Description:

Personality: Achlys is a quiet, intense, and knowledgeable individual. Observant, manipulative, and prone to good nature's trickery when bored. She is often found alone or among very few as to maintain anonymity and is not likely to stay in one place for very long. She intentionally avoids disclosing any personal information but is obviously of wealth and carries herself as such. Achlys also has the ability to transition seamlessly into who/whatever the situation may call for (gender, social class, etc).

Backstory:
Lady Achlys is the and the wife of a chi blocking master in a small earth bending village. They were  ambushed and her husband was killed by rogue earth benders on their way to into town. Her narrow escape was aided by a fellow traveler who happened to avoid the same fate but not before the loss of her left eye.
The woman, Raina, was a healer who has done the best she can to help her regain her strength and balance from the attack. Lady Achlys discovered her air bending ability after becoming frustrated with her sight and performed a fairly decent air push. She had been working with Raina to find an experienced air bending teacher when Raina was suddenly called  away on an emergency, leaving Lady Achlys on her own to find a teacher as well as who she will become.

Name: Hui Bao

Description:
Bao is of average height with an athletic frame. Long pastel pink hair falls in curls that have a mind of their own over their shoulders. Bao has golden eyes that appear grey in the moonlight. Usually, in long flowy outfits, they aren't someone who stands out in a crowd.

Personality:
Bao is a calming and pleasant young woman. They work in a tea/coffee shop and have a zen personality. They seem to seamlessly slip in and out of conversations. Bao stands strong in their convictions yet isn't afraid to debate or talk with those who see the world differently.

Backstory:
A single child Bao was always a quiet one. From a young age, they managed to get involved in the local tea shop. As a result, Hui Bao is more of a steam bender as opposed to a fire one, with precise control they do a great job of managing low temperatures to the micro degree. However, they have a little bit of an adventurous streak and are curious about the new activity popping up over town.

Name: Xo Zasro.
Aliases: “The Shield of Ba Sing Se”, “The Boulder III”

Profession: Bending Teacher / Herder

Description: The Shield of Ba Sing Se is a massive hulk of muscle that is fitting of the name. Standing 6’ 8” tall, the man often finds himself not only ducking door frames, but also having to go through them sideways as he grows tired of bumping his broad shoulders against the frames. He keeps proper posture to assure maintaining his full height. His deeply squinted lids hide his eyes almost completely, but looking close enough will reveal one green iris and one completely white iris. The only hair on his body is a bushy, brown mustache and two very bushy eyebrows, his head is kept clean shaven. The left side of Xo is covered in blue rune tattoos that run from his foot to his shoulder. They have a purpose other than looking cool.

He typically dresses in sparse armor with white fur accents. An outfit that kept the style of the Water Tribe’s garments, but made for the heat of the Earth Nation. (See avatar)

Personality: Boisterous, Quick to Laugh, and typically joyful. Boasts that he has never killed an opponent in battle. Doesn’t know his own strength and will often accidentally knock friends down with his hearty pats on the back.

Backstory: Xo is descendant from an old Earth Rumble Wrestler named “The Boulder.” His ancestor had fought in the Hundred Year War long before Xo was born. It was a point of honor for their family and as the family line continued, they continued to fight for the rights and ideals of the downtrodden and persecuted.

Xo was involved in the revolution that turned the Earth Kingdom into a nation and threw off the shackles of the monarchy, establishing an elected leader. His actions during the troubling times of transition are what earned him the name “The Shield of Ba Sing Se.” During the debacle, Xo was injured and lost vision in his left eye. Once the transition was complete and the turmoil ended, Xo remained in Ba Sing Se to teach the next generation Earthbending. He also maintains a training ground in the Capital City.

Xo also maintains a small field outside of BSS where he herds strange little creatures. Xo states he found them in the frozen areas when he visited the lands of the Water Tribe and brought some back to keep as pets.

Xo still competes in Earth Rumbles and other underground wrestling events as "The Boulder III"

Personal Techniques:

• Earth Shield: Creates a shield of Earth that Xo can carry with him.
• Earth Shatter: Xo slams the ground with his shield and causes a medium fissure to appear and trap opponents.

Description: Dark hair in a long mohawk, height is 5'9", brown skin, golden eyes, thick thighs, has a burn scar up her right arm, carries a shortened hook sword.

Personality: Has resting b*tch face, but is rather chipper and determined to be the best avatar she can be. She loves helping others whether there is a payout or not, but people safely being able to enjoy their freedoms is her reward. That being said, she does tend to get caught up in doling out justice over being helpful sometimes. At times, unable to recognize that not everything needs to be solved by bending and sometimes even villains deserve a second chance.

Backstory: Born in Capital City to Aela, a retired champion pro-earthbender and Zafume, a firebending jazz musician, Zhara was always an advocate for the underdog. Even as a young girl she would hate watching her friends get taken advantage of by members of the Triad, and would rush to help them when she could. Her response however, wasn't always the most peaceful, most times involving getting into a brawl. When Zhara found out she was the Avatar at the age of sixteen, it brought on a mix of emotions. On one hand it would mean giving up a life she was very much accustomed to, but on the other, it meant finally being able to truly fight back against the injustices she saw take place growing up. So naturally she immediately sought out a teacher to help her get started.

Name: Ichi Sai

Description: Ichi is a kind looking young man, ever smiling, and dressed in strange clothes that seem to cross between a holy man's and a man of wealth. All clad in mostly white as that heavy, furred, coat covered his tight under wrappings. Those baggy white pants adorned with gold and black trimming to establish his role; only matching the different material badges pinned to the collar of his coat for each kingdom. Yet, it seemed all he carried with him for his protection was a sword who's sheath implied of it being too long for the young man to even properly draw. Sai, when taking over the boy's body, turns Ichi's white hair a burnt black and wears it freely down over his back. His torso wrapped in blackened with blood, burning, seals that kept the burning beast bound. Shackles left to rattle on his ankles and wrists that seem to connect to nothing.

Personality: Ichi is a very free flowing, ever joyful, young man. He tries his best to never lose his smile as he proves to be the exact opposite of his companion; Sai. Sai was once a savage spirit who would slaughter any life who would come before him. Though, with Ichi in control, he fears his age of fury may just be coming to an end.

Backstory: Ichi was once part of a noble family of holy blacksmiths that guarded a sacred blade. One of which that trapped a ancient demon within it's sheath. With every drop of blood it would spill it would grow that much closer to releasing the beast and grow longer. So, they passed it down from generation from generation. Though, the prior master needing to sacrifice his life to the blade to maintain the spells strength... It was a very small family.
Upon his coming of age, Ichi was to find out he was to be the next barer after much training with the blades he forged: despite being a pacifist. Yet, he was not to be informed properly by his elders and by tradition. No. Unlike the others, he had heard the whispers of Sai to him in the night. Pulling the boy over as he took the blade in hand and unsheathed it for the first time in centuries... In that day destroying his entire bloodline.
He was awoken to his uncle forcing the blade sheathed upon his hip as he pulled the hidden, blessed, dagger from the hilt of the cursed blade. "Ichi... You released him... You must go now... Never forget this shame... Bare your mark of exile..!" With that his elder slashed the dagger to Ichi's left eye; leaving a large gash just over the socket but leaving the eye untouched. Only for the man to sheath the dagger and fall before the boy.
Since then he had gather his things, his skills, and has been travelling the world as the last of his bloodline. Collaborating with many skilled benders to craft spectacular weapons fit for kings that wield the elements themselves. Though, typically choosing solitary travel as to release Sai in the deep wilderness, unlike his predecessors.

Family Description: The Sedo family was the first to conquer a mad blood bending spirit hundreds of years ago. They conquered this magical spirit, who had escaped from it's binds in the spirit realm, by binding it in it's own enchanted blade: stolen and altered to befit them. Since then, they had separated from the rest of the world's trifles. Watching politics change with the avatars coming and promise of peace. All the while, their family never staying affiliated with one element or the other as to keep their mastery of a forge and the spirit realm: all for a sole purpose of containing the spirit of the blade.
In time these skills of enchanted forging and monk leveling sealing ability amongst their members had become an envy to every kingdom in the continents. All seeking weapons to symbolize their power or aid in containing the spirits that kept their kingdoms alive and thriving. Renowned, yet, no nation dared get too close for their ritualistic ways: sacrificing the current bearer of the blade in order to pass it on to the next chosen. A carefully calculated ritual to protect and keep their own demon at bay and store their blood in the sheath.
This ritual soon to be disrupted by Ichi as he had took his entire family: capturing all their blood within the sheath as the namesake was destroyed. Leaving only one to carry on a new name with new destiny that would surely break the old.

Extra:
-Sai and Ichi share the same energy, essentially. It is Ichi's reluctance to accept this that separates the two personas and makes Ichi a poor water bender. Sai, on the other hand, embraces their destiny of unity, so, he is able to tap into Ichi's untapped water bending abilities; despite being strictly a blood bending spirit. Ichi has a distaste for most things water-bending because of this.
-If one stole the blade and opened it: Ichi would still transform. The blade must be taken and the prior owner killed with the blade before ownership of the power can be claimed.
-The sheath is filled with blood of Sai's victims and his primary source of bending: actually very picky about who he will bend on that is living. He deems it disrespectful to bloodbend on a warrior of honorable standards. Even more picky about who's blood he keeps.
-Ichi takes all pain/touches on Sai's behalf. It's Ichi's body no matter the mind in charge and Sai feels nothing in a physical aspect.

Age: 16

Personality: Friendly but feisty when the time comes. She has the temper of a firebender and defends her friends vehemently.

Backstory: Bek grew up not knowing she was a water bender, as she was raised by a family of fire benders. Her mother had always wanted a daughter and after having given birth to three sons, she was desperate for a girl. Bek's father, by some miracle, found her abandoned on the edge of their farm and brought her home. But as she grew older he grew distant from her, never truly accepting her as his own.

Bek didn't get along with her eldest two brothers at first but the youngest, Zato, was like her best friend. He was too young to know she wasn't his real sister, unlike the other two who had been sworn to secrecy The two of them bonded over the fact that their father disapproved of them both and they stuck together and comforted each other when he went off on one of his rages. So it was all the more heartbreaking when she went into his room at the age of 6 and discovered he had had enough, and had eaten toxic berries to kill himself. Bek had been the one to find him and in her emotional state had water bended for the first time. Ten years later, almost to the day, she left home to travel the world in the hopes of finding her real family.
