The Family

Even from Tsu Jinn City, the roar of the crowds and scores of Oahn people echoed for kilometers in any direction. The Nation of Oah was expecting the return of their Lioness
Amadora of Zahn House
The messages were displayed within every home in the Capitol City, Oahnaii as billions watched digital monitors of every size in awe of the Eleventh Knights Fleet of ships. Their presence so low in the atmosphere heralded the arrival of the only being to command the fleet, Amadora. The larger vessels remain hovering over the city while a private transport accompanied by one hundred of fighter craft surrounding the transport that carried Amadora. Seeming a brilliant access joyous occasion, the revelers on balconies and streets cheered, save a few watching from ZanhnHome. Sanna of Staihne House walks side by side with her Daughter, Theodora into the large Common Room and looks over as Amazon Commander Elizabeth Amadeus glares at the monitor in disgust instead of glee.
"Does something trouble you Commander? You seem distraught at the appearance of your Mother's fleet?"
She tilts her head only slightly never breaking her curious stare at her Commanding Officer, who speaks in assurance, though, breaking her gaze and after pondering quickly
"I was watching the flight patterns of her escorts. I dislike the way they flew. Nothing more Subordinate!"
Elizabeth walks quickly around Sanna and her daughter, into the main open common room.
Sanna turns to face the monitor as the display shows the private transport landing in front of ZahnHome. She smiles at the notion that she was watching something live that was occurring in front of the house she was now standing in. She rushes behind Ellie then slows to match her pace as does Theodora. Sanna looks to Ellie asking
"Commander? If I might ask? Where are your...."
Elizabeth freezes in her tracks, turning to face Sanna scolding her with her very eyes and grim visage
"You were going to ask about my children? They fell to their dreams Subordinate. I had their elder siblings take them to their rooms."
Sanna looks forward and stops smiling. The grand doors to the Common Room open and Amadora walks in with her wings spread, her armor glistening in the light of the Oahn Sun. Her white lower gown bristles and sways. Her own soldiers follow but as she enters the Eleventh Knights Centaurii stop and bow at the door. She descends a modest stair step and stands before her daughter.
"One is pleased to see you and be home fairchild. Have you finished assembling the gate atop the mountain?"
Elizabeth faces down and bends a knee to her Superior. She doesn't raise her eyes to meet her Mother's as Sanna and Her daughter, the Centaurii and Ellie's Husband Bo-Shawn kneel on one knee and rise. Elizabeth places one hand into her fist as a salute. Sanna smiles still looking down as Ellie does as Amadora now smiles speaking,
"Dearest Girl, come. Tell me about your time since my departure?"
Sanna brushes past Ellie rushing toward Amadora, ascending two steps, holding her hands toward her friend. Amadora grasps Sanna's hands in delight. Amadora looks about the common room tilting at each corner slightly and still smiling,
"Where are your children?"
She asks this of her daughter Elizabeth without directly asking her. Sanna answers in Ellie's place, looking back at Ellie with a smirk on her face and a raised eyebrow,
"They sleep."
She casts her gaze mockingly at Ellie who answers her Mother
"They had a long day.."
Amadora brushes off her daughters words turning away and clicking her teeth. Sanna stands steadily next to her Lioness. Ellie just glares at her Mother's back as Sanna walks hand in hand with her giggling and looking back at Ellie and silently scoffing. She looks left and down at Theodora, taking her hand and introducing her to the Amazon Lioness. Ellie continues watching as the three walked ahead of her. Ellie turns facing Bo-Shawn as the group reaches the stairwell leading to the upper rooms. She keeps her eyes fixed on him signaling him. Bo-Shawn stops the command troops that arrived with him to stop at the stairs. Ellie, her Mother and Sanna continue up. The Elder Children, Apollo, Aries, Dianna and Athena sit, awaiting their Mother's arrival. For Dianna this moment feels like her real family she remembers from her childhood, though of late, she has barely come home from her studies at the Forensic Science Center at the Spartan Academy. Unlike her Sister Athena, who was already a trained Amazon Cadet, Dianna was tested as non-combatant and therefore elected to be a Spartan Officer, something her Mother Elizabeth despised but accepted. Her Grandmother never spoke to her Mother with unkindness or malice in her voice, today seemed different though. The children of Zahn House were terrified for their younger siblings, having learned that Amadora wanted to take an ascendant child to her newly discovered planet.
As they ascend the stately staircase to the children's rooms above, Elizabeth waves over the Captain of her House Guard, not her son Apollo or Aries, but the regent of Zahn House who was loyal to Ellie and her Husband Bo-Shawn, Captain Elizar Macbeth. He briskly walks toward Ellie as she asks whispering,
"Did the transport I summoned arrive yet?"
He nods and she whispers again just out of earshot of her mother who never trained to use her meta-hearing.
"When I signal you to do so, You'll remove what I command and fly directly to Mount Zahadume with me and my Daughter later lest  I commands otherwise, make certain there's no pilot other than yourself."
Again, he nods speaking into his wrist-bound communicator. After arriving at the foot of the second floor hall, Amadora points to the first door, careful to remind Sanna to be quiet so as not to disturb the children sleeping. No sooner does her subordinate and best friend open the first door than does Amadora raise her hand and close her eyes, aiming her open hand at the child in bed. She waivers slightly seeing that the boy is not levitating. A sign that he slept like a mortal Oahn and therefore not ascended.
"Pity, he may have been a fine officer. Are all of your children civilian and non ascendant Child?"
She looks to Ellie
"Save one. Rianna. She is an ascendant child Mother."
Her plan was working and as Amadora continued walking she aimed her hand at each door opened by Sanna. Finally arriving at Riri's door where she felt the arc energies within the child.
"Her Aurii is powerful, as mine. Subordinate, dress my granddaughter and have her moved downstairs. I would speak with her Mother."
Elizabeth stands before her Mother as Amadora begins describing her plans, though, Ellie already knew them.
"I shall have my Centaurii Eleventh Knights travel to my new world where I will build a new seat for the Oahn Government, my Subordinate will remain here on Oah with you Elizabeth. She is not an Ascendant Being. When we arrive I'm certain she'll insure everything goes as I will it to and you will carry out her commands as HER subordinate Officer."

Ellie turns immediately and glaring to Sanna of Staihne House, as she stands smiling proudly. Without actually saying anything, she remembers the laws written for her Amazon and Centaurii Academies. You must be an Ascendant being to train in either the Male or Female armed services. Now, everything was perfect for as the law clearly dictates, she has every right to her plan. Ellie faces her mother,
"Yes my beloved Commander. It will be done."
The day passes normal for Oah, as celebrations all round gather note among the noble houses. Through an interface broadcast and holographic projection, Amadora tells the senior and Elder leaders of the noble houses of what she is going to do.

"Oah, the nation I guided to rebuild itself, hear me. One will away to the twin planet I have discovered with my Eleventh Knights Fleet. My daughter has outfitted and had built on each of my ships a means to travel faster and farther. Though, I myself do not understand the engineering or technical aspects of it all, I trust that the Child of Zahn House will provide as she was commanded. Further, I leave you in the capable hands of the Centaurii Senate and It's new Commander. In my travel to this new world, I have asked my child to build a robotic work force to build a city so that when I come to land, We will have a home there. In time after settling this twin world, we will return and many of Oahs Noble families will enjoy travel there. My child will send the one ascendant being from her house with me, her Daughter Rianna. As Oahn Law has defined I do under articles of protection of the Lioness. I will see this twin planet now. Fare thee well, Oah."

The broadcast cuts off access Amadoras Apothis Unit stops glowing, settling down and hovering next to the Lioness.
Elizabeth watches and taps a message to her own Apothis Unit
"Command my Mothers Apothis Unit to take control of her fleets network the moment they leave Oahn orbit."
Apothis responds with one word
"Compliance"
With her voice heard by the elders and her family, Amadora boards her transport. Ellie and Rianna walk hand in hand towards the transport that brought Amadora. She looks about and to her mother.
"I can hear your mind."
Ellie thinks harder so that her daughter can hear, but no other can,
("Don't let my Mother know you can hear thoughts or see great distances. I'll bring you back as soon as your brothers and sisters are reborn. It will be a few days but I'll find you.")

Through the walk and as the world watched, Ellie never spoke a word but to her and her daughter Rianna, they've spoken volumes. Rianna replies to her mother's thoughts, "Yes Mother."

Amadora waves to Rianna as one of the Soldiers accompanying them to the transport walks down a ramp and grasps Riri by her arm. He walks hurriedly towards Amadora who ignores her presence altogether as the soldier and Riri rush past. Amadora smiles at Sanna and never once makes eye contact with Elizabeth, who simply looks down.
After all this time, building and forming the Amazon Academies, the Centaurii Academies, the ships she's built access technological advancements she's made for her world, her own Mother ignores her and never once bothered to learn the science behind the technology Elizabeth and her Husband created.
It was perfect. The House Guard and Elizabeth along with her Husband Bo-Shawn watch the transport leave. Smaller and smaller until Ellie is certain they're gone. She turns her attention to Sanna who smiles looking at her and speaks softly

"What a wonderful turn of events Elizabeth. You are now my subordinate and I command. Isn't that delightful?"
Ellie balls her fists waving to her husband.
Bo-Shawn immediately signals the House Guard as they surround Sanna as her smile vanishes, replaced instantly by confusion. Ellie smiles, Looking to the Romajii Commander at her Husband's side, Elizar Macbeth,
"This woman has broken Amazon law, I'm going to arrest her. See to it that she doesn't leave this common room, I will return soon."
The Centaurii Captain obeys as his soldiers quickly raise arms at Sanna. She still looks confused and glares at Ellie. As Elizabeth walks for the Dining Hall, she spots the frail girl with fire red hair, Theodora. She approaches her gently seating next to her.
"Are you proud to be an Oahn beloved?"
The little girl looks up in wonder having heard all of the amazing tales of Amazon warriors such as Ellie.
"Oh yes oh yes Lady Amadeus, I am!"

Ellie smiles and gracefully speaks to the girl
"Wonderful fairchild, and what would you do if someone in your house betrayed the Amazon way?"
The little girl frowns at the words knotting her brow in retort
"As Lady Amadeus says, treason has no place in the Amazon Way. I would tell you oh so quickly dear lady, yes."
Elizabeth again smiles standing then speaking,
"Apothis, broadcast planet wide please. Relay holographic interface so all of Oah can see."
Apothis carries out is command instantly, as every city and home on Oah suddenly displays the image if Elizabeth Amadeus walking and speaking.
"Dearest child, there is a traitor in your house. Would you like to see this person?"
Theodora jumps from her seat and takes Ellie by her hand. Exclaiming her disbelief
"In my house? A member of my family?"
Her soft voice filling the halls of ZahnHome as her image displays, then Ellie's.
"Yes beloved. I will take you to this traitor myself."
Every eye watching, Ellie walks the girl into the common room of her home, facing Sanna. As Ellie gracefully walks, she holds Theodora's hand up, as if to let anyone watching know, Theodora can leave her hand at anytime. Though, throughout the walk, Theodora never releases her grip and sights her Mother, Sanna surrounded by House Guards.
Theodora tugs at Elizabeth's hand,
"Is that the traitor Lady Amadeus?"
Ellie looks down to the girl and nods. Theodora looks away from her Mother. Elizabeth looks at Sanna and freezes with Theodora in hand addressing everyone watching,
"This Soldier, is no soldier. She is not an Ascendant being and has no right to command the Amazon."
Sanna moves forward, heading for Ellie but is cut off quickly by Athena, Ellie's daughter, who has no problem aiming a gun at her head. Sanna withdraws looking down as Elizabeth addresses her now,

"You never trained to be an Amazon. You never ascended nor have you graduated from Amazon Academy. Your title is not earned, you have betrayed the Amazon Angelus way. You are in defiance of the Law, what say you?"
Sanna looks up at Ellie,
"I was granted this title by the Lioness.."

Ellie stops her mid sentence
"My Mother is gone! She's not coming back! Ever! You will never see command here or anywhere else! I'll never be your subordinate."
She levels off and raises Theodora's hand with her own. The two turn away and walk as Elizabeth orders Athena, her daughter,
"Execute the traitor. Once you have, remove Sanna's corpse from my home. I have a transport outside awaiting. Pilot it to the Tithus moon and leave her body there. Far away from us."
Athena whispers under her breath
"It will be done Mother."
Sanna looks on in disbelief as her own daughter walks away holding hands with Ellie. She never looks back. Sanna's eyes well up as Athena stands before her blocking her view of Theodora. She drops to her knees as Atty tells her,
"Don't worry, my Mother will train her to be the Amazon you never could be."
She takes aim at Sanna's, forehead and fires off one round watching the shell fly through her skull, entering and exiting through causing Sanna's, hair to raise from the back due the force exerted.
Sanna drops dead as her lifeless eyes cast a gaze out to the beyond. Athena carries out her order as Apollo carries the body behind her.
Meanwhile, Ellie summons her daughter Dianna and informs her
"The children will awaken soon and their wounds inflicted will heal, when that happens we will prepare for their rebirth."
Dianna asks her Mother
"What about Grandmother? Amadora will surely return upon discovering her friends death?"
Ellie smiles and places her hand upon her daughters shoulder,
"You don't understand. She can't come back. I designed those ships to break down after one venture. Their power supply will diminish to nothing the moment they arrive at the twin planet. The planet itself will die as soon as the farthest sun goes supernova. One half of the twin planet will be destroyed. My mother can never return as the gate I designed is controlled solely by me. From here. I've doomed her to remain on a lifeless rock for all her days because she never took the time to learn about mechanics, technology or science. She took her powers for granted assuming I'd be loyal to her forever. But I didn't betray her, she betrayed Oah. She allowed laws to be written that she herself broke with.
I must go to Mount Zahadume and bring Rianna home. I'll be back before the children are reborn."

Aries quickly rushes to grasp Athena age cradles her head and looks into Elizabeth's eyes. He can see sorrow behind them for an instant. Ellie then moves her eyes left without moving any part of her frame still holding the Apothis Unit out as her Subordinate Officer, a newly trained Aurii Amazon, born on the red side,
Sanna of Staihne House, the wife of Senate Regent Morrigon Staihne and Elizabeth's appointed Senate Leader. Sanna along with a small contingent of Aurii Amazons lower through the common room sky portal. A window without glass to the sky. Sanna stands having moved so quickly it startles the smaller children.
"Well done Elizabeth. I followed you to let you know your Mothers fleet will be over the Capitol in a few metrions. We don't have a lot of time."
Ellie looks to her mother's best friend scolding
"My Mother is my concern subordinate. Have a care with your tone. Where's your daughter?"
Ellie looks around and then back to the center of the common room and spots the fair skinned, red haired girl, Sanna's daughter, Theodora Staihne and gently waves her over to them.
"Become here fairchild. My Mother will be among us soon."
Elli's own children look on the scene. Still sitting at the island counter, now joined by their elder siblings who as well look on confused. Ellie watches Theodora rush to her Mother's side and glance up at her. Ellie smiles down to her,
"Oh it's simply too bad you were born on the red side... You would have been a marvelous Amazon Commander... But today, hopefully with your Mother's offering, you'll make a wonderful handmaiden to my daughter."
The child looks over to the children seated silently and looking at her, as she looks to them.
Sanna smiles and leans over whispering
"Commander, they've finished building your Mothers gate atop the mountain."
Ellie taps her Subordinate Amazon's shoulder walking toward her children instructing her subordinate, Sanna.
"Command an Armored Personnel Carrier to arrive within the next prime matrion. I have need of transport."
Ellie turns her attention to her children,
"My Mother, the great Amadora of Zahn house will arrive here at her old house... My House. She will come to know you all. My eldest children and youngest...."
Bo-Shawn Zahn swoops down through the common room sky portal, landing gently and running swiftly to his wife's side.
"This is a momentous occasion children, your Grandmother has found another world like our own, and she wants to take my Ascended children with her... "
Ellie places her hands together in front of her, almost holding her stomach. The pain behind her eyes is noticeable even to her youngest children, but to any other Amazon in the room she is almost emotionless. The look of pain is unmistakable to her family, she may as well be sobbing. She continues talking to her children.
"You've never met your Grandmother face to face, only heard of her in school or from what I've told you. She expects to find my Ascended children but.."
She turns to face her husband Bo-Shawn,
"But we already know there's only one of you..."
As she speaks she turns away from Bo-Shawn and toward the children once more. Sanna looks on with interest as her commanding officer seems to be taking her time for some reason. Ellie kept talking but stopped the moment she realized Sanna was listening. She faces Sanna,
"Take your daughter to the garden outside, I will speak to my family alone."
Ellie faces Bo-Shawn and tears clearly streak down her cheeks. He grasps her forearms gently whispering
"It's the Amazon law, we have to do it this way. I'll help you if need be.."
Ellie grabs his hands
"No! I'll do it! It, I just..I know what it'll mean."
Apollo and Aries stand, assuring the children to stay where they are and rub the arms of the child they speak to. Shawn-Eric and his twin Raijinn smile as the older boys comfort them. Riri, Jules and Thana smile as well comforted by Dianna. Elizabeth begins speaking again
"My Mother sent a survey ship to a far distant world, away from even our galaxy. It is like Oah. It also has two suns. But... "
Thana and Riri look to Julianna and then the three look to their mother wide eyed speaking in an almost melodic chorus
"You did not tell her the suns were dying."
Dianna covers her mouth wide eyed having heard this horrific news.
She removes her hands and looks blank at her Mother
"That's why you swore to build her that gate... So she'd go to her new world."
Aries moves forward almost believing that Didi would attack. Athena mumbles facing the floor but seated and speaks as well while Ellie backs up into her husband's arms,
"When you first built the gate, she came. But you didn't want her to take any of us, so you changed us... Took our ascendant powers away."
Elizabeth steps away and forward of her husband
"They weren't taken, the process was slowed... Even I can't change what you'll become. I've studied our physiology more intelligently than my Mother, the first Amazon. Believe me, she doesn't know that part. She won't take you or the boys Athena, just the children and I won't let her... I have to do this! That woman will take my babies because of an Ancient Amazon Law. I can't let her. She has to believe they're non ascended beings. Only one... the strongest of you all."
Athena looks down to the floor remembering her own pain. She raises her head looking straight at Riri.
Ellie faces Bo-Shawn as he hands her a blade. Aries and Apollo purse their lips all, walking around the island countertop. Ellie sobs and again, speaks
"What I'm doing now, I do for a free Oah."
Ellie takes the blade walking up behind the distracted children. Apollo walks behind Shawn-Eric and covers his eyes almost crying himself. His little brother covers his own ears wondering if this is a game. The younger girls on the other side of the counter weep silently, having heard their mother's thoughts.
Ellie purses her lips and strikes at Shawn-Erics back as the blade juts through his tiny frame exiting his chest through the front, piercing his heart instantly.
Apollo lays his head down gently and takes his small, limp body away to another room. Ellie walks up behind Raijinn who heard or saw nothing as he and Shawn-Eric right thought they were playing a game, so nothing's changed in his mind, he's still oblivious and clutching his ears. Aries bites his lower lip sobbing and almost shaking as Ellie once more stabs forward. Raijinn slumps forward into Aries' arms. Aries scoops up his little brothers lifeless body and carries him to the same room Apollo took Shawn-Eric.
Athena, knowing there was no way out of this stands behind Thana. Thana places her hands in her lap
She turns her head up facing Athena
"We know why, we will miss talking to one another."
Athena sobs, tears dropping into her sisters forehead as she lowers to kiss her. Thana closes her eyes at the kiss as she asks
"Atty? Will it hurt?"
Athena hears the words. She heard the question and now only sees the blade, glistening in the light as the tip glimmers through her sisters soft and tiny frame. She cradles Thana by her head and with a free hand, closes her eyes, whispering
"Yes, it hurts."
Athena follows taking Thana away.
Rianna holds reaches out to Jules, sitting side by side and they lock hands, as Elizabeth walks past. Dianna holds Julianna by her shoulders kissing the top of her head. Julianna smiles through her own tears looking at Riri. Riri can't face her right away and suddenly feels so emotional and begins recalling their smiles and laughter. Then, her hand feels different. There's no grip, so she grips tighter. She then faces Juliana almost eye to eye. But Jules eyes seem different now. They're still blue, but dots in the middle.. they're getting wider and wider. Dianna reaches forward of Julianna's face and closes her eyes as Juli slumps back into her sisters arms.
Elizabeth stands behind her little girl Rianna holding her shoulders,
"Be the strongest for Mommy. Learn from your grandmother. Learn all you can. When everything is said and done I'll come for you. I won't leave you there honey. I promise I'll come for you."

Chapter 1 the Family

Ascendant daytime, a beautiful morning. Tsu-Jinn Valley, west of Tsu-Jinn city just below Mount Zahadume. The Valley is wide open and nearly flat and surrounded by mountain peaks. The modest white house so named ZahnHome is where our story begins...
The two Oahn suns Zah and Ahn were shining bright, one setting slowly, the other rising. A set of brilliant blue eyes casts a gaze on the morning, Rianna Zahn slowly rises from her bed staring first at her and her sisters room. She awoke to the dawn out of habit and curiously looks about now almost fully awake. She giggles watching her sisters sleep hovering as always. She's fascinated by Athena, her older sister as she never really turns in her hover sleep. She crawls steadily to the end of her bed as her Twin sister Thana and her other triplet Julianna hover low, meaning they'd wake soon. She had little and precious time to watch Athena. While she gazes, her minds eye recalls the image of her other sisters sleeping, they turn in their sleep, arms up or out, their legs flutter slightly giving rise to the notion that they're dreaming of walking. Dianna moves too But Atty, as she calls her elder sister, sleeps differently. She's almost still. Rianna scratches her head and her knuckles brush up against soft skin and fluttering hair. She looks up to see Dianna staring down smiling as she hovers over Rianna.
"Oh Riri, are you watching her again?"
Thana, having landed stretches her arms and answers for her sister,
"Of course. We both think the same thing, why don't you? Our sister has learned a whole bunch at school an' maybe because of that she doesn't move. I think it's really nice."
Dianna tilts her head facing Thana
"I didn't even hear you land. Did you sleep ok sweetheart?"
Thana and Riri look at one another and close their eyes speaking together
"Yes."
Julianna, still hovering moves her foot down aiming her toe at Thana's forehead and giggles slightly pushing her head back only slightly,
"Shhh, it's not our business how Atty sleeps."
Thana reaches out and grabs her foot tickling Dianna forcing her to lose focus and drop on top of Rianna. Riri squeals and laughs out loud immediately followed by Dianna grabbing her mouth and Thana rushing up to the foot of the bed watching intently as Athena slumbers. Dianna reaches over and slaps Thana on her shoulder, she whispers slightly scolding and laughing simultaneously. Julianna caresses Thana's arm and the two join their sisters at the foot of the bed, A wonderful sight,
"Oh my Goddess that was close! Don't tickle me when I'm hovering over someone!"
Rianna with her sisters hands over her mouth nibbles at her fingers and Dianna brushes her fingers instantly on her gown, completely ignoring Athena
"Riri that tickled!"
She quickly grasps her own mouth as the the girls on either side laugh almost out loud. They huddle close still holding their mouths giggling. Julianna releases her grip on her mouth sensing something from her sister, who still hadn't moved. Athena breaks the silence moving her head up,
"Were you scums watching me sleep again?"
Julianna quickly realizes her sisters have moved back against the large headboard and scurries back squealing and giggling against and then into Dianna's arms and Thana to her right, Riri to her left clutching at both, watching Athena turn and hit the bed landing foot first.
"I missed that the most I think?"
Riri jumps away from her sisters grasp and into her older sisters arms hugging her
"I love that you are home my sweet sweet Atty. And we are happy and Mom I guess, um... Well. Daddy's happy and.. "
Thana rushes out of bed and grasps Riri by her shoulders looking up and smiling at Atty,
"She rambles a whole lot until she realizes she's doing it and then so do I but I'm just.."
Dianna shifts out of bed following Thana and turns sharply standing next to Athena who is only slightly taller but an ascendant year apart in age. looking at The triplets who smaller. Standing almost at Athenas tummy
"Kids these days. Huh?"
She smiles and gently pokes her elbow into Athena's upper thigh. Athena smiles and settles to a kneeling position, now facing her younger siblings, Dianna lowers with her face to face with all,
"I've really missed you guys. Academy is tough and well... I never take the time to just hang out with you these days and I'm really sorry for that. Can you ever forgive me?"
Riri places her tiny ivory hand on Athena's face along with Julianna and Thanastasia.
Riri smiles and tells her big sister
"You are not really far away because we feel you an when you have fun it feels fun for us because... because..."
Thana intercedes
"Because we miss you. It feels stronger when we really miss you and we play outside and we feel like we play with you here because we feel you."
Dianna now huddled into a hug reaches into their arms as well as Athena's. Julianna whispers in tiny breaths
"You don't have to go back to academies. You can stay here. We don't like the nanny... "
Thana and Riri rapidly force their hands on to Jules mouth instantly glaring at their sister as though she's given something away. Dianna stands without hesitation and quickly steps back. Athena glares at Jules and then turns to face either sister on either side. She lowers her head and smiles,
"Nina (Thana), Riri and Jules... don't hide things from me. I could never hurt you sweet girls. Tell me about the Nanny."
The three girls stare at Dianna who is standing and facing away from all. She smiles through her words,
"Atty. The lady that watches the girls drinks Thaer all day. She doesn't watch the girls at all. Mom doesn't know because she isn't here and gets out so late that no one brings it up. You know like I do, you don't bother Mom when she's tired. I waited for you to come back from Academy to tell you but the babies beat me to it.
Riri rushes up to Athena who stands, and yanks on her gown causing Athena snap her focus downward.
"Don be mad cause we.. "
Athena scoops up her little sister Riri and grabs Juli while Dianna picks up Thana.
"You don't be sorry sweety girl. I'm home and I'll take care of this."
Thana jumbles her words only a little due the fact that the group of tiny girls is being carried by their older sisters who are now rushing through the halls of their home. Athena moves like she's on fire. Heading down the spiral stairwell and into then past the common room of their house. A small and tidy white interior for a large family. The elder sisters come to the dining hall and place the little ones on seats at the island counter. Athena places her hands on the counter and looks down attempting to contain her rage. Dianna walks up behind her and caresses her shoulders.
"Keep it together, don't worry the girls please?"
Atty calms down and breathes looking over to her sister
"I'm fine. I'm ok, it'll be ok."
She looks at the three little ones and asks
"Does the Nanny cook food?"
The girls shake their heads in unison without flinching their looks at all. No smiles or movements, telling Athena everything she needs to know. That they're telling the truth. She turns and faces Dianna,
"Keep them smiling, I'm going to make breakfast."
Dianna rushes to the side of the counter giving Athena room to work. The triplets giggle watching their older sisters. Thana fixes her gaze on Athena while Julianna and Riri watch Dianna. Athena gathers her ingredients and shell proteins and spices. She turns facing the cupboard removing three tiny silver cups and places them in front of each little one,
Jules, Riri and Thana. Then sways back and begins stirring the shell proteins in the aethir pan. While Dianna distracts the girls with jokes and funny faces, Athena cooks and plates their food, thinking furiously about what she'll say to the woman who took the Nanny position. No sooner does Athena serve the last plate does the Nanny walk in.
"Girls your parents left early this morning and they woke my up, so we're skipping waking up until later in the day...?"
She is startled by Athena's appearance and stops walking.
"You must be Athena? The older sister? You didn't have to do that... I would have.. "
Athena, who seconds prior was about to sit and eat with her sisters now stands glaring at the Nanny.
"You would have what? Gotten a drink? Put my sisters back to bed and slept the whole day? Is that right?"
Dianna knows first hand what her sister is capable of and quickly steps in front of Athena facing the Nanny,
"By now, I'm on a transport heading to school. While I've been leaving to school thinking you would be ok with the girls, you've been leaving them unsupervised. I haven't shown Athena the security sensors recording. But I'm sure my Mom wouldn't give the pass codes to anyone but Dad. Which means what you do all day is in there."
Athena steps up from behind Didi,
"What we're saying is, we ARE GOING TO show my Mother what you've been doing while you were charged with watching her baby girls. We're giving you a head start. You better run because I'm going to call the one woman on Oah who can find you anywhere."
The Nanny, a young woman poorly dressed in the Oahn fashion sense wore the same clothes as yesterday. Riri mentions this,
"Tha lady is wearing the same dress as priory."
Thanastasia speaks in agreement,
"Ya, she wears the same thing a whole big bunch."
Jules turns her seat toward the Nanny
"She sleeps a whole big bunch too."
Dianna turns facing Athena who starts moving toward the Nanny. Athena scolds her as she begins fumbling to grab her things and then rushes away and through the common room. Then out the door.
Athena takes Dianna by her hand and they jump excitedly and so too do the triplets. Two older boys walk in to the dining hall rubbing their heads and stretching to awaken. Apollo Zahn and his twin Brother Aries Amadeus look confused at the girls squealing excited. Right behind them, two smaller boys follow clutching their legs worried the Nanny might be around. Shawn Eric Zahn and Raijinn Amadeus stare at one another, also confused at their sisters behavior.
Apollo speaks up aiming his comment at his sister, who is his age, Athena
"Hey Atty, what'd we miss?"
