow as she rose from her seat as the psychic turned to address Cammy, only to be angered and annoyed by the words that filled the air.

"Cam, I do not need you to apologize for my actions because they are mine to make and I do not regret them. And secondly, I do not wish to work with one who has no sense of privacy when it comes to matters of the mind, though I do wonder what our boss could want with....." Her words trailed off as she looked to the sitting women before turning to walk out. "All I have to say is that I like dealing with members of the undead more than psychics. At least they ask to enter before hand." Without another word or caring to see if her friend would follow, Ziya takes her leave on the last few words to return to her reason for coming to this place, shopping and getting the locket repaired.
