Calia was slightly taken aback by Serenity's order. In all her time around, The golden haired Goddess had never suggested that she would like to spend any sort of time with her. She was always kind, and never allowed Calia to want for anything. But socially speaking, she was always distant. Calia was unsure what to think, but she obeyed, pulling a chair closer and taking a seat. As usual, she diverted her eyes, as Serenity's robe remained open. When asked if they could "Just talk," Calia suddenly felt a shyness that she wasn't familiar with. A part of her wondered if she was in trouble, but mostly, she felt transparent, and exposed. "What did you want to talk about?" She asked, her hands fidgeting slightly. She was a ball of nerves, and she wasn't exactly sure why.

"Have a seat. . ." The goddess spoke softly; trying to subdue the harshness of her voice created by the drink and sickness. Her eyes didn't leave the slowly darkening land. "That chair over there, bring it closer to me." She tried her best to not sound overly demanding as if she was ordering her to give her company. Despite having Calia around, Serenity just couldn't get over the fact that she had literally no one around her. Her world was vast and colorful. It was peaceful at times, yet life forms besides the abundance of animals are scarce. Many of the denizens of Edenia only see Serenity as this object of worship and not one to speak to. Sure, the offerings are nice, but the loneliness could get overwhelming. She couldn't understand how her family got used to this. "Can we just. . Talk for a bit?"

Calia loved to cook. It allowed her to express her creativity and curiosity through experimentation, in a way that could be tested, rather through some artistic mean in which she had no talent. She got little opportunity to do it back home though. She had no family, and her friends weren't exactly the "Come over for Sunday dinner types. Being here had given Calia the opportunity to explore that side of herself, and she was incredibly grateful. But in exchange, she had given up the social life that was also a huge part of who she was. No matter where she was, she always felt incomplete.

She was halfway down the hall back to the kitchen when she heard Serenity call out for her to return. She rarely heard from the blond haired Goddess after delivering her food. She turned back immediately.Every step she took could be heard down the halls. Her hair was full of life and bounced with every step like a child at play.

Once she made it back to the patio, she smiled at her mistress, the early twilight served Calia well,, soaking into her mocha brown skin for an elegant shine. She wore an electric blue halter top witha low U line and simple white jeans. She hadn't gone a day without wearing heels since her arrival. "Can I do something else for you, ma'am?" She spent a lot of time practicing her neutral accent. She could only hope by this point that it sounded natural.

Serenity was starting to feel a little hazy now that the drinks have settled in; that or the sickness is getting worse. Regardless, the woman felt at ease now that she had some regular company and some of the weight of taking care of things have been lifted from her shoulders. The soft breeze flowed through Serenity's golden hair as if the fingers of angels sent to calm the goddess' mood. Added to the wind, was the scent of Calia's cooking; the woman was amazing in the kitchen and Serenity knew she would not be able to match her in that department no matter how hard she tried. The thought forced a small giggle to escape her minimally parted lips as she turned to watch the woman at work.

Serenity didn't really know much about the woman, other than the fact that she was able to just stumble upon Edenia; not many were able to do such a thing. She was a nice woman, who had the beauty of the god's themselves as well. She needed a place, and Serenity would be a fool to allow the woman to leave. She did notice, though, Calia would choose her words carefully and act as if she's not entirely comfortable with Serenity; she didn't like that. As the woman delivered the food, Serenity's violent/ mirrored eyes studied the woman as she turned to leave. Noting Calia's seemingly lack of emotions.

Sighing sharply, Serenity sat up and called out to Calia. "Calia. Would you mind stepping out here again?" As Serenity awaited Calia's return, the woman leaned back into her chair to rest for the few seconds it would take for the ebony woman to return. Serenity didn't focus on her ailments or the food. For this moment, Calia was the focus of her attention.

This was never the life Calia expected for herself. A woman of her status; Virtually immortal, powers most women could only dream of, living her life as a servant. She was happy though. For the past year and a half she had offered her services to Serenity in exchange for her protection.

One of Zeus' many illegitimate children, Hera had marked Calia for death millenia ago. One way or another she always managed to escape and hide, while many of her siblings were eliminated. Despite knowing many still lived, she was unable to make contact with them. It was too dangerous. In modern days, the Gods of Olympus carry little weight. In fact, most dieties were unable to have major influences on the world at all. She had done good on her own for a while, posing as a normal human, working as a Nurse. But somehow, the witch had gotten ahold of her scent.

It was only because Serenity had brought Calia to Edenia, far outside the observation of Olympus, that Calia was able to survive. It wasn't what she was used to. No Iphones, or Netflix, but she was alive! In her gratitude, she offered to serve Serenity, caring for her in any way she could.

Despite her kindness, Serenity had never been very social with Calia. As a Goddess, she never got sick, or injured. And she was very independent, leaving Calia with little to do for her. But on occasion she got the opportunity to make Serenity a meal, or help her pick out an outfit. (That was her favorite) Serenity had the most AMAZING clothes! But even so, Calia was lonely. She had friends and loved ones back in New York. She missed having those social interactions. But to go back would mean risking her life.

She was in the kitchen, preparing dinner when Serenity made her appearance, scantily clad as usual. Calia averted her eyes. Sure, she had been in locker rooms, and changed with, and around other women before, but for some reason, it felt inappropriate to look at Serenity in such a way. "Good evening." She said, eyes plastered to the ground, the stove, anywhere but Serenity's bare skin. Calia tried to be as proper as possible around the Goddess. She used proper English, and even did her best to eliminate that New York accent she had developed.

Serenity didn't seem to notice her though. She grabbed a bottle from the freezer and made her way off to the patio. With a sigh, she returned to cooking. In twenty minutes, a delicious Chicken Parmesan would be prepared. Calia made a plate and took it out to where Serenity was seated. "Here you go, ma'am..." She said, taking a step back.

There was something different about Serenity. She never paid Calia much attention, but she didn't look well. She was pale, and looked uneasy. Perhaps she could get sick after all! "Please let me know if you need anything else." She said, softening her voice as much as she could, before excusing herself back to the kitchen. She still had cleaning to do...

It has been nearly two years since Serenity had seen Maya last. The woman mentioned that she had to return to her lands in order to take care of some things, but she had never returned or said a word to Serenity. Was this her fate? To be loved then lost? It was a horrible realization, but Serenity had to move on with her life and right now, Maya was the least of her worries. . .

Her flesh was getting paler than usual. The light within her was getting brighter. Blue veins traveled her body in specific patterns reminiscent of her father and grandfather. She could feel that something was changing within her, yet she couldn't quite figure it out.  Serenity wished that she could have her father, grandfather, or mother around to tell her about what was happening to her. Hell even a visit from Shermie would prove helpful, despite the annoyance that it would bring with it.  Amaya would be an amazing help as well. . . Sighing as she looked through her family's archives to seek answers, Serenity was directionless. She had no idea where to start or where she would end up. She didn't know if she was dying or just sick. "This whole goddess thing is a pain in the ass!" Serenity fussed while throwing a book to the side. She quickly got up, slender **** body barely hidden under a silken robe that was left untied, made it's way to the kitchen to make herself a drink. "I need this. . " She said to herself as she pulled a bottle from the freezer, popped open the top and started to take swigs while making her way to the patio table out back. The view was amazing from here; she could see nearly all of Edenia from this vantage point. It helped her relax and think.

His head cocked to the side as he watched the woman, Mia, come to him bearing a bowl of fruit; the hues narrowing slightly as he gazed upon the delicate flesh of the fruit, pondering the girls words before he took one of each.

Slight surprise had shown upon his face when the woman had knelt in front of him, seemingly unafraid of his presence; or affected by the seemingly eternal cold that radiated from his body. Even sitting as the two were, he was giant; almost intimidating if not for the life that shown deep within the blue-azure hues that seemed to catch everything, missing nothing; the small grin that gave the impression of knowing more than others.

Demonreach usually held a presence that a select few could feel from far away, so as Mia had knelt in front of him, presumably within the radius of the ice that formed as a result of the arctic cold radiating outward, the fullness of his presence was akin to a mountain that stood tall despite the forces working against it, or a forest that stretched beyond the horizon, each tree centuries old; persevering despite the sands of time.

He took a small bite of the first fruit, easily dwarfed by his hand and the maw that opened to take a small bite from the yellow fruit.

Grinning, the giant took a bite from the red fruit.

He laughed at the wonderful taste of them both, stuffed the remaining into his pockets as he nodded his head at the two women, 'Most delightful, I must admit. I hope you don't mind if I "borrow" them.'

He plucked another of the yellow fruit from the bowl and munched slowly as Serenity spoke to him.

Instead of feeling offended, or insulted, he chuckled, cocking his head in mild amusement, 'A plant god? No, not quite, my Serenity. I am nothing while being everything. What I am cannot be contained by words, though there were once a species that had a phrase for what I am.' Something dark clouded his features, the coldness from his body turning bitter and stung at the flesh as he spoke of said species, continuing, 'Needless to say, they no longer exist.'

The mirth returned, shrugging his broad shoulders. 'Some kind of accident brought on by a cataclysmic event that ended their world.' Again, he grinned as if he knew some secret they did not; which he just might, in the instance. 'Besides, I am better than any god; I am not some idea brought on by mortal, or immortal, desires or fears; worshiped by ignorant masses, captivated by fear and awe.

'Do you consider yourself a god, Serenity? Or even you, Mia? If this is your realm, Serenity, you must feel some godlike power or something, no? Does Mia worship you? Keep your power flowing by believing in you? What if her faith, her trust, faltered? Would you lose anything? Gain?'

The eyes of the man were focused, intent upon both women, awaiting answers should any come forth; the air around him becoming still, as if it too were awaiting.

However, the moment passed, at least for him, and continued on as if he had said nothing. 'Perhaps, I may allow you, though I fear judgment from you; that you may not like it, or wish me to get rid of it. After all, it is a copy, so it cannot dare compare, especially with as old as this place is. You ancestors have my respect as do you.' His head inclined once again, smiling at the both of them; something more genuine about it than the previous times he had graced them with a smile.

Mia was always the observant type; the type of woman that would let her curiosity take hold before rushing into any situation. Serenity loved that about her: It was like the perfect Yin and Yang. Serenity was headstrong and feisty while Mia was usually very calm and quiet. Don't let that fool you though, her people are known to be very dangerous if the need should ever arise. Like Mia, Serenity figured that the visitor was peaceful. Even though the tone that he took to Mia was condescending. She just figured him an elder of some sort; that's usually how their types are anyway. The glow around Serenity's body seemed to brighten, from being dull to almost as luminescent as she once was. That would mean that her body was healing from all the trauma she had endured months earlier.

"Oh, I get it now.."Serenity spoke up after the man's intentions were made clear. "You're like some sort of plant god?" She asked, twitching her eyebrows. That didn't come out the way she wanted it to, but she assumed her got the point. "This entire land was once governed by my grandfather, who later gave it to my father. Now, it's mine. I'm happy with it, but it's quite old timey if you ask me.." Serenity told him while spreading her arms as if to show the entire landscape. "Honestly, I think I like it this way. It's probably the most beautiful place I have ever seen. I"m glad that you have taken a liking to it. Maybe we could come and visit your place sometime?" She offered while finally taking a step back as Mia approached the gargantuan behemoth.

Mia eyed the man as he spoke with Serenity, green eyes hiding a small twinge of annoyance at his sudden arrival that severed the growing connection between herself and the beautiful queen next to her. But maybe that was for the best. Now that they were no longer in the right environment to pursue one another, Mia straightened up, tucking ebony strands behind her ear, leaving his question unanswered, as it was for the best to not reply. His strength was great, that was undeniable, but the longer she sat in his presence the more comfortable she grew. She wasn’t intimidated by him, however she knew the second he decided he needed to find something out he would let that monster she knew he was hiding out.

“Is that really why you’ve come here? To admire the gardens?” She finally spoke, her voice tinkling through the air like a chorus of chimes. It wasn’t soon after that Mia grabbed the bowl and made her way over to him, giving Serenity a small smile as she moved away. Her steps were graceful, almost as if she were floating, and on closer inspecting that was the cause; toes just barely making contact with the ground as she grew closer to Demonreach. Maybe it was a bad idea to get close to him without knowing his true intentions for being in Serenity’s realm, but Mia had faith in her abilities as well as Serenity’s – she knew she would be safe.

“Here, try some.” The bowl of fruit was offered to the large man, who towered over her even when she was knelt down next to him. From this close proximity she could see the ice forming around him and feel the chill that radiated off of his skin and latched onto hers. “The yellow one is Myuta, and this one,” She said, a cube of the red fruit held delicately in her fingers, “is Spryt.” Mia gestured with the fruit, giving him the chance to see it before bringing it to her lips to eat.

Demonreach offered Mia the small bow of his head as Serenity introduced her as she had greeted him, 'Does your voice elude you, child? Would you let another speak in your stead?'

But he smiled beatifically at the two women, letting his gaze shift towards Serenity. 'Why, nothing more than idle curiosity, I assure you. It was quite difficult getting here, but alas, there is nothing I cannot penetrate. Given time.'

His head tilted to slightly, watching the two women; watching as Serenity relaxed infinitesimally; as Mia took her own queue from the other woman. 'A slave perhaps...' But he rolled his broad shoulders as if it mattered little and exhaled softly, letting his body fall to a sitting position, legs crossed. The bottoms of his feet only slightly dirty from the earth he now tread upon. Grass crumbled beneath his body as he sat, the circle of ice seeming to spread moreso.

The sapphire-azure gaze held little emotion save a childlike glee; a curiosity that came off as some demonic hunger, tinging the otherwise bright hues with a dark shadow. 'But you should not let yourself relax overly much, Serenity, as I have been known to lapse in a rather... morbid sense of finding out things that I am curious about. A flaw, I may be hesitant to say, to my otherwise perfect being for no diamond is perfect. So if my words offend, or cause much distress to you and yours, let me know, but do not be fearful of having to hold your tongue around me.'

His eyes looked over the two women for the hundredth time it seemed, taking in the closeness of their bodies; the way Mia had seemed to cling to Serenity's own words like the world around him clung to his, or perhaps his own wife. He sighed wistfully as thoughts of her filled his head. Ever eccentric, and easily bored, he found himself away from her time and time again, though he tried to keep his leavings short and comings longer.

'You've a very marvelous garden here, one I shall -but in vain- try to replicate for it is not often I meet a green thumb as grand as my own. Nothing is as ever as beautiful as the original, though I shall do yours justice, you have my word.'

The fruit was so sweet. The day was so beautiful. Serenity was happy to spend this day with her friend, Mia.. Or was it something more than that? An unspoken thing that the duo felt between each other, but something caused them to keep the feelings to themelseves. But through this time of just hanging out, relaxing with each other and barely speaking; the words that were spoke, however, were powerful and had weight behind each phrase. 'My Queen' The phrase... So powerful, had hit Serenity deep. Not only the words, but the way the words were expressed. It was as if Mia was claiming Serenity as her own in her words; of course, Serenity fought everything she had to not glow. That was obviously something that Serenity couldn't do. "MY Queen.." She responded with a bright glowing smile.

Serenity turned to Mia and took hold of Mia's hand. The darkness of her brown flesh made a perfect contrast with Serenity's glowing ivory skin. She laced her fingers with Mia's while turning her multicolored mirrored eyes to gaze  into the deep soulful eyes of Mia. The moment was pure and somehow innocent, even though the intent and heavy meaning behind this small gesture could be felt miles away...

Serenity's attention, however was severed from Mia's as when she felt a dark energy enter her realm, and not too far from her home. The energy was dark, yet not sinister. She wondered how this energy appeared. Was the gate keeper laxed in her duties? It would normally take an invitation or have some type of link or bond with an Edenian in order to even find the passage way to Edenia. It wasn't like it was some random island on Earth or something... Maybe this was Shermie's doing? She wouldn't ask. . .Yet. As Mia's curiosity got the best of her, Serenity followed, letting the long towel around her sweep her body like a glowing dress. As they neared the mountain of a man, he introduced himself and expressed that he wouldn't be a threat, Serenity's posture relaxed only slightly upon this mans revelation. Of course, one couldn't just believe any stranger who just popped up.

"I'm Serenity and this is Mia..." Serenity explained while glancing at the curious Mia. "What brings you to these lands?" She asked. Her normally soft and giddy voice transformed to what seemed to carry an air of power and confidence. All five foot two inches of the woman starred up at the man without wavering, as she awaited his response. His aura didn't choke her, nor did it blot out the brightness of the mainlands, so he didn't pose a great threat with his intentions, but one couldn't be too careful. Even though Lumi was gone for her mating season, she was still linked with Serenity, so if they woman ever needed help, the beast would come roaring back in no time...

With the fruit nestled on her tongue, Mia was surprised when Serenity grasped her hand and placed the two juice-covered fingers between the innocent pink lips that adorned her face. The interaction was slow, as if the world stopped; every swirl of Serenity’s tongue seemed exaggerated and… utterly sexy. Mia found herself unable to keep still, and as a result she shifted her body closer to the blonde’s, subconsciously catching her plump bottom lip between her teeth to stifle the dreamy sigh she felt dancing its way out of her lungs. “Thank you, my queen.” Rather than sigh, Mia replaced the pleasured noise with a just as husky voice, volume just above a whisper so as to not disturb the peace the surrounded them.

While her face remained at ease, her body was positively alight with a blazing fire that ran through her veins and made her feel. Nothing more, nothing less. Mia had always cared for her people, as it was her queenly right to do so, but never did it exceed beyond her duty as their ruler. The care and affection she felt towards Serenity was of a completely different caliber and otherworldly.  It pierced to her very core - in more ways than one.

Once more the voice of the land took up conversation as the two women remained silent, both succumbing to the thoughts racing within their heads. Both Mia and Serenity knew each other for years. Growing up, they would meet several times a year as their ‘handlers’ comuned to keep peace between their lands. As fate would have it, they formed a bond; a deep friendship surrounded by a sea of inexplicable tension that Mia found herself addicted to. Even now, as she currently sat beside Serenity, the tension was ever present, perhaps thicker than it normally was after their sensuous exchange with one another.

A whisper from the golden goddess brought Mia out of her thoughts, bright eyes dancing over to the bright woman as she ate another cube of fruit. Mia hummed in reply, reciprocating the smile with a tentative look around them as the atmosphere suddenly shifted. The tension was at an all time high, though it was no longer that raw, sexual tension it was before. Mia found her body stiffening as the newcomer made his way towards them, announcing his arrival with a powerful voice.

Much like the earth, Mia found herself inching closer towards him the more he spoke, ears quite fond of his voice - it held a smooth, if not tender, quality to it, a delightful contrast to his natural ruggedness, though it was no match to the beautiful tinkling of Serenity’s voice. A voice that Mia waited to reply to the man, as it was Serenity’s lands, a place where Mia’s words held no power. So she remained silent, green eyes dancing over Deamonreach’s figure with a hesitant sparkle, offering the man nothing more than an inclination of her head as greeting.

A tropical realm.

One of beauty and power.

So be it

The thought brushed across the realm; the wind carrying the silent whisper to the ears of all that would dare listen. Would dare to acknowledge the coming presence.

The presence was pervasive, filling the air with energy; with life. Everything standing to attention.

The wind, the grass, the trees... All whispered the coming presence; murmuring softly of the shadows; gossiping of the darkness following.

With the two women perhaps being the only sentient creatures about, perhaps only they could register the unknown that was so suddenly brought upon this realm; this place of Light. Of beauty. A place soon stained with a dark soul; a soul of silent wanderings of places between; the Walker of the Void.

The soul revealed itself, himself.

Easily classified as a giant, the godlike creature was suddenly within the light; basking in the warmth of the sun; nostrils inhaling the fresh air, the scent of flowers and fruit. Witnessing the interactions of the two women with curious eyes that watched with such intensity as to pierce their souls.

From this giant came a sense of age, of otherwordliness. Standing so still beneath the sun, the sky, he was unnatural; his own beauty shining from within and without; so perfectly carved from flesh was this man that wearing even the colorless pants seemed a sin. But within that beauty was a darkness, a shadow that cast itself over the light that shined so brightly within as to light up the sapphire-azure eyes that glittered with secrets, both dark and pleasant; of things better left in the dark, never to be brought to the light of day.

The wind that whispered of his coming kissed his flesh gently, dancing within the tresses of silver-ebony; writhed with the Celtic knots that swirled in endless patterns upon the pale flesh of his torso and arms; flesh pulled taunt over hard, lean muscle.

The being radiated the calm before a storm, as if holding a great and terrible disaster at bay; as if the smile upon his face held back some form of chaos that threatened to destroy, to erase all order.

His presence, the sense of self that radiated from this being of unknown origins, was almost a solid thing; as if he was more solid, more more there than the women; than the trees; than the realm itself. His sense of self, his aura, radiating so completely outward as to pervade the air, manifesting itself in slight ways.

Around this creature stood a ring of ice, frozen grass and flowers lay at his feet; glittering within the sun, tinkling and breaking with the wind. Cold air radiated off of him in faint wafts as warm air hit the body. Standing within this ring, barefoot, the god-esque being gave no inclination that this bothered him. Instead, he merely stared at the two women, gauging them; studying them. Offered a small smile, though the curiosity within his gaze never wavered.

When he spoke it was like rolling thunder, with each word the flora leaned towards him, as if afraid to miss a word, 'Forgive my being forward and intruding, I mean no offense. I am Demonreach.' His head inclined everso slightly in a bow, the smile twitching slightly to convey his apologies, though his eyes never changed.

Once Mia took the dripping juice from Serenity's chin and placed it in her own mouth, there was this silence that crept over them. The only sounds that were heard were the rising of Serenity's heart rate. The throbbing sounds pounded into her ears as the other sounds were sucked away from her. Those thick chocolate lips wrapping around the long fingers to suck the juices off that were once upon Serenity's own lips. It seemed like the world had stopped spinning, time itself had come to a standstill. After a while, Serenity had noticed that she was staring, so immediately she had broken her gaze from the beautiful woman sitting next to her. Clearing her throat, Serenity uttered a soft "Thank you.." as her mind tried to quickly come back into reality. The sounds of the distant waterfall, the birds chirping, the winds blowing through the area hitting wind chimes all came back into her senses. It all created a masterful soundtrack for the situation at hand."How about I help too?"Serenity asked, taking Mia's hand and placing two of the woman's fingers into her mouth. Slowly sucking on the digits that's covered in juices from Mia's fruit. Afterward, she would release the woman's fingers.

Serenity had first met Mia a few years ago. Both would speak with each other while the 'handlers' conduct  business. They would sit back and talk to each other, even going to play in the vast orchards that lay in abundance on the island. There was always this tension between them and Serenity couldn't figure out what it was. But now, years later, she finally discovered it. They were so opposing, yet compatible. They were always so close and such good friends. They would even sleep in the same bed together all cuddled up. They would talk for hours and simple enjoy eachother's company. Mia had grown more beautiful with age; so much more graceful and her voice was like honey, milk, and clouds all rolled up into a special little ball.

"Oh God.." Serenity's peach lips allowed the whispered words to escape without her realizing it. Was she falling in love in Mia? Was she already in love with her?! Serenity couldn't determine it for now... The more she thought about her the more she realized it was more than just the friendship that drew them together. Maybe it was just Serenity's mindset and not Mia's. How would a people as classy as that even think of that... Trying to quickly deflect from the whispered outburst, Serenity turned back to Mia with a smile. "These are so good!" She said, giggling and grabbing another of the sweet yet slightly sour fruit. The time they spent together was amazing. They didn't have to do much or say much, it was the company that was more than enough.

With her eyes staring blindly at the view of the island she had and her hand mindlessly bringing a cube of fruit up to her lips, Mia was caught off guard when Serenity’s voice broke through the serene murmur of the land. Her eyes shifted over to the milky queen, who was clad in an obsidian-colored towel, and she nodded in response to the question that remained lingering in the tropical air. After swallowing the morsel and clearing her mouth, Mia situated herself in the chair so she was closer to Serenity in a way to make sharing the fruit easier. “It’s very delicious…” Her voice trailed off as she watched the other woman grab a piece of dripping fruit and bring it to her beautiful lips, a drop of the juice trailing down her pointed chin.

“Here. Let me..” Mia’s eyes lingered on the spot far too long before she finally roused herself into action, reaching out with her hand to swipe the droplet away with her thumb before bringing the appendage to her own lips to suck it off. Mia thought of several ways to get the juice off, but figured that one was most appropriate. In an attempt to ease the growing tension between them, Mia quickly grabbed a piece of the red fruit and placed it on her tongue, chewing it thoughtfully as she tried her best to keep her eyes from roaming over Serenity’s scantily clad body - though, not as to say she was any better off than the queen.

Finally finishing her bath, Serenity stood to her feet and wrapped herself in a black towel; the color a stark contrast to her glowing body. The woman turned to her steamed up mirror and, using a towel, wiped it off the best she could. The wash room was still moist and hot, as well as her flesh, but she couldn't help but take a look at herself in the mirror. She was now ruler of an entire island; simply thrust into it without any warning or direction. She sighed to herself while leaning over the grand sink. There she was, feeling sorry and doubting herself while a queen resides just in her place of residence. The woman even choose to come to HER for solace. Putting on her best smile, Serenity left the wash room to search for her guest. Making her way to the kitchen, Serenity spotted the woman, outside enjoying some fruit. "You like that?" The woman asked as she went outside to join Mia. "It's called Myuta. It's like passion fruit.." She said with a giggle pointing out the yellow fruit that Mia was indulging in. "This red juicy one.." Serenity started while seating herself next to Mia and taking the drippy fruit. "Is called Spryt. It's said that forest spirits and other creatures of that nature created this fruit long ago. It's supposed to nurture your soul and create a better bond with your being. Hence the name.." She informed her while taking a bite of the fruit and giggling as the juice dripped down her chin.

Mia noticed Serenity’s raised brow and knew immediately that her slip-up was caught. Had her cheeks been a lighter color the flush of her face would be evident on the strong lines of her cheekbones. Despite the embarrassment she felt for knowing she was caught, Mia held herself with an air of nonchalance as if it didn’t even happen so as to not make the beautiful Serenity any more suspicious than she already was.

Her wandering eyes made a loop around the elegant room before sweeping up Serenity’s attire - or lack thereof - and settled on the petite face of the glowing woman. Mia noticed her bright eyes were distracted with the slip of newly exposed skin but decided to leave that be as payment for Serenity’s own turn of shoulder moments before; for that they were even, though Mia still owed the bright princess many thanks. Replying with a silent nod of her head Mia watched as Serenity left the room, flushed and flustered. But for what? Seeing exposed skin? The body was a temple; should it not be admired and worshiped if one so chose to show it? Serenity’s modesty was cute, Mia would admit to that.

Now left to her own devices, Mia stood up, tightened the length of robe around her waist for Serenity’s sake, and left the woman’s bedroom. It was well into the morning and well passed a morning meal, though the ebony woman was hungry and knew her stomach wouldn’t be able to hold off until the midday meal so she made her way into the gorgeous kitchen of the mansion, the pads of her bare feet making her travel silent and graceful. Despite being alone, the woman’s presence demanded attention. As she entered the open kitchen she could hear the caws of the birds come to a gradual stop. Silence filled the area for only a brief moment before their musical trills filled the area once more. A gentle smile came over her strong features, clearly amused.

”Now, for breakfast…” Her nimble voice came to a delicate stop, eyes looking over the room. ”Something light, not too heavy, that can tide me over for a meal with Serenity…”

A light entered her eyes as the idea came to her. The warrior-woman cut her way through the kitchen to the refrigerator. Inside was a bowl of fruit, cubed and ready to eat, that she noticed the previous night when she made dinner for the light-skinned beauty taking a bath…

A bath…

Mia allowed herself a moment to herself, hand poised and ready to grab the container, to think of the woman whom she knew would be **** and in a warm tub full of bubbles. It was truly a wonderful thing to imagine but she caught herself before her thoughts to take an explicit turn, knowing that would only lead to trouble.

She resumed her actions as if she never stopped; scooping up the container in one hand and allowing the refrigerator to gently close behind her. From a drawer she withdrew a silver fork with beautiful work done to the handle and closed it all in the same motion. The fruit, upon inspection, were exotic things Mia couldn’t specifically name but knew were native to the wonderful land Serenity called her own. Each chunk had a delicious, juicy flavor that was different from all the others. Mia busied herself to snacking on the fruit as she waited for Serenity to call for her, seating herself outside on the winding deck that circled the beautiful mansion.

The multicolored eyes of Serenity scanned the chocolate woman before her. She could notice her body language and it was flattering. Mary would always tell her how to figure people out by they way that they move, but this Mia was still a mystery. They hardly talked to each other when the elders would meet with each other. They would see eachother in passing and exchange glances, but never the time to actually talk personally and on their own terms. This was truly a refreshing experience.

The approaching woman caused Serenity's heart to flutter; which only led to her breath being caught in her throat as the ebony fingers stroked the glowing flesh of Serenity's arm. The woman's fingers left a trail over her skin that soon vanished. What happened next shocked Serenity; Mia's words stumbled and she swore she called the woman 'my beauty'. Though, Serenity could be wrong. Her right brow raised in question, but Serenity wouldn't comment on that just yet; that was something for later. Nibbling her own peach bottom lip, Serenity nodded in response to the Mia's words. She couldn't rip her eyes from the teasing that Mia's robe provided. It slowly revealed more and more of the fit woman's body; the smooth, dark, and well moisturized skin was very attractive and the tension was getting thick. Serenity's cheeks flushed a bright pink before she turned her head away; begrudgingly. "Don't worry about it..." Serenity spoke; her voice obviously flushed just as her face. "Just get yourself comfortable.." She offered as she headed to the bathroom just adjacent to her own room.

She started the water and allowed it to build; the bubbled only slightly overflowed from the tub.  Serenity slowly slid off her robe and stepped into the hot tub allowing the heat to massage her body. Just a few weeks removed from returning to life and meeting several people who would enter her life and then remove themselves from it, Serenity was always weary of allowing herself to get close to people. But Mia, she had been around since her grandfather was around. They were little children running around and playing with each other. Having sleep overs and getting to know each other. Sadly, that all stopped during preadolescence. Now, they're all grown up and having the chance to get re-acquainted; it was nice. Her thoughts continued to drift to seeing her in the tub and then seeing how the robe tauntingly revealed more and more of the woman's body. Her nails trailed over her chest, down to her belly and inner thigh as the thoughts over came her..

After a few minutes of falling into herself, Serenity's eyes popped open as she realized what she was doing. "Oh God!"She shook her head and laughed to herself. Her body was flushed but not due to the heat of the water. She decided to take her bath normally and just soak until the thoughts remove themselves before she return to her friend. It can't be like this; this is strange. Have these feelings always been here? Or maybe she was just in need? Who knows. This is unobtainable territory; both are would be queens and that would look bad; especially for her. Edenia's rules are much more lenient. Serenity was basically queen of Edenia, so she was fine. But what about Mia's family? Shaking her head again, Serenity tried to eject all thoughts of anything happening from her mind and just enjoy her bath.

Mia’s moss green orbs trailed over Serenity’s revealing attire, appraising the woman’s body with hooded eyes and a nibble on her bottom lip, an action that was completely involuntary by the dark skinned woman. Serenity was... gorgeous. Mia was grateful to  have the chance to admire the pale woman’s body without so many clothes on. It was beautiful and held curves in all the right places, she had not a doubt that her skin would be silk soft to the touch. Oh, how she desired to touch her skin...

No. Mia couldn’t be having thoughts like that. They were inappropriate. She was here solely to visit and relax and would be leaving by the end of the week,  maybe even sooner, it really depended on how long she could force herself to stay away from her kingdom.

Mia ran a hand through her obsidian tresses, pushing the thick, curling hair out of her face as she made her way over to the other woman, a hand gently running up and down her arm in reassurement. “Do not worry. I spent more than enough time in the bath. You can use it now, my beaut--Serenity.” Was the recovery quick enough? Mia could only hope Serenity didn’t catch on to what she was saying, the dark skinned woman taking a seat on Serenity’s bed with her plump bottom lip trapped between her teeth again. Little did she know the tie around her waist was coming undone, allowing the edges of the robe to separate and reveal some of the smooth mocha skin beneath and the ample curves of her chest. “You didn’t disturb me. Don’t worry about that. Go. Take your bath.” Mia gave the beauty an encouraging smile. “Thank you, Serenity. For letting me stay. I am in your debt.”

Before embarrassment turned her cheeks and forced the woman to leave the wash room, Serenity had taken in an eyeful of the woman's bare and soaked body. It was beautiful, full, majestic, but this was wrong on so many levels! What would her country think of Serenity sneaking eyefuls of their heir?! Sitting on her bed, Serenity took deep breaths pondering what to say, what to do, or even if she could say something to the woman. After several moments of silent contemplation, a knock upon the door made the Blonde jump and squeak. Her heart raced and she started to panic and stand to her feet as the door opened; it was like a countdown to her doom. But that soft and whimsical voice calmed her down substantially. "I thought you were gone.." She said, mirrored eyes surveying the chocolate woman before her. "I was going to go and take a bath until I saw you there and.. Well.. I still wanted to.." Still in her undies, Serenity confessed; she had always thought this princess was stunning, yet it all remained unspoken. Hidden under the cover of business and 'proper etiquette', Serenity would catch herself biting her lip at the sight of the dark beautiful. They had become very close friends over the years, but it all seemed that was the only case for the both of them. "I'm sorry for walking in on you like that... My manors, where have they gone..?" She said, lowering her eyes. "I must have disturbed you."
